Real Raw News has gotten fresh data regarding the military’s recent interest in former Vice President Michael Pence, a man whose entrancing façade and artful rhetoric beguiled a nation into believing he was worthy of one day succeeding Donald J. Trump as President of the United States. In contrast to Trump’s unfiltered dialogue, Pence measured his words carefully and eloquently, rarely raising his voice even when angered. But the soft-spoken Pence was a monster in disguise; if he seemed sincere, his sincerity was little more than a thin veneer occluding his darker predilections—touching young boys.

A JAG source speaking to Real Raw News under condition of anonymity said the U.S. military has obtained conclusive proof that Pence, while serving as Indiana Governor from 2013-2017 and during is tenure at the White House, had a morbid fascination for young boys and even tried to groom them for sexual enslavement.

An arduous investigation into Pence’s past, our source said, identified 5 of Pence’s victims. Two were 13 years old when Pence allegedly fondled them at the Indiana Governor’s Mansion in 2015.

“Pence targeted vulnerable, impressionable kids that were barely teenagers. He went after kids from broken households, usually without a father figure around. He basically coerced, bribed them. In trade for their discretion and silence, he gave them what any teenage boy wants—computers, video games, and money. Later gripped by shame, they didn’t want to come forward, either because of that shame or because Pence was too dangerous a man to cross. Pence wasn’t the type of predator to forcibly take what he wanted. He was a master manipulator, which makes him the most dangerous of child predators,” our source said.

JAG deemed the victim’s stories highly credible, as they aligned and uniformly described Pence’s predaceous behavior: He liked undressing his victims, first removing their pants and underwear. Then he encouraged them to masturbate while he watched, and often touched their genitals. Either through bribery or blackmail, the villainous Pence rewarded his victims with cash, XBOXs, and PlayStations, promising even greater rewards if the children reciprocated his affections.

“Pence told these kids he wanted them to be his regulars, and in two cases the molestations went on for several months—until Pence found new targets. Two victims, who are unrelated and never met, said Pence has an unusually shaped birthmark on his buttocks. There’s no way they could know that unless he exposed himself to them,” our source said.

Four of the five victims are now adults, but have asked to remain anonymous until Pence is brought to justice. Our source said all 4 have agreed to testify against Pence in the future.

The fifth victim cannot testify. He is dead. He held a pistol under his chin and squeezed the trigger a month after his last encounter with Pence, in 2018.

“I can’t detail that too much now. But we learned of this through journals and the sworn testimony of a family member,” our source said.

What’s worse, Pence’s staffers in Indiana and Washington were privy to his crimes.

“There’s disturbing allegations that everyone from housekeepers at the governor’s mansion to White House interns witnessed him in the company of young boys,” our source said.

Asked if President Donald J. Trump might have had knowledge of Pence’s crimes, he said, “There’s no evidence Trump knew just how sinister Pence is. The offices of the president and vice president are compartmentalized. Had Trump known, we’d have gotten proof of Pence’s wickedness much sooner.”

Atlantic Council: A Hidden Hand Censoring the Internet and Pushing the US Toward War

Front and center in the suppression of speech challenging the New Underworld Order is a sinister “international affairs think tank” known as the Atlantic Council (AC). The AC is highly active in the Russia-Ukraine narrative. Last week, one Fred Kempe, AC’s CEO, appeared on CNBC predicting Putin will likely to move forces into Ukraine over the weekend (Feb 12 and 13). Other AC flunkies left the invasion window open for a few more days, all duly reported in the Lugenpresse.

AC is engaged in every sketchy policy on the planet. With momentum fading for vaccines and mandates, the Council on Feb. 1 published a piece called “Vaccinate the World.”

The AC has been deeply involved with pushing the Russiagate and “everyone is a Putin puppet” narrative. An example of this is PropOrNot, a website that claims to expose Russian propaganda. Two independent researchers attempted to identify the clandestine group behind PropOrNot and published their findings online. First, data forensics identified the owners, then they used linguistic analysis. Both pieces of research independently came to the conclusion: The main man behind PropOrNot is the Atlantic Council’s Michael Weiss.

Weiss is an author, the senior editor for The Daily Beast, a columnist for Foreign Policy and a frequent national security contributor for CNN. He’s also editor in chief of The Interpreter, a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and co-chairs the Russia Studies Center at the Henry Jackson Society.

Then there is Crowdstrike, the security company that examined the DNC’s email server and then told the FBI who hacked it. This explored the allegation that the hacks leading to Wikileak’s releases of DNC and Clinton campaign manager John Podesta’s emails were orchestrated by the Russian government. Crowdstrike CEO and co-founder Dmitri Alperovitch is a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council.

The Council early on found a niche as “center for get togethers” of leaders from both sides of the Atlantic, with members working to develop “networks of continuing communication.”

The AC is also a revolving door of fifth-column neocon apparatchiks for the military-diplomacy-surveillance-bankster state. Paul Craig Roberts calls it the marketing arm of the military-security complex. For example, in February 2009, James L. Jones, then-chairman of the Atlantic Council, stepped down in order to serve as President Obama’s new National Security Advisor and was succeeded by Sen. Chuck Hagel. Four years later, Hagel stepped down to serve as U.S. Secretary of Defense.

To help monitor misinformation and remove “inauthentic accounts,” donor Facebook partnered with the Atlantic Council. The AC’s board of directors is loaded with hacks who have misinformed the public and manipulated into supporting war and regime change.

Now, they’re working with Facebook to protect us from misinformation in the name of democracy. Since announcing their partnership with the AC to fight misinformation, Facebook has removed thousands of accounts for “inauthentic behavior.”

Before partnering with Facebook, the AC worked with the U.K. government to identify twitter accounts that it said spread disinformation.

Reddit specifically brought in an Atlantic Council hack to shut down dissent and run thought police operations. What’s left is a sterile platform.

If the ads on the Superbowl each year are like a Rorschach test for the nation’s mental condition, then this year’s ad-roll was a cavalcade of frantic hallucinations suggesting a near-complete detachment from reality for an audience of ADD-disabled cell phone slaves locked into a Big Tech induced consensus trance. You could barely tell what these advertisers were trying to sell in their commercials, the psychotic dazzle of half-second jump-cuts was so ferocious. One interesting note, though: people of non-color (PONCs) seem to have been magically sucked out of the universe. There, that fixed things for everybody else.

Snoop Dog’s half-time house party — Hollywood’s G-rated version of a BLM riot — heralded a real riot later on in downtown LA after the Rams’ victory. Fans lit-up a metro bus and tagged it with spray-paint. The police moved in… objects were thrown at them. I’m just sorry that Snoop didn’t bring out his friend and sometime co-star Martha Stewart to twerk for the multitudes — while, say whipping up a pumpkin mousse. That might have brought the country together after all these months of rancor. But, like I said, sorry, PONCs need not apply. Nor did Da Dawg invite onstage my favorite new pop star, Ski Mask the Slump God, composer of the hits “Faucet Failure” and “Foot Fungus.” Maybe next year… if there is a next year….

All this hearty good fellowship marks the journey of our country from a convocation of be-wigged founding fathers wielding quill pens in defense of liberty to a security-and-surveillance state of hebephrenic zombies lurching to a kind of failure that will make the fall of the Roman Empire look like a lawn sale of someone’s dead uncle’s chattels and effects. The drain-pipe beckons… but will America answer that call… or take a different turn?

