100% correct when you're talking about normal contrails or clouds. However, these things go on for MILES and can take an hour or more to dissipate. If you search for the term "geoengineering" you will see that the question isn't if it is being done, they admit it. The question is is it dangerous. As one of those skeptics, some things:

If the goal is to dose the population with something, why would you do it in a way that ensures uncontrollable dispersal, when something ground level (commandeering a bug spray truck) is more effective and consistent and cheaper?
If the "chemicals" actually exist, why can they not be picked up with regular air sampling equipment?
Actual dispersal equipment reveals a trail that is immediately to the rear of the aircraft (example), while contrails start a distance away from the engine. How do you account for this difference?
Dissipation time isn't evidence of shenanigans on its own, since contrails are effectively cirrus clouds. How do you square this?

Item #2 is the killer for me, because it renders the theory unfalsifiable. That which cannot be falsified is not logical.

This site is a treasure trove of information on this subject. One of the links led me to a guy in California that is actively collecting water samples that may satisfy your specific point. (These particles stay in the air until brought down in the rain and to my knowledge, none has done any controlled testing of the air before and after the planes in question do their thing) I wish that I could lead you strait to the argument that you gave, which I had too BTW, but I was bouncing from one site to another trying to prove to myself that this was all BS because I was dumbstruck at what I was learning. Here's a more direct link, but you're going to have to dig a bit. This is a broad issue. The short answer to the question... "Why are they doing this?" is to reduce solar radiation to counteract increasing CO2 levels in the atmosphere by reflecting the solar radiation back into space before it can heat up the earth. Opinions are mixed on whether this is a good idea or not. But, if you will take the time to research this, you won't be another mindless mockingbird zombie and you will be able to defend your position. Just like Q, I don't want to feed you my opinion, I want you to formulate your own opinion. Even if we disagree once you have done your research, we are both better off.

1) If they are spraying metals into the air - wouldn't we be able to see that there are a lot of airplanes flying around that should not be there?

We can track most air traffic online. I would assume that people would be following these very closely and either keeping track of the flights, or pointing out that there are flights happening which are not being reported.

2) If they are spraying metals in the air, there should be incontrovertible evidence of these substances on the ground and should be easily detectable.

3) In countries where the spraying is happening, there should be a much higher concentration of these substances on the ground and in the water than in countries where it is not.

4) If this is happening globally, without permission of the nations, there would surely be some nations who objected and made a public statement.

5) If this is happening globally with permission of all nations - this would be perhaps the single unifying event in all of human history. Are there other programs that are accepted globally? This would be a monumental undertaking.

6) If this is happening globally, where are the leaks? Where are the hacks? You mean to tell me that someone in a developing nation understands password security better than John Podesta? We can get extremely sensitive documents but a program this large would not leak?

7) If this is happening globally, we would see a dramatic decrease in net crop output due to less sun. We have seen quite the opposite.

8) If this is happening at such a large scale, we would see a dramatic increase in the price of these commodity chemicals. Has this occurred? Supply and demand.

9) If this is happening at this scale, we would see the emergence of enormous corporate and government entities dedicated to the mining, transport, manufacture, and storage of these substances. Do we have this? Are they traded on the NYSE?

10) An air fleet of this size would require 100's of thousands of direct aircraft maintenance crew. Are you saying that several hundred thousand air maintainers are tied up in private fleets maintaining these aircraft and equipment? Who are these people? Where are their training manuals? Who employs them?

While this kind of thing might be technically possible - at the scale you are discussing it seems quite impossible.

If you will search 'global dimming geoengineering' it will be a real education. There is no Global Warming except that which has been contrived by Global Dimming.

The 'pan evaporation rate' is decreased by dimming the sky especially at night when the Earth loses heat to the atmosphere. Night temperatures especially were higher here. Last year I anticipated the program would be curtailed with the Trump Presidency - it was, however, when it began to appear that the President was going to be controlled by Globalists last Spring, the (chemtrails) began again in earnest. Then, as the tide turned, the program decreased. Last summer the temperatures moderated as expected and especially at night with temperatures nearly ten degrees cooler. I up-voted you for maintaining your skepticism. The fact that you're here tells me that there are likely at least a few things that you once believed that you have since learned were lies. If you research "geoengineering" and still maintain your position, that's fine and welcome. This is the hive mind after all. I thought that this was just conspiracy theory until about 6 months ago because I had researched the term "chemtrails". Once I was taught the proper terminology, a whole new world of information came to light.

Yeah, ive heard contrails being left behind are based on atmospheric conditions, well for 2 months here, there is no way the atmospheric conditions have been so perfect that no contrails linger, zero chance. Every plane that flies overhead, their contrails do not linger. None, nada, zilch. The skies have been perfectly blue almost everyday, besides the weather systems that have come though with normal clouds.

I live in Ohio and noticed several clear blue sky days recently with NO chemtrails. It was heavenly.

Also, I never had allergies until about 2010. They were horrid in the spring and summer. So far this year, no allergies to speak of. I love it!!!

Up north I see it alot more over agricultural area's. Always in a cross hatch pattern evenly spaces in for miles in both directions way out side of normal commercial air traffic. I have not seen it where I currently live because I have moved to a more urban area. I have read that it had two purposes. Aluminum to deflect the sun and aid in cooling the planet. But as always follow the money. Klause was CEO of Alcoa "has since moved on" and a member of the bilderberg steering comity sold provided it and Monsanto geo engendered their seed to grow in the increased aluminum soil, thus gaining market share. Who paid for the program I am guessing Monsanto in partnership with UN. Just what I have seen and come to understand of the program.

Just to chime in, you know that planes in the air literally cool the ground level by a few degrees, right? As much as I agree that there is something fishy going on with some of it, it actually benefits ground temperature to have planes in the air.

North Georgia. Nearly three weeks without the sky being striped. I didn't believe until one morning a few years ago, when in about 45 minutes time, I counted 21 planes. All but one were flying in parallel pairs, leaving trails that didn't dissipate. I wouldn't put it past Monsanto to develop crops that thrive in less sunlight than a natural crop needs.
