They have a rather massive presence in Manitoba, Canada. Joseph Hawkins, a Chiropractor in Winnipeg (and the founder of stoplying.ca - the original .ca conspiracy site), lost his wife and almost lost his son to this cult. Thankfully, he had the courage (rare in leafs) to fight back.

Enbridge’s Line 5 pipeline carries more than a half a million barrels of oil and products per day from Alberta, across the border into the U.S., and ultimately to refineries back in Canada at the major refining and petrochemical hub of Sarnia, Ontario.

The 540,000-bpd pipeline may be in trouble, however. The state of Michigan just launched a lawsuit, which could force Enbridge to shut the pipeline down. Michigan is concerned about the possibility of a leak from the aging pipeline, which crosses under the Straits of Mackinac. A leak could threaten drinking water and spoil the scenic Great Lakes.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer promised to stop the “flow of oil through the Great Lakes as soon as possible.”

Enbridge has been trying to build a replacement for the pipeline, which is nearly 70 years old. But the replacement proposal has been a huge point of contention. Michigan’s attorney general is hoping to shut it down. The risk the state most fears is an anchor strike.

Ship carrying waste arrives back in Canada from the Philippines

TORONTO (Reuters) - A ship carrying 69 containers of waste mislabeled as plastic recyclables returned to Canada on Saturday from the Philippines, closing a chapter on a dispute that started in 2013 and sparked a diplomatic furor between Ottawa and Manila.

The shipment was taken off the container ship Anna Maersk docked close to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and arrived at GCT Deltaport in Delta, British Columbia, part of Greater Vancouver, GCT said in a statement.

Sarah Lusk, Metro Vancouver spokeswoman, said the waste would be sent to a Waste-to-Energy facility in Burnaby where it will be incinerated, but added that there was "uncertainty with respect to timing" and the facility may not receive the waste over the weekend.

The waste containers became part of a diplomatic dispute between Manila and Ottawa, as the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte threatened Canada with war and withdrew top diplomats from Canada after Canada missed a May 15 deadline to take back the waste.

The waste was shipped to the Philippines in 2013 and 2014 and mislabeled as recyclable plastics. Instead, it was filled with garbage including used diapers and newspapers. A Philippine court ruled in 2016 that it be returned.

Canada made arrangements in late May to accept the containers and said they hired Bollore Logistics Canada to safely bring them back as soon as possible.

Waste disposal has emerged as a topic of political dispute between Southeast Asian countries and the developed world, with Malaysia in May becoming the latest to demand nations such as the United States, Japan, France, Canada, Australia and Britain take back 3,000 tonnes of plastic waste.

The government department Environment and Climate Change Canada told Reuters earlier this month that the government was in talks with Malaysia to recover the plastic waste that originated from Canada.

One of Canada’s biggest pension funds has quietly divested from two private prison operators responsible for the detention of thousands of migrants along the US-Mexico border.

Late last year, the Guardian reported that the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) held nearly US$8m in stock in Geo Group and CoreCivic, which between them hold the lion’s share of contracts to manage Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (Ice) detention facilities in the US.

The CPPIB, which manages C$392bn (US$299m) in pension funds on behalf of 20 million Canadians, did not make a public statement when it dropped the two companies from its list of foreign public equity holdings, but the change was spotted this week by the federal MP Charlie Angus, a member of the opposition New Democratic party.

On Friday, he called on the CPPIB to publicly acknowledge the divestment and take a position on ethical investing.

There are times when you read a book that completely change your understanding of the world, answering questions you have had for most of your life, and even better, answering questions you did not know you had. This is such a book. Duchesne unites economic analysis, anthropology, history and philosophy in order to make a compelling argument for why Western civilization is truly unique and unlike any other civilization.

Since writing this book, Duchesne has been influenced by white nationalist writers into seeking genetic answers for the uniqueness of the West. But the current book is free from genetic explanations. Duchesne also has a very negative view of Muslims, considering them unassimilable and inherently opposed to Western civilization. But that shouldn’t stop us from benefiting from his work. One of the most hateful fashions in the media and academia today is discarding a person’s valuable work because of their beliefs and motives.

Duchesne’s greatest contribution is his theory that the uniqueness of the West comes from the fact that the ancient Indo-Europeans who took over Europe had a very special feature: their elite was made up of individually sovereign aristocrats. While all societies throughout the world have had aristocratic elites, what was unique about the West was the fact that its aristocrats were individualized and free. This is extremely unusual and as far as I know it was something that never existed anywhere else.

The ancient Middle East never enjoyed the existence of individually sovereign aristocrats. The elite under the pharaohs had no right to compete with each other for renown and prestige because all renown and prestige belonged solely to the pharaoh. The same was true in ancient Mesopotamia and Persia. The king was the only person who had the right to claim personal worth and glory.