Parliamentarians heard on Thursday that nobody was fired or held responsible for the federal government’s mishandling of the national emergency stockpile.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) sent masks to the landfill, shuttered several warehouses and reduced its operations, severely impacting the nation’s COVID-19 response.

PHAC shuttered three out of nine warehouses containing medical equipment meant to deal with emergency situations including a pandemic. In total, 8,839,942 masks, gowns and other personal protective equipment (PPE) were tossed aside a year prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The British government on Saturday accused Russia of organizing a plot to install a pro-Moscow government in Ukraine, as the Kremlin masses troops and materiel near the Ukrainian border in what Western officials fear is an impending military assault on the neighboring nation.

The U.K. Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office gave relatively little information about the intelligence unveiled Saturday other than to say that the Russian government was considering trying to make a Russia-leaning former member of Ukraine’s parliament, Yevhen Murayev, the country’s new leader.

“The information being released today shines a light on the extent of Russian activity designed to subvert Ukraine, and is an insight into Kremlin thinking,” U.K. Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said in a statement, calling on Russia to de-escalate and pursue a path of diplomacy.

“As the U.K. and our partners have said repeatedly, any Russian military incursion into Ukraine would be a massive strategic mistake with severe costs,” Truss said.

British authorities also said they had information showing how Russia’s intelligence services maintain links with numerous former Ukrainian politicians. Some of those former Ukrainian politicians are in contact with Russian intelligence officers planning the attack on Ukraine, the British government said.

The timing has gone all awry on them. The Covid-19 hysteria draws to a close against their wishes to drag it on forever. Kind of worrisome, a little bit. Anybody with half-a-brain left is declining the offer of yet another booster — though Dr. Fauci was still tirelessly selling them last week.

Mainly, though, the window-of-opportunity has closed, in the USA, anyway, for anymore vaccine passport nonsense, and with that goes the dream of roping every last citizen into a corral of total social control, including central bank digital currencies that would turn everyone into a yo-yo to be jerked-around by government.

“Joe Biden” has so far failed to deliver that war with Russia over Ukraine he promised us — which would be like two Craig’s List customers fighting over a twenty-year-old Jeep Wrangler up on blocks with the engine missing. Ukraine president Zelensky is a professional comedian, of course, so one must admire his gag of inviting “Joe Biden” to visit his country, the Gem of Eurasia, “in the coming days,” Mr. Zelenski said, “which will be a powerful signal and contribute to de-escalation.” Plus, all the pierogi and cabbage the US president can eat. All this made National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan gnash his teeth for the trouble he has gone to in prepping the sore-beset American people for World War Three.

But Mr. Sullivan has, perhaps, other things to think about. Like… what are all these offstage noises Special Counsel John Durham is making in the grand jury chambers? Something about Hillary Clinton, and the helpmeets surrounding her in the 2016 election (including especially Jake Sullivan), alleged to have fabricated the Russian collusion whopper that deranged the nation for four years and disabled a sitting president. They even managed to enlist the FBI and the CIA in that task. How’d that happen? Could Hillary have been that peevish? Anyway, it looks kind of bad for the National Security Advisor to “Joe Biden” having such an epic political fraud tacked onto his resume, with perhaps an indictment to follow. Standing by on his resignation….

Our NATO allies must be enjoying the rise of natgas prices beyond the level that many middle-class households in Euroland can afford to keep the heat on in the dead middle of winter, since they have to get so much of the stuff from Russia. Maybe jamming Ukraine into NATO, as America’s Deep State has been wishing and hoping to do, wasn’t such a great idea after all. Maybe NATO itself isn’t such a great idea anymore.

If World War Three doesn’t pan out for “JB,” there’s always a global meltdown of financial markets, banks, and currencies waiting in the wings to amuse and distract everybody from the post-Covid call for a long, hard look at what the pandemic was actually about. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Monday blamed mysterious “imported” forces for the protests against her vaccine mandates that dominate the national capital.

Ardern pointed at Canadian flags and Donald Trump images on the streets of Wellington as evidence for her conspiracy claim.

“It feels like an imported protest to me,” the left-wing Labour leader and former president of the International Union of Socialist Youth confided in an interview.

“I’ve seen Trump flags on the forecourt, I’ve seen Canadian flags on the forecourt,” she told national broadcaster TVNZ, referring to images of former U.S. President Donald Trump allegedly carried by some demonstrators.

“That means at the very point where we are seeing an increase in cases and an increase in risk to the public health and well-being of New Zealand, they want to see removed the very measures that have kept us safe, well and alive. You’ll forgive me if I take a very strong view on that suggestion,” Ardern said.

Trudeau Allows China to Acquire Canadian Lithium Mine

Chinese state-owned corporation Zijin Mining Group Ltd. has acquired the Canadian mining company Neo Lithium for $960 million. Neo Lithium is developing a lithium mine in South America, which could prove to be a significant strategic asset due to the growing demand for lithium.

“Prior to the takeover, Neo Lithium was working to establish itself as a key player in the global battery metals sector by developing one of the world’s largest lithium brine projects [in] Argentina,” wrote Resource World. “Neo Lithium’s 100 percent-owned Tres Quebradas (3Q) Project is a unique high-grade lithium brine lake and salar complex, situated in Catamarca, a region known as Latin America’s ‘Lithium Triangle.’ It is estimated to contain enough reserves to produce battery-grade lithium for 50 years.”

The mine in Argentina promises to be profitable. “A key feature of the project is an unusually low level of impurities that should allow Neo Lithium to develop a project that will rank much lower on the cost curve than other comparable operations,” Resource World explained.

Lithium demand is projected to triple over the next five years due to many Western governments passing regulations that will force auto manufactures to pivot to electric vehicles. The metal is also used in batteries for electronic devices and in the production of iron, steel, aluminum and heat-resistant glass and ceramics. Since the beginning of 2021, lithium prices have increased 280 percent.

Currently, China dominates control of global lithium reserves. “More than 80 percent of the world’s raw lithium is mined in Australia, Chile and China,” wrote cnbc. “And China controls more than half of the world’s lithium processing and refining and has three-fourths of the lithium-ion battery megafactories in the world, according to the International Energy Agency.” It is clear China has been positioning itself to have a monopoly on the electric vehicle, battery supply chain.

Lithium is not a rare resource, with 96.2 million tons of identified reserves. The top three reserves are in Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. The United States is fourth, with 8.2 million tons, but only has one lithium mine in operation in Nevada. China has the sixth-largest reserve, at 5.4 million tons, and it also controls 80 percent of the raw lithium processing in the world market.

The acquisition of Neo Lithium by the Chinese government further solidifies China’s hold on the global market and continues to make the Western world subservient to Chinese manufacturing through aggressive green energy policies. The Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd. supplies electric car batteries to Tesla, Daimler and Toyota.

Following Canada’s election in September 2021, the Liberal government has set the goal for all new passenger vehicles to be electric by 2035. They are also promising more than $1 billion to install new charging stations, update infrastructure, and give people incentives to buy electric cars.

The Canadian government allowed the Chinese-owned company to acquire Neo Lithium without doing a formal security review on the impacts of national security. “Liberal industry minister François-Philippe Champagne said that the federal government had initially looked over the project and had no qualms with it,” True North reported. “‘This transaction was absolutely reviewed to make sure there was no security risk,’ Champagne said.”

