Jasper County Sheriff's Department, Mississippi

 

All but one of the escaped monkeys have been destroyed.

We have been in contact with an animal disposal company to help handle the situation.

Mississippi Wildlife and Fisheries is also on site with our local law enforcement.

We are continuing to look for the one monkey that is still on the loose.

 

On 10/28/25 a wreck occurred on I59 near mile marker 117.

This was a truck carrying Rehsus monkeys from Tulane University.

The monkeys are approx. 40lbs, they are aggressive to humans and they require PPE to handle.

The monkeys carry hepatitis C, herpes, and COVID.

Tulane University has been notified and will send a team to pick up the monkeys tomorrow (the ones that are still caged).

Aussie is STARTING a ship build industry by sending $$$$ to usa, and we will have some in 2030-2040 or somthink. takes YEARS to build a "boat" in the west these days. 12mths from order to delivery for an oil tanker or cruise ship is not bad.

 

Textiles? that ship / horse bolted already. How many shirts / dresses does one person REALLY need? how much to landfill?

 

Germany/Eu have no gas (pipline & pump gone), so German manufacture will shutdown soon, and many will freeze over winter. (part of (their) plan?)

DNA Contamination in Pfizer COVID Vaccines Up to Four Times Legal Limits, Study Finds

Researchers found DNA in Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccines at levels three-to-four times higher than regulatory limits, according to a new “bombshell” study.

 

“This far exceeds the maximal acceptable concentration of 10 ng [nanograms] per clinical dose that has been set by international regulatory authorities,” the authors wrote.

 

The peer-reviewed study, published this week in the journal Science, Public Health Policy and the Law, also found simian virus 40 (SV40) DNA contaminants in the vaccines. And the researchers determined that the spike proteins produced by the vaccines persist in the body longer than claimed.

 

The findings led the authors to call for “an immediate halt of all RNA biologicals.”

 

Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., senior research scientist at Children’s Health Defense (CHD), told The Defender that DNA contamination may contribute to the increase in autoimmune diseases among the vaccinated. “The immune system operates on very sensitive detections to initiate responses,” he said.

 

“DNA suddenly deposited into your bloodstream could kickstart the interferon response,” Jablonowski said. “The interferon response, when there’s nothing to find but ‘self,’ could be the springboard for autoimmune disease.”

 

The study also showed that the spike proteins produced after vaccination persist in the body for at least seven days following vaccination instead of the shorter period Pfizer-BioNTech previously claimed. The spike proteins are also prone to shedding.

 

These results “raise grave concerns” about mRNA vaccines, the study concluded.

 

Kevin McKernan, founder of Medicinal Genomics, is the first scientist who identified the presence of SV40 in the mRNA vaccines. He called the new study “a tour de force on the DNA contamination topic.” McKernan wrote about the study on Substack, and said in an X post that the study’s authors “knocked it out of the park.”

 

Immunologist and biochemist Jessica Rose, Ph.D., agreed. “This paper is the paper of the century. The paper is not only a work of art in terms of the study layout. It is very well-written and settles ongoing ‘issues’ pertaining to allegations made by regulatory bodies that the DNA contamination issue is misinformation,” Rose said.

 

Dr. Angus Dalgleish, professor of oncology at St George’s, University of London, told The Defender the study “diligently used techniques proving that these samples contain large amounts of DNA” and that “these samples easily enter and express in a known kidney cell line used as a standard to examine these phenomena.”

 

The new study follows the recent publication of a peer-reviewed paper in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons, identifying serious safety concerns in the mRNA COVID-19 shots. The authors of that study called “at minimum” a moratorium on the shots.

 

The papers join a growing list of scientists and organizations calling for a ban on COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. They include Florida’s surgeon general, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Doctors for COVID Ethics, Americans for Health Freedom and the World Council for Health.

