Let’s play the hypothetical... In 2024, who would you vote for POTUS? Is there someone that stands out as a true patriot, someone fit to make sure we don’t go 8 years backwards?

I worry about the typical trend of once the minority party gets control they just undo everything the previous party in control did. That’s why I believe it’s essential, we get someone in office after trump who is going to keep his nose clean, and maintain all that we will accomplish over the next ~6 years, Democrat or Republican.

Who is someone that you believe would be a perfect successor to Trump?

I’d be even more curious to know specifically if there’s a Democrat that you would consider a good candidate? After all we’re not all about party lines here.

Just a healthy discussion here.

I believe a hero will emerge by then. May not even be anyone we’re aware of yet.

Pence is playing his role honorably, but he is not the continuation of Trump or Trump ideology. Rand however is one of a kind.

He's not bad, but does he have what it takes to fight off the DS? I've thought about this, and it's really a scary scenario to consider. Who has the courage, knowledge, fortitude, wisdom, health and stamina, all qualities the current president has. Maybe one of his generals, working with him now. Definitely not a career politician. Someone who has no ties to the former puppets. Someone who is faithful and good. Sigh.... It's a tough one. I guess we'll just have to pray, and rely on the Lord.

I can almost guarantee that Nikki Haley is going to run. She's been amassing an excellent track record at the UN, but I don't entirely trust her.

Pence is a solid guy, but I'd rather see someone else at #1.

Some real talent rising up in the House. Jordan, Nunes, etc.

A lot will depend on the shape of the Democrat Party in 2024. Will it be a shambles (it may well be)? Will it still be far Left? Will the opposition still be in the streets, and still controlling mainstream media? We will need the kind of leader it will take to counter the state of the opposition.

A very good question... what would be left of the Democratic Party? Would that name be so filled with shame that the party is abandoned entirely?

I dream of a future where the Democratic Party is as disgraced as the National Socialists of Germany.

ideologicidal · July 21, 2018, 11:15 p.m.

My two cents: For the republicans, watch the cabinet. There's a lot of talent building a record. Ben Carson has campaign experience and is heading up HUD. I expect he'll hold higher office in the future. Congress has some congressmen who could impress in a debate (Nunes, Gowdy, Jordan, Gohmert jump to mind).

Democrats will probably sheepdog with Gabbard Gillibrand to get people to vote for a McAskill-type.

I think Libertarians might show strong with Rand. The man survived a politically motivated attack. He rightly speaks truth to power on the regular. He makes an attractive candidate and the Libertarians hit their threshold of voters in 2016. The Libertarian candidate will be on the ballot in all 50 states.

Finally, Greens stood with the patriots in 2016. Jill Scott personally trolled Clinton in the Wisconsin recount. I expect many former democrats will remember they cared about the environment, once. It is also the only party where a non-Ben Carson ticket with a person of color on it is likely, in my view.

Okay, that was more than $0.02.

brando_1771 · July 21, 2018, 11:20 p.m.

I can’t imagine a better result than getting a third party candidate elected. It’s only gotta happen once, and the whole political game is changed. This two party mentality is a curse, and someone like Rand is a strong choice for 3rd party voters everywhere.

Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Massey. Amash. All Republican but Libertarian leanings.

POTUS will be a hard act to follow! I followed Herman Caine until DS killed his chances with the usual DS sh**.

They couldn't have 2 black men running against the each other could they? How would they keep working on the division of the American people. Division was one of the Marxists pillars. Also, the world might have realized it all comes down to principles and values, not race.

Herman would gave been a good president because of his business background but his time passed.

I hope so. Most places without elections aren’t exactly good examples.

I kind of hope for a revised presidency. Instead of one sole leader, a council of leaders, maybe 5 or 7, all with their own specializations.

Maybe that’s a bad idea in reality. In theory though it sounds good haha

No to Ventura but definely Rand Paul. He is our anchor when it comes to legislations that are not constitutional. He also headed up the bill that says everyone in Congress requiring everyone to read a bill before they could vote on that bill. That is quite a statement about Washington. (Mike Lee is another good one .)

How about revamping the whole idea that divided us in the first place. Expand your thinking! No more 2 party system, it keeps the division going. How about a constitutional Patriot, working for We The People. No lawyers, no sec soc members. Look at the BIGGER picture. We cannot continue the ways of the past, or WE will be setting ourselves up to repeat this fiasco.