Why would Justin Trudeau’s government allow China to purchase a profitable, strategic resource while pursuing policies that make Canada’s economy uniquely dependent on China? Trudeau’s world vision has Canada revolving around China.

Declassified War Reports Break Just Days After White House Claims They Don't Exist

Declassified after-action reports show that U.S. military leaders were irate over diplomatic dithering that plagued America’s bungled exit from Afghanistan last August, according to a new report.

The report in the Washington Post said the after-action documents “detail repeated instances of friction between American troops and diplomats before and during the evacuation.”

The Post report said that the analysis concluded that “indecisiveness among Biden administration officials and initial reluctance to shutter the embassy in Kabul sowed chaos and put the overall mission at ‘increased risk.’”

On Friday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki rejected questions about the report by saying “there was no ‘after-action report’’ and the Biden administration had put months into planning the departure of Americans from Afghanistan.

The 2,000 pages of reporting are part of the overall Abbey Gate investigation report that focused on the bombings that killed around 170 Afghans and 13 U.S. service members.

An after-action report by U.S. Forces-Afghanistan Forward, dated Sept. 24, said that delays in getting diplomats out of Afghanistan made it harder for the military to do its job.

American troops would have been “much better prepared to conduct a more orderly” evacuation, Rear Adm. Peter Vasely said, “if policymakers had paid attention to the indicators of what was happening on the ground.”

One after-action report said delays left military leaders in Kabul about 12 hours to clear out the embassy there.

Another noted there was “insufficient airlift” in the Afghanistan region to get more troops to the airport.

“While considered in the planning phase, the scope and scale of the desperation population was not fully appreciated,” the report said, referring to civilians who fled to the airport after Kabul fell.

The new reports dovetail with a leaked document published by Axios that it said illustrated “just how unprepared the Biden administration was to evacuate Afghan nationals who’d helped the United States in its 20-year war against the Taliban.”

The document was headlined as the National Security Council’s “summary of conclusions” on the subject of “Relocations out of Afghanistan” after a Situation Room meeting.

Although the meeting was held as Taliban fighters were drawing a noose around Kabul, the meeting’s action items implied that there was endless time, as in its notation that officials in Kabul would begin chatting up local staff in Afghanistan “to begin to register their interest in relocation to the United States.”

This gap between reality and the Biden administration was noted at the time by those who tried, and failed, to get the administration to begin the process of relocating Afghan citizens who had been integral to the U.S. mission.

“I kept being told by people in the [White House] the thing they were most concerned about was the optics of a chaotic evacuation,” said Matt Zeller, a former CIA officer

“They treated us like we were Chicken Little. They didn’t believe the sky was falling,” he said. “On the 13th of July, we offered to work with them to help evacuate our partners. We all saw this disaster coming before the inevitable occurred. They didn’t get back to us until Aug. 15, the day Kabul fell.”

Washington, DC, to end vaccine, mask mandates

Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) announced Monday that the city will end its requirement for people entering businesses to show proof of vaccination starting this week and will lift its mask mandate for businesses starting on March 1.

Bowser cited a sharp decline in cases in the omicron wave as justification for the loosening of restrictions. The mayor pointed to the protection of vaccines in saying the situation had changed.

"COVID is not as deadly as it was," she said, noting people can now get vaccinated. "Getting vaccinated and boosted, we can't emphasize enough."

The vaccination requirement for people entering businesses like restaurants will end starting Tuesday. That requirement had drawn resistance from some congressional Republicans who rallied behind a neighborhood bar, The Big Board, that defied the mandate.

Masks will still be required in schools, an area of strong controversy, and some situations like public transit, Bowser said, while the broader mandate will be lifted next month.

Bowser told reporters the city had seen a "precipitous drop" in case levels, justifying the loosening.

Cases are down 90 percent and hospitalizations are down 95 percent since the peak of the omicron wave, the city said.

The move comes amid a national debate over lifting restrictions as the omicron wave descends. Several Democratic governors, in states like New York and New Jersey, have also announced the lifting of mask mandates in recent days.

The Biden administration, despite the moves by local Democratic leaders, has maintained that it is following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance, which recommends that people mask indoors in areas with high amounts of transmission, which is still almost all of the country.

The mayor did not give a date for when the school mask mandate might be lifted. In neighboring Virginia, the new Republican governor, Glenn Youngkin, has drawn controversy for an order to make masks optional in schools, as many Republicans are pushing for.

"We continue to work with our school community," Bowser said, noting also that vaccine availability for children under five years old was delayed last week.

A former U.S. Naval nuclear engineer accused of trying to sell secrets to a foreign government is due to appear in court Monday for a plea hearing.

Jonathan Toebbe of Annapolis and his wife, Dana Toebbe, previously pleaded not guilty to charges of espionage in October. A plea hearing indicates that Jonathan Toebbe will change that plea.

Toebbe, a 42-year-old who worked on classified nuclear projects for the Navy, and his wife, a former humanities teacher at the Key School in Annapolis, face espionage charges for selling secrets about nuclear submarines to an undisclosed foreign power. They were arrested in October in Jefferson County, West Virginia, after selling confidential information “concerning the design of nuclear-powered warships” over the course of a year to an undercover FBI agent who posed as a representative of a military intelligence agency, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

A West Virginia magistrate judge in a Friday order said that Jonathan Toebbe of Annapolis will enter a plea at 3 p.m. local time Monday.

Nicholas Compton, an assistant federal public defender for the Northern District of West Virginia and Toebbe’s defense attorney, did not respond to a request for comment Saturday.

Federal authorities allege that in the spring of 2020, Jonathan Toebbe, 42, began communicating with undercover agents, offering to sell nuclear secrets.

Jonathan Toebbe communicated with agents through encrypted channels, received covert signals and left memory cards containing sensitive information hidden in a peanut butter sandwich and a pack of chewing gum during “dead-drop” exchanges at specified locations in exchange for thousands of dollars in cryptocurrency.

His wife was seen assisting with the drops, sometimes apparently acting as a lookout, according to the complaint.

A magistrate denied Diana Toebbe’s request to reconsider her bail denial. Her attorneys have appealed, asking the court to hold a second detention hearing and consider new evidence — that Jonathan Toebbe has insisted, while in pretrial detention, that his wife is innocent, and that Diana Toebbe’s DNA was not found on “several crucial items of evidence” produced by prosecutors.

December 13, marks dark day in Polish history when in 1981 communist government impose Martial Law in Poland and outlawed Solidarity movement.

Officially marked as Martial Law Victims’ Remembrance Day (Dzień Pamięci Ofiar Stanu Wojennego). On December 13th, 1981, the Communist government, under the guise of an illegal Military Council of National Salvation (WRON), imposed martial law in an effort to silence increasing civic opposition.

At the time, the Solidarity Movement (Solidarność) had been successfully rallying the Polish people in widespread protest of the state’s economic decline and was demanding political and economic reforms.

The military responded by arresting thousands of pro-democracy activists, imposing strict rules such as curfews and censorship, and soldiers became a constant presence on the streets. An estimated 91 people were killed during protests and demonstrations. Even after the end of martial law in July of 1983, many activists remained imprisoned for several more years.

Today, we remember the victims of Martial law, and we honour the sacrifices they made in the fight for a free and democratic Poland.