 

In October, Idaho’s health board voted to stop offering COVID-19 vaccines at its 30 clinics because of safety concerns. Also that month, the Slovak government issued a report proposing a ban on “dangerous” mRNA vaccines.

 

The new study comes amid the launch of an online library, the SARS-CoV2 Spike Protein Pathogenicity Research Collection, a database of over 250 peer-reviewed studies detailing the risks posed by spike proteins.

 

Dalgleish said the latest study “completely confirms” the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons paper. “The two together should be enough legal evidence to call for the immediate ban of mRNA vaccines.”

Peter Martinazzijoined Facebook in May 2009, when the company was just five years old but well on its path to world domination. Over the next eight years, he rose to become a director of project management, helping to oversee improvements to Facebook Messenger. Martinazzi loved working at Facebook and speaks earnestly about having designed tools to help people be more connected. (Actually, he speaks earnestly about everything.) But by early 2017, like many young liberals in the aftermath of the 2016 election, he was ready for a change. Martinazzi left his job and embarked on a period of travel and aimless self-exploration.

 

He started listening to a lot of nonfiction audiobooks about inequality, devouring a veritable syllabus of influential progressive texts:The New Jim Crow, Evicted, Give Us the Ballot, Saving Capitalism, and so on. He became fixated on how unfair modern American life was—how few people had access to the kind of privilege, for example, that allowed someone like him to take time off from work without having to worry about money.

 

“I listened to these books, and I was trying to figure out how I could best impact either structural racism, or economic inequality, or democracy not being very democratic,” he told me a few weeks ago, speaking via Zoom from his Brooklyn apartment, his laptop perched on top of a dresser. Behind him, a stack of boxes served as a makeshift desk. Eventually, he explained, he landed on political campaigns and organizing technology, where “the demands and goals are similar to Messenger: How do I bring my friends onto this?” Last fall he joined Mobilize America, the leading events platform for Democratic and progressive campaigns. Now instead of trying to maximize how much time users spend on Facebook, his job is to make it easier for volunteers to help Democrats win elections on the digital side—which, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, is going to be the only side that matters for a while.

 

Like many Democratic campaign tech companies, Mobilize didn’t even exist in November 2016. Launched in early 2017 with seed money from the progressive incubator Higher Ground Labs, Mobilize was designed to turn the wave of enthusiasm behind mass events like the Women’s March into something that would pay results on Election Day.

 

“One thing that was apparent from the beginning was that energy could manifest quickly on platforms like Facebook, but was very hard to maintain; it was hard to move people from the online space into the offline space,” says Alfred Johnson, Mobilize’s cofounder and CEO. “Platforms like Facebook are built to get you to engage on Facebook; they're not built to get you into the offline world, doing things for a particular organization.”

 

That’s the problem Mobilize is meant to help solve. It’s an event platform designed to help campaigns reach supporters and help volunteers find ways to take action. For candidates and advocacy groups, it automates many of the key steps in organizing —tracking signups, sending reminder emails, getting feedback from volunteers—and integrates with other tech tools, like texting apps and voter file databases, that campaigns rely on. For volunteers, it streamlines the process of finding and registering for the right events: canvassing, debate watch parties, phone and text banking, and the like. In just over two years, Mobilize has become nearly ubiquitous among Democratic campaigns and left-leaning advocacy organizations. Almost all the Democratic presidential primary campaigns used it, as do independent groups like Swing Left, Crooked Media, and the National Education Association. A centralized events platform might seem obvious, but no one was doing it until now. “It is wild to us that nothing like Mobilize existed prior to Mobilize existing,” says Mallory Long, the director of training at the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, a liberal anti-gerrymandering nonprofit.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is the most popular leader in the world, American journalist Tucker Carlson has claimed, in an interview with RTVI US.

 

Outside of Western Europe, Canada, and the “Anglo-sphere,” it is almost impossible to meet someone who doesn’t like Putin, Carlson told the network.

