The last 6 seconds show Jacob Chansley in the gallery of the one chambers (Senate?, also, note the clock reads 2:53…have checked other sources that Chansley was in the building as early as 1:30 PM).

 

What is weird is that a photographer is also in the gallery with him. Massive lens! Just like a photo shoot.

 

TinEye verifies that many of the press-posted photos I queried about are from Gettys Images filed on January 6, 2023. By guess who…Win MacNamee, the absolute best veteran photographer Gettys has. The files and his gear/clothing/hair style can be cross-referenced.

 

Now, I know he covers DC, and his father was also in the business. Yet, what business is that…FalseFlagFoto, Inc.?

 

How was MacNamee in place for an insurrection that was supposed to be organic? Why was he following Jacob Chansley around…IN the US Capitol?

Cloudflare, the leading Internet performance and security company, today announced that it raised $150 million in its latest round of funding, led byFranklin Templeton.

The company is also announcing two appointments to its board of directors, Stan Meresman, former CFO of Silicon Graphics, andMaria Eitel, founder and co-chair of the Nike Foundation who is married toPeter Buffett,son of WARREN BUFFETT.

 

Eitel served as the president and CEO and is now the co-chair of the Nike Foundation and chair of Girl Effect, an independent nonprofit created by Nike in 2008 to focus on ending poverty globally. Eitel joined Nike in 1998 as its first vice president of corporate responsibility. She previously ran European corporate affairs for Microsoft and worked in media affairs at the White House, where she was a special assistant to President George H.W. Bush.

This was the last post on /qrb/ on 8chan before a 93 day deplatforming starting on midnight on Aug 5, 2019.

I strongly suspect 8 was targeted by Eitel and the powers behind her, such that Prince was forced to suddenly "change his mind" about keeping 8chan as a client.

This DIG never happened bc of that.

 

Cloudflare is relevant now because Prince/Cloudflare is in on a key advisory board to CISA formed in Dec 2021. CISA supposedly ensures US election "security" (but is strongly influenced by all the major election systems such as Dominion, ES&S, etc. [see Patel Patriot #5: Part 5 - The Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency & Dominion Voting Systems https://www.devolution.link/]

In the HBO documentary, Gilbertson said "I was just following the crowd."

There are two law schools in Colorado and each has just one full professor who is a Black woman. And those two women are a couple. A power couple, you could say.

 

Professor Suzette Malveaux is a civil rights attorney who teaches at CU Boulder and directs the Byron R. White Center for the Study of American Constitutional law. Her name has recently come up as a potential nominee for a federal judgeship.

 

'' Professor Catherine Smith teaches at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she also used to serve as the Associate Dean for Diversity Equity, and Inclusion.''

 

Smith and Malveaux laugh when they say they “didn’t get the memo” on the historical rivalry between their schools.

 

“We don't take the comparison or the competition too seriously,” Malveaux said. “We try to support each other and our institutions as much as possible.”

 

“We both love Colorado and we love the students that come to both law schools,” Smith added. “So we very much see it as a win-win.”

 

Collectively Malveaux and Smith have broad legal expertise from employment and LGBTQ rights to the constitutional rights of children. They have both testified and written about legislation — from police accountability to hair discrimination.

 

The experience of being the only Black women who are full professors at their law schools bonds with them, as well.

 

“When you are the only one, you can feel that acutely. You want to feel like there are folks in the building who understand your journey, and the perspective and experience that you have,” Malveaux said.

 

Malveaux’s parents grew up in the segregated South.

 

“My dad was racially profiled when I was really little,” she said. “And you don't forget those kinds of things when you are feeling threatened and scared.”

 

The encounter happened on one of her family’s annual road trips from Maryland to Louisiana, to visit her grandparents.

Malveaux broke the news to staff in a note obtained by The Post, in which she said she approached CNN in the fall of 2022 “about focusing on my family and possibly pursuing some new opportunities,” and that the network “supported me.”