Considering the recent filing by John Durham there is quite a bit of really good information circling around in our little corner of the internet. Most of this information has already been covered by the likes of Brian Cates and Just Human on their substacks and Telegram channels. It is not my intention to challenge any of that. What I do want to do is submit my thoughts around what is currently happening from the vantage point of someone who has worked with Packet Captures and DNS (and a bunch of other nerdy stuff) for the last 15 years…me

Is it any coincidence that the statement by Donald Trump includes the subject of DNS traffic and also includes a “mistake” referencing an inventor of secure Domain Name Services? I don’t think so. It is my belief that Trump purposely communicated this. I take this as a message that not only does Trump have the Packet Captures (PCAPs), but he has the right people involved to truly capture it ALL.

I have one other piece of information to reference before I get into the meat of what I am theorizing. The following is great article about the recent developments that I encourage everyone to read.

Durham also writes that during Sussman’s trial, the government will establish that among the Internet data Tech Executive-1 and his associates exploited was domain name system (DNS) internet traffic pertaining to “(i) a particular healthcare provider, (ii) Trump Tower, (iii) Donald Trump’s Central Park West apartment building, and (iv) the Executive Office of the President of the United States (EOP).”

Durham states that the internet company that Tech Executive-1 worked for “had come to access and maintain dedicated servers” for the Executive Office of the President as “part of a sensitive arrangement whereby it provided DNS resolution services to the EOP.”

“Tech Executive-1 and his associates exploited this arrangement by mining the EOP’s DNS traffic and other data for the purpose of gathering derogatory information about Donald Trump,” Durham states.

The filing also reveals that Sussman provided “an updated set of allegations” including the Russian bank data, and additional allegations relating to Trump “to a second agency of the U.S. government” in 2017.

Durham says the allegations “relied, in part, on the purported DNS traffic” that Tech Executive-1 and others “had assembled pertaining to Trump Tower, Donald Trump’s New York City apartment building, the EOP, and the aforementioned healthcare provider.”more

Clinton Campaign Lawyer Gave ‘Sensitive’ Trump Data to CIA, Special Counsel Claims

A lawyer for the Clinton campaign in early 2017 gave computer data to the CIA that was obtained from the Trump White House and Trump Tower’s computer servers through a "sensitive" government contract, according to Special Counsel John Durham.

Durham alleged in a court filing that Michael Sussmann, a cybersecurity lawyer who worked for the Clinton campaign, met with the CIA in February 2017 to provide the agency with a dossier of purported computer links between Trump and Russia. Sussmann obtained the sensitive data from a tech executive whose firm monitored web traffic for the White House executive office. Rodney Joffe, the executive, "exploited" the White House data, as well as that of Trump Tower and Donald Trump’s apartment building in Manhattan, in order to find "derogatory" information about Trump’s ties to Russia, according to Durham. The prosecutor said his investigators have found no evidence to support the information Sussmann passed to the CIA.

Durham leveled the explosive allegation in a court filing Friday as part of the federal case against Sussmann. He is charged with lying to the FBI in September 2016 about the extent of his efforts to investigate Trump’s ties to Russia. He is also accused of withholding information from the CIA during his February 2017 meeting that undercut the theory of nefarious web links between Trump and Russia. Durham refers to the CIA as "Agency-2" throughout court filings, but news outlets have confirmed the identify of the agency.

The court filing shows the extent to which Clinton operatives went to portray Trump as an agent of Russia. Sussmann’s fellow Clinton campaign lawyer, Marc Elias, commissioned the Steele dossier, which falsely accused Trump of colluding with Russia in order to win the 2016 election. Elias briefed Clinton campaign officials, including current national security adviser Jake Sullivan, about the investigation of Trump. Sussmann and Elias also provided their findings to media outlets in order to prompt investigations into Trump.

"This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution," Trump said in a statement about the Sussmann revelation.

Sussmann’s meeting with the CIA has been previously reported, but it was not known that he provided the agency with information taken from White House web servers. According to Durham, Sussmann gave the CIA data purportedly showing a series of suspicious Internet lookups between Russian mobile phones and Trump associates at the White House. But according to Durham, the lookups were common and had also occurred during President Barack Obama’s tenure. Sussmann failed to provide the additional context about the Internet lookups to the CIA, Durham alleges.

It is unclear whether Sussmann knew that Joffe obtained the data from his company’s federal contract. Joffe served as chief technology officer at Neustar until he retired last year. He had long worked with the FBI and other federal agencies on cybersecurity issues. He received the prestigious FBI Director’s Award in 2013.

Sussmann began working with Joffe beginning in mid-2016 to investigate possible links between Donald Trump’s real estate company and Russia’s Alfa Bank. Joffe and a team of computer scientists, some working at Georgia Tech, claimed they found a covert communications channel between the Trump Organization and Alfa Bank. They gave the information to Sussmann who in turn provided it to the FBI and media outlets prior to the 2016 election. Several media outlets reported the Alfa Bank allegation, adding to the narrative that Trump had illicit contacts with Russia. It was not revealed until December 2019 that the FBI had debunked the Alfa Bank connection in early 2017.

Joffe has not been charged in the Durham probe, and his motives for accessing Trump’s data remain unclear. According to Durham, Joffe told associates that he was investigating Trump in order to please "VIPs" on the Clinton campaign. Joffe also allegedly told associates he hoped for a position in the Hillary Clinton administration.

Attorneys for Joffe and Sussmann did not respond to requests for comment. Neustar also did not respond.

Russian mercenaries with ties to Moscow's spies have increased their presence in Ukraine in recent weeks, stoking fears among some NATO members that Russia could try to engineer a pretext for an invasion, three senior Western security sources said.

They said their concerns had strengthened in recent weeks that a Russian incursion into Ukraine could be preceded by an information war, and cyber attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure such as electricity and gas networks.

The Virginia Office of the Commonwealth Attorney, in the state's Loudoun County, unknowingly hired a registered sex offender, having failed to submit the successful applicant to a background check.

The unidentified male was hired as a paralegal and fired days later.

In an interview with a local Fox News affiliate, the man, identified only as John, said he is trying to rebuild his life following five years in prison, in which he spent his time studying legal issues.

At the time of his rapid hiring, John told Fox 5 in the story posted last week, he expected a background check, but there wasn't one. Instead, John said, he was immediately given a badge and access to cases and a backlog of old files. He also said he was struggling with mental illness at the time he was downloading hundreds, then thousands of picture, including child pornography.

Just the News placed calls Monday morning to attempt to learn whether having been found guilty of such a crime automatically disqualifies such a job applicant.

The office learned of the man's criminal status when his probation officer called to confirm his employment.

"I thought it was wild, but it was also expected," a former prosecutor said about the hiring. "That office is just chaos with the high turnover, lack of experience, and poor management."

Buta Biberaj, the commonwealth attorney for the county, whose 2019 campaign received nearly $600,000 from the George Soros-funded Justice and Public Safety PAC, declined to comment on the matter specifically, citing privacy policies on personnel issues. However, her office provided a statement about the office's hiring procedures and corrective steps.

"Applicants for employment are reviewed through established Loudoun County Human Resources processes," the statement reads. "Thereafter, the applicants are referred to [the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney.] Candidates submit to a vetting process. All offers of employment are contingent on, and subject to, a background check, and a probationary period. If a candidate is deemed inappropriate, our office takes immediate action to rectify any concerns.

