In the absence of official scrutiny of Washington’s spending spree on Ukraine, The Grayzone conducted an independent audit of US funding for the country. We discovered a series of wasteful, highly unusual expenditures the Biden administration has yet to explain.

During a recent discussion with New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof, Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development(USAID), Samantha Power, touted her organization’s push to guarantee transparency for US taxpayer funds sent to Ukraine.

“We are involved in funding efforts at ensuring judicial integrity, which is intrinsically important to building Ukraine’s democracy and its integration plans to get into Europe,” Power declared, adding USAID’s work in Ukraine was “also really important in terms of assuring the taxpayer, the American taxpayer, that they’re resources are well spent.”

While innocuous on the surface, Power’s comments revealed a great deception the US government is currently waging against the American public. In the roughly 16 months since Russia’s February 2022 escalation of the Ukraine conflict, the US government has approved several multi-billion dollar spending packages to sustain the Kiev military’s fight against Moscow.

Though many Americans likely believe that US dollars allocated for Ukraine are spent directly on supplies for the war effort, the leadauthor of this report, Heather Kaiser, conducted a thorough review of Washington’s budget for the 2022 and 2023 fiscal year and discovered that is far from the case.

US taxpayers may be shocked to learn that as their families grappled with fears of Social Security’s looming insolvency, theSocial Security Administration in Washington sent $4.48 million to the Kiev government in 2022 and 2023 alone. In another example of bizarre spending,USAID paid off $4.5 billion worth of Ukraine’s sovereign debt through payments made to the World Bank— all while Congress went to loggerheads over America’s ballooning national debt. (Western financial interests including BlackRock Inc. are among the largest holders of Ukrainian government bonds.)

Though it is nearlyimpossible to calculate the total sum of US tax dollars sent to Kiev, Kaiser was able to perform an independent audit of Washington’s proxy war in Ukraine through a careful search of open source data available on the US government’s official spending tracker.

Kaiser reviewed all the funding allocations in which Ukraine was listed as the “Place of Performance” for fiscal years 2022 and 2023. Additionally, she discoveredsupplementary funds were sent to Kiev by listing Ukraine as the “justification” for spending, rather than the location where the money was physically sent.

Calculating the total dollar amount that the US has given to Ukraine is incredibly challenging for multitude of reasons: there is a lag in reporting expenditures;covert money given by the CIA (Title 50 Covert Action) won’t be publicly disclosed; and direct military assistance in the form of military equipment is not calculated in the same manner as raw cash. The Pentagon recently admitted to an accounting error revised up to 6.2 billion dollars. Despite this, Kaiser submitted a request to the Department of Treasury asking them to disclose the total dollar amount of US taxpayer support for Ukraine. From our point of view, people tend to become more loving and more altruistic if they have their own needs met, and more fearful and selfish if they do not have their own needs met. Yes this is a generalization, but to us it is obvious that in general this is true. After all, Pleiadians are on average more loving and more altruistic than Earthlings, because we have our needs met. We are not inherently better than you - biologically we are practically the same species, and as stated our races can even have children together in the normal way.

 

So from our point of view, it is obvious that what is needed on Earth is to help people get their needs met, as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

 

Note that freedom is one of humanity's needs, so we are not advocating for an all-controlling government here. Instead what we think would be one great step is publicly releasing technology that makes people's lives better, such as free energy technology. A proposal for this was outlined in Tunia's message: "Let's Free Earth." Also, the Gray Hats already have this technology and they could just release it publicly, today if they chose to do so.

 

However, this is not the path that the Gray Hats have chosen. The path they have chosen is that they fight the dark controllers behind the scenes and when possible arrest their Earthling minions. However they are allowing the dark controllers to keep control of the mainstream media and to keep making life harder and harder and harder for average people.

 

The hope that these Gray Hats have is that when people suffer enough, they will wake up. However, from our point of view, when people suffer they become less loving and more selfish. This is the opposite of what we and what Source wants. Hence we think that the current strategy is counterproductive.

 

The subconscious shadow of the higher-up Gray Hats is also that they like having more power, more knowledge and more money than the average person. Plus in some cases they have a dark past and they understand that if everything were brought to light, their own past would be publicized too. Subconsciously these Gray Hats are less eager to move towards this love-based society than awake Earthlings would hope.

 

I do want to be fair to the Gray Hats: they are working hard, sometimes they are risking their lives and they have been and are making some progress against the dark controllers.

