After listening to the State of the Union address, Americans know why the latest Reuters poll has President Joe Biden at 41 percent approval.

Vice President Kamala Harris polls even lower - despite the obsequious efforts of the most biased media in history that has, in effect, merged with the Democratic Party.

The nation was reminded again why only 37% of Biden's own party want him to run again.

Only a quarter of Americans believe the country is headed in the right direction under his leadership.

Given all that, what could a president possibly tell a nation when he entered office inheriting a 1.4% inflation rate only to spike it to 7%? How did Americans' 30-year mortgages of 2.7% soar to 6.5% in less than two years?

How does a president explain that eggs climbed to $7 a dozen, or a thin steak hit $15 a pound, or a sheet of plywood reached $95?

How does a president explain to Americans that gas averaged $2.39 a gallon when he took office and, even after draining the strategic petroleum reserve, it is still $3.50 a gallon - and recently spiked at $5 a gallon in many states.

Can Biden explain why once affordable, or even cheap natural gas more than tripled in price in less than a year?

What can a president say when in his first two years over 5 million foreign nationals poured into the United States - all illegally across a nonexistent border?

How could Biden explain the humiliation in Afghanistan?

The draining of our arsenal of key weaponry?

Or the inability to take down a communist Chinese spy balloon when it first brazenly floated above America - photographing military bases and missile sites as it crossed the entire United States with impunity?

We know the answers to all these questions.

Biden simply did on Tuesday in his State of the Union address what he always does: misinform, ignore, and attack!

Misinform. After sending inflation, energy, and interest rates to astronomical rates, and then seeing them momentarily taper off a bit, Biden declares that he "lowered" these indices that remain far higher than they were when he entered office.

He brags of a low unemployment rate. But Biden never discloses the better indicator of the labor participation rate that has declined under his tenure - or the fact he inherited a growing economy naturally rebounding on autopilot from a disastrous 2-year COVID lockdown.

There is no southern border. Biden destroyed it. He greenlighted over 5 million illegal aliens to enter the United States without audit or legality - even as smuggled Mexican drugs kill 100,000 Americans each year.

He never will concede he stopped the building of the wall. He omits that he demonized innocent border patrol officers. He nullified the immigration laws he swore to uphold.

Biden ignores the $4 trillion he has borrowed in just two years to inflate the national debt, now on its way to over $32 trillion this year. The middle class has bled 20-30% of their 401K retirement plans representing years' worth of lost hard-earned savings.

Yet Biden promised hundreds of billions of dollars more in borrowing with no idea of how to pay back the already crushing national debt that will incur $450 billion just to service this year alone.

He skipped over how he demolished U.S. deterrence abroad after the greatest humiliation in modern military history, with the flight from Kabul and the abandonment of billions of dollars in military equipment.

He never mentions that Russia went into Ukraine because Russian President Vladimir Putin saw no downside after this debacle in Afghanistan, or that Biden's own inept remarks about not worrying over a Russia invasion of Ukraine if it just proved to be "minor" probably played some role.

Attack! Remember Biden comes to life only when he smears his enemies while calling for "unity" and "bipartisanship."

Only then his voice rises, his brow furrows, and his face reddens. He claims that "the rich" avoid "paying their fair share," even as he knows that just one percent of the country pays over 40% of all income taxes.

Biden somehow demagogued the lethal violence of Black police officers against a Black victim in Memphis into evidence of America's supposed racism. He smeared all law enforcement - even as inner-city violent and hate crimes soared as never before.

He utterly lied about Republicans demanding a sunsetting of Social Security and Medicare.

He beat the dead horse of January 6 (while insanely connecting it to the attack on Paul Pelosi!), despite the stacked congressional investigative committee and the suppression of critical video evidence and email communications involving security lapses.

In sum, it was the same old, same old dishonest Biden: misinform, ignore, and attack - and then call for "unity," as the country collectively slides into ruin.

Five Chinese Nationals Caught Entering US Illegally Through Mexico

Five Chinese nationals were recently placed under US Border Patrol custody after they illegally crossed into the United States through Mexico.

Fox News Correspondent Bill Melugin broke the news on Twitter and stated five Chinese nationals crossed illegally into Mission, Texas where they would later turn themselves into Border Patrol authorities.

Melugin would write Border Patrol agents in recent months have seen an “uptick” of Chinese nationals crossing into the US through Mexico.

A week earlier, the Texas Department of Public Safety apprehended three Chinese nationals after they illegally cross into the United States through the southern border.

The three Chinese nationals reportedly paid human smugglers $35,000 each to help guide them into Mission, Texas.