"They thought it was inappropriate that I would go into their office and start working with a felony offense," John also said. also said Biberaj told him it was his responsibility to disclose his offense prior to beginning a job. John says he has attempted to do so in the past, but that it has immediately disqualified him among most candidate pools.

Abstract

Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) have been described as excellent candidates to overcome antibiotic resistance. Frequently, AMPs exhibit a wide therapeutic window, with low cytotoxicity and broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against a variety of pathogens. In addition, some AMPs are also able to modulate the immune response, decreasing potential harmful effects such as sepsis. Despite these benefits, only a few formulations have successfully reached clinics. A common flaw in the druggability of AMPs is their poor pharmacokinetics, common to several peptide drugs, as they may be degraded by a myriad of proteases inside the organism. The combination of AMPs with carrier nanoparticles to improve delivery may enhance their half-life, decreasing the dosage and thus, reducing production costs and eventual toxicity. Here, we present the most recent advances in lipid andmetal nanodevices for AMP delivery, with a special focus onmetal nanoparticles and liposome formulations.

Conclusions and Future Perspectives

Worrisomely, bacteria evolve faster than we develop new antibiotics [204]. We have a potentially unexploited arsenal of antibiotics in AMPs. Nonetheless, the poor pharmacokinetics of peptide drugs is limiting their use. The combination of AMPs with drug delivery systems such as liposomes and metal nanoparticles can be fundamental for their implementation. At this point, the development of suitable nanoparticles to deliver AMPs is a major bottleneck for the implementation of AMPs in the clinical practice [137]. Indeed, the majority of nanodrugs under clinical trials are anticancer and antimicrobial, revealing the increasing interest in this matter [205].

Since 1995, up to 50 nanopharmaceuticals have received FDA approval. The search of the term ‘nano’ yields 95 active clinical trials in the Clinical Trials website (May 2019) [206]. A large tendency is for micelles and protein-based NPs, while an increased use of metal NPs can also be noticed [207]. Peptides are still one of the major pharmaceutical market targets, but their future as drugs is still fragile. Thus,the upcoming Magic Bullet might well be a nanoparticle conjugated with AMPs.

Despite the great advances in nanomedicine and its rapid growth, there are still several obstacles to their progression to clinics. A large gap between the encouraging in vitro results, the rather disappointing pre-clinical results, and the low impact in clinical settings can often be found. NP-host interactions are difficult to tackle. In pre-clinical studies, it has been pointed out that the need of immunodeficient mice for xenograft tumor transplantation may be leading us to overlook immune interactions that hamper NPs activity. Sound strategies are needed to investigate cytotoxicity, inflammatory response and immune response, not only in cell culture, but also in clinical isolates, as there is a need for further in vivo studies to ensure the safe use of NPs.Long-term toxicity studies are also needed to better understand the implications of silver and gold deposition in the human body. The use of lipids in nanoparticles offers more possibilities of drug encapsulation and increases the possibilities of acceptance as DDSs by the regulatory agencies, due to their biodegradability and common occurrence in biological systems.

Based on the findings reviewed here, research and clinics should come together to improve the potentiality of these DDSs, which may have an important role in human healthcare. It is imperative to overview the approaches of AMP-NP formulations to improve therapeutics and reduce side effects.

THEY LIED: Bombshell new research confirms that Reuters, AP misled the public about how long mRNA nanoparticles persist in the body following vaccinations

Once again, the info-gatekeepers in the mainstream media – the “fact-checkers” at the Associated Press, Reuters, etc., – have served their purpose as disinformation outlets for the Deep State regime by lying about another aspect of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines.

According to Alex Berenson, a former New York Times reporter and author who has been following and tracking COVID-19 research and data since the pandemic began, a little-noticed report in the highly respected, peer-reviewed journal Cell reveals that mRNA materials from the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines remain in lymph nodes for at least 60 days, while “free-floating spike proteins circulate at high levels in the blood after vaccination.’

That’s not what the info-gatekeepers have been telling us.

“Vaccinated people infected with variants of Sars-Cov-2 produce antibodies biased toward the original and now extinct variant, rather than the one that has actually infected them,” Berenson noted further on his SubStack account, noting that what he says is not a conspiracy theory.

He added: “Findings from a preprint in Cell, among the world’s leading scientific journals. Almost 50 researchers worldwide collaborated on the work, which Cell released online two weeks ago. The preprint has received little attention, possibly because it discusses the potential implications of its findings only obliquely. In discussing the fact that the mRNA hamper the immune response to new variants, the researchers offer extra doses as a potential solution.”

While the researchers still offer up booster vaccines as a way to “compensate for relatively decreased binding” to new variants (vaccine boosters have proven dangerous and ineffective as well, by the way), Berenson noted that, based on the research, “the preprint’s findings destroy comforting fictions about the mRNA shots, including that the body quickly destroys the genetic material in the jabs, as Reuters and other ‘fact-checkers’ have long insisted.”

That way nobody needs to pretend they’re doing news reporting instead of intelligence agency stenography and the public is clear they’re being fed whatever story about reality the C.I.A. wants them to believe.

I think it would be a lot more efficient and straightforward if all English-language news media were just run directly out of C.I.A. headquarters by agency officials in Langley, Virginia. This way news reporters could eliminate the middleman and drop the undignified charade of presenting unproven assertions by western intelligence agencies as “scoops” that they picked up from “sources”.

I mean, right now the mass media are churning out stories about “intelligence” which says Vladimir Putin has decided to invade Ukraine very soon, citing government officials and anonymous sources. We are never shown the “intelligence”, and we are never shown any evidence of its veracity; we’re simply told what opaque and unaccountable government agencies want us to believe about a foreign government.

We’re not even reminded by the publishers of these C.I.A. press releases that western intelligence agencies have a very extensive history of lying about exactly this sort of thing, and we’re certainly not informed that Kiev appears to be ramping up aggressions in eastern Ukraine.

Seriously, look at this absurd tweet by CNN’s Natasha Bertrand:

That’s not a “scoop”. That’s just a news media employee repeating something she was told either directly or indirectly by the western intelligence cartel. She’s literally just telling us what an immensely powerful spy intelligence agency told her to say. And that’s become the norm for mass media reporting on all nations the western power alliance doesn’t like, especially Russia.

So why mess around? Why not just move CNN’s office into the George Bush Center for Intelligence in Langley and have the C.I.A. just publish its reports directly from there? I hear CNN needs a new president anyway. That way nobody needs to pretend they’re doing news reporting instead of intelligence agency stenography, the general public is clear that they’re being fed whatever story about reality the C.I.A. wants them to believe, nobody feels like they’re being treated like a fool, plus it saves a commute for all the intelligence agency insiders who already work in the mass media.

Because it must get pretty tedious, right? Where instead of just having your C.I.A. employer tell you to run a story you have to go through this whole song and dance where an agency officer contacts you and says “Ooh buddy, have I got a scoop for you!” and then you type up what they say in newsy-sounding language citing “sources familiar with the matter” and present it as a news story.

Clearly that’s not news reporting. Clearly it’s nothing other than garden variety state propaganda. So why not just be forthright about it? I know the C.I.A. has a lot going on right now, but surely it can make some space in all its domestic surveillance, lying, torturing, drug trafficking, coup-staging, warmongering and assassinations for a little more state media news punditry?