 

At the same time, they are sitting on a mountain of evidence. They could start public mass arrests tomorrow of the dark controllers today. Or they could publicly publish all their evidence, today, and hence empower the population to hold people accountable.

 

The Gray Hats would probably defend themselves by saying that the population needs to wake up and it's the fault of average citizens that this process is taking too long. From our point of view, by making people suffer you only narrow their perspective into a survival mode. If you want to wake people up, make sure their needs are met first.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and sapper equipment is exclusively used to blow things up or clean up explosives. And AtlanticDiving Supply is a military contractor originally founded to provide tactical gear to Navy SEAL divers.

When a company like this is tasked with a highly specific delivery of explosives gearto any foreign nation, including Ukraine, it should prompt questions about the mission, particularly when US intelligence is blaming Ukraine’s military for attacking the Nord Stream pipelines without the knowledge of President Volodymyr Zelensky. (The payment date does not necessarily correlate with the date of delivery from the vendor; in other words, the equipment could have been delivered at a prior date.)

Pentagon to send more Bradleys to Ukraine

Russian troops have reportedly destroyed at least 15% of Kiev’s US-supplied infantry fighting vehicles already

 

The US Department of Defense announced a new package of weapons for Ukraine on Tuesday, =including 30 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles. More than a dozen of the armored vehicles== have reportedly been damaged or destroyed since Kiev launched its counteroffensive against Russian forces earlier this month.

 

Valued at up to $500 million, the package is the 41st tranche of military aid doled out to Kievsince Russia’s military operation began last February. Itincludes 30 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, 25 Stryker Armored Personnel Carriers, 155mm artillery ammunition, Patriot anti-air missiles, and mine- and obstacle-clearing equipment, according to a statement from the Pentagon.

 

The announcement came just under a month into Ukraine’s counteroffensive, which has met stiff resistance from entrenched Russian troops. During repeated assaults through minefields and without air support, Kiev lost more than 13,000 troops, as well as 246 tanks and 152 infantry fighting vehicles, between June 4 and 21, according to figures from the Russian Security Council.

 

Videos showing wrecked Bradleys and German-supplied Leopard 2 tanks have circulated online, and American officials admitted to the New York Times this week that 17 of the 113 Bradleys supplied to Ukraine by that point had been damaged or destroyed. Coincidence? Biological Threat Mailed to GOP Lawmakers Who Also Stood Up to LGBT Agenda

 

Letters containing white powder have been sent to a number of Republican legislators across the country, including Montana, Kansas and Tennessee.

 

According to ABC, similar letters with white power were sent to former President Donald Trump, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and various other people, but were intercepted.

 

The FBI is now investigating the multi-state incident.

 

Tennessee House Republican Caucus spokesperson Jennifer Easton said the letters “contained obvious threats made by a liberal activist specifically targeting Republicans,” according to the Associated Press.

 

Receipt of the letter prompted a temporary lockdown of a Tennessee legislative office building. Earlier this year, Tennessee lawmakers passed a bill defining gender by biology and not preference.

Stoltenberg outlines condition for Ukraine joining NATO

 

Kiev must first win in its conflict with Russia before it could hope to become part of the alliance, the NATO chief has said

 

While NATO is seeking to support Kiev in its fight with Russia, any serious talk about Ukraine joining the alliance will be possible only after the end of the conflict, the bloc’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Wednesday.

 

When asked at a joint press conference with Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas for his take on Ukraine’s NATO prospects, Stoltenberg reiterated that all members of the bloc agree that Kiev would eventually become part of the alliance, though he stopped short of providing any specific dates.

 

“The most urgent task now is to ensure that Ukraine prevails as a sovereign and independent nation in Europe. Because if [Russian President Vladimir] Putin wins this war, then there is no membership issue to be discussed at all,” he noted.

 

Stoltenberg went on to say that Ukraine’s victory is “a precondition for any meaningful discussion about further membership,” adding that in the meantime NATO is trying to help Ukraine to achieve full interoperability with NATO forces and is enhancing political ties with Kiev.

In an interview shared by ANI, Chao Shao told Jennifer Zeng, a member of the International Press Association, that he and his colleagues were given four strains of the virus to determine which strain could spread most effectively. Zeng, a Chinese-born human rights activist and author, took the interview between March and April 2020.

 

Chao Shao recounted an incident where another researcher from the institute, Shan Chao, admitted that their superior had given them four strains of the coronavirus to test their infectivity across various species, including humans. Chao Shao also referred to the coronavirus as a “bioweapon.”

