Watchdog alleges Trump campaign illegally concealed $170 million in spending

 

A nonpartisan watchdog filed a complaint with the Federal Election Committee (FEC) on Tuesday alleging President Trump’s reelection campaign broke the law by β€œlaundering” $170 million in spending in an effort to conceal payments to people close to the Trump family and campaign.

 

The 81-page complaint, filed by the Campaign Legal Center (CLC), alleges that former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale used a β€œpass-through” company to pay downstream vendors, including Trump campaign members, associates and family members.

 

β€œThis illegal conduit scheme leaves voters in the dark about the entities working for the Trump campaign, the nature of their services, and the full amount they are paid,” said Brendan Fischer, the CLC’s director of federal reform. β€œWe don’t know all of what is being hidden by this scheme, but we do know that it violates the law.”

 

The CLC has asked the FEC to investigate and take action against the campaign for funneling payments through the American Made Media Consultants (AMMC), which is the parent company the Trump campaign allegedly used to conceal the payments.

 

The Trump campaign told The Hill it has done nothing wrong. Spokesman Tim Murtaugh said AMMC is responsible for β€œarranging and executing media buys and related services at fair market value.”

 

β€œAMMC does not earn any commissions or fees. It builds efficiencies and saves the campaign money by providing these in-house services that otherwise would be done by outside vendors,” Murtaugh said. β€œThe campaign reports all payments to AMMC as required by the FEC. The campaign complies with all campaign finance laws and FEC regulations.”

 

The Trump campaign is a massive organization. It has raised more than $947 million this cycle and has thousands of employees.

 

Parscale had overseen the campaign’s spending until he was demoted a few weeks ago. Some Republicans had criticized Parscale for contracting out campaign work to his own firms and clients, but the Trump campaign has defended his spending.

 

The CLC complaint alleges the Trump campaign cleared $170 million through AMMC, which it says was used as a β€œclearinghouse” for payments that were steered to friendly political consulting firms or people who did not register the payments with the FEC.

 

β€œThe firms serve as conduits that receive millions in payments from the campaign and disburse the funds to the campaign’s ultimate vendors, thereby concealing the campaign’s transactions with those vendors,” the complaint reads.

 

β€œBy failing to report payments to the campaign’s true vendors and employees, the Trump campaign and Trump Make America Great Again Committee have violated, and continue to violate federal law’s transparency requirements and undermine the vital public information role that reporting is intended to serve,” it adds.

Triumphant Pell returns to the Vatican amid financial scandal

 

A triumphant George Pell heads back to the Vatican this week to face enemies who hoped he’d rot in jail. But the shoe’s on the other foot this time, writes Andrew Bolt.

On Tuesday George Pell flies back to Rome, a challenge to powerful enemies now caught in the Vatican’s worst financial scandal in decades.

 

Those enemies hoped Cardinal Pell, the Vatican’s former corruption buster, would rot in an Australian jail on suspiciously false charges of child sexual abuse.

 

But Pell returns in triumph, and it’s his nemesis, Cardinal Angelo Becciu, who could now face jail instead.

 

And once again, former Vatican officials ask: is there a connection to this scandal and Pell’s legal nightmare in Australia?

 

Pell was the Vatican’s fourth most powerful man, overseeing church finances, until Victoria Police charged him in 2017 with 26 charges of sexual abuse against nine different β€œvictims”.

 

Pell stepped down and returned to Australia in July 2017 to clear his name, only to spend 405 days in jail for a crime he could not have committed.

 

For some at the Vatican, having Pell disappear was extremely convenient.

 

He’d been leading an audit of Vatican finances and uncovered extensive corruption, possibly involving even the Mafia.

 

Pell warned Pope Francis, adding: beware of Becciu, second in charge of the Secretariat of State.

 

Pell was alarmed by one of Becciu’s property deals – a luxury development in London, bought with loans from a Swiss bank with a record of violating money-laundering and fraud safeguards.

 

Becciu apparently tried to disguise those loans by cancelling them out against the property’s value.

 

Other Becciu deals also looked weird, including financial transfers to buy an Italian hospital that then collapsed, riddled with theft and fraud, leaving an astonishing $1.3 billion debt.

 

Becciu had even placed his niece as the secretary to the church’s representative at the hospital. He’s also accused of steering other Vatican business to his three brothers.

 

Becciu fought back. In 2016, he unilaterally cancelled an external audit of Vatican departments commissioned by Pell.

