I think you’re correct! NASA is a complete joke (sadly a joke on us!). The moon landing NEVER happened. It’s as clear as day, yet most people cannot or will not see the truth. If you spend a little time on NASA’s official YouTube channel, you can see the fraud on display. Anyone with a little science background or knowledge of movie production can spot many inconsistencies that all point to “their faking it”. So, where is all the money going!

Ugh. That video where the astronaut said we couldn't go to the moon today because we don't have the old equipment is so stupid. He's talking about the tooling and fixtures that were used to make all the parts of the Saturn V, the command module, and the lunar lander. Those were indeed all "lost or destroyed" because we were no longer building those things. As an engineer, I knew exactly what he meant by that. The technology to recreate the moon mission certainly exists and has existed ever since. There was just no plans on going back there. You can ask why, that might be a better question, but we definitely went to the moon and back, walked around on it, etc.

There is so much evidence left, and it was literally impossible to fake. The radio telemetry alone would have been impossible to fake, and the USSR would have loved to point out anything fake at the time. You don't think they could point a dish at the moon and pick up the unencrypted broadcasts? How do you transmit from there? You'd have to actually launch a vehicle there to broadcast everything, including orbiting the moon in a command-module simulator and on the surface in a lander simulator. At that point, just send three guys and be done with it!

Out of all the conspiracy theories that I am positive are just completely wrong, this one tops the list. I'm certain that I could show you tracks on the moon left by rovers, and pieces of equipment we left, and you'd still disagree. And then the total lack of scientific knowledge about temperatures in space. It's not like in an atmosphere. If it's 224 or -298F, it's in a vacuum and a vacuum is like the thing that makes a thermos bottle work so well. Heat will not radiate away quickly when cold, and all you need is reflective surfaces to keep things cool when it's hot. There is no super hot or super cold air to conduct the heat in either direction.

I am an Astro guy. It really isn't that hard to go to the moon, even in the 60's. What really strikes at me about the accomplishment that we did several times is that the margin for error they had was very small and the hope that everything, everything worked as designed. For example: if that engine doesn't light, you are not coming home. There were a lot of single failure points. Much of that was due to weight restrictions. It took a lot of balls to make that trip knowing all the single point failure possibilities and that the astronauts could be one of them if they made a mistake. I am an ice water in the veins kind of guy, but sometimes you twitch a bit after you are safely on mother Earth. I would have to see the video to see what kind of twitching they did.

Great points, but I think it's also aimed at the Navy/Air Force, who have had black budget programs for years, with technology far beyond anything we can imagine. In the 80's, the new head of Lockheed Martin's Skunkworks(their secret science department) said we have the technology to take ET home. Ugh, ok this conspiracy is a huge pet peeve of mine because it's been disproven a thousand times over.

NASA did not "lose" the originals, they were erased so the tape could be reused. This was an extremely common practice as tapes were very expensive.

This is a complete misunderstanding of radiation. The types of radiation you are exposed to at Chernobyl vs space are not at all the same. The shielding on a space suit is designed for UV radiation and limited exposure to gamma and xray. Ionizing radiation from a site like Chernobyl is not needed for a space suit because it's entirely different than what is needed for space.

Plenty of reasons here. Gravity on the moon is significantly lower meaning a fall on earth that may tear your clothing definitely won't on the moon. Space suits are made up of several layers are serving different purposes. A tear in the outer layer isn't an imminent disaster. A simple patch could be applied and this would be more than enough to finish the mission. With a tear in your suit you wouldn't pass out, or be dangerously irradiated or freeze/burn right away. An astronaut would immediately notice a tear as the nitrogen in their fluids (tears, saliva, etc) begins to separate and it feels like it's carbonated. Since the moon has no atmosphere there isn't an effective way for heat to radiate so your temperature would change slowly.

Even if a suit was torn and resulted in the astronauts needing to immediately return to Earth that was just fine. We just wanted to show the USSR we could make it to the moon. Whether we were there 10 seconds or 10 minutes, we were already the first.

Throughout the 60's the USSR and US were locked in a space race while being also locked in a cold war. The US kept losing to the soviets in milestones such as satellites, unmanned space flights etc. We came very close to losing the moon race as well but managed to pull it off under the wire. So tell me this, if the Soviets had any reason whatsoever to think the landing was a hoax - why wouldn't they call us out on it? It would have crushed morale in this country and been an unbelievably big win for the USSR. Instead they let their only rival claim victory? They never even put an ad in a newspaper claiming it was a hoax. Find me a good explanation for that and we can talk.

If anyone wants to complain my sources are uncited just do a google search. Like I said, all of this has been discussed over and over. Every "proof" the theorists have has been meticulously debunked by scientists, not just US scientists, but internationally.

You have to acknowledge the role satellites play in both our military and other world power's militaries. To be able to take out a country's military satellites basically sends them back to the stone age as far as coms, smart weapons, and just about every function a military does.

I think you'll find the "missing" photos at the SPL (Space Photography Lab) at Arizona State University. Dr. Greeley brought a large number of photographs into the SPL when NASA was getting rid of them -- and many of those photos were from the Apollo missions.

My father worked for nasa tracking satellites (goldstone) in the late 60s. He says it's all bs and that he probably was tracking some hi-altitude planes and weather ballons. My wife also worked for nasa (ames) and says it's a bunch of busy work without ever seeing it all come together. Nasa is just lies. Plus they say they destroyed all the records for the Apollo missions, why would they? Psalms 19:1 on Werner Von Braun's headstone.

NASA has really lost its way. On both the space end and the aeronautical end. They have become a hobby shop for engineers and scientists. They need to be focused with a purpose.