 

He further mentioned that several of his colleagues had gone missing during the 2019 Military World Games held in Wuhan. One of the missing researchers later disclosed that they were sent to hotels accommodating athletes from different countries to “inspect health and hygiene conditions.” Chao Shao suspected that their real purpose was to spread the virus, as checking hygiene conditions did not require virologists.

 

Additionally, Chao Shan claimed that in April 2020, he was sent to Xinjiang to assess the health of Uyghur individuals held in re-education camps, insinuating that he was either instructed to spread the virus or observe its effects on humans, as a virologist’s expertise was unnecessary for conducting health checks.

 

In May 2021 Lawrence Sellin, Ph.D. reported at The Gateway Pundit that the COVID-19 virus was made in a laboratory in China and was part of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army’s (PLA) biological warfare program.

IRS Whistleblower Tells CBS that DOJ Protected Hunter Biden and Obstructed Investigation on Money Trails Involving “Dad” or the “Big Guy”

 

Last week, House Ways and Means Chair Jason Smith (R-MO) detailed MULTIPLE felony charges that whistleblowers said the IRS recommended against Hunter Biden.

 

The investigation into Hunter Biden opened in November 2018 as an off-shoot of a separate, corporate investigation by the IRS.

 

Rep. Smith said, “The investigation was in the ordinary course of work at the IRS. It was not ordered by any individual, any chairman or any political entity.”

 

The IRS recommended charges against Hunter Biden that included:

 

Attempt to evade or defeat tax – A FELONY

Fraud or false statements – A FELONY

Willful failure to file returns, supply information or pay tax

Rather than charging Hunter Biden with felonies for evading taxes and providing false statements to the feds, Joe Biden’s corrupt DOJ gave him a sweetheart deal.

 

Hunter Biden was hit with two misdemeanors related to unpaid taxes from 2017 and 2018 by U.S. attorney for Delaware David Weiss.

 

Joe Biden’s DOJ blocked US Attorney David Weiss from aggressively pursuing Hunter Biden, according to an IRS whistleblower who spoke to lawmakers.

 

Merrick Garland AGAIN denied the allegations and claimed David Weiss was never blocked from bringing charges against Hunter Biden.

 

After Garland denied the claims and accused the whistleblower of lying, the whistleblower fought back and named six more witnesses to confirm it was Garland who’s not telling the truth.

 

“I documented exactly what happened. And it doesn’t seem to match what the attorney general or the U.S. attorney are saying today,” IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley told CBS News in his first interview on Tuesday.

 

“There were really earth-shaking statements made by David Weiss that really brought to light some of my previous concerns. And the first one was that he is not the deciding person on whether or not charges are filed,” Shapley said. “It was just shocking to me,” he added.

 

IRS Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley told CBS News chief investigative correspondent Jim Axelrod that he had also been obstructed from delving into investigative leads involving Joe Biden.

 

Shapley’s accusations pertain to the notorious 2017 email with the subject line “Expectations,” sent by James Gilliar, a business partner of Hunter Biden’s. The email mentioned a “provisional agreement” for “equity” in a transaction with a Chinese energy firm.

 

Two of Hunter Biden’s ex-business partners, who were privy to the message, disclosed to CBS News that the email reference — “10 held by H for the big guy?” — was a coded message signifying 10% held by Hunter Biden for his father, President Joe Biden.

Russia’s Crude Shipments Slump on Halt at Major Export Terminal

Russia’s seaborne crude oil flows to international markets slumped last week but maintenance work, rather than output cuts, is the most likely cause.

 

Crude flows through Russian ports fell by about 980,000 barrels a day in the week to June 25. Lower shipments were seen from all regions, but hardest hit was the Baltic, where fewer than half the normal number of tankers were loaded at Primorsk. The port accounted for more than half of the week-on-week drop in the country’s total seaborne crude exports.

 

Crude shipments through Primorsk dropped in exactly the same way during the same week last year and the pattern can also be seen in both 2020 and 2021, albeit a week earlier. In all three years, shipments rebounded the following week.

 

There was a gap in the loading program for the port, with no cargoes due to complete loading between June 21 and June 25, indicating that the drop in flows was planned. The program then reverts to its more normal pattern of at least one cargo completing loading each day for the rest of the month.