 

Pell asked the Pope to back him up, but Francis refused.

Pell was now running out of time. Victoria Police had advertised for β€œvictims” who had been assaulted at Melbourne’s St Patrick’s Cathedral when Pell was Archbishop.

 

That trawling worked: alleged victims did come forward. All complaints were inherently implausible. All failed.

 

But one went further than the rest. A man whose name is still suppressed claimed Pell in 1996 sexually assaulted him and a fellow chorister at the same time in the Cathedral after Mass.

 

The story was absurd. The other supposed victim, since dead, told his parents he wasn’t abused, and the evidence showed neither Pell nor his accuser could have been at the scene of the crime at the only time it could have happened.

 

But this still kept Pell away from the Vatican for three years and in jail for one until the High Court in April quashed his sentence.

 

Becciu made use of the time. In the same month that police said they’d charge Pell, Becciu fired the Vatican’s first-ever auditor general, Libero Milone, accusing him of β€œspying” on him and threatening criminal charges if Milone didn’t go quietly.

 

But now Pell is free and Becciu has fallen.

 

Becciu, who’d become head of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, was last week forced to resign over financial irregularities.

 

The Pope said Becciu also resigned his rights as a Cardinal, apparently including the right to vote.

 

This last time a Cardinal was demoted like this was in 2015, when Scotland’s Keith O’Brien was punished for sexually harassing young priests.

 

Becciu last week vowed to prove his innocence, but now Pell returns, ostensibly to empty his Vatican apartment.

 

The Pope has not offered him a job, but many cardinals think Pell may have been right and the Pope should have backed him.

 

The Pope’s authority has been rocked, and it would make sense to show he’s serious about fighting corruption by giving Pell some role.

 

Pell, though, does not seem keen on any big job. He’s 79, and told me recently his only ambition now is to plant roses.

 

All he’s said publicly about Becciu’s sacking is that the Pope was β€œelected to clean up Vatican finances” and β€œis to be thanked and congratulated on recent developments”.

 

He added: β€œThe cleaning of the stables continues in both the Vatican and Victoria.” He’s hinting this scandal may be linked to his persecution in Victoria.

 

Pell may not want any new role, but his church calls. His Pope is weak.

 

It is the time for all good men in the Vatican to step up. And Pell – for all the attempts to destroy him in Melbourne – is one of those good.

Biden's bid to oust Ukraine prosecutor followed intense pressure by son's Burisma firm

 

Six high-level meetings included a previously undisclosed contact with U.S. ambassador in Kiev, records show.

 

Hunter Biden and representatives of Burisma Holdings secured at least six high-levels meetings with senior Obama administration officials in the weeks just before Vice President Joe Biden forced the firing of the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating the gas company, according to newly disclosed memos and testimony.

 

During some of the meetings, a Democratic firm called Blue Star Strategies that was representing Burisma repeatedly pressed U.S. officials to help end corruption allegations that long had dogged the Ukrainian gas firm, which appointed Hunter Biden to its board in 2014.

 

In one previously undisclosed contact in December 2015, Blue Star secured a meeting with then-U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt in which the Burisma lobbyists made a case that the gas firm should not be prosecuted any longer.

 

The meeting came at a sensitive time. Pyatt just a few months earlier had given a speech demanding that Burisma and its owner Mykola Zlochevsky be prosecuted for corruption, and Ukrainian prosecutors had begun stepping up activity in the case, including sending evidence to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau for further investigation and eventually securing a new asset forfeiture against Zlochevsky.

 

The New York Times also had just reported a story saying Hunter Biden's presence on Burisma's board during the investigation was undercutting U.S. credibility in the fight against Ukrainian corruption. State Department officials divulged Joe Biden also made the first effort to fire the lead prosecutor in the Burisma case that same month.

 

Amos Hochstein, a senior energy policy official at the State Department and confidant of Vice President Biden, told Senate investigators he took meetings with Blue Star in late 2015 and again in March 2016. He also met once with Hunter Bidem during the same time frame to discuss Burisma.

 

In the latter of its meetings with Hochstein, Blue Star argued there was no longer a reason to pursue the gas firm or its founder Mykola Zolchevsky, Hochstein testified.

 

"They told me that they believed that Zlochevsky was tried, prosecuted, and the charges against him were dismissed by the U.K. and, therefore, there was no reason to hold him responsible since the judicial system worked," Hochstein said, describing the March 2016 meeting.

 

"I was very clear about my views that I disagreed," he added. "… They clearly did not agree with me, and I expressed my disappointment."