Queensland government accused of 'rigging' consultation for new laws that make officially changing sex easier

The state government has been accused of conducting a botched consultation process over proposed new laws where a person would no longer be required to undergo gender reassignment surgery to change their sex on their birth certificate.

An outspoken women’s advocate is accusing the Queensland Government of conducting a rigged consultation process over proposed new laws – making it easier for people to officially switch sex.

The Births Deaths and Marriages Registration Bill 2022 was introduced to Parliament in December last year.

Under the draft legislation, a person will no longer be required to undergo gender reassignment surgery to change their sex on their birth certificate.

Instead – they’ll need to provide a supporting statement from an adult who has known the applicant for at least 12 months.

Children under the age of 16 – seeking to change or remove their sex from their birth certificate - will require parental consent or a court order.

This would bring Queensland in line with all other jurisdictions - except New South Wales - who have introduced similar laws.

Equality Australia Legal Director Khassam Ghassan Kassisieh supports the proposed laws.

“What they do is give trans and gender diverse people a simple piece of paper so that when they apply for jobs, apply to study or seek to access services they have the simple dignity of knowing and the piece of mind of knowing that they will have the same ability to access those services and opportunities as everyone else," she said.

Following its introduction to Parliament, the bill was referred to the Legal Affairs and Safety Committee for further consideration.

It held a public hearing on January 24 and public briefing on January 30 - after receiving almost 400 public submissions.

Fourteen witness groups appeared – of which more than half were in favour of the bill. Sall Grover, CEO of Giggle and a Petition Partner of Women’s Forum Australia – spoke at the hearing.

Ms Grover claims the consultation process undertaken by the State Government has been rigged.

“No it hasn’t been impartial and the reason for that is because first of all having voices that disagree with the bill has been an afterthought," she said.

Claim about vaccines administered 'via air' is recycled nonsense

A decade-old conspiracy theory alleging that the Australian government had approved the use of "chemtrails" to vaccinate the population forcibly has resurfaced with a fresh COVID-19 twist.

In dozens of posts across social media, a link to a webpage belonging to the Department of Health's Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) has been shared alongside claims that vaccines spread "via air" have been approved for use.

The link leads to a list of licence applications for "dealings involving an intentional release … into the environment" of genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

"NEXT LEVEL AUSTRALIA!!! WE KNEW IT WAS COMING … BUT VACCINATION VIA AIR IS HERE!" a post accompanying the link reads.

"Australia Have Approved the License Application From Big Pharma Company PaxVax That Will Allow Them To Intentionally Release a GMO Vaxxine Consisting of Live Bacteria Into Queensland Skies, via the GEO-ENGINEERING program aka = Chemtrails."

Some variations of the claim also feature a video in which an unnamed man singles out a licence on the OGTR webpage relating to a COVID-19 vaccine.

"They have been spraying a vaccine into the air for COVID-19," the man says.

But those suggestions are fundamentally flawed.

A spokesman for the Department of Health confirmed to CheckMate that "the Gene Technology Regulator has never approved, or been asked to approve, aerial distribution of any GMOs".

As made clear elsewhere on the OGTR's website, an "intentional release" of a GMO into the environment does not mean substances are being "sprayed" into the air.

Most licences issued by the regulator allow people to work with GMOs for scientific research in "laboratories, greenhouses, insectaries and other specialised facilities".

"Licences for all other work with GMOs are called a 'dealing involving intentional release into the environment' (DIR)," the regulator's website explains. "The GMOs are not contained within a facility."

"Dealings" is the legal name for the list of approved activities with a GMO, the website states.

Included under the DIR category are genetically modified crops grown in a field, genetically modified medicines and vaccines tested in a clinical trial and genetically modified medicines and vaccines for sale in a pharmacy or chemist.

Realtor.com Reports Weekly Active Inventory Up 70% YoY; New Listings Down 11% YoY

Active inventory growth continued to climb with for-sale homes up 70% above one year ago. Inventories of for-sale homes rose again, but climbed at a slightly slower yearly pace than last week.

• New listings–a measure of sellers putting homes up for sale–were again down, this week by 11% from one year ago. (the denial phase of lowered pricing.."I'll just wait until prices are higher"..unfortunately they will go higher once the FED pivots-which will be before the election season shifts into a higher gear and not "well into 2024 as the various FED heads keep saying)

NOTE: The release says active inventory is up 70% YoY, but the data shows up 79% (cap#2 based on data). In early 2022, inventory was declining rapidly, so the year-over-year change is up sharply.

An interesting note this week is that new listings were only down 11% from a year ago. This is a significant change from December when new listings were down 21% year-over-year according to Realtor.com, and down 21.5% in the local markets.