 

“I’m thrilled one of those projects will be a collaboration with a great-grandson of Nelson Mandela to tell stories and spotlight communities in conflict poised to find peace. Stay tuned,” she continued.

“Throughout Suzanne’s 20-year career at CNN, she has brought historic interviews to our audiences, broken news from around the world, and mentored countless journalists across multiple bureaus,” a CNN rep said. “We are excited for her and her next chapter and wish her all the best.”

 

Malveaux is the latest CNN veteran to depart the network, which is in the process of restructuring after a hefty round of layoffs in early December that left hundreds of staffers jobless.

 

Cuts included prominent CNN correspondents like Barbara Starr, Alison Kosik, Martin Savidge, Alex Field, Mary Ann Fox, and Chris Cillizza, among others.

 

A rep told the Washington Post, which first reported the news, that Malveaux’s departure was unrelated to the layoffs.

 

Malveaux said in her note that she contemplated her future during a recent bout with COVID, her second. “There is nothing like being quarantined in your basement to help one gain some momentum from contemplating to actually exploring what lies ahead,” she wrote.

 

During her career at CNN, Malveaux spent 10 years covering the White House, as well as anchoring shows and reporting from Ukraine and other global locations. She also reported on her late mother’s battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which she highlighted in her note as an important personal accomplishment.

Perhaps the only thing uglier than the Stanford Law School building is the events that took place there on Thursday. The Stanford Federalist Society’s event with Kyle Duncan, a judge on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, was disrupted by a mob of unruly law students and a Stanford DEI Dean who prevented the judge from speaking entirely. The Federalist Society routinely invites Circuit Court judges to give talks on a variety of legal topics. This time Duncan spoke on “Covid, Guns, and Twitter.” Stanford President Marc Tessier-Lavigne and Stanford Law School Dean Jenny Martinez rightly apologized to Judge Duncan on Saturday, stating that “what happened was inconsistent with our policies on free speech.” But at the center of the debacle was not the group of unruly law students, but Stanford Law School’s own Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Tirien Steinbach. After constant heckling, Judge Duncan asked for an administrator, hoping to calm the unruly crowd. However, Dean Steinbach took the podium with a notebook and prepared remarks, ready to slam Duncan as well. “Your work has caused harm… and I know that must be uncomfortable to hear,” she told him. This time, when Judge Duncan tried to interject, the students shouted, “let her finish!” and Steinbach finished her speech with ease. Steinbach stated her supposed commitment to free speech: “Me and many people in this administration do absolutely believe in free speech,” (note how she said many people and not all people, perhaps a Freudian slip), “We believe that it is necessary. We believe that the way to address speech that feels abhorrent, that feels harmful, that literally denies the humanity of people—that one way to do that is with more speech and not less. And not to shut you down or censor you.”

 

Yet Steinbach did censor Judge Duncan. She even sympathized with the movement to end free speech on campus—protected by the First Amendment and the Leonard Law, something one would expect a Law School Dean to know—saying, “I understand why people feel like the harm is so great that we might need to reconsider those policies. And luckily they’re in a school where they can learn the advocacy skills to advocate for those changes.” And she ended by encouraging the protests: “I’m really grateful to be in this institution. I look out and I don’t ask ‘what is going on here?’ I look out and I say, ‘I'm glad this is going on here.’” The biggest perpetrator of the incident was not the group of students, but the Stanford administrator who actively encouraged students to go against Stanford’s free speech policy. Stanford’s apology to Duncan stated the obvious: this shouldn’t have happened. Judge Duncan graciously accepted the apology. In doing so, he reiterated that he never should have been shouted down in the first place and that staff members who should have enforced university policies failed to do so. He reiterated how poor the behavior of Steinbach was, stating that “the administrators’ behavior was completely at odds with the law school’s mission of training future members of the bench and bar.” The apology also said that Stanford would take steps to ensure this does not happen again. However, it is unclear what Stanford plans to do to prevent such disruption in the future. Firing Dean Steinbach is a good start.