College football coach leaves 'All Lives Matter to Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ' note, quits team

 

An Illinois State football coach abruptly quit the team Thursday, leaving a note on the door while exiting the facility.

 

Kurt Beathard, who was the Redbirds’ offensive coordinator, told The Pantagraph he let a note that said β€œAll Lives Matter to Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ” before he left. Officials told the newspaper Wednesday he was no longer a part of the team and declined to comment on why he abruptly left.

 

His departure apparently followed an incident involving a β€œBlack Lives Matter” poster in the locker room. Sources told The Pantagraph that the poster was taken down from the Illinois State locker room in the school’s football building. Beathard denied any involvement in the locker room saying that someone put a sign on his door and that he took that down.

 

β€œThat locker room crap is wrong. I took the sign down somebody put on my door. That’s it,” Beathard told the newspaper. β€œI didn’t take anything off that wasn’t put on my door. I wrote the message.”

 

Beathard’s departure came weeks after players had an issue with athletic director Larry Lyons using the phrase β€œAll Redbird Lives Matter” in a video conference, according to the newspaper. Some student-athletes boycotted workouts because of it and a march supporting Black voices was held.

 

Beathard returned to Illinois State in 2018 – his third stint with the program. He’s spent 15 years as a coordinator in the FCS. He played in the USFL and Arena Football League.

 

His nephew, C.J. Beathard, is a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers.

After a public outcry by pro-democracy activists, Lai was released on bail. Earlier this month, a court in Hong Kong found him not guilty of criminal intimidation charges stemming from a separate 2017 case.

 

"I'm very disappointed about this Pope," Lai told Just the News in a video interview from his home in Hong Kong. "I'm very disappointed about what they did by extending the treaty, which is secret, nobody knows what's happening. And during the last two years, what [Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader] Xi Jinping has done to religion is really horrible. And yet the Vatican is so pleased to extend the pact with them. As Taiwan – China Tensions Remain High, New Japanese PM Urges Regional Stability

 

Stoked by the second visit to the renegade Chinese island by a senior US official in the last couple of months, and the recent announcement of a massive package of pending weapons sales by the US, the last week has been another intense period of live-fire military drills and mutual recriminations. Meanwhile, Japan’s new Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said on Friday he had agreed with Chinese President Xi Jinping to pursue high-level contacts in a bid to promote regional and international stability.

 

China has stepped up its military flights near Taiwan, including numerous incursions across the mid-line of the Taiwan Strait, in the weeks following the announcement by the Trump administration that the US is planning a major weapons sale to the renegade island, probably including cruise missiles, drones and mines.

 

China has threatened or entered into Taiwan’s airspace 46 times in the past nine days, the island’s defence ministry said.

 

On Thursday, an aircraft of the People’s Liberation Army entered the island’s air defence identification zone, thought to be a Yun-8 anti-submarine aircraft. Taiwan’s Ministry of Defence broadcast radio warnings, scrambled fighters, and deployed anti-aircraft missile systems in response. LINK

 

Taiwan’s defence ministry said China’s aerial incursions were at their most intense at the end of last week as Keith Krach, the US undersecretary of state for economic growth, energy and the environment, arrived on the island for an official visit.

 

Chinese officials stated that China has been reacting to what Beijing has called β€˜collusion’ between Taiwan and the United States, and to protect China’s sovereignty, in response to Krach’s visit last week to Taipei.

 

In response to the spike in hostile aerial activity, Taiwan’s armed forces held military drills on one of its offshore islands close to China on Thursday and Friday. Taiwan’s Defence Ministry said the drills to repel a landing took place on the Matsu archipelago, which lies just offshore the Chinese city of Fuzhou.

 

The drills took place across the archipelago involving the use of cannons and machine guns, the ministry added, accompanied by pictures of the exercises.

 

Taiwan has held Matsu, along with Kinmen further down the coast, since defeated Nationalist forces fled to Taiwan in 1949 at the end of the Chinese civil war.

 

When Taiwan and China last joined battle on a large scale in 1958 it was around Matsu and Kinmen, with Chinese forces carrying out more than a month of bombardments, including naval and air battles…

Armenia Says Turkey Directly Participates In Azerbaijani Advance On Nagorno-Karabakh, Claims Hundreds Azerbaijani Soldiers Killed

 

Clashes between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces continued in the contested Nagorno-Karabakh region on September 27 evening. Azerbaijan, supported by Turkey, seeks to take control over the entire region and dismantle the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, a self-proclaimed state with an Armenian majority and integrated into Armenia.

