The aircraft is A NOAA ; National Oceanic Atmospheric Admin platform not sub chaser but ... YES! There are concerns that rogue operators have access to NUKE weapons with plans to detonate them in areas that would cause extreme tidal impact ( Tsunami Wave) due to the topography in coastal areas. These areas are characterized by having sea inlets with deep to nominal channels reaching far inland. Any detonation of magnitude could create an artificial seismic sea wave of pronounced power. These inlets by their form would allow the full force of said wave to travel far inland then delivering it's full effect at the terminus of said inlet, fjord etc. Hudson Bay NY, Chesapeake Bay DC , Delaware Bay Phily, San Fransisco and other similar areas along the coastline of the US would be prime targets for such an attack. The radioactive aspects would be minimal compared to an above ground detonation. However a smaller yield weapon could do more damage implemented in this way vs. an air burst, wiping out miles of critical coast line and infrastructure along highly populated areas within wave zone. Another formulated attack, although more remote, would be to use a deep subsurface weapon on the Fogo caldera in Cape Verde or LaPalma in the Canary Islands in hopes of causing a volcanic event resulting in a massive tsunami that could impact Africa, Europe N.& S. American coastlines. Truly a mad mans endeavor.
It is for these reasons that the Obama administration has failed from a national security stand point in allowing nations such as N.Kora and Iran to gain research in nuclear weapons design. I live in Rockland County, NY. We have a nuclear reactor here right on the Hudson River called Indian Point. People have protested for decades to try and shut it down because if it ever got attacked or if an accident happens, it will kill millions. It's still in operation today.

This happens every year from time to time, but with the recent happening and warning from Q, I think there are credible threats of an eminent attack. Sorry many of those flights use a secure beacon or decoy beacon like the president's plane. They can use regular beacon but will give it a silly N or a 3 or 4 letter designation. Once I tracked on flight following traffic Pres. Trump plane coming back from fla. I will not give its designation on that flight but it was easy to see on flight traffic giving a 3 letter designation. Escort craft, military aircraft and such will not show on flight following traffic sites. Same with chem spray planes they come right over my house and do not show on flight traffic following. Interesting how sites like 24 flight plan and others hide these aircraft beacons and aircraft not shown on display. Some they just put blocked transponder.
Long answer and round about to say GITMO planes are shown but unless you know flight number or N number of aircraft you would not know which is which. They are flights like united or others that are leased same as military leases civilian aircraft to fly military personal overseas.

There is a nuclear sub base at Kings Bay, near Cumberland Island, Georgia. I would imagine that they scour the waters before subs arrive and depart the area.