 

”He is the most popular leader in the world, by far,” Carlson said, noting that the primary reason for Putin’s global popularity is the fact that he has “put his own country’s interests above his own in a lot of ways.

Asked if his perspective on Putin’s worldview had changed after an interview with him in February 2024, Carlson said that he was surprised to realize that the Russian president “actually likes the West.”

The Acid Test of 3I/ATLAS at Perihelion

On October 29, 2025, the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS will get to the closest distance of 203 million kilometers from the Sun, completing half of its journey through the Solar System.

This would constitute half of the journey as long as nothing dramatic happens to it at that time.

 

For a spacecraft, perihelion is the optimal time for either acceleration or deceleration by an impulse from an engine, thanks to the gravitational assist from the Sun.

This is also true of a mothership releasing mini-probes that maneuver towards the planets. Unfortunately, we cannot observe 3I/ATLAS from Earth at this opportune time, which raises the question of whether its trajectory was fine-tuned by extraterrestrial intelligence?

 

As I explained today to Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino in America’s Newsroom on Fox News (accessible here), the fundamental question is whether 3I/ATLAS is a Trojan Horse with the external appearance of a natural comet but carrying a potential threat in its interior.

The city of Troy would have been better served if its guardians had not been fooled by the external appearance of the Trojan Horse. For that reason, I co-authored with Omer Eldadi and Gershon Tenenbaum a White Paper (accessible here), which encouraged policy makers to take seriously the potential threat from a black swan event involving an unusually massive object moving along the ecliptic plane like 3I/ATLAS.

 

Perihelion is just 2 days before Halloween. Is 3I/ATLAS wearing a costume of a comet or is it a truly icy rock of natural origin?

 

On November 3, 2025, 3I/ATLAS will come within a distance of 97 million kilometers from Venus. During the same week, it will be observable to the ESA mission, Juice, along its path to Jupiter.

On December 19, 2025, 6 days before Christmas, 3I/ATLAS will get to its closest distance of 267 million kilometers from Earth, assuming a purely gravitational trajectory. Will 3I/ATLAS send mini-probes towards Earth as Christmas gifts to humanity?

I had asked my research team in the Galileo Project to check if there is any unusual activity by anomalous objects in the Earth’s atmosphere based on data collected by the three Galileo Observatories in the coming months.

On March 16, 2026, 3I/ATLAS will arrive at its closest distance of 54 million kilometers from Jupiter, where the Juno spacecraft could image it and use a radio antenna to check for any radio transmission as a technological signature.

 

Thus, perihelion constitutes the acid test of 3I/ATLAS. If it is a natural comet glued together by weak forces, its heating by 770 watts per square meter may break it up into fragments which evaporate more quickly as a result of their large surface area per unit mass.

The resulting fireworks might generate a much brighter cometary plume of gas and dust around it. However, if 3I/ATLAS was technologically manufactured — as suggested by its high abundance of nickel relative to iron, it might maneuver or release mini-probes.

Other technological signatures include artificial lights or excess heat from an engine. We will know the nature of 3I/ATLAS better in the coming months.

I emphasized the need for cosmic modesty as we examine who else lives in our cosmic neighborhood and the potential threat from alien technology.

Construction at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility will immediately begin for the Equinox system. It is expected to be delivered in 2026.

As part of the partnership, Oracle will also immediately provide DOE with access to AI computing resources that use a combination of NVIDIA Hopper and Blackwell architectures.

Its peak altitude during the flight was 12,000 feet (3,660 meters) – which is under half that of a commercial plane at cruising altitude – but experts hope it will be able to reach 55,000 feet (16,800 metres).

 

Officially known as X-59, the manned aircraft is designed to pave the way for faster air travel at 'supersonic' speeds of up to 925mph.

At such as speed, it could transport paying passengers from London to New York in under four hours – revolutionizing the industry and freeing up time for busy businesspeople and holidaymakers.

'We are thrilled to achieve the first flight of the X-59,' said OJ Sanchez, vice president and general manager of Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works division.

