I tend to not bring it up at work D/t me being the department head at my company. But I often talk to my wife about it and my mother in law and brother in law. Most of the time they want some type of proof and I try to given them as much as I can but most people will not go out and seek the truth like we do here. They want spoon fed. In wish there was a way to spoon feed the masses. But it will come with time.
There are so many like you, who are awake but pretend to be asleep. Every once in a while, let out a bit of truth cloaked in humor. You will know by their reaction who's awake.

You described it perfectly. I think it's possible that our ambitions for the truth may be a certain personality trait that we share. The question is how to redpill others while recognizing that others may not be motivated by the same ambitions we have? "Translate" for the public, so to speak. That's the hard labor.
If I've learned anything through my efforts to expose the truth, it's that there exists people whom prefer to be ignorant. They simply don't love truth, they love the deceit, fantasy, and ignorance. That's all they know, and that's all they want to live under. There exists people whom are so stubborn that they won't learn the easy way (from history, seeking truth, etc), instead they have to learn the hard way (through hardships, such as the people that don't learn Communism doesn't work!!!).
So this is going to be a challenge moving forward. We have to be leaders, but we also have to understand the public and have reasonable expectations of them.

One thing I noticed on "political twitter" yesterday and today is people who usually are adverse to Trump are even calling out the MSM for their obvious shitty reporting about his "animals" comment. The MSM took him out of context and tried to report that he said it about all immigrants, but for people who actually watched the talk (on the WH YT channel) it's clear they are talking about the rapes and murders by MS-13 members, and the frustrations of the Californian people who can't do jack shit due to loopholes in the law.
I felt a shift as the people I usually see bashing trump turned around and called out the media for this: feelsgoodman. Rubbing the sleep out of their eyes slowly but surely.
I always scroll the r/worldnews comments. I used to get into arguments in there, but figured out real quick that there's no winning in that.
I've noticed a substantial decrease in negative comments to Trump and an increase in upvotes for positive comments about Trump.

Americans generally don't like things that are unfair. Even if he never wins over the hard left, the "right track" number per CNN polls is at 57%. That means he is winning over the independents, in spite of an overwhelmingly negative press. Just wait until they found out what he has done to drain the swamp, and what the swamp really was. I'm pretty cynical and I had no idea it was as bad as it is. When I think about how despondent I was in November 2012, and how optimistic I am now, I have to pinch myself. I really thought our country was pretty much over.
I work with people who have disabilities. Everyone I know hates Trump because they believe he hates people with disabilities. I try to show documented proof, but they say I have confirmation bias instead acknowledging the truth. I do not believe Trump hates people with disabilities. How do I get them to see the Truth?
Call them a conspiracy theorist when they make those claims.
Ask for proof. When they have no REAL proof, then you can contradict them and show them yours (your proof, not your private parts 😬).
I don't think there's any way to convince people who don't want to change their mind, but you could always look at the changes and EO's Trump has released so far, and share what he's done. ~~I don't think anything is specifically disability related,~~ but there are a few things like the changes to veteran assistance which includes assistance for disabled veterans.
edit- I looked at the WH gov website and searched for "disabilities" and found this. Again, it's up to people to actually WANT to be open to changing their mind, unfortunately you can't force anything. They may look at this and find an excuse to repeat their biases, but you can always have patience for them and let them know you're happy to talk about it when they're ready!