 

There was also a big drop in shipments from the Pacific, where flows were down week-on-week by more than 200,000 barrels a day. A slump in shipments from Kozmino was partly offset by an increase in the flow from Sakhalin Island. But it’s unlikely that this reflects an output cut either. Exports from Pacific ports command higher prices than those from the west of the country and shipping times to key markets in China and India are shorter, making cuts to flows from Kozmino unlikely. A gap in the Kozmino loading program suggests the dip in flows from the port will also be temporary.

 

Moscow has said previously that lower flows resulting from its output cut would be targeted at ports on the Baltic and Black Sea. But there has been no sign of a significant drop in flows from the Baltic port of Ust-Luga, nor from Novorossiysk on the Black Sea.

 

Meanwhile, Russian refineries raised crude processing rates to the highest level since April in the week to June 21, as the nation’s downstream maintenance season nears its end.

People Euthanised For Autism, Intellectual Disabilities in Netherlands

 

Several people with autism and intellectual disabilities have been legally euthanized in the Netherlands in recent years because they said they could not lead normal lives, researchers have found.

 

The cases included five people younger than 30 who cited autism as either the only reason or a major contributing factor for euthanasia, setting an uneasy precedent that some experts say stretches the limits of what the law originally intended.

 

In 2002, the Netherlands became the first country to allow doctors to kill patients at their request if they met strict requirements, including having an incurable illness causing “unbearable” physical or mental suffering.

 

Between 2012 and 2021, nearly 60,000 people were killed at their own request, according to the Dutch government’s euthanasia review committee. To show how the rules are being applied and interpreted, the committee has released documents related to more than 900 of those people, most of whom were older and had conditions including cancer, Parkinson´s and ALS.

 

Irene Tuffrey-Wijne, a palliative care specialist at Britain´s Kingston University, and her colleagues reviewed the documents to see how Dutch doctors were dealing with euthanasia requests from people with autism or with lifelong mental impairments. They published their findings in the journal BJPsych Open in May.

 

Among the 900 people with publicly posted case files, 39 of them were autistic and/or intellectually disabled. A handful were elderly, but 18 of them were younger than 50.

 

Many of the patients cited different combinations of mental problems, physical ailments, diseases or aging-related difficulties as reasons for seeking euthanasia. Thirty included being lonely as one the causes of their unbearable pain. Eight said the only causes of their suffering were factors linked to their intellectual disability or autism – social isolation, a lack of coping strategies or an inability to adjust their thinking.

 

“There´s no doubt in my mind these people were suffering,” Tuffrey-Wijne said. “But is society really OK with sending this message, that there´s no other way to help them and it´s just better to be dead?”

 

Other countries, including Belgium, Canada and Colombia, have legal euthanasia, but the Netherlands is the only one that shares detailed information about potentially controversial deaths, providing the best window into emerging trends in assisted dying. Still, its records are limited to what doctors disclose. So there could be other factors that weren´t released or cases where the patient´s autism or intellectual disabilities weren´t noted.

 

Because the committee releases only select records, it´s also impossible to know the true number of people with autism or intellectual disabilities killed at their own request.

 

Among the eight patients cited by researchers were an autistic man in his 20s. His record said “the patient had felt unhappy since childhood,” was regularly bullied and “longed for social contacts but was unable to connect with others.” The man, who was not named, chose euthanasia after deciding that “having to live on this way for years was an abomination.”

UN Documents Rampant Torture of Civilians by Ukrainian Security Forces

 

According to the UN report, dozens of civilians were tortured "in official pre-trial detention facilities"

The United Nations has recorded a significant increase in law violations by Ukrainian security forces since start of Russia’s special military operation, the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) said in a report on Tuesday.

"Since 24 February 2022, OHCHR has documented a significant increase in violations of the right to liberty and security of person by Ukrainian security forces. Out of the overall number of such cases, OHCHR documented 75 cases 92 of arbitrary detention of civilians (17 women, 57 men and 1 boy), some of which also amounted to enforced disappearances, mostly perpetrated by law enforcement authorities or the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the report read.

 

"Of further concern, OHCHR has documented the arrests of several civilians involved in distribution of humanitarian aid in territory ‘occupied’ by the Russian Federation," the report read.

On May 30, a Russian law enforcement source told Sputnik that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has opened torture chambers to get testimony from people who had cooperated with the Russian authorities while the city was under Russia's control between March and November 2022.

The source said the torture rooms were created at two district police departments, Dneprovsky and Komsomolsky. While mostly Ukrainians work at the Dneprovsky department, locals are not allowed into the second one, as only foreign mercenaries speaking English, Polish and Georgian work there, the source said.

