The agency run by impeached migration czar Alejandro Mayorkas is interfering with the House’s investigation into the attempted murder of President Donald Trump, Rep. Michael Cloud (R-Texas), told Breitbart News.

The shooting was “an epic failure,” Cloud told Breitbart News during an interview at the GOP’s national convention, adding, “It is very concerning that right off the bat, we see DHS [Mayorkas’ Department of Homeland Security] obfuscating as opposed to being transparent. This should be something that, regardless of party, we don’t allow this kind of thing in our country.”

The Secret Service agency is part of Mayorkas’s DHS. It is run by sociology graduate Kimberly Cheatle.

Cloud is a member of the House’s oversight committee, which is chaired by Rep. James Comer (R-KY).

“We were scheduled for a first briefing today, just on the facts of the case, what’s going on, what they know now, and DHS has stepped in between the communications now of the Secret Service and the Oversight Committee, and are now trying to control the communication between the two committees,” Cloud told Breitbart News during an interview at the GOP’s national convention.

Mayorkas is now rushing to pick people within “days” for a supposedly independent review of the agency’s failure.

Since 2021, Mayorkas has used his independent power within President Joe Biden’s administration to promote the interests of migrants and to aid the migration of roughly 10 million migrants into Americans’ communities, homes, and workplaces throughout the United States. That elite-backed agenda led to his impeachment by the House in February 2024 and has crashed Biden’s polls in the 2024 election.

Cloud continued: “So Chairman Comer is issuing subpoenas to make sure that the Secret Service director does appear [at a hearing]. Right now, we have a committee scheduled for the day we go back next week, on Monday, to make sure that she does appear and that we are being able to begin this investigation.”

“Already they’re obfuscating it, it would seem,” Cloud said, adding, “We should be able to get that preliminary information out, realizing that, okay, this is going to take more than one briefing … But you know, this is coming from the same administration who was labeling Catholics as terrorists, people who go to school board meetings as terrorists, yet they fail to protect a former president of the United States and a political opponent. We’ve seen this administration target political opponents before, and then now fail epically in protecting a former president — and we will say, future — President of the United States. And so this is extremely concerning.”

Congressman Cloud continued.

“I’ll say this right off the bat: [With] any failure like this of the Secret Service … the honorable thing [for the director] to do is to resign at this point. She’ll talk about, ‘Well, we need to make sure this never happens again.’ That’s not the job description. The job description is to make sure that this never happens, period.We got to take the ‘again’ out of that. You should not get two assassination attempts under your belt as director of the Secret Service.”

The open 2nd Floor Window and the Second Shooter

Here are the facts:

1) When Trump was shot he was unknowingly looking down the same site line that the shooter who grazed his ear was looking down. The bullets flight path was parallel to Trumps head, just grazing his ear.

2) when the bullet hit Trump's ear - he was looking to his right and in slightly in front of him.

3) Thus, the sniper who made the ear grazing shot was elevated and to Trump's right front. Physics 101. Geometry 101.

4) Crooks was killed by a headshot exactly in the position he was shooting from. Where his body is shown is exactly his shooting position.

5) Crooks shooting position is to Trump's right and somewhat BEHIND Trump to that right.

6) At the position of Trumps head when his ear was grazed if the shot came from Crooks it would have killed President Trump as it would have also impacted his skull.

7) Aerail footage from a helicopter that showed Crooks body on the roof - also showed that the building adjacent to the one Crooks was on (a two story building) had a second floor window OPEN!

8) I found the EXACT LOCATION of this window before finding the helicopter video footage by drawing a straight line that was parallel to Trumps head (and tangent to it) out to the front of Trump.

9) The math 100% shows that is where the ear shot came from. The helicopter footage shows the window in that exact location was open.

Given these facts - a reasonable person must conclude that there was a second shooter who shot Trump.

Crooks was the moving hand for all to watch, the dead patsy whose job it was to die, and his supposed kill shot (had Trunp not turned his head) was going to be wrapped in government incompetence.

Again, do what I did. Get the photos and footage. Do the math. You don't have to rely on me. Independent research will replicate my findings.

Mr. Comperatore’s sister, Kelly Comperatore Meeder, said members of the family had also spoken with representatives of the Trump campaign on Monday night. Ms. Comperatore Meeder said they had declined an invitation to speak with President Biden.

Mr. Comperatore, 50, was an ardent supporter of Mr. Trump and was eager on Saturday to see the former president for the first time in person. His sister said on Tuesday that her family believed that anger toward Mr. Trump was sown by President Biden and media outlets and had led to the fatal shooting.

“We’re not offering them anything,” Ms. Comperatore Meeder, 56, said of President Biden and his administration.

Mr. Comperatore was a father of two daughters and worked at a local plastics manufacturing company. He was also a longtime volunteer firefighter.

He had been so excited to attend his first rally for Mr. Trump that he woke up early to get in line, even after a late evening at a Chris Stapleton concert, Ms. Comperatore Meeder said. He texted their mother that he and his family had been able to switch seats to get closer to the president. Their mother, Ms. Comperatore Meeder said, wanted him to wave at the television cameras so she could watch him.

When the shooting occurred minutes into Mr. Trump’s speech, Mr. Comperatore dove to shield his family members from gunfire, according to Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Comperatore Meeder said she held media outlets “very much responsible” for her brother’s death because of the way she believes they have depicted Mr. Trump and his supporters.