'This aircraft is a testament to the innovation and expertise of our joint team, and we are proud to be at the forefront of quiet supersonic technology development.'

 

According to Lockheed Martin, X-59 performed 'exactly as planned' prior to its safe landing at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center.

However, the single-engine jet only reached speeds of 230mph, which is nowhere near its top speed of 925mph – much faster than the speed of sound (767mph).

Further test flights in the coming months will 'expand the X-59's flight envelope' and get closer to the plane's top flying speed, the aerospace company said.

Despite being short of the all-important speed threshold, experts hailed this latest milestone as 'a new era in supersonic flight'.

 

Sean Duffy, Secretary of the Department of Transportation and acting NASA administrator, called the experimental plane 'a symbol of American ingenuity'.

He said: 'The American spirit knows no bounds. It's part of our DNA – the desire to go farther, faster, and even quieter than anyone has ever gone before.

'This work sustains America's place as the leader in aviation and has the potential to change the way the public flies.'

X-59 is dubbed 'Son of Concorde' because it would be the first passenger plane to fly at supersonic speeds (faster than the speed of sound) since the days of the retired Anglo-French liner over 20 years ago.

One of the issues with Concorde that led to its retirement in 2003 was the 'sonic booms' it emitted as it flew.

Described as sounding somewhere between a thunderclap and an explosion, sonic booms happen when shock waves from an object travelling through the air faster than the speed of sound merge together before they reach the ground.

Concorde's sonic booms were often described as unsettling by members of the public on the ground below, which meant Concorde never replaced slower, more conventional aircraft.

In contrast, X-59’s thin, tapered nose accounts for almost a third of its length and breaks up the shock waves that usually result in a sonic boom, instead producing a quieter 'thump'.

 

Due to X-59's odd configuration, the cockpit is located almost halfway down the length of the aircraft – and the craft does not have a forward-facing window.

Instead, it's fitted with the 'eXternal Vision System', a series of high-resolution cameras feeding a 4K monitor in the cockpit.

Eventually, NASA – which will be the primary user – will fly the aircraft over cities across the US, which are yet to be selected.

It will collect feedback about the sound the X-59 generates and how people perceive it before providing the data to the Federal Aviation Administration.

 

NASA stresses that X-59 is one of its experimental crafts and is not a commercial airliner designed to carry passengers

However, if supersonic flight proves to be feasible, bulkier next-gen versions fitted out with passenger seats could transport paying passengers just like Concorde did.

For 50 years, the US prohibited supersonic flights because of disturbance caused by sonic booms to communities below, which was why Concorde was largely restricted to flights over the Atlantic – namely Paris to New York and London to New York.

The legendary plane was the world’s first supersonic airliner and operated for 27 years, but it was grounded in October 2003 largely due to high fuel costs, concern over its noise and a preference for lower fares over speed.

 

Ever since, no government or manufacturer has since been able to build a commercial plane that can travel faster than the speed of sound – although Lockheed Martin is not the only one trying.

Another American company called Boom Supersonic is working on its own supersonic craft, called Overture, which is eyeing commercial passenger flights in 2029.

Meanwhile, China is working on its own experimental supersonic plane, called Yunxing, which could go at three times that of X-59.

Jeremy Bird and Betsy Hoover, veterans of the Obama 2008 and 2012 campaigns, lost their first child, Elijah, after his premature birth last week. “We are devastated and heart broken,” Bird wrote Wednesday on his Facebook page. “We miss him more than we ever thought possible.”

 

“He really was beautiful. He had his dad’s nose, his mom’s mouth and even a little bit of hair. He was 11 inches long and weighed one pound, one ounce. He was precious, innocent, remarkable,” Bird said. “Unfortunately, Elijah came too soon. His lungs weren’t yet formed, and he was just not able to survive on his own. We lost our baby boy.”