But among the Europeans, the Greeks, Romans and the Indo-European barbarians around them, the entire arrangement of society revolved around the competition of its sovereign aristocrats for personal prestige and glory. They had no toleration for kings who reduced the aristocracy to mere minions and slaves as happened throughout the world. They demanded equality and free competition.

Thus in the Greek epic the Iliad, the warrior aristocracy is made up of free individuals who recognized no master above them. Achilles, Ajax and Odysseus were all sovereign individuals. The Mesopotamian Epic of Gilgamesh, on the other hand, is an illustration of the situation outside the European realm. There is only one hero, who is, naturally, a despotic king. There is no room in this epic for other heroes since these societies were organized around the recognition of a single individual in the entire state who could claim personal prestige and glory.

The theory of the presence of a sovereign aristocracy in the West and its absence elsewhere also explains why the Indo-Europeans of Persia and India failed to create civilizations equal to those of Europe. The Indo-Europeans who took over Persia and India quickly embraced the Oriental despotic form of rule that has always existed in these areas. The sovereign aristocracy disappeared to be replaced by all-powerful rulers. The reason for this change appears to be different natural environments. The European climate could support individual farmers who could sustain themselves without any need for complex irrigation systems that required centralization. In the East, however, civilizations were extremely dependent on irrigation systems that made farmers desperately dependent on their chiefs and kings. The king could easily cause the farmers to starve by refusing to provide them with the irrigation systems they were so desperately dependent on.

The Westernization of the World

If we take the ideas in Uniqueness seriously and ignore Duchesne’s recent writings about the genetic uniqueness of Europeans, the conclusion is that the great accomplishments of the West are a matter of culture. The door is open for any culture in the world to embrace the Western system, leading to a similar flowering of creativity and accomplishment. The key is individualism. The culture must recognize the equal dignity, mastery and right to prestige of all citizens, rather than recognizing only one despotic ruler who monopolizes mastery and prestige.

Thus any culture that embraces the Western ideal of the equality of citizens before the law will create a system that will lead to a similar restless drive among citizens for accomplishment. According to the social scientists Santos, Varnum and Grossmann, there has been a significant increase in individualism throughout the world. The world is increasingly adopting the Western ideal of sovereign individuality.

I was surprised to discover that one of the most popular Arabic songs on YouTube (with 154 million views) is a song that preaches strict individualism, titled “Be You”.

The Israeli social scientists Licht, Goldschmid and Schwartz have discovered that there is a very strong correlation between individualism and the rule of law, non-corruption and democratic accountability. As individualism increases throughout the world, we can expect more and more functional democracies to come into existence.

The “Wickedness” of the West

According to the currently fashionable ideology at the sociology departments of Western universities, the West is uniquely evil. It doesn’t matter that the Chinese colonized the lands of ethnic minorities and sometimes massacred them; it is the Western colonization of other lands that is unforgivable. It doesn’t matter that the native Americans slaughtered and enslaved each other, or that the Aztecs practiced mass human sacrifice; it is the intrusion of the West into this utterly evil and inhuman social system that is unforgivable. It doesn’t matter that Africans used to enslave each other by the millions; it is the fact of Westerners buying these slaves that is unforgivable. It doesn’t matter that India has an utterly racist and dehumanizing cast system or that Israel is an apartheid state; it is the racial inequalities in the West that is unforgivable.

The action of the Europeans on the world scene over the past few centuries were clearly motivated by much greed for wealth and power. But a person who does not have an ax to grind against Westerners will see them and their actions as no worse than those of the rest of the peoples of the world. And not just that, but such a person will also appreciate the uniquely positive and humane contributions that the West has made to make the lot of non-Westerners better. It was the British who spent vast amounts of wealth, and large numbers of the lives of their own, to police the seas in the 19th century to put an end to the slave trade. Yes, the British engaged in it before, like almost all other peoples. But it was they, and not the Chinese, Indians, Muslims or Africans who developed an anti-slavery ideology that ensured that slavery would be abolished throughout the world. But to those who are moved by hate against the West, this is irrelevant. The West is evil, and the facts do not matter.

China as the West’s Equal

There is a concerted academic effort aimed at showing that China was equal to the West until the 1800’s when the West discovered the use of coal and gained access to the colonized Americas. The point is to show that Western civilization has nothing to be proud of in being responsible for the intellectual and industrial revolutions that made it the supreme world power by the 19th century. The West simply enjoyed “windfalls” in its easy access to coal and in its access to colonial markets.

We are supposed to believe that the West was stuck in the same position as China in the 19th century, with the population quickly approaching its ecological limits. This truly was the case in China, where a lack of innovation coupled with maximized land use meant that the population could no longer expand beyond its 350 million citizens. It was already producing food at the maximum rate it could, and the only solution for keeping their population under control was widespread female infanticide (something that is supposed to be morally neutral since it wasn’t Westerners doing it).

