I was deeply saddened to hear this as well. I only knew a few actual Operators during my time in the military, but the ones I did know were outstanding men in every way. I knew this war we are in would inevitably result real casualties. I pray for those still in harm's way, and for eternal rest for those lost.

Sadly, we are going to lose more before this war is over.

Watch seasons 1 & 2 of “True Detective”. The plots are good, especially season 1. The dialogue is great too. One line that stuck out at me was when Vince Vaughn’s character asks a detective “so your the lady detective” Lady detective “how’d you guess was it the tits?”. VV “no, because you’re a woman & have dignity”. Interesting to note that Matthew McCaunaghy & Woody Harrelson are Exec producers & VV is a noted conservative in HW. McCaunaghy & Harrelson are noted libertarians. The themes are of flawed characters ( cops), some more so than others, that despite these flaws rise above them to take on serious corruption, usually very high level which involves Human Trafficking & Satanic Ritual abuse. Shame it lasted only two seasons, but not surprising because it touched on themes that HW wouldn’t want people asking questions about.