It seems like only yesterday that Neil Young shook his shriveled Canadian fist at Spotify, via a now-deleted open letter to his manager and record label, and demanded they remove his work from their platform. “I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them,” explained Young. He directed his people to “Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.”

“I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform,” fumed Young. “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.”

We all know what happened next … Spotify put their exclusive Joe Rogan Experience podcast (“With an estimated 11 million listeners per episode, JRE is the world’s largest podcast and has tremendous influence,” according to yet another open letter, this one from Scientists™) on one side of the scale and Neil Young’s ever-more-irrelevant catalog on the other side. In a shocking stand for freedom of speech, Spotify called Neil Young’s bluff. And so, off he flounced.

“Spotify represents 60% of the streaming of my music to listeners around the world,” wrote Young on his website as he pulled his catalog from Spotify in late January. Yet [his label, Warner Records] stood with me, recognizing the threat the COVID misinformation on SPOTIFY posed to the world — particularly for our young people who think everything they hear on SPOTIFY is true. Unfortunately it is not.”

Young’s flounce was so impactful, it even drew other fading hippies along with it. Notably, Joni Mitchell, who is even older than Young, took her ball and went home, too. A mighty blow was struck for truth and public safety!

Except that, just this morning, I was able to pull up both these dedicated champions of the Man’s approved COVID-19 narrative on Spotify.

This isn’t Young’s first time caving to evil Spotify, either. In 2019, he pulled his music because the platform wasn’t good enough for him. But after initially complaining that Spotify was too low-fidelity for high quality sounds such as his, Young relented and returned his catalog to the platform. “I want people to hear my music no matter what they have to get through to do it. I’m just trying to make it so they hear a lot more and enjoy it a lot more, but sell it for the same price because music is music,” he said at the time.

One can only assume the Warner label is used to Young’s tantrums by now and knows how to placate him until he calms down and things go back to normal. At any rate, it’s delightful to see yesteryear’s hippies losing influence in the public square like this.

A routine inspection of a cargo container filled with fertilizer in the port of Bonaventura yielded 2.3 tonnes, a police statement said. The container had left Ecuador and was bound for Rotterdam. The value of the discovery is worth US$80 million.

A second discovery in north-west Colombia, close to the Panama border, produced another cocaine seizure of 1,056 kilograms. After what appears to be a crash landing of a small airplane, authorities discovered the large quantity on a beach close to Acandí.

According to police, the area of Acandí and the Choco province is known as a hideout for criminal organizations. The region is a central node in trafficking narcotics northbound to the United States. It is suspected that the load would be transferred to submarines bound for North America.

The seizures were a collaborative effort with the Colombian National Police and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) agents under Colombia’s new Esmeralda strategy in combating drug trafficking.

The Clan del Golfo cartel and the Segunda Marquetalia cartel are said to be behind the large-scale trafficking network. The National Police press release named both cartels in their involvement with narcotics trafficking to African and European destinations.

In 2018, the U.S. Attorney General designated Clan del Golfo as a top transnational organized threat. The highly structured criminal organization has a widespread presence across Colombian territory and uses Panama and other Central American countries as a route to import cocaine into the U.S. Its members have been indicted in the past for drug-trafficking, homicide, arms trafficking, extortion and money-laundering.

The Segunda Marquetalia cartel is made up of former FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) guerilla fighters operating along the Colombian-Venezuelan border, according to a recent InSight Crime report. In November, Secretary of State Antony Blinken identified the group as a threat to national security and the American economy, citing its potential to commit acts of terrorism.

In December, the Department of Treasury imposed a volume of counter-terrorism sanctions against members affiliated with Segunda Marquetalia.

Pfizer is collaborating with Acuitas Therapeutics to use the small company's lipid nanoparticle technology.

Keith Speights: The collaboration with Beam (NASDAQ:BEAM) wasn't Pfizer's only announcement of business development this week. The company also said that it's teaming up with Acuitas Therapeutics, which is privately held.

What do you think about this deal, Brian? Is it more or less significant than Pfizer's partnership with Beam?

Brian Orelli: Acuitas is a lipid nanoparticle technology. It's what Pfizer and BioNTech use right now for their COVID-19 vaccine, Comirnaty.

The lipid nanoparticles are what surrounds the mRNA. It protects the mRNA, but it also helps the mRNA get into the cells. Cell membranes are made of lipids. The lipid nanoparticle basically just fuses with the cell membrane and that gets the mRNA in the cell and then the mRNA are expressing proteins, and then for the COVID vaccine that's a spike protein. Then the immune system recognizes the spike protein as foreign and develops antibodies against it.

Pfizer's new deal with Acuitas is an option to license the lipid nanoparticle technology for up to 10 vaccines or therapeutic products. It seems like Pfizer's planning on developing mRNA products on its own. We talked about on Monday about how it had teamed up with BioNTech for a shingles vaccine. We hypothesized that meant that Pfizer maybe wasn't as interested in going it alone on mRNA products like it had previously stated.

But this deal definitely implies that it's planning on moving forward on its own with mRNA therapeutics or vaccines. That's maybe my final note would be just that maybe Pfizer's just keeping its options open.

But I found it really interesting that the deal notes that the lipid nanoparticles can be used for vaccines or therapeutics. We obviously have proof of concept for vaccines. But I think therapeutics is a wide-open opportunity, but it's unproven at this point.

Speights: I'm going to put you on the spot here, Brian. Pfizer has these two deals that it had announced, one with Acuitas, one with the Beam Therapeutics. Which of the two do you predict is going to be the bigger factor for Pfizer over the next 10 years?

Orelli: I'm going to go with Acuitas because I think the 10 mRNA vaccines or therapeutics, I think are potentially bigger opportunities and less risky than the three programs for Beam. Although we don't even know what the candidates are, what they are going to target.

It's a little hard to guess. In both cases, I guess we don't know what the targets are, but I'm going to guess that the Beam is probably going to go after some rare disease. Because those are most likely going to be an inherited disease because we know that they're trying to fix mutations, and so that will be my guess, is that the 10 mRNA vaccines or therapeutics is probably going to be more valuable to Pfizer than the three rare disease drugs. Assuming that's what they are.

Last January, when Defamation superlawyer, Lin Wood released video testimony from a whistleblower with several decades in the Intelligence Community and in the military, in which he talks about the sheer evil of Chief Justice John Roberts and former Vice President Mike Pence, it didn’t take me long to realize that this witness was somebody who I had been following on Twitter called @JohnHereToHelp – and that I had already figured out that he was the same secret witness who had come forward in 2018 on the second anniversary of Seth Rich’s murder, with his unexpected testimony that Rod Rosenstein had ordered the hit.

Back in 2018, this was not what anybody expected to hear. John Podesta’s references to “wetworks” in the WikiLeaks emails caused many to assume that Seth Rich’s murder was yet another in a long line of Clintoncides but here was this guy, claiming that Rod Rosenstein was behind it, the motive being to prevent the truth from coming out about the DNC email breach. He said it would have revealed that the DOJ and the Republicans had been accessing and altering the DNC’s emails throughout the course of the Obama administration. It would also reveal that the Rod Rosenstein’s Maryland Attorney General’s Office began spying on Hillary’s private server almost as soon as it went live.