 

The university’s apology will be completely meaningless unless concrete actions are taken to rid the administration of anti-speech zealots. Stanford claims that they “are taking steps to ensure that something like this does not happen again.” If Stanford cares about free speech, it must fire any administrator who actively encourages these unruly actions against it. Someone who is so eager, at the behest of an unruly mob, to shut down free speech, which Stanford itself considers “a bedrock principle for the law school, the university, and a democratic society,” has no place as a Stanford dean. She helped engineer chaos with her email before the event, delivered prepared remarks interrupting his speech, took the spotlight for herself, and has shown no remorse since.

 

Indeed, we at the Review are concerned about what example this sets for these future lawyers, judges, and Supreme Court Justices. Amidst the screaming and heckling, crude signs read “Judge Duncan can’t find the clit.” Meanwhile, Steinbach seemed to have little objection. “I’m glad this is going on here,” she said. If these law students are to be trained for bench and bar, it certainly should be with a deep respect for the bedrock principle of free speech. Steinbach’s actions not only degrade the principles of free speech but degrade the prestige and reputation of Stanford Law School itself.

Former Munich Security Conference chair suggests way to resolve Ukrainian conflict

Wolfgang Ischinger proposed that work to thrash out a peace initiative could be done through a contact group

 

Wolfgang Ischinger, the former chairman of the Munich Security Conference, has argued that an international contact group should be set up with a view to resolving the Ukraine crisis, with the US, the UK, France and Germany making up its core. Now is the time to start a serious conversation about ways to secure peace, he wrote in an op-ed for Germany’s Der Tagesspiegel newspaper on Sunday.

 

Ischinger, who presided over the annual security convention from 2008 until 2022, opined that “it is high time that we put in motion a peace process for Ukraine.” He acknowledged that critical voices in the West are posing questions that are not “completely unjustified,” such as how much longer governments are planning to pump the Eastern European country with weapons.

 

With this in mind, the veteran German diplomat called for the “immediate” creation of a special contact group that would function alongside the existing Ramstein Air Base group, which helps coordinate defense aid to Ukraine.

 

Such a congregation of world powers, according to Ischinger, should be given a mandate to thrash out multiple settlement scenarios and options, as well as to prepare draft agreements so that, if and when Kiev and Moscow decide to sit down at the negotiating table, there is already some groundwork in place for a peace process.

 

In addition to the four mentioned Western powers, the contact group envisaged by the German politician would also involve nations like Canada, Spain, Poland, Italy, the Baltic states, as well as the UN, EU, OSCE and NATO. To make it more representative, invitations should also be extended to the likes of Brazil, India and China, Ischinger added. Moscow admits it ‘doesn’t know’ who attacked Nord Stream

A full investigation, not ludicrous leaks to the press, is needed in the high-profile case, Nikolay Patrushev said

 

Russia does not know who blew up the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines last year, and wants to see a thorough investigation to get the answer, its most senior security official has said.

 

Nikolay Patrushev, secretary of Russia's Security Council, also dismissed a claim that Western intelligence services suspect a private “pro-Ukrainian group” of blowing up the pipelines as being meant for people lacking in critical thinking skills.

 

“The narrative that the US and the UK were not involved in this terrorist attack is apparently pushedin the hope that the readers cannot think logically,” he said.

 

Patrushev was referring to a series of articles in the Western press, claiming that the undersea energy links, built to directly supply Russian natural gas to Western Europe, may have been sabotaged by a shady group possibly funded by a Ukrainian businessman. Unnamed intelligence officials claimed that the people behind the operation were not linked to either the US or Ukrainian governments. The pipelines were ruptured by powerful explosions in late September.

 

In an interview with the Russian newspaper Argumenti i Fakti, published on Monday, Patrushev expressed doubt that the group described by the media could even exist, explaining that such acts require special equipment and training, which might be expected from a national black ops team.

