'Everyone began manoeuvring almost immediately,' she recalls. Trump aides feared that some of this bunch were really not fit to be presented to the Queen.

'We are going to look like the Beverly Hillbillies,' wailed senior White House official Lindsay Reynolds. 'We'll be an embarrassment to the whole country.'

Even before the family left America, there was trouble. When Trump's sons Donald Jr and Eric complained after Miss Reynolds prevented them from flying to the UK on Air Force One, the president exploded and told her never to '**** with his kids again'.

Meanwhile, Trump's ambitious daughter Ivanka and her Machiavellian husband Jared Kushner were battling to join the President and First Lady when the Queen greeted them at the palace.

Mrs Trump, a stickler for protocol and no fan of Ivanka, was having none of it. 'It didn't dawn on me at first but, over the course of the next few days, I finally figured out what was going on,' says Grisham. 'Jared and Ivanka thought they were the royal family of the United States, on the same level as William and Kate in the United Kingdom. We didn't call her 'the Princess' for nothing, after all.'

In the event, there was no room for the pushy pair in the helicopter to the palace.

It's just one of many colourful episodes from his presidency that Grisham details in her tell-all book, I'll Take Your Questions Now.

Full Vaccination Required to Get Married in Ontario Town

Oakville, Ontario is now requiring proof of full vaccination to grant marriage licenses.

The new vaccine mandate for marriage went into effect on September 22.

Oakville’s rules state, “starting September 22, 2021, the Town of Oakville will require anyone 12 years of age or older to provide proof of identification and proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (or medical exemption) prior to entering or accessing” … “any new appointments for marriage licences and ceremonies.”

Top Scientist Lays Out Case for Wuhan Lab Leak - Warns They May Have An Even Deadlier Virus

That COVID-19 escaped from the Wuhan lab went from a “fringeconspiracy theory” to one of the leading explanations for the pandemic in record time.

Every couple of weeks it seems that there’s a new piece of evidence supporting the theory, and Dr. Stephen Quay laid out the case in his explosive but underreported Wall Street Journal article titled “Science Closes in on Covid’s Origins,” while arguing that a virus far more dangerous may be in that lab.

He spoke to Fox’s Martha MacCallum to discuss it earlier this week. The relevant quotes from the interview are as follows:

Dr. Quay on why all evidence points directly towards the lab: “My work has shown that we don’t need to get inside the institution to answer these questions. And I think that’s an important thing that people realize. I think there’s a lot of kicking the can down the road. But you know, after two years, we’ve done a lot of studies and all of the evidence points directly toward the laboratory. There’s no evidence it supports a natural origin at this point. And so it’s I think I think we’re done at this point with the investigation.”

Dr. Quay on why COVID didn’t come from an animal: “The virus is absolutely pure at the beginning as opposed to having a lot of diversity that you would expect to. That’s a one in a million possibility. And there is no infections in humans in 10000 blood samples that were taken. Again, we were expecting about 400. That’s also a one in a million probability. So the three things in a zoonosis the animal, the virus and the human all point toward a laboratory accident.”

Dr. Quay on a potentially more deadly virus in the Wuhan lab: “..inside the Wuhan Institute of Virology in patients specimens in December 2019. What I found there was that the lab was contaminated with Nipah virus research that’s about two years ahead of SARS-CoV-2. Now, Nipah virus is 80 percent lethal. So this is not, you know, if you didn’t like the pandemic, that was just one percent lethal. This thing they were working on in December 2019 has an 80 percent lethality. It needs to be stopped.”

A massive trove of private financial records shared with The Washington Post exposes vast reaches of the secretive offshore system used to hide billions of dollars from tax authorities, creditors, criminal investigators and — in 14 cases involving current country leaders — citizens around the world.

The revelations include more than $100 million spent by King Abdullah II of Jordan on luxury homes in Malibu, Calif., and other locations; millions of dollars in property and cash secretly owned by the leaders of the Czech Republic, Kenya, Ecuador and other countries; and a waterfront home in Monaco acquired by a Russian woman who gained considerable wealth after she reportedly had a child with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Other disclosures hit closer to home for U.S. officials and other Western leaders who frequently condemn smaller countries whose permissive banking systems have been exploited for decades by looters of assets and launderers of dirty money.

The files include private emails, secret spreadsheets, clandestine contracts and other records that unlock otherwise impenetrable financial schemes and identify the individuals behind them.

The trove, dubbed the Pandora Papers, exceeds the dimensions of the leak that was at the center of the Panama Papers investigation five years ago. That data was drawn from a single law firm, but the new material encompasses records from 14 separate financial-services entities operating in countries and territories including Switzerland, Singapore, Cyprus, Belize and the British Virgin Islands.

The files detail more than 29,000 offshore accounts, more than double the number identified in the Panama Papers. Among the account owners are more than 130 people listed as billionaires by Forbes magazine and more than 330 public officials in more than 90 countries and territories, twice the number found in the Panama documents.

In its statement, Alcogal said it was inaccurate “to imply that we have not classified certain individuals as PEPs, where in fact we have." The firm declined to address specific cases. Overall, the company said, “We have always acted according to the law, and have cooperated in all respects with competent authorities.”

At times, financial advisers pushed Alcogal to do even more to protect the identities of their clients.

Jurg Wissmann, a Swiss lawyer who has represented Putin associates and used Alcogal to set up at least 150 companies in Belize and other tax havens, warned officers at Alcogal never to store any of his clients’ names on computer systems, according to documents.

“You are obliged to keep secrecy for our clients,” he wrote, “and to not make feasible at all a second Panama Papers story.” Wissman did not respond to requests for comment.

Only a few of Wissmann’s clients are named in the Pandora documents.
