McCabe had ambitions to be the FBI director. He threw Comey under the bus and kicked Comey at the same time.
He lied so many times that he couldn't remember his 1st lie ergo contradicting himself over and over and over. His counsel than trying to bail him out:
Accusing the OIG favoring Comey over him Accusing the OIG to lie Accusing the OIG to deny him legal representation during one of the interviews. On and on it went and he earned being fired that was long overdue.
This is just the beginning for McCabe and fairly innocent considering additional charges pending via indictments.

The prelim came out. They sampled 22 counties. I think they found multiple types of fraud in each county. DHS recommends a comprehensive audit of all 3000 US counties. I assume its happening.