 

Azerbaijani forces have been advancing sine the morning and so far, according to the Azerbaijani side, have captured at least 7 villages and several key heights in Fuzuli and Jabrayil areas. Turkey, a strategic ally of Azerbaijan, already declared its full support to its actions and said that it is ready to provide any requested assistance.

 

The Armenian side says that Turkish forces and proxies directly participate in the clashes. Arayik Harutyunyan, the President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, said that not only Azerbaijan, but also Turkey is at war with the republic.

 

The Armenian Defense Ministry also declared thatit has data confirming the participation of mercenaries (likely members of Syrian militant groups funded by Turkey), the β€œTurkish involvement” and the usage of β€œTurkish weapons”.

 

Armenian sources continue releasing videos of the destroyed military equipment and killed soldiers (at least 8 bodies) of Azerbaijani forces. The first seconds of the video likely shows vestiges of a Mi-8 helicopter of the Azerbaijani military:

 

Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said that about 200 Azerbaijani soldiers were killed. He also said that 30 armored vehicles and 20 drones were destroyed. According to Hovhannisyan, 90 out of almost a hundred wounded Armenian soldiers are in normal condition, the rest were taken to a military hospital in Yerevan. At least 16 Armenian soldiers were confirmed to be killed.

 

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan declared that it got a fire control over the road between Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Forces of Azerbaijan allegedly took the Murov height of the Murovdag mountain range and established fire control of the Vardenis-Aghdar road connecting Karabakh with Armenia. The Ministry of Defense said that this will prevent the transportation of additional troops and equipment from Armenia along the route in the direction of the Kelbajar and Aghdar regions in Karabakh.

 

The Armenian side denied these claims and said that the Azerbaijani attack on its positions near the town of Mrav was repelled. Nonetheless, it confirmed that the Armenians lost β€˜some positions’ in the area Talish and in the southern areas.

I've always thought that the warehousing of inmates is a waste of money and does not benefit the victim, criminal, or society. Nobody is rehabilitated and often just become worse all while costing us money and being unnecessarily cruel. If someone is bad enough to be locked up for over 10 years they should just be put to death or the sentence re-evaluated.

However, death is to good for many of these criminals, especially DNC governors. It would be good to know that those people that killed so many people, sickened thousands, and ordered the rest of us locked down and muzzled, they deserve long term prison

The US government is a good institution. Best form of government created so far, on the planet, bar none. PIC 1 RELATED.

The US government is a bunch of empty chairs created by a document. We do not want to destroy those chairs. We vote people in and out of those chairs.

The institution structure is sound, but, the evil sociopaths will always target those chairs using deception and theft of the vote. We want to remove the people, bodily. An eviction. This is why we can never just believe that our government is "good". The structure is fantastick. BUT it will always be the target of evil sociopathic power mongers, like every government that ever existed, period.

 

We the people now, and in generations to come, can never ever forget this. We can NEVER assume our government is not being infiltrated by evil, foreign, or domestic.

 

They WILL recreate their own evil institutions if given the chance. So, we need to look at all the new tools they have created for themselves since the Constitution was written, like non profits, and NGO's. Think STRUCTURE, like the founders.

 

Our generation did not have the internet. But we built it (thinking of many of you before you were born). Still not sure whether it is a good thing, or a bad thing. The founders abolished 6 of those seven branches by distributing the power over them to we the people as individuals. They did it in the Constitution. They left only the possibility of a central bank open for debate. Distribution of land took care of distribution of food, medicine, energy. Churches were the creators of schools. There were no public schools, so, Religion is protected to keep parents in control of curriculum, in addition to worship freedom.

 

(((THEY))) have worked hard to consolidate power back over those seven systems, whether through the FED/IRS, FDA, Corporate Oil/ gas Food Transport, Land Ownership, Buying out Media, Controlling school curriculum, buying the voting machines, attempting to pass anti gun legislation, and yes, building spy programs on the internet.

 

Pay attention to what aspects of civilization are being consolidated into the hands of the few, like the founders did. And finish the founders job. There need be a constitutional amendment forbidding a privately owned central bank. This is how (((they))) got their food back in the door in 1912 ish.

 

Do not get tripped up by the different names of the tyranny system. Communism… Kingdom etc….

The important thing is the structure, just like the importance of the structural branches of the Republic created by the Constitution.