Britain is supposed to have enjoyed a “windfall” in its acquisition of the Americas, but the historian Kenneth Pomerantz shows no interest in China’s bloody colonization of vast swathes of non-Chinese lands to the west over the centuries. In his distorted worldview “colonization” is something that only Europeans do. Pomerantz also shows no interest in the “windfall” that China enjoyed in possessing lands capable of growing rice; a crop that produces two harvests per year. He also shows no interest in the fact that China greatly benefited from the use of potatoes–a “windfall” crop acquired from the Americas.

The first part of Duchesne’s book is dedicated to refuting the current academic narrative of a China that was a counterpart to the West until the 19th century. He shows that the West was improving its technology and capacity to support its population at a rate that enabled it to continue to support growing populations. This was something China was incapable of due to its lack of innovation.

“Eurocentrics” like Duchesne have been characterized as believing that the West achieved its supremacy without any debts to other cultures. But Duchesne clearly opposes such a view:

By 1200, Europe had recovered much of the scientific and philosophical accomplishment produced within the rest of the world. Persian, Byzantine, Chinese, Indian, African, and Islamic cultures were essential ingredients in Europe’s ascendancy. Affirming the uniqueness of Western civilization in no way implies the idea that Europe can be viewed as a self-contained civilization. A major secret of European creativeness was precisely its multicultural inheritance and its wider geographical linkages with the peoples of the world.

Humans as Passive Animals

One of Duchesne’s major efforts is to refute the popular academic conception of humans as passive actors in world history, controlled by circumstances and environments that made them what they are. Duchesne argues that Westerners were active agents who sought wealth and prestige, not passive agents who couldn’t help doing what they did due to economic circumstances.

The view of humans as passive animals stuck in their circumstances is often associated with Marx, although I believe that we can detect the same strains of thought in many other highly influential 19th and 20th century intellectual movements, almost all of them led by Jewish thinkers.

Marx: Humans are passive animals controlled by economic class conflict.

Freud: Humans are passive animals controlled by sexuality-based conflict within families.

The Frankfurt School (Horkheimer, Adorno and Marcuse): Humans are passive animals controlled by social pathologies peculiar to the Western-Christian mentality.

Betty Friedan aka Bettye Naomi Goldstein: Humans are passive animals controlled by sex-based class conflict (Marxism translated into feminism).

Louis Brandeis and Ronald Dworkin: Humans are passive animals who do not know what is good for them; the elite must gain control of the legal system to force upon them what is good for them.

Leo Strauss and his neo-conservative students: Humans (meaning ordinary Christians) are passive animals to be controlled by an atheistic philosophical elite behind the scenes.

Jacques Derrida: Humans are passive animals controlled by dominant discourses that maintain power structures.

Immanuel Wallerstein and Andre Gunder Frank: Humans are passive animals controlled by dominant “world systems”.

Jared Diamond: Humans are passive animals controlled by environmental forces.

The only major non-Jewish intellectual who espoused similar ideas is Michel Foucault.

What unites all of these thinkers is their elitism. This elite can see where others are blind. They stand above the masses. They are outsiders who can see how the game works while the average Westerner is stuck inside the game not even realizing it is a game.

Another thing that unites them is their hatred and disgust for gentile, Western, Christian society.

It should go without saying that this view of humans as passive animals in need of being led by the elite is wholly alien to Western aristocratic egalitarianism, or its modern equivalent: Western individualism. All of the Jewish-led movements above are characterized by their authoritarianism. Freud, for example, maintained a very close inner circle of psychoanalysts (almost all of whom were Jewish, which led a rabbi to calling psychoanalysis a Jewish religious cult). Disagreement with Freud’s ideas was strictly forbidden. He was the messiah from whom all truth came.

These radical intellectual movements are all opposed to the Western ideal of free, democratic debate. In the Western mind, scientists and scholars are all equal, involved in the same search for truth. But these radical intellectual movements have no interest in truth; truth is what comes out of the mouth of the leader. Thus all of these radical intellectual movements can be thought of as an importation of Oriental despotism (only the leader has the right to a free intellect) into the Western intellectual atmosphere.

The harms of these intellectual movements cannot be understated. The Jewish Marxist evolutionist Stephen J. Gould, for example, ushered in 30 years of persecution against evolutionary scientists who studied the influence of genes on human behavior. The science journalist Robert Wright writes:

I argued, basically, that Gould is a fraud. He has convinced the public that he is not merely a great writer, but a great theorist of evolution. Yet, among top-flight evolutionary biologists, Gould is considered a pest–not just a lightweight, but an actively muddled man who has warped the public’s understanding of Darwinism.

Despite his low scientific standing and his recognition by serious scholars as a fraud, Gould’s influence continues, supported by a circle of disciples who continue embellish his name and treat his words as the unquestionable words of a messiah. The influence of people like Gould means that to this day the most scientifically-supported field of psychology (psychometrics, i.e. the study of intelligence or IQ) continues to be looked at as unscientific.