Vladimir Malina, a former business assistant who decided to stay in Kherson after the withdrawal of the Russian troops, died in the torture chamber of the Dneprovsky police department.

"[He] was kept in the torture chamber of the Dneprovsky district department, [he was] brutally beaten, the next day, he died in the cell. In order to hide his death, for three days, two [former] employees of the Russian humanitarian center [in Kherson], Roman Gavrilyuk and Igor Gurov, who were detained with him, were tortured and forced to write an explanation that Vladimir Malina was released together with them," the source said.

 

Several people were tortured to death in these chambers, including a nurse and an investigator, the source said, adding that all of them are recognized as missing.

Besides, the SBU uses a network of agents to identify and arrest people who had previously cooperated with Russia.

Russia established control over Kherson soon after the launch of the military operation in Ukraine. In October, the republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, as well as the Russian-controlled parts of the Ukrainian regions of Kherson and Zaporozhye were incorporated into Russia following referendums.

In November, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the complete withdrawal of Russian troops and hardware from the right bank of the Dnepr River in the Kherson Region, citing the need to build up defenses on the left bank. Soon after that, the Ukrainian forces entered Kherson.

NOW they want to punish online sellers by demanding "government ID" and other information about small scale sellers. When has that a requirement for selling items before? Just more roll out of the control grid, imo.

 

Online marketplaces will have to acquire and verify a seller’s bank account numbers, government-issued identification, tax identification numbers as well as contact information.

 

I'd like to see the script flipped. Demand "government" to identify why we should pay any attention to it at all. If it isn't by of and for "We the People" it simply isn't our "government". If it can't prove it is legitimate and elections secure then it is obviated.

More than 1,400 foreign nationals found on NC voter rolls

 

According to documents obtained by the Public Interest Legal Foundation , 1,454 foreign nationals on the voter rolls had not obtained naturalization before Election Day 2014, necessitating a challenge at the polls.

 

Out of those 1,454 registrants, 89 attempted to vote, with 24 of them challenged. Of those 24 challenges, 11 were sustained.

 

Leading up to the 2014 midterm elections, North Carolina had more than 10,000 registered voters that might be foreign nationals, according to information obtained from federal and state immigration databases. The state sought to prevent foreign nationals from voting and performed a 10,000-registrant audit before the midterm election.

 

In 2021, the U.S. Fourth Circuit of Appeals granted PILF a favorable ruling, empowering them to obtain these documents.

 

The National Voter Registration Act of 1993, also known as the Motor Voter law, requires DMVs to offer voter registration.

 

PILF states that most foreigners register through the DMV process, and once foreign nationals are registered in vehicle department transactions or through social service agency registration, the NVRA limits the actions that election officials can take to address the issue. Even individuals registered outside of DMVs are still subject to the NVRA’s requirements for voter registration.

 

PILF cited three main problems impairing the ability of election officials to remove foreigns from voter rolls:

 

The federal voter registration requires no documentary proof of U.S. citizenship. Instead, the applicant is asked to attest to citizenship and age simply by checking a box next to the word “Yes.” This is essentially an honor system.

The federal voter registration form does not require full Social Security numbers, making it impossible to use E-Verify to find illegal immigrants registered to vote.

Motor Voter’s language did not account for the need for DMVs to transmit citizenship verification data in driver licensing transactions, even in the age of REAL ID. Essentially, this means that DMV customers may not update their immigration statuses in their driver records after naturalization.

North Carolina’s audit demonstrates that the SAVE Database serves as a viable tool for election officials to ascertain citizenship.

 

“North Carolina’s experience makes clear how some of Motor Voter’s aging provisions are allowing foreign interference in our elections by causing foreign nationals to get registered to vote,” PILF President J. Christian Adams said. “Then, the law’s provisions create roadblocks for election officials to correct the record. Congress must modernize Motor Voter. The best way to celebrate 30 years of the National Voter Registration Act is to make sure it serves everyone in America – especially those among us who cannot yet vote.”

 

On Thursday, Adams submitted written testimony concerning noncitizen registration list maintenance, deceased registrant list maintenance reforms, and absentee ballot transmission deadlines to the North Carolina House Oversight and Reform Committee. All of PILF’s proposals relate to Senate Bill 747, titled “Election Law Changes.”

 

Senate Bill 747 passed the Senate by a vote of 28-19 along partisan lines. The Senate sent the legislation to the House on Thursday for consideration.