Without structural systems, no government can function. The evil ones will attempt to build the seven branches, using parts of a Republic if they must. They will use corporations. They will use ANY structures to re-consolidate power over those seven aspects of civilization above. (probably too high) I don't know the number, but "Nigger rich" is an expression for a reason, and with cost of living in Africa and American dollar almost certainly gonna take a dive soon anyway? And then those who refused the deal, if it were as much as $200,000 or so, would forever be silenced (impossible I know, but you could shut them down and just ignore them thereafter) whenever the topic of "muh reparations" and "we wuz kangs" etc came up. It wouldn't take much for retirement "in luxury" minus the whole "you'd be luxuriously living in a shithole country part." I'm sure many anons have wondered about this being a layer to that Qism. Plenty of good blacks I'd see no reason for needing or wanting this to apply to.

I will start this crazy idea with the premise that the US is not for everyone. It really isn't. Hell, its not even the place or system for many people who were born here and have lived here for generations. Many of the problems we all see are because of this shit. So, how to fix it?

 

1: End all social wellfare/ public retirements/ etc of all kinds in every way imaginable with an exception of under 15 and over 65.

 

2: Allow all US Citizens to participate in the program. ALL citizens. Even prisioners. This is an important point. We spend A LOT of money on prisions and bullshit that comes from them. Anyone facing prision time can simply give up their citizenship and leave the nation permanently and get paid. My guess is anyone facing more than 5-10 years will take this road over prision tbh. It also gives people an exit from prisions any time they want.

 

3: If you want to keep your SNAP and HUD and WIC and all the other free shit these scumbags get simply move to another country and you can keep it. Too expensive you say? Not a problem because we are paying for it all right now anyway.

 

4: Add in an Affiliate Program. This way some famous (or internet famous) person can get substantially more money by getting others to apply under their affiliate program. This will let entire extended families leave the US in a better position than if they are just individuals.

 

5: Allow very selective immigration of only the absolute best people. Have very stringent requirements and very tight controls. All former citizens are excluded as this is not a revolving door.

 

6: Nations who accept people under this program will be eligible for US Aid (which we give away now for fucking free with nothing in return but more scumbags flooding our nation). This will be a boon for these nations. Really shitty nations will gladly take Felons and criminals as they will be an income source and will likely make western style enclaves and actually help their host nations. First world nations who don't really need the money will be more choosey and will not be flooded with shitheads yet will allow them to have quality citizens. This would be for people who just want to live under socialism or some such system as opposed to trying to force it all on us.

 

Simple as that! That is all we need to really do to completely reform the US. This program will not be based on Racism, though defacto it will greatly favor whites and Asians over all other races. It will not be detrimental to those in poverty as the whole program is VOLUNTARY and never forced. If you are a homeless hobo and happy with that and can continue doing so well, thats fine but you won't get any public assistance. Private ONLY. Wealthy people can easily be a part of the program using their name as a way to get an entire city of people to relocate. Religious people can use this program as a way to move an entire church or sect to another area where they will fit in better. It will allow many who came to the US looking for a better life to have that life where they are FROM. It will allow the US to have the pick of the litter or all humanity based on merit as opposed to the clusterfuck we have today. It will end massive prision programs and the courts and vast expenses wasted. It will end generational wellfare as those who are most likely to want wellfare will take their sorry asses elsewhere and their shitty kids they spawn away from here will not recieve shit. The highest cost of the program will be in the first few years. After that it will be an ever-decreasing downward spiral of costs until it reaches a low stable level in probably 20 years. If a smart group was setting this plan up it would be very wise to do so in the midst of a colossal depression as to encourage as many of the weak and useless to take it up while the strong and capable will remain. We would colonize mars in 20 years if we did this

They recognized that all governments need structure to function, obviously.

They stumbled on the fact that all tyranny systems have to be built the same, in order to have the aspects of civilization consolidated into their power to make tyranny POSSIBLE.

 

There are two stable structures of government I have seen. Republic and Tyranny.

Democracy is another form of government, but, as the founders said, it is extremely unstable.

Tyranny is very stable and hard to tear up without bloodshed, if you let it form up all seven of it's branches.

Not if the money came from foreign sources. Isn't that how Congress and the Senate get their laundered money, they give US taxpayer funds to NGO's in other countries and it comes back to them via some back door from a foreign actor or middle man. They are stealing from the American people and enriching themselves through these foreign entities. That money can be confiscated cause it was originally tax dollars paid by Americans.