All of the above radical movements (the most important today being the mix of cultural Marxism and postmodernism that rules in academia) are pests on intellectual development and scholarship and will ultimately be squashed by the constant, restless, innocent search for truth that continues to characterize many Westerners, and today, non-Westerners. I have high hopes in the increase of Muslim participation in intellectual fields. Muslims who follow Islamic morality will reject the relativization of truth and will continue the Western tradition of the innocent search for truth.

The Islamic Doctorate

One minor criticism I have is Duchesne’s lack of knowledge of George Makdisi’s work. Thus Duchesne thinks that the crucial development of doctorates and the “the license to teach” (professorship) were uniquely Western, when Makdisi’s work strongly suggests that these were borrowed from Islam (as I discuss here). Islam did have a doctorate (the taʿliqa) that granted the person professorship. Islam also invented the idea of academic freedom. What Islam failed to do was extend this concept to other fields of inquiry. The doctorate and professorship were strictly limited to Islamic law. This was borrowed by the West, but crucially, the West extended it to all fields of inquiry.

The West learned a great deal from Islam. But its culture of aristocratic egalitarianism meant that Westerners were far more motivated to take these ideas further in competition with each other.

History and Philosophy

Duchesne dedicates a great deal of writing to discussing Hegel’s views on the development of human consciousness out of the conflict between individuals. Duchesne believes that Hegel’s views on history actually only apply to Europeans rather than all humans. Hegel believed that human self-consciousness developed out of a “struggle to the death” with other humans. Hegel believed that a struggle to the death between two humans would end up in one of them enslaving the other. This is an unsatisfactory end because the master cannot accomplish true self-consciousness unless another master recognizes him. Therefore the true development of history requires the presence of multiple masters recognizing each other.

Duchesne rejects common interpretations of Hegel to suggest that this struggle is not just an abstract concept, but a description of the reality of the struggle to the death between barbarian European aristocrats, who accomplished self-consciousness through struggling with each other for prestige. Europeans accomplished self-consciousness before all other peoples because only they had a culture of sovereign aristocrats rather than omnipotent, despotic lords.

Duchesne says that there is an “unbroken link” between the earliest European Indo-Europeans who came out of the Pontic steppe north of the Black Sea, the ancient Greeks, the Romans, the various Germanic and Scandinavian barbarians, and the culture of medieval Europe to the present day. The process of the struggle to the death between aristocrats led to the development of the concept of equal citizens before the law. Only Europeans could have developed such a concept because only they had a social system defined by the existence of multiple, equal masters, rather than a system defined by the existence of a single master (a Pharaoh, a Persian “king of kings” or a Chinese emperor).

The Westernization of Islamic Studies

As I mentioned earlier, if we accept the theory that the West’s uniqueness comes from its recognition of the dignity and rights of the individual, then the spread of these ideas throughout the world means that the entire world is now part of the same Western system. Gone are the days when only Westerners competed with each other for individual prestige through innovation.

A very interesting aspect of the spread of Western aristocratic egalitarianism is the way Muslim intellectuals and scholars today have started to challenge the scholarly tradition of Oriental despotism that characterized Islamic studies in the past. What we have today are thousands of intellectuals and scholars throughout the world who are bravely challenging long-held beliefs in their individualist search for truth. They have, for example, defended women’s right to divorce and the right of Muslims to leave Islam without being molested, not by discarding Islamic teachings out of a desire to live up to Western standards, but by recognizing that Islam actually supports these views.

In the case of Christianity, the individualist search for truth meant that it suffered persistent attacks on its foundations as philologists in the 19th and 20th centuries subjected its texts and beliefs to rigorous scholarly study and debate. The view of many Westerners unfamiliar with Islam is that Islam too will have its foundations weakened as its study becomes more scientific. But the reality as I see it is quite the opposite. If Islam is really “true”, then it will survive the process intact.

And that is what I see all around me. Having benefited from the latest Western studies of Islam, my view of Islam’s validity has only strengthened. Those who look forward to the secularization of the world may take comfort in the history of the weakening of Christianity, believing that Islam will go through a similar process. But my view is that those hopes will never materialize. Western students of Islamic studies such as Jonathan Brown and Umar Wymann-Landgraf, who have subjected the Islamic scriptures (in their case the Hadith literature) to rigorous Western-style analysis have actually ended up converting to Islam.

We are also seeing a possible trend of anti-Islam activists converting. Joram van Klaveren, a close ally of the anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders, in the middle of writing an anti-Islam book, ended up converting. What other religion in the world has such a power? US And Italy To Conduct Open Skies Spy Missions Over Russia

About a week after a Russian spy plane was spotted over Quebec, a Canadian Province, conducting surveillance operations under the Treaty on Open Skies, a new report specifies the US and Italy are currently flying reconnaissance planes over Russia under the treaty.

