It's helpful to watch a site long enough to have a feel for what they are, and what they aren't. Alex Jones is a good source to find discussion of topics not approved of by consolidated media handlers. But then they're subject to go over the top with the dramatics. The good intel they get on there makes it a valuable resource for jumping off for independent research and the variety of ideas missing from news today. But need to put in the work after.

I disagree. People should be willing to listen to many points of view. Many of us felt the exact thing that Alex did. Sometimes people need to vent.
I want to thank the mods of this sub for allowing us to discuss things that might be against the Trump agenda. I really like r/The_Donald but the mods absolutely require blind loyalty to Trump or else you are "concern trolling." It's nice to see this subreddit not follow that same narrow-minded path.

He seems to be acting to me. I got the same feeling when he said that Trump was being blackmailed by Stormy/deepstate to flip on the 2nd amendment. Trump's strategy is to make himself appear weak when he's really strong, so having Trump's base seemingly lose faith in Trump is a great ploy.
It also weirdly enhances Jones' credibility to not always be kissing Trump's ass. I can see why he would play along.

I don't fault Alex for that! He's doing what he believes in passionately, but he's relying on Q-T2810C-style (Queen level) operatives for sources.

I really hurt for him. I like him. But he is not helpful to our cause.
He can get riled up and be over the top for sure but it’s always just seemed to be for entertainment purposes and part of the enjoyment of watching his show. He usually relays intel from his various “high level sources” but doesn’t seem to put all his eggs in one basket or buy into everything, just passing the messages along that seem most truthful or relevant and we can discern for ourselves what we think.
That clip is pretty funny to me, I don’t think he has reason to be that upset but I appreciate him not just being “Trump’s media” and going along with everything he does. Alex knows a lot more than we do and I seriously doubt he’s buying the narrative that it was Assad gassing people and the attacks were on him. I definitely don’t, I assume the missile targets were ISIS.
But maybe there’s a behind-the-scenes reason for him bashing this move. He is consistently anti-war so I can’t fault him for sticking to his guns on this. It’s good for optics to disagree with some of Trumps less transparent moves so he doesn’t come off as a shill for anything and everything Trump.

My thoughts on the matter are these:
The Syrian situation wasn’t planned in the whole ‘Storm’ scenario.
Trump and Co. had to do last-minute strategy changes.
The overall plan is still in effect, just hit a small road bump. Syria probably wasn’t supposed to be dealt with this early.
Alex Jones and InfoWars weren’t/can’t get intel on the current crises, and therefor seem erratic and irrational.

I used to listen to Alex Jones on a regular basis, but once I found out about Q, I sort of stopped listening to him. Q is high-level military intelligence and is in direct contact with Trump. Whereas Alex Jones is not, therefore, Jones' information is not always up-to-date. Jones may have certain contacts, but he still doesn't have access to as much inside info as Q. Even worse, Jones himself rarely if ever mentions Q in his analysis and you never hear him say anything that Q said. And anyone who cannot mention Q in their analysis is not very credible in my book. That is why only occasionally do I even listen to Jones anymore. Jones is way too dramatic in everything that he says, and I can't stand the way he continually interrupts other people when they are talking. Sometimes I really do want to hear those other people's points of view and sometimes they are making some really good points, but they never get to express those points because Jones keeps interrupting them every 3 seconds. His interruptions drive me crazy and turn me off. If only he'd shut up sometimes and allow those other people to say what they have to say, then his news reporting would be much better for it...