“This was a 20-year-old boy on the roof,” Ms. Comperatore Meeder said. “He didn’t come back here from Vietnam. He didn’t see all of these terrible things. He just knows what he’s been hearing, what the media has portrayed this man to be, and it’s very unfair.”

Federal investigators are still trying to determine what drove the suspect, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, to attempt to assassinate Mr. Trump. They have been searching his online activity and his phone but have not yet found indications of strongly held political beliefs.

Mr. Comperatore’s widow, Helen Comperatore, did not respond to requests for an interview this week, but she told the New York Post on Monday that she was not interested in talking to President Biden because her husband was an ardent supporter of Mr. Trump.

“I didn’t talk to Biden,” she told the newspaper. “I didn’t want to talk to him. My husband was a devout Republican, and he would not have wanted me to talk to him.”

Ms. Comperatore, however, added that she didn’t have any ill will toward President Biden. “He didn’t do anything bad to my husband. A 20-year-old despicable kid did.”

When she was a child, Ms. Comperatore Meeder said, she nicknamed her younger brother “Bud,” because he was her buddy. She remembered him riding his dirt bike as a child in Sarver, their rural community outside of Pittsburgh. Except for one time that he was caught riding without a helmet, she said, he never got in trouble.

He married his high school sweetheart, Helen, and put down roots where he was raised.

“You couldn’t have paid him to move from his hometown,” she said. “This was his home. These were his people.”

When Ms. Comperatore Meeder moved about 25 minutes up the highway, her brother expressed disbelief that she would go “that far away.” Their entire family lives in the area, she said.

“There just isn’t an adjective strong enough for you all to understand exactly how shattered we are,” Ms. Comperatore Meeder said. “We’re shattered.”

The former president was grazed in the ear, and another person, Corey Comperatore, was killed.

"I was starting to get phone calls saying, 'We think Jim was one of the people shot.' I was in shock," said Moon Township supervisor Al Quaye.

Quaye was traveling home from a family vacation when he learned his friend was critically wounded during the attempted assassination of Trump.

"Jim's a super nice guy, and I couldn't believe it happened to him," Quaye said.

Quaye met Copenhaver a few years ago at one of the board of supervisor's meetings which he attended to share concerns about a development project near his home. It seemed, according to Quaye, that Copenhaver, a registered Democrat, caught the politics bug and kept returning to meetings.

"He was one of the few people who would show up all the time to our meetings," Quaye said.

Quaye spoke to Copenhaver's family on Monday. They say Jim is sedated but stable. He was shot twice: once in the leg and once in the abdomen. While the 74-year-old has a long road ahead, Quaye is hopeful he'll make a full recovery.

"I'm really hoping everything is going to be fine," Quaye said.

Mr. Copenhaver, 74, is from Moon Township, Pa. Records showed that he was registered as a Democrat. He is married with at least one son and plays in a band, according to his friends.

Larry Wheeler, who went to high school with Mr. Copenhaver, said that just last week they talked about Mr. Trump — though he didn’t know that Mr. Copenhaver would be going to the rally.

Albert Quaye, a supervisor in Moon Township, said he first met Mr. Copenhaver a few years ago at a local board of supervisors meeting, which Mr. Copenhaver attended to share concerns about a development project near his home. He seemed to catch the local politics bug then and kept returning to meetings, Mr. Quaye said. “He would be there sometimes with us through late-night meetings,” he said.

Mr. Copenhaver was retired, according to Mr. Quaye. A LinkedIn page that appeared to belong to Mr. Copenhaver indicated that he used to work at the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

Mr. Quaye didn’t have more details on Mr. Copenhaver’s condition, but said he was optimistic about his prognosis. “Jim’s a healthy 74,” he said.

According to what little data footprint is available and shared by media, Thomas Matthew Crooks, age 20, DOB: 09-20-2003, had no social media presence. Let that sink in for a moment. A 20-year-old in 2024 with no social media presence.

Second, it’s Deja-vu all over again with the picture (seen above left) that is widely being used by media in stories about Matthew Crooks. The above image is his freshman high school picture. [SEE HERE] There are no recent or current pictures of 20-year-old Crooks taken by friends, family, or in this era, selfies? And the picture on the left is the best image the media can come up with?

The issue seems small but looms large because the ramifications of control over the identity of Thomas Matthew Crooks. If this much exhaustive effort is put into concealing his footprint, it only makes the sketchy outcomes of his activity seem that much more nefarious.

If Crooks is what government silos claim he is, then there’s no reason to have such a strong level of control over his data footprint. Something isn’t right.

At this point, I’m not sure what it means, because the absence of evidence is not necessarily evidence of absence.

It was the DOJ-CRS that took control over the Vegas shooter background and information. However, this is even another level stronger than that.

A package left in the mailbox of Congregation B’nai Abraham, 519 N. Main St., Butler, revealed drawings and writings of “someone probably having a mental health crisis,” according to the synagogue’s caretaker, Ben Vincent. Butler City Police and a bomb squad responded to the synagogue Monday evening, June 17, Vincent said.

Cantor Michal Gray-Schaffer, the synagogue’s spiritual leader, said she called police “out of an abundance of caution” after receiving a “concerning call” from someone who seemed incoherent Monday afternoon. About an hour later, a person appeared on the synagogue’s property and a package was left in the mailbox.

Gray-Schaffer said the synagogue was evacuated by police.

Vincent said he was told by authorities about 6 p.m. that the box.