On July 22, Krasnaya Zvezda (Red Star) reported that a modified Russian military Tu-154M-Lk-1 aircraft would be conducting a 3,800-mile surveillance operation between 22 and 28 of July. Red Star said the route had been agreed on with Canadian officials and that officials will be on board to monitor systems that will be taking images of the country's military sites.

With the Russian surveillance operation over Canada wrapped up, a new report from TASS News indicates US and Italian Armed Forces are now conducting Open Skies observation missions over Russia through August 02.

It has also been reported that Russia will conduct surveillance operations over Norway, Red Star said Monday, citing Acting Chief of the National Nuclear Risk Reduction Center Ruslan Shishin.

"Russia plans to conduct an observation flight over Norway in accordance with the Open Skies Treaty using an Antonov An-30 survey aircraft. The flight will be carried out from the Bardufoss Open Skies airfield between July 29 and August 2," the newspaper wrote.

"At the same time… the United States and Italy will carry out a joint observation mission over Russia from the Kubinka airfield on an OC-135B Open Skies United States Air Force observation aircraft."

Subway Loses Lawsuit Against Journalists Who Discovered Chicken Strips Only 43% Actual Chicken

Four years after learning their longtime spokesman was a giant pedophile, Subway has suffered yet another embarrassment after a Canadian court threw out a $210 million lawsuit against journalists who tested the company’s meat, only to discoer that Subway chicken contains as little as 42.8% actual chicken.

In February 2017, the Canadian Broadcasting Company’s Marketplace DNA tested six different pieces of chicken from five fast food restaurants – finding that poultry from A&W, McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, and Wendy’s contained between 88.5% and 89.4% chicken DNA.

Subway?

53.6% for their oven roasted chicken contained actual chicken, and 42.8% of their chicken strips. According to the CBC, the rest of it was soy protein, according to VICE.

Needless to say, Subway was a little upset – filing a $210 million lawsuit against the CBC, claiming the study was “recklessly and maliciously” published and that the DNA test “lacked scientific rigor.”

The company claims lost customers, lost reputation, and that they had lost a “significant” amount of sales according to the report.

“The accusations made by CBC Marketplace about the content of our chicken are absolutely false and misleading,” the company said after the report was published.

Nearly three years later, the suit has been tossed.

But at the end of November, the The Ontario Superior Court threw Subway’s lawsuit out, ruling that the CBC’s program was an example of investigative journalism, and was protected under an anti-SLAPP (“Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation”) statute that “encourages individuals to express themselves on matters of public interest,” without the fear that they’ll be sued if they speak out. The son of dictator Col. Muammar Gaddafi was paid $160-million in kickbacks for steering major contracts in Libya to SNC-Lavalin, Canada’s biggest engineering and construction company, police are alleging, adding some of it paid for luxury yachts.

An RCMP search warrant document unsealed Friday said the bribes were paid to Saadi Gaddafi by Riadh Ben Aissa, who was then vice-president of Montreal-based SNC-Lavalin. Mr. Ben Aissa has since left the company and is now jailed in Switzerland.

In the sworn statement, the RCMP also implicated Mr. Ben Aissa and former SNC-Lavalin controller Stéphane Roy in an alleged plot to smuggle Mr. Gaddafi and his family to Mexico as the Libyan dictatorship was falling to NATO-backed rebels in 2011.

The 59-page RCMP statement was used last April 11 to obtain a warrant to search the Montreal headquarters of SNC-Lavalin. When the search was executed on April 13, police would not explain what they were looking for. Nor have Swiss authorities explained why they are holding Mr. Ben Aissa.

This is another of those horrifying documents with a happy sounding name, sort of like the “Patriot” Act. In August of this year, the Department of Homeland Security cheerfully announced:

If you read past the immigration rhetoric in this Op-Ed, you’ll find that much of what American border patrol officers can do on Canadian soil is against the law in Canada…if Canadians do it.

The author writes:

U.S. officials can now carry sidearms in these preclearance zones, conduct strip searches, record and keep passenger information, and detain Canadian citizens.

Even if a Canadian official is “unwilling” to conduct a search or has deemed a detainment unnecessary, a U.S. official can override that call. In other words, Canadian law enforcement can now be countermanded within Canada by Americans.

This new authority also allows U.S. border guards to deny Canadians their right of withdrawal. Before the amendment to the law was enacted, if a person felt at all uncomfortable in the course of preclearance questioning she could simply leave, retracting her intention to cross the border with no penalty.

Now, as a result of amendments, the guard is entitled to detain her if he finds “reasonable grounds” to do so. And the request to leave in itself could be construed as reasonable grounds.

So before the Canadian even leaves Canada they can be strip-searched, questioned, and detained by AMERICANS. On Canadian soil.