 

“TheUS and Britainhave such units. Other NATO states use combat divers for sabotage operations too, but only if the leading member of the alliance, which dictates its agenda, gives its permission and support,” Patrushev stated.

 

Only a thorough impartial investigation based on evidence can put an end to the controversy, he added, arguing that “declarations of subjective one-sided versions explain nothing.”

 

Weeks before the claim was floated, based on anonymous intelligence services, veteran investigative reporter Seymour Hersh alleged that the Nord Stream sabotage was conducted by a US-Norwegian team on the orders of US President Joe Biden. Both nations have denied the allegations.

 

Hersh said Washington wanted to lock in German support for its anti-Russian campaign over the Ukraine crisis, and put an end to the purchase of cheap Russian pipeline gas by Western European nations.

 

Patrushev assessed that no pro-Ukraine actor had any reason to blow up the pipelines, asKiev “goes hat in hand to Berlin hoping for increased military assistance and other aid.”Washington, however, has long expressed opposition to Russian-German energy cooperation, the official noted.

Russia launches communications satellite

The spacecraft will help facilitate data exchange between the International Space Station and Earth

 

Russian space agency Roscosmos has announced that it successfully launched its Luch-5X communications satellite into orbit on Monday.

 

TheProton-M carrier rocket, fitted with a Briz-M booster, blasted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 2:13am Moscow time, the agency announced.

 

The launch vehicle functioned as expected, with the upper section separating from the carrier as planned, Roscosmos said.

 

Several hours later, the agency announced that the Luch-5X had been placed in its designated orbit.

 

The new satellite "will helpimprove advanced broadcast and communication technologies,” it explained.

 

It’s the fourth launch of a carrier rocket by Russia since the start of the year, and the 115th mission overall for the Proton-M vehicle.

 

The Luch-5X is part of Russia’s Luch Satellite Data Relay Network (SDRN), which was established in 2016.

 

The system provides for the exchange of data between the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS) and the Mission Control Center (TsUP), which is located in the town of Korolev in Moscow Region. (Why announce the town?)

US privately urged traders to resume shipments of Russian oil – FT

Trading companies say Washington “actively encouraged” them to re-engage in shipping crude, the outlet reported

 

TheUS administration called on the world’s largest commodity traders to shed concernsover deals with price-capped Russian oil in an effort to ensure global supplies, the Financial Times reported citing sources familiar with the matter.

 

Last year, G7 countries and the EU banned imports of seaborne Russian oil, but sales to countries that haven’t joined the sanctions are still permitted at a price limit of $60 per barrel.

 

While the White House hasn’t opposed trading Russian crude in compliance with the price cap, major trading houses have shunned oil deals from the sanctions-hit country, the outlet said.

 

But as concerns over curbs in Russian oil supplies are mounting, Washington – which had been pushing for restrictions – is now seeking to secure the flows. According to the FT,US Treasury Department officials have held private meetingswith the executives and traders of some of the largest global trading companies – including Trafigura and Gunvor – urging them to resume shipping Russian oil.

 

“We’ve been actively encouraged by the Americans . . . to re-engage on moving the oil,” one traderwho spoke with Treasury officialstold the news outlet.

 

Washington reassuredthese companies that they could trade with Russia without breaching Western penalties, FT reported, citing five people involved in the talks.

 

“It’s up to individual companies to make their own decisions. Our goal is to communicate what is allowed under the price cap architecture,” anofficial from the Biden administrationsaid, according to the outlet.

 

While traders from theEU and G7 countries require documentationproving that Russian oil is traded in line with the price cap, US enforcement was “relatively lax,” the outlet noted, citing traders.

 

“The Americans really do want [Russian oil] to move,” one of the traders told the FT.

 

Last year, Trafigura, Vitol, Gunvor and other major traders stopped doing business with Russia over concerns about their reputation and the fear of losing banking support. Trifugura sold its 24.5% stake in oil-refining company Nayara, in which Rosneft owns 49.13%.