At the time, it was the height of the Mueller Investigation hysteria. His story didn’t help Trump and it went over the Democrats’ heads so it quickly disappeared. However, I have found his information on Twitter and elsewhere to be consistent, highly-granular and believable, if frequently shocking and horrifying.

Though he has tweeted hints about this before, this interview with Stew Peters marks the first time that he reveals his identity on audio as one Dr Jonathan McGreevey, in the first of a 4-part series of gob-smacking segments posted to Rumble yesterday.

When asked by Peters if he wants to name anyone who coordinated the events of January 6th, he responds, “Everybody up to Pence had a part in it. I mean, he’s manipulated, he’s controlled. He’s always kow-towed to Pelosi his entire career. I told them prior to the Certification [of the 2020 Election], he wasn’t going to do it. He couldn’t, as he’s been paid-off. He’s now being promoted for a presidential run, which I’m looking forward to (laughs).”

When Peters asks point blank if Pence is involved in child sex trafficking and if Pence is a pedophile, he responds,”Yes. Yes, he is.”

McGreevey then addresses Pence directly, saying, “The young man that I mentioned in Lin Wood’s interview – I’m speaking to Pence, right now – let’s test Mike Pence’s memory: ‘Hey, Mike! Do you know, when you betrayed Trump and the entire country just a few weeks ago? Probably not. Do you remember a young man named Jeremy from about six years ago? Because we do! And we know where he lives – and he remembers you! He’s 20 now but I’m really looking forward to your presidential run! They say karma wears silver boy shorts, but whatever.”

Peters then asks McGreevey from his perspective, as a Constitutional scholar, given that Biden stole the election and that he is not the legitimate president, whether any of Biden’s actions, Executive Orders and legislation that has passed since January 20th, if any of these are legal or official?

“No. It carries no weight, from the People, from the Constitution or anything. It’s like I said, if I broke into a bank and took over and bribed the guards and threatened everyone, it doesn’t make me the Bank President. I can’t just open the vault and change anything I want. Nothing’s legal. They could change the law, because they know that it would have a lasting effect, even if President Trump was back tomorrow. It’s going to have a lasting effect. This is why certain persons are not going to the Southern Border. It’s not a crisis. It’s exactly what they want. And they want more, more, more and there’s a ton of money going south to Central and South America to transport these people in, from all over…They’re not walking, they’re being transported. It’s a non-stop human trafficking train coming in, because this is what they want.

Peters asks, “Who are the people running the show and handing out orders?”

“Pelosi’s at the top. She did not become a legitimate Speaker, as I mentioned. In 2018, they had to get balance on President Trump, so they cheated enough to get seats to control Congress. She’s been an illegitimate Speaker, the BS impeachments were all illegitimate, so is the ‘Russian Collusion’.”

Peters asks, “Is it common knowledge in Congress, is it common knowledge among senators, is it common knowledge throughout our entire government that this election was stolen and that Nancy Pelosi is an illegitimate Speaker and that Mike Pence is a pedophile and that Justice Roberts is a pedophile? Is all of this stuff common knowledge by those so-called elected representatives, by politicians, by people in power? Does everybody know this to be true and correct?”

McGreevey answers, “Yes. They know. That’s the way they want it. What good is a wild card in there? What good is it to elect someone that you don’t know, that you don’t control?…It’s easier if you control them. And they’re controlling themselves by their own disgusting behavior, so you control them, now. So when you need something signed, you need a decision in court and it’s important to you, you don’t have to make any effort. You don’t have to spend money and buy them. You are in control, they’re in your pocket. You just don’t have to remind them, you just put it through.”

Peters asks, “So 100% of Washington, Republicans, alike; America-First so-called Patriots, all of them know?”

McGreevey says, “It’s obvious. Anyone with common sense can see it. And it’s wrong.”

Peters then asks McGreevey what he knows about January 6th. He replies that the Democrats didn’t expect they would pull off the fraud. “They knew they could pull off the phony numbers, that was all set up but they didn’t think anyone would accept it. They thought the fraud would be uncovered quickly. They thought that President Trump would not leave…They couldn’t believe that he was leaving. They were absolutely stunned the Patriots didn’t take to the streets and shut down the country.”

Peters says, “Two FBI agents and a Secret Service agent corroborated the fact that this thing was 100% a set-up. Who set it up?”

“Pelosi,” he replies. “She had a lot of help. There are FBI agents all over January 6th.”

In addition, since he is writing about Officers that really exist, it seems the military would have something to say about the "fictional" use of real officers. They'd close him down.

Russia Collusion Hoaxer Jake Sullivan Can’t Be Trusted To Evaluate Threats After Fabricating Them For Political Gain

New filings from Special Counsel John Durham on Friday revealed that Hillary Clinton’s campaign lawyers paid a tech company to “infiltrate” servers at Trump Tower and access private information that could be used against the Republican candidate by the Democrats, corporate press, and even the federal government.

In a scandal “bigger than Watergate,” Clinton’s Democrat, anti-Trump cronies took the information garnered through covert mining and orchestrated the lie that then-presidential candidate Donald Trump was secretly communicating with the Russian Alfa Bank. This lie was peddled to federal law enforcement agencies such as the FBI by Clinton’s allies as further justification to formally spy on Trump and his campaign.

Several Democrat operatives were involved in the operation to undermine Trump, including Michael Sussmann, who was recently indicted for lying to the FBI about his role in the Russian collusion hoax, and Marc Elias, who has preoccupied himself with meddling in more elections. While Sussmann and especially Elias remain loyal to Clinton and refuse to budge over her scandalous attempts to secure the presidency, other prominent Clinton allies have moved on to the Biden administration.

President Joe Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan was another key player in promoting the Russian collusion hoax, and he should be fired for scamming Americans on Clinton’s behalf.

Sullivan, then-senior policy adviser to Hillary for America, boosted the Alfa Bank allegations with hopes that Clinton would win the 2016 election.

In a press release touting the bogus story about a Trump Tower server communicating with Russia, Sullivan claimed that the information, which we now know was gathered by a firm employed by Clinton’s team, “could be the most direct link yet between Donald Trump and Moscow.”

“It certainly seems the Trump Organization felt it had something to hide, given that it apparently took steps to conceal the link when it was discovered by journalists,” Sullivan said in a statement amplified by Clinton on Twitter.

Even after DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz admitted in 2019 that “there were no such links” between Trump and the Russian bank, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller also cast doubt on the allegations, Sullivan refused to admit that he was not only wrong but a primary fabulist in spreading the Alfa Bank lie.

“I wasn’t surprised because what we learned during the campaign was that very serious computer science experts, people who work closely with the United States government, had uncovered this secret hotline between the Alfa Bank — the Russian bank — and the Trump Organization,” Sullivan said on CNN. “Now, of course, we didn’t know for sure if, in fact, that were the case, but we knew it should be investigated. And we knew that, given how serious these computer scientists were, they weren’t just making up crackpot theories.”

Sullivan, a Steele dossier truther, used his ties with the corporate media to spread falsehoods about Trump and Russia. He also repeated the narrative for years without pushback and readily participated in the coordinated effort by Clinton and Democrat operatives to undermine Trump. Despite his meddling in the 2016 election by spreading actual misinformation, Sullivan was rewarded by Democrats with a prominent position in the Biden White House.

The U.S. suspended all imports of Mexican avocados that could send prices to near-record highs in the coming weeks on diminishing supplies if the ban remains in place.