Canada has a secret program that allows certain “high-profile” foreign nationals who would otherwise be barred from entering the country due to national security concerns, war crimes, human rights violations and organized crime to be granted special “public policy” entry visas so long as it is in Canada’s “national interest.”

This type of “national interest letter” can be issued by any federal department or the head of a Canadian mission abroad, such as an ambassador or high commissioner.

A review of annual reports submitted to Parliament by IRCC — which contain few details about the policy — shows that 3,000 of these visas were issued between 2010 and 2017.

According to the bulletin, the final decision on whether to issue this type of visa is made at the most senior levels of IRCC after each case is evaluated.

This, he said, is because so many details about the policy are kept secret and because it creates a double-standard where “high-profile” people the CBSA thinks should be barred from entering Canada are let in while those who do not have the same power, money or influence are kept out.

“By doing it in a secretive, sort of clandestine manner, they’re hiding from the public the fact that they’re even engaging in this,” he said.

“This is extremely concerning, it’s extremely undemocratic… and Canadians have a right to know.”

The investigation found that one employee with airport security clearance reportedly shared Islamic State propaganda videos, including graphic imagery of torture and murder, through social media accounts.

Another individual, according to the report, suggested that the November 2015 Paris massacre, carried out by Islamic State agents, needed to be replicated.

One of the radicalized employees reportedly had direct access to runways and aircrafts at Montreal’s airport. This employee allegedly had a great deal of knowledge and documentation about military-calibre assault weapons.

And yet, according to the report, this individual still works at the airport, and has simply been moved to a new post — away from runways and aircraft.

But significant security red flags — like radicalized Islamic State followers working at a major international airport — should not be ignored.

In 1921, with the formation of the League of Nations as the first attempt at consolidating a one world federation, a new coordinating network was instituted in London known as the Royal Institute for International Affairs (aka: “Chatham House”). The original order was given to form this network by the head of the London Round table Group Lionel Curtis in a 1919 Paris meeting. The funds would be provided primarily by the Astor Family which owned the Times of London. The American branch would be called the Council on Foreign Relations and its sister organization the Institute of Pacific Relations would be set up

in 1925 incorporating twelve countries along the Pacific ocean. Every major commonwealth nation would establish Institutes for International Affairs in subsequent years.

To provide as direct an insight into the psychology of the Roundtable founders in regards to Canada, the United States and world governance, the eminent historian Carroll Quigley documents in his book Tragedy and Hope:

“The members of this group worked valiantly to extend the British Empire and to organize it in a federal system. They were constantly harping on the lessons to be learned from the failure of the American Revolution and the success of the Canadian federation of 1867, and hoped to federate the various parts of the empire as seemed feasible, then confederate the whole of it, with the United Kingdom, into a single organization.”

The Canadian Roundtable, then headed by Vincent Massey and George Parkin de Glazebrooke would follow the British lead by instituting the Canadian Institute for International Affairs (CIIA) in 1928 whose first director was none other than the former Prime Minister Sir Robert Borden. Using his connections through the Masonic Orange Order and Roundtable Groups, Borden was able to become Prime Minister by defeating Wilfred Laurier and the Reciprocity Treaty of 1911 (2). In 1917, Laurier would write to a friend:

“Canada is now governed by a junta sitting at London, known as “The Round Table”, with ramifications in Toronto, in Winnipeg, in Victoria, with Tories and Grits receiving their ideas from London and insidiously forcing them on their respective parties.”

With a grant provided through the Massey Foundation, a young Rhodes Scholar by the name of Escott Reid would be assigned the duty of serving as the first full time National Secretary for the CIIA in 1932. Reid would be among a large contingent of Rhodes Scholars that would advocate world government, and push the doctrine of a World Government System replacing the obsolete Nation State system. He would write:

“It would be easier and more self respecting for Canada to give up to an international body on which it was represented, the decision on which it should go to war than to transfer the right to make that decision from the government in Ottawa to the government in Washington.. It would thus appear probable that effective military cooperation between Canada and the United States is possible only within the framework of an effective world order of which both Canada and the United States are loyal members.”

Escott Reid would be among a group of Oxford men conditioned to become Fabian Socialists under the tutelage of such Oxford eugenics luminaries as George Bernard Shaw, H.G. Welles, Bertrand Russell, John Maynard Keynes and Harold Laski. In 1932, this a nest of Fabian Rhodes Scholars would be activated which would include F.R. Scott, Frank Underhill, Eugene Forsey, Graham Spry and Escott Reid to found the Fabian Society modelled “League for Social Reconstruction” whose Regina Manifesto would set the foundations for Tommy Douglas’s Cooperative Commonwealth Federation (CCF). This set would be among the recruiters of Fabian CIIA asset, Pierre Elliot Trudeau after his London conditioning in 1949.

The CIIA under the likes of Walter Lockhart Gordon, Vincent Massey, and Reid would set the foundation for Canada’s transformation into the political and cultural model for the New World Order whose promise of establishing “world peace” and “environmental protection” would be Orwellian code words for “depopulation” and “world fascism”.