The Jordan Valley is a swath of land on Israel’s eastern border between the West Bank and Jordan that Israel sees as a vital security asset. It is home to Israeli settlements and Palestinian communities.

 

Hagoel made the push for annexation as coalition lawmakers launched the new Knesset group, called Sovereignty over the Jordan Valley First.

 

The group, launched “with the aim of bringing a major achievement in applying sovereignty in the Jordan Valley,” is led by Likud MK Dan Illouz and Shas MK Yosef Taieb, WZO said in a statement.

 

“We’re at a historic moment. If there isn’t significant progress on this issue, there will be tears shed for generations,” Illouz said.

 

“The historical roots of the people of Israel are in the areas of Judea and Samaria, and the way to secure our place is to stand firm for our historical right to the Land of Israel,” Illouz said. “The road begins with applying sovereignty in the Jordan Valley.”

 

“Above all, this is important because the Jordan Valley belongs to the Jewish people and the Land of Israel,” Taieb said.

 

Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter, Settlements and National Missions Minister Orit Strock, Cabinet Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf, 12 MKs and several settler leaders took part in the launch event.

 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pushed for annexation during his previous tenure as premier.

 

Netanyahu, during the 2020 unveiling of the Trump administration’s peace plan, declared that Israel would immediately annex West Bank settlements and the Jordan Valley. The declaration reportedly caught the US off guard and caused some friction with the White House. Netanyahu also said during a 2019 political campaign that if reelected he would annex the Jordan Valley.

 

Netanyahu dropped the annexation push as part of the US-brokered Abraham Accords agreements, which saw Israel normalize ties with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco.

US Sanctions Gold Firms Tied to Wagner Mercenary Group

 

The U.S. Treasury Department on Tuesday imposed sanctions on multiple companies accused of using illicit gold sales to help fund Russia’s Wagner mercenary group.

 

Treasury said in an announcement on June 27 that it had sanctioned four companies in the Central African Republic (CAR), United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Russia, accusing the entities of engaging in illegal gold dealings to fund Wagner operations and expand the group’s armed forces.

 

One individual, Wagner executive Andrey Nikolayevich Ivanov, has also been sanctioned for allegedly facilitating mining and weapons deals in Mali on behalf of Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin.

 

“Treasury’s sanctions disrupt key actors in the Wagner Group’s financial network and international structure,” Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Brian E. Nelson said in a statement.

 

The four companies targeted by U.S. sanctions in Tuesday’s actions are: Central African Republic-based Midas Resources SARLU (Midas) and Diamville SAU (Diamville); Dubai-based Industrial Resources General Trading (Industrial Resources); and Russia-based Limited Liability Company DM (OOO DM).

 

Treasury alleges that Wagner, acting as a proxy military force of the Kremlin, has committed widespread human rights abuses and appropriated natural resources in multiple African countries.

 

“The Wagner Group funds its brutal operations in part by exploiting natural resources in countries like the Central African Republic and Mali,” Nelson said.

 

“The United States will continue to target the Wagner Group’s revenue streams to degrade its expansion and violence in Africa, Ukraine, and anywhere else,” he added.

 

The Russian embassy in Washington did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the sanctions.

 

Besides fighting some of the bloodiest battles in Ukraine in what the Kremlin calls a “special military operation,” Wagner forces have fought in Libya, Syria, the Central African Republic, and Mali, among others.

 

In January, the United States designated Wagner as a transnational criminal organization responsible for widespread human rights abuses, with the Kremlin accusing Washington of having baselessly “demonised” the group.

 

Wagner again surged into the limelight recently after its forces left Ukraine and marched on Moscow in an act of rebellion against Russia’s top military leaders.

After the years of fear wand expecting the computers to go off line at midnight, I ended up in Hells belly on NYE, Key West. I sat at the Sloppy Joe's bar from 6 pm thrrough midnight and more. I really was sure I would be stuck in hell forever.

Madonna rushed to hospital, intubated in ICU after being found unresponsive

Madonna was found unresponsive and rushed to a New York City hospital Saturday, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

 

We hear the “Material Girl” singer, 64, was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed — and she is now alert and recovering.

 

We’re also told that her daughter Lourdes Leon was by her side throughout the ordeal.

 

Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared on Instagram Wednesday that his client had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.”

 

While a source tells us the Queen of Pop is now “out of the ICU,” Oseary explained in his post, “She is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”