 

Bird served as the national field director for President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign; Hoover was the campaign’s director of digital organizing. Bird was named by Rolling Stone as one of “The Obama Campaign’s Real Heroes” in a 2012 election recap.

"This is an airplane that we are converting into an electric aircraft in a major partnership with NASA, so you might be able to fly from Midtown Atlanta down to the airport — fly over traffic, similar to a helicopter," said Brian German, an aerospace engineering professor at Georgia Tech.

 

According to German, helicopters are difficult to utilize for daily travel because of their noise. He is hopeful that new, quiet propulsion systems can make this type of aircraft viable in cities.

The research team is also hopeful that this innovation could eventually replace business jets for short trips between cities, curbing air pollution and contributing less to rising global temperatures.

It was Knox and Hatfill who cut over $1 billion in corrupt biological weapons research from BARDA — including $500 million in contracts that funded the poisonous mRNA technology. It was Hatfill who was pushing for accountability for the approval of the toxic COVID jabs — and it was Hatfill who was pushing NIH to investigate the effect of those shots on women’s fertility.

 

The sudden firing of Dr. Hatfill mirrors my own experience at HHS as a MAHA loyalist.

 

Recently after my own departure from HHS, I attended a MAHA social event and was caught off guard at the attention I received. I thought it was odd — as there was nothing I had done to merit such praise. I quickly learned that it was because I had stood up to Secretary Kennedy’s “Deputy” Chief of Staff Stefanie Spear. One former HHS colleague told me in a hushed tone: “You were the first person at HHS to push back against her. Everyone in the building is scared shitless of her. Thank you for acting on our behalf.”

 

Who is Stefanie Spear? Most of Trump’s MAGA base would fail to pick her out of a lineup.Even most MAHA activists don’t know much about her, but they do know the number one rule in the world of RFK JR: you must go through Stefanie Spear to get to Bobby.

 

She’s the gatekeeper.

 

Stefanie Spear has been a close confidant of RFK Jr. for over 20 years. In 2011, RFK Jr. lent his name and credibility to Spear’s tiny environmental organization EcoWatch, helping launch its online environmental news service. From this platform, Spear spoke of the dangers of global warming — including blaming global warming (without evidence) for Hurricane Sandy and other large storms. She also appeared on a Communist Party USA sponsored panel to rail against “Big Oil” and the Keystone Pipeline.

 

During the 2016 presidential campaign, she authored a piece called “10 Reasons Bernie Sanders is ‘Rockin’ in the Free World.” In the piece, she praised Sanders and Pope Francis for their views on climate change. Spear’s political philosophy is much closer to a communist than the economic nationalist. Indeed, Kennedy campaign staffers told me she detested President Trump — calling him a fascist and a threat to democracy.

 

So how did a radical environmental activist — with little political or management experience — come to exert such extraordinary influence over the Secretary of Health and Human Services and, thus, over HHS and its sub-agencies? And why would RFK Jr. trust this person to do that job during the second Trump administration?

 

I know better than most what happened to Dr. Hatfill because it happened to me. I proudly served Secretary Kennedy, and President Trump, as Director of MAHA Implementation at HHS before my time was cut short by Stefanie Spear.

 

I lasted 52 days.

 

My job was to ensure there was a MAHA angle to everything we did at HHS. I loved my job and felt I was making a real difference, so I was disappointed it ended so suddenly. But, truth be told, it was an inevitability because Stefanie Spear never wanted me there in the first place.

 

Early in my tenure, I texted RFK Jr. about the resignation of UVA’s president, Jim Ryan. Having grown up in Charlottesville, I’d intended nothing more than to share information seemingly of interest to us both — but for Spear it was a gross and impermissible violation of norms. I got a reprimand by text almost immediately: “Please reach out to me on things you think the Secretary should amplify as we have a system for this.”

Translation: I was no longer able to contact the Secretary directly — though I had done so many times in the past.