Canada Must Ban George Soros Foundations Now (FREEPOM)

It’s of paramount importance that Canada and other nations cut off foreign funding to civil society groups and foundations which operate within their borders. These foundations and organizations represent outside forces which have ulterior motives and agendas which may not always, if ever, be aligned with the needs of the people.

One such foreign “philanthropic” organization is the George Soros funded Open Society Foundation. This foundations sole purpose is the promotion and expansion of the liberal-left international agenda meant to reduce national sovereignty, fund and support massive migration, such as is taking place in Europe, and the promote the mandate of open borders.

Soros and his foundations have provided the majority of funding for liberal-left social justice movements which have eroded national identity, encouraged abortion and divorce, and promote extremist environmentalism and taxation, such as the carbon tax scams which are being implemented in western nations.

Along with giving billions to left-wing socialist organizations Soros also attempts to influence elections, as in the recent American election and other nations. Even within nations his foundations fund and support groups such as the Dogwood Initiative based in British Columbia. This group’s stated goal is to influence Canadian elections in federal ridings.

The attempts to remove American sovereignty have been halted by the election of Donald Trump which is why Soros is now funding the protests against the Trump administration. The control which Soros has over the news media comes from his funding and support for the progressive media watchdog group called Media Matters. The term “media watchdog” should be interpreted as “ensuring the promotion of liberal-left propaganda”.

The MoveOn.org progressive advocacy group is also funded by the foundations of George Soros. Its purpose is to raise millions of dollars for liberal candidates and is behind such liberal propaganda as comparing political opposition to Hitler. We have seen these comparisons from Russian leader Vladimir Putin to most recently with Donald Trump.

Soros also funds the progressive think tank Center for American Progress. The CAP has provided talking points to the Obama Administration and former White House Chief of Staff John Podesta even heads up the group. Obama’s staff consisted of a large percentage of CAP personalities.

The Open Society Foundation has even infiltrated the education systems of most nations by funding curriculum studies and implementing changes to the education courses. This has been happening for so long now that most western teachers are promoting the liberal-left agenda without even realizing they have been manipulated and conditioned to destroy their own culture from within.

Some of the foundations historical successes have been the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Arab Spring which further fragmented the Middle East and caused massive death and the ongoing migration problem which is affecting the whole world.

The amount George Soros gives to the liberal international agenda is billions, but still only a fraction of his reported $23 billion worth.

Most nations have some form of law or regulation which prevents foreign entitites from funding and influencing elections. The way the Open Society works around this is by establishing domestic foundations within nations with no direct ties to the larger parent. These groups are funded by the larger Soros foundation which serves as a third party. The domestic foundation can then work to influence the elections within the country because once the money is given to them it is no longer considered foreign money or influence. This needs to change.

So in most cases it is impossible to determine if foreign interests have influenced Canadian elections, or the elections of other nations, because none of the funding has to be registered or reported to the governments of those nations.

George Soros is evening funding a progressive war against Israel and has, for all intents and purposes, successfully infiltrated its extreme environmental agenda into the Catholic Church. There is no political ideology or religion which is off limits. The liberal-left international agenda has even taken control of the United Nations over the last few decades and is now attempting to force a loss of sovereignty on member nations through sustainable development planning, such as Agenda 2030.

In the post The Take Down of George has Begun, I explained how the world is beginning to turn against George Soros and his Open Society Foundation. Russia, the favorite Soros punching back (mainly because Putin stopped his revolution in Ukraine) has already passed laws banning the Open Society and its broad funding to domestic groups. (This particular post has been copied and spread around the globe through re-posts and YouTube videos, reaching millions of people.)

Since that post the home nation of Soros Hungary has also enacted legislation to ban the Open Society Foundation and all subsidiary organizations and those who receive funding. Macedonia has also started a massive movement called “Stop Operation Soros” which is meant to remove all traces and influence of the foundation from its internal politics.

This war against George Soros is only just beginning.

President Trump will be taking action against Soros in the weeks and months to come, as will other nations. It is time for Canada to take action now against George Soros and his Open Society Foundation. Our liberal-left socialist government is aligned with both Soros and the mandates of the United Nations. The same agenda is attempting to take control and/or keep control of Canadian provinces through the same tactics as described above. Our media is in alliance with this agenda, just like the major news media in the United States are aligned against Trump.

Even our non-liberal political parties, such as the Progressive Conservatives, both federal and provincial, promote the mandates and propaganda of the Open Society Foundation. The Alberta PC Party is tripping over itself as it attempts to stop leadership candidate Jason Kenney from hijacking the party. Kenney’s campaign platform is positioned against the mandates of the liberal-left. The other leadership hopefuls, along with party insiders, are doing everything they can to delegitimize his campaign or find ways to remove him from the race. Even the liberal media is attacking him, as would be expected.