The surprise halt comes as the price of a 20-pound box of avocados from the state of Michoacan, Mexico (the central hub of Mexican avocado production) is approximately $26.89, the highest ever for this time of year with data going back to 1998.

This year alone, avocado prices are up 31%. The import ban came on the eve of the Super Bowl and may send spot prices to record highs on the prospects of tighter supplies.

Supply woes aren’t expected to affect Super Bowl consumption since those avocados had already been shipped, but there are concerns disruptions could be seen in the weeks ahead (if the import ban remains in place).

The ban also comes as the Avocados From Mexico association unveiled its Super Bowl ad that will be shown during the game.

Violence against USDA inspectors is nothing new since the Michoacan state is known for cartel turf wars. In 2019, a team of inspectors was threatened by a cartel.

Women sexually harassed by former High Court judge Dyson Heydon receive historic settlement

Three women who were sexually harassed by former High Court justice Dyson Heydon have secured a historic compensation payout.

The women's lawyer, Josh Bornstein, said he believed it was the first settlement under the Sex Discrimination Act for findings of sexual harassment against a serving federal judge.

The High Court apologised publicly to the trio — Rachel Patterson Collins, Chelsea Tabart and Alex Eggerking — as well as to three other unnamed women in 2020 after an independent investigation, led by Vivienne Thom, upheld their allegations.

Five of the women had worked as associates to Mr Heydon, while the other had worked for a different High Court justice.

After Dr Thom completed her inquiry, Chief Justice Susan Kiefel said the findings were of "extreme concern" to all of the court's justices and staff.

"We're ashamed that this could have happened at the High Court of Australia," she said in a statement.

Today, Mr Bornstein said negotiations since then had been delayed by the case's complexity and "an unfortunate delay by the Commonwealth".

“After their experience of working in the High Court, Rachael, Chelsea and Alex have been unable to pursue the legal careers that they aspired to," he said.

"Indeed, they were so severely impacted by what happened that it took them years to come forward to pursue this matter."

The terms of the settlement remain confidential.

However, Mr Bornstein said his clients were relieved and happy with the outcome.

"They have asked me to convey their strong conviction that women should not feel ashamed to pursue financial settlements in sexual harassment cases, because sexual harassment will only start to recede when there is a clear recognition that it has a substantial cost to organisations and individuals who are implicated."

Mr Heydon, now 78, has previously denied "any allegation of sexual harassment or any offence".

He was a High Court justice from 2003 to 2013, when he reached the mandatory retirement age.

New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet has admitted the leak of more than 500,000 addresses, including Defence sites, a missile maintenance unit and domestic violence shelters through a government website "shouldn't have happened".

The hundreds of thousands of locations were collected by the NSW Customer Services Department through its QR code registration system and made public through a government website.

The locations, seen in a dataset obtained by 9News, were businesses or organisations which registered as wanting to comply by COVID-Safe directions.

Konstantin Kozlovsky, the leader of the hacking group Lurk, was ordered by a court in Yekaterinburg to spend 14 years at a "maximum security prison colony" after the group used Trojan malware to steal more than 1.2 billion rubles ($15.6 million) between December 2015 and April 2016.

He was arrested in 2016 and charged with illegally accessing computer information, organizing a criminal association, and with cyber fraud. Others members of the group were handed sentences of between five and a half years and 13 years, RBC reported.

The youngest member of the group had her sentencing postponed until she reaches the age of 14.

During a hearing about his arrest in August 2017, Kozlovsky said he had been recruited by Russia's Federal Security Service, known as the FSB, to hack the DNC and steal emails linked to former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, according to Russian news site The Bell.

An audio recording and minutes from the hearing were posted on Kozlovsky's Facebook page at the time, according to the news outlet.

According to Interfax, Kozlovsky's statements that he allegedly stole data from U.S. government servers using malicious software weren't confirmed during the trial.

"During examinations, there were no facts presented that the U.S. government's network infrastructure was infected. The gang members themselves have never discussed this issue in the network correspondence available in the case file. Except for Kozlovsky, none of the members of the group confirm any computer attacks on U.S. networks or influence on the U.S. presidential election in 2016," a source told the news agency.

The source added that Kozlovsky's case didn't establish a connection between Kozlovsky and FSB cybersecurity agent Dmitry Dokuchaev—who Kozlovsky claimed was his supervisor—or any other employees of the department. Dokuchaev, was convicted of treason following Kozlovsky's allegations.

U.S. intelligence services have determined that the Kremlin interfered in the 2016 presidential election and stole emails from the DNC. In 2016, cybersecurity company CrowdStrike found that hackers associated with the FSB and Russian military intelligence infiltrated the DNC's emails.

"CrowdStrike stands fully by its analysis and findings identifying two separate Russian intelligence-affiliated adversaries present in the DNC network in May 2016," the company said in a statement at the time.

Fish genetically modified to glow different colors have escaped farms in Brazil and could disrupt biodiversity in the country's Atlantic Forest region.

A new study published in Studies on Neotropical Fauna and Environment examined the presence of so-called "transgenic" zebrafish in south-eastern Brazil and found the animals reproducing in waters close to nearby fish farms.

Transgenic zebrafish are bred with tailored genes that can give them various characteristics—in this case, a glowing effect under certain light conditions. The genetically engineered animals are popular in aquariums and on the commercial fish market, with glowing zebrafish even trademarked as a commercial product called Glofish.

Yet while the fish are bred in captivity, including in south-eastern Brazil, some have managed to escape into the surrounding countryside and take their genetically engineered genes with them.

"They are in the first stages of invasion with potential to keep going," study author André Magalhães from the Federal University of São João said in a statement.

Magalhães and his colleagues who worked on the paper studied the biology of the animals at the headwater creeks near an ornamental aquaculture center in Muriaé, north of Rio. The fish are farmed there and researchers suspect the animals escaped their commercial confinement.

They reported that the animals were thriving in the area. Their diet included aquatic insects, while the animals were found to be breeding too. "Breeding females and males were found at small body sizes, indicating early maturation," one line from the paper said.

Zebrafish are native to southeast Asia and have been popular with geneticists since the 1990s, with various attributes—including an externally developing embryo—making them popular choices for scientists studying gene analysis and manipulation.

Zebrafish made to glow different colors shot to prominence as a commercial success recently, with breeders including the Glofish company marketing them as an attractive addition to aquariums. Typical zebrafish are modified by scientists who added genes from glowing animals like jellyfish or coral to make the fish luminescent in the same way.

Their presence on the edge of one of Brazil's most biodiverse regions in the Atlantic Forest is now of concern because if glowing zebrafish succeed in spreading further they could disrupt finely balanced ecosystems nearby.

"[U]tilization of best management practices (e.g. screens on outlets), not using unapproved genetically modified organisms in aquaculture, and awareness with fish farmers about transgenic animals, are suggested to avoid new introductions," the paper said.

Tensions between the two countries are running high, with Washington warning that Russia could attack Ukraine at any time. Moscow denies any such intention, despite massing more than 100,000 troops near Ukraine’s borders, and has accused Western governments of hysteria.

Interfax quoted Gadzhimagomedov as saying Russia was able to adequately counter the U.S. fleet in the Black and Baltic Seas but did not have enough ships and plans to do so in the far east at the moment.

All of Russia’s military fleets have been carrying out exercises in recent weeks across vast areas including parts of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and the Mediterranean.
