Roseanne Barr has cancelled a planned television interview, in favor of recording her own thoughts and explanations.

On Sunday, the actress announced she was set to do a TV interview “this week” and would share further details on Monday.

The news came as she thanked fans for their support following the controversy that has surrounded her since a racist tweet led to her firing and the cancellation of ABC's Roseanne reboot in May.

However, by Monday evening, Barr, 65, had backed out of the interview.

"After a lot of thought, I decided that I won’t be doing any TV interviews, too stressful & untrustworthy 4 me & my fans,” she explained on Twitter. “I’m going to film it myself & post it on my youtube channel in the next week – the entire explanation of what happened & why!”

“I love you all – sign up & get ready," she added.

The tweet was followed up by a 2015 clip from her web series, Domestic Goddess: She’s So High.

A California prosecutor will be placed on administrative leave as his office investigates offensive comments made on his social media accounts, the county district attorney announced on Monday.

Michael Selyem, who leads the Hardcore Gang Unit at the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office, is the subject of an internal investigation, according to a statement from District Attorney Mike Ramos, after reportedly targeting Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), former first lady Michelle Obama, immigrants and Mexicans in comments on his social media accounts.

According to images published in the San Bernardino Sun newspaper, Selyem recently attacked Waters after she called for Trump administration members to be harassed in public.

“Being a loudmouthed . . . in the ghetto you would think someone would have shot” her by now, he wrote, in a much more explicit manner, according to the Sun.

Selyem also posted a fake picture of Michelle Obama holding a sign that said “Trump grabbed my penis,” the Sun wrote. The notion that Michelle Obama is a man is a smear that has grown in some conspiracy-theory-minded circles on the right.

Michael Cohen’s new attorney came out firing Monday against President Donald Trump and his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, challenging Giuliani over a recent interview and claiming the president and his lawyer together calling for the truth was an “oxymoron.”

Lanny Davis, who previously worked for President Bill Clinton’s administration and has staunchly defended Hillary Clinton following her 2016 loss to Trump, went after Giuliani’s call Sunday for Cohen to cooperate with federal prosecutors and to tell “the truth.”

Davis was referring to Giuliani’s appearance on ABC.

And when Giuliani was pressed about whether he had “concerns” about what Cohen could tell investigators, he stated firmly that he had none.

"Zero. None," Giuliani said. "As long as he tells the truth, we're home free."

Davis appears to have taken an approach similar to that of Michael Avenatti, the attorney for Stormy Daniels who often uses social media to blast Trump, as well as Cohen, and many of the president’s supporters.

A former Ohio State wrestler who has staunchly defended U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said that the “conversations in a locker room” that Jordan admitted Friday he’d heard during his days as an assistant coach involved wrestlers saying “prepare to drop your pants” when they talked about going to see team doctor Richard Strauss.

In a lengthy phone interview with USA TODAY Sports on Sunday, Michael Alf, who wrestled at Ohio State from 1988-92, continually praised Jordan, his assistant coach who has been accused by seven former wrestlers of knowing about and failing to stop Strauss from molesting athletes.

When asked for examples of the locker room conversations that Jordan mentioned, Alf said:

"If someone said, ‘Oh, I’ve got to go see Doc Strauss,’ it would be like, ‘Oh, prepare to drop your pants,’” said Alf, now a 48-year-old car dealer in suburban Chicago. “That was the locker room talk. I’m going to see Doc Strauss. It was always the joke, prepare to drop your pants. We kind of all said it.”

After several days of outright denials by Jordan that he had heard about allegations of sexual misconduct in the wrestling program, he revised his account Friday when he told Fox News that “conversations in a locker room are a lot different than allegations of abuse.”

Father, toddler son shot dead in Georgia; mother falls into ravine while fleeing attacker, officials say

An American family of three living in the republic of Georgia died during an attack by a disgruntled shepherd, who shot and killed the father and young son, and caused the mother to flee in fear – until she fell into a ravine and died, officials said.

Ryan Smith, his wife, Lora Smith, and their son, Caleb, were pronounced dead when their bodies were found last week, days after the family was killed on July 4, the Interior Ministry of Georgia announced Monday.

Police began searching for the family last Friday after someone notified them that the Smiths and their son, all of whom have dual citizenship in Georgia and the U.S., were missing. Authorities began searching Khada Gorge, the Dusheti region of Georgia, and found a car and personal belongings in Tskere village.

On the same day, Lora Smith’s body was found at the edge of a waterfall with “no traces of violence.” Ryan Smith’s body was discovered the next day.

An autopsy revealed Ryan Smith died from a gunshot wound.

Officials arrested a 19-year-old man, who they believed had shot Ryan Smith and Caleb with a hunting rifle. The suspect then hid the 4-year-old’s body. Smith’s wife fell into a ravine while trying to escape, officials said.

The shepherd later confessed to the murder and led police to the boy’s body, Agenda.GE reported. He was charged with premeditated murder and faces life in prison.

Officials believe the murder stemmed from a dispute between the shepherd and Ryan Smith, but authorities did not provide further information.

The couple had been living in the country for more than 10 years. They received their Georgian citizenship in 2012 and lived in Marneuli region, Agende.GE reported.

German AfD Files Human Trafficking Charges vs. Seven Soros Funded NGOs !!!!

The Alternative for Germany (AfD) has filed criminal charges against seven German NGO’s for human trafficking — including Doctors Without Borders.

The Italian government recently announced that they are closing their ports to these “humanitarian” ships in an effort to stop the illegal migration. Malta has since impounded multiple Sea-Watch vessels that are sponsored by the Lutheran Church in Germany using taxpayer funds.

The captain of a ship run by Dresden-based Mission Lifeline, Claus-Peter Reisch, has also been arrested in Malta and charged with sailing under false flag. He has since been released on bail, but must remain on Malta until trial.

The charges being filed by AfD are based on a German law against human trafficking (Aufenthaltsgesetz §96) which deems it a crime to “aid or assist in illegal immigration repeatedly or on behalf of several foreigners, or for profit”. They are supported by all 92 members of parliament of the AfD, and was conceived by Petr Bystron, a former Czech refugee who is now AfD spokesman on the Foreign Committee of the German Bundestag.

According to the AfD, the NGOs use their people-trafficking activity to acquire donations totalling millions of Euros. SOS Mediterranée has an annual budget of around €4 million, Sea-Watch €1.7 million, Sea-Eye €500.000 and Mission Lifeline (which just began raising money in Fall of 2017) €250.000.

Many of these NGOs come from Germany – the same country which plunged Europe into the migrant crisis thanks to Chancellor Angela Merkel’s throwing open the borders and providing generous welfare, health care and housing in Germany to anyone claiming to be a refugee. The NGOs have long enjoyed the support of legitimate political parties and the media, who often obtain their news coverage directly from the NGO press departments.

“It is time to finally call a spade a spade and a crime a crime. Many other European countries have understood this, and closed their borders to mass illegal immigration. 80% of Italians now support Matteo Salvini’s course, and the mood among the citizens in Germany has begun to change as well. It is only the media and politicians who continue to tubthump for illegal mass migration against all reason and the interests of their own people”, said Bystron.

Charges were filed against the heads of Mission Lifeline e.V. Klaus-Peter Reisch, Axel Steier, Sascha Pietsch and Hermine Poschmann. Leonard Leo, who took a leave from the conservative group the Federalist Society to aide Trump with the Supreme Court pick, dismissed Democratic calls to delay the confirmation process until after Mueller concludes his investigation as a "red herring."