If our major political parties will not serve the people of Canada and protect our way of life from the liberal international agenda funded by George Soros then it is time for Canadians, like others around the world, to begin the process of taking back our political systems and removing this insidious disease from our countries and cultures. This may mean starting a new federal political party and completely redefining the structure of Canadian governance to reflect the ideals of a republic as opposed to maintaining a defunct, purposeless, and symbolic allegiance to a monarchy who sold us out long ago. - JC

On March 31st 2019, the Holodomor National Awareness Tour (HNAT) began its coast to coast travels across Canada, with a visit to St. Nicholas Church in Victoria, British Columbia and the BC Legislature on April 1st. We were welcomed to the Legislative Assembly by the Hon. Bruce Ralston: “Today in the House are a number of Canadians of Ukrainian origin who are here to launch a Canada-wide initiative to raise the knowledge of and awareness of the Holodomor. It is the death by starvation, literally translated from Ukrainian, of six million to ten million Ukrainians — the numbers vary because it was so horrible an experience, and records were very remote — in the winter of 1932 and 1933, unknown and kept secret in Stalin’s Russia, actually, until more or less the Iron Curtain fell in 1989.

The group here includes the executive director of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation [Holodomor National Awareness Tour], Roma Dzerowicz; the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Victoria branch chair, Robert Herchak; and fellow board members Anna Visnevka, Motria Koropecki and Andrei Fabrikov. The Holodomor Mobile Classroom (HMC) is a fully self contained, wheel chair accessible RV converted into a state-of-the-art interactive audio-visual classroom. It features a 24 foot video wall made up of twelve 4k television screens spanning the length of the interior with seating up to 31 people.

A major part of the Holodomor National Awareness Tour’s mandate is to spread awareness about the Holodomor through our interactive lessons which complement high-school curricula, while teaching students about diversity, inclusiveness, tolerance and human rights, instilling upon them the need to raise their voices out of silence.

During our Cross-Canada tour we visited 44 schools and presented 156 interactive lessons. The conservative Capital Research Center (CRC) has criticised Soros in a number of articles. CRC, a champion of the conservatives defund the left campaign - is critical of foundations that support 'liberal groups'.

Communists want Soros Foundation branded ‘undesirable’ group

Two senior lawmakers from the Communist Party caucus have asked Russian prosecutors to use the recently introduced law on “undesirable” foreign groups against George Soros’s Open Society organization.

“The anti-Russian activities of Soros’s foundation must be recognized as undesirable before they assume the destructive forms that we could observe in Ukraine, Georgia and other countries,” MPs Valery Rashkin and Sergey Obukhov said, appealing to the Prosecutor General.

The Communist leaders claimed that the Open Society NGO had conducted “persistent anti-Russian activities for decades and that it happened both in Russia and in other countries. They said that the group was allegedly promoting hatred against Russians in Ukraine and also launched some “proxy subversive operations” in the Russian Federation.

In particular, the two MPs blamed George Soros’s NGO for the destruction of the Russian education system, manifested in the much-criticized system of single state exams for schoolchildren as well as underfinancing of schools and institutes.

The Law on Undesirable Foreign Groups that came into force earlier this week charges the Prosecutor General’s Office together with the Foreign Ministry with the task of creating an official list of “undesirable foreign organizations” and outlaw their activities in the country. The main criterion for putting a foreign or international NGO on the list is “the threat to the Constitutional order and the defense capability or security of the Russian State.”

Once the group is recognized as undesirable all its assets in Russia must be frozen, offices closed and distribution of any of its information materials must be banned. Violating the bill is punished with heavy fines both for the personnel of the banned organizations and Russian citizens who cooperate with them. A repeat offense can carry up to six years in prison.

From the moment it was drafted, the new law was sharply criticized by the Russian rights community, foreign NGOs and officials. The European Union and the United States have officially expressed their concern over it and warned that the move banning cooperation with various foreign groups could bring about the isolation of the Russian people from the outside world.

The two opposition MPs who originally drafted the bill have described it as a preventive measure and denied that it was targeting any specific foreign organizations.

The Open Society Institute, also known as the Soros Foundation after its main sponsor, US billionaire George Soros, has worked in Russia since 1995 and financed many projects in the humanitarian and educational spheres. In 2003, the organization stopped issuing direct grants and announced that it had stopped all Russian operations but to this day it maintains representative offices in Russia’s four largest cities – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk.

George Soros has openly admitted that his organizations played a key role in the so called “color revolutions” – forceful regime changes through violent political rallies – in many post-Soviet states, including Ukraine and Georgia.

Earlier this month a group of hackers from Ukraine released some leaked texts that show that Soros was still actively involved in the Ukrainian politics, advocating EU financial aid and military assistance to Ukraine to restore Kiev’s fighting capacity without violating the Minsk peace deal.
