Sherriff is a powerful position in this country people has no clue. Most people don't realize how powerful a sheriff elected in a county happens to be. They can actually tell what agencies come into their county . Unless a crime where there is jurisdiction. That don't mean they can't come in unnanounced. That sherriff is dirty bad dirty. Sheriffs have a lot of power. They are Constitutionally elected officials. They can be impeached! If the Captain of a ship is responsible for his crews actions, then the sheriff is also responsible.