When a person applies to work for Uber or Lyft they must fill out several online forms detailing important information, including their date of birth and their driver’s license.

 

Applicants must also provide more sensitive information such as their Social Security number.

 

New Northeastern research has revealed that until just recently those ride-hailing companies had been unintentionally sending that data to TikTok and Meta — two of the world’s largest social media companies.

 

“Lyft shared unsalted hashes of workers SSN with Facebook (Meta) and TikTok, while Uber shared unsalted hashes of SSN with Facebook,” the researchers wrote in the paper.

We all have our failings, of course, and Spear’s personal lack of charm would not be interesting to anyone (myself included) so long as the larger agenda is being served. After all, Washington DC is full of rude gatekeepers. The real question is whether Spear’s shortcomings, and her own bizarre relationship with the man she so slavishly serves, are undermining the Secretary — and the ambitious and vitally important MAHA agenda he represents.

 

Indeed, Stefanie Spear has ruthlessly sidelined even those people who fought side by side with Kennedy through much of his career against his Big Pharma and establishment foes. I expected Spear to have been close with these long-time activists but, for instance, when we were in Idaho with Health Freedom Defense Fund President Leslie Manookian (a good friend of the Secretary), Spear acted like she barely knew her. Spear’s relationship with her former colleagues at Children’s Health Defense was similarly cold. Her default attitude toward these MAHA activists was basically contempt.

 

During my brief period at HHS, I argued to Secretary Kennedy that (given the intensity of the opposition) what he desperately needed was a political warfare team to counter the forces tirelessly working against his agenda. After all, his enemies include: the uniparty, the military industrial complex, the pharmaceutical industry, chemical companies, processed food producers and Wall St.

 

My idea was for this team to map the opposition to Secretary Kennedy in Congress.But it never came to pass. As Stefanie Spear told me, her strategy — and I use the term loosely — was to rely upon Kennedy’s “special bond” with the President to advance his agenda. (A bond so special that Trump proudly announced that he received a COVID booster in October 2025.) As those of us who have supported Trump since day one, and have been intimately involved in “Trump World” well know, Trump is who he is. He operates largely by whim, and there is never a master plan. He wants to be liked and he often listens to the last person he spoke with. (Anons did Trump say it was a Covid booster it just a booster?I think I’d remember if he said Covid.)

In fact, we’ve already seen the tragic consequences for MAHA of the Spear/RFK approach with the July 10th approval of the Moderna SPIKEVAXX Covid vaccine for “high-risk” children. Then, just a couple weeks ago, President Trump rolled out the red carpet for Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, awarding Pfizer $70 billion, praising them for reshoring their poisonous drugs and vaccines, and telling them how great of a job they did during COVID, while Kennedy stood by. Never mind that RFK had previously called the company “a craven, venal, homicidal, morally bankrupt, criminal enterprise that has captured and corrupted its regulators.”

 

Another sign that Spear’s strategy doesn’t work: the FDA’s Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research Center Vinnay Prasad briefly resigned over a sophisticated and coordinated political warfare campaign (likely driven by the pharmaceutical industry) to remove him from his position. I warned my colleagues at HHS, and outsiders like Steve Bannon, that we needed to develop a plan to counter this information campaign — but we left him hanging in the wind instead.

 

So the sudden firing of Hatfill is part of a disturbing trend. I hope that Stefanie Spear was not immature enough to remove him to settle a personal grievance — but I know she is perfectly capable of that childish blunder. What’s even more troubling is whether Dr. Hatfill’s firing is connected to a larger coup against RFK JR as outlined by Sayer Ji. I was contacted last week by an MSNBC reporter who is writing a profile on John Knox. Why would a reporter be assigned to write a story on Knox — who’s a little-known official — a few days before Hatfill is fired?

 

This smells like a coordinated operation to me.

 

I continue to hope that RFK Jr. is aware of all these matters — and that he directed the firing of Dr. Hatfill (a move I would have argued against) after careful consideration.

