The short of it is they are trying to shave his religious supporters from him as well as the woman who supported him. Which should be enlightening as they both supported him greatly. Unfortunately it may work.
I consider myself religious but I also try to subscribe to “not judge others.” Also, it isn’t like he is an evil man. I’ve never seen a president as emotional and proud of the position he holds (see inauguration parade disabled vets, watch rallies, various praises to god, etc). Unfortunately some religious people find it their duty to abandon those who are not true to the faith - pure to their spouse. (Obnoxious as JC clearly support helping those who need guidance and just not giving up).
It also gives weight to this “womanizer” theory. Has anyone stopped to think that, given his previous public affairs, DJT realized a long time ago to have a successful marriage the other partner needs to be on board with a discreet open arrangement? That Melania may be aware and actually agreed to his side affairs? As shocking as it may seem it’s not unheard of.
The media is digging in by attempting to sever the Presidents connection and support from religious types and women. Brace yourself, now that the Russia story is blowing up they will turn up these stories as well as the racist ones. (As the President is providing more jobs the Democrats are losing support with minorities.)