 

I fear, however, that something very careless and very stupid happened.

 

The MAHA movement deserves to know whether RFK Jr. is actually running HHS or whether Stefanie Spear is in charge. Or perhaps it’s Susie Wiles and Big Pharma behind the curtain?

 

We deserve to know.

Men experience greater eye changes from spaceflight, while brain differences between sexes are subtle

A new study into how spaceflight impacts the human brain and eyes revealed notable sex differences in brain fluid shifts, with female astronauts showing a greater reduction in fluid around the uppermost part of the brain than their male counterparts.

Led by Rachael D. Seidler, Ph.D., director of the University of Florida’s Astraeus Space Institute and professor of applied physiology and kinesiology, the study analyzed data from astronauts to determine how factors such as sex, age and body metrics relate to structural brain and eye changes after space travel.

The findings, published in August in npj Microgravity, provide key information for protecting astronaut health on long-duration missions to the moon and Mars.

 

This is one of the first studies to look at sex differences in the physiological response to spaceflight.

“The data on sex differences in response to spaceflight are scant, given the historically low number of female astronauts,” Seidler said. “Our dataset was still only approximately one-quarter females, but since the overall dataset was fairly large we were able to examine sex differences.”

In addition to changes in fluid around the brain, the team also found that a form of eye compression, a hallmark of Spaceflight Associated Neuro-ocular Syndrome known as globe flattening, was the most consistent eye change among crew members.

 

“By far the most prevalent sign of eye changes that we observed was globe flattening, suggesting that this should be the primary monitoring target for ocular health,” Seidler said. “Interestingly, eye changes were more prevalent in males than females.”

Globe flattening, when the back of the eyeball becomes slightly indented or pushed inward, might sound minor, but it can have significant effects on vision and raise concerns for long-duration space missions.

Surprisingly, there was no strong link between brain structural changes and eye changes, suggesting that the effects on the eyes and brain may arise from distinct mechanisms rather than shared physiological causes.

 

The research underscores UF’s growing leadership in space health science. Through the Astraeus Space Institute, Seidler leads multidisciplinary collaborations that connect neuroscience, physiology and space research to advance human performance and safety in spaceflight.

“We used UF's HiPerGator computing cluster for our analyses in this study, enabling us to analyze our data at high speeds,” Seidler said.

Ford wants U.S. envoy to apologize for ‘unacceptable’ comments to Ontario trade rep

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is calling on the U.S. ambassador to Canada to apologize to the province’s trade representative, saying Pete Hoekstra’s behaviour was “absolutely unacceptable,” but added he felt he got “heated.”

 

“Pete, you gotta call Dave up and apologize, it’s simple, the cheese slipped off the cracker,” Ford said Wednesday. “I get it, you’re ticked off, but call the guy up because you’re a good guy and Dave’s my champion.”

 

Ford was referring to a report in the Globe and Mail that Hoekstra went on what was called an expletive-filled dressing-down against Ontario’s trade representative, David Paterson, at the annual Canadian American Business Council gala on Monday over a commercial Ford’s government released last week.

 

“Absolutely unacceptable, never heard anything about it. All I’m getting at, I’m not telling him, I’m suggesting, you get hot-headed one day, call Dave up and say, ‘I apologize. Sorry. Got a little heated,'” Ford said when asked if the comments were acceptable for a diplomat.

 

The premier said he likes Hoekstra and called him a “good guy,” but urged the ambassador to apologize and “bury the hatchet.”

 

The reported comments by Hoekstra came just days after U.S. President Donald Trump announced he was ending trade talks with Canada over the $75-million ad campaign.

 

That ad featured former Republican president Ronald Reagan’s views on tariffs and protectionism, and raised the anger of Trump, who has repeatedly called it a “fraud.”

 

Trump also announced Saturday he would be adding a 10 per cent tariff on top of already existing duties on Canada, though he did not say how or when the tariffs would roll out.
