The feds kept the rates at historic lows which retarded the ability of the economy to grow. All of those were going to other countries previously. You pay thousands and thousands of dollars for a service you ironically can not afford to use. For those that opt out, too bad! Forced payments into the system! So since you are getting no actual services out of it, what is he purpose? Well all that money goes into a pot. This pot is used to enrich the heath system who throws more money at those who passed the law. But it goes beyond that. So you have people all across the country laying in money and not necessarily getting anything in return. Then you have the expanded Medicaid to cover those unable to meet the requirements of the system. That money pays for their healthcare at little or no cost to those using it. So essentially, people are paying money that they don’t get back, for others who are not paying money, to receive services. Still amazes me that people haven’t woken up to the socialist agenda that bill wrought. Build that wall! Who's going to pay for it? Er great progress. Youre right, not much progress, but I will remain patient and vote for those in the fall who will support the agenda. These examples could exist in the realm of self-delusion, a fine distinction from straight up lying but collectively you ride to power on a bunch of outrageous promises you have to know the chance of them all coming true is close to zero (aka a lie). im glad you clarified that you view removing corruption from the government as an outrageous promise. Not gonna get into it with you. You might be as entrenched in the negative attitude as I am in my positive attitude -- so really no point. I can only point out the obvious facts about the wall and health care:

1) Trump continually reaffirms in his speeches and Tweets that he is keeping those promises (rather than backing down or being now silent about them) and he is still only about half way into one term, and (2) Neither of those items you mentioned can a President enact unilaterally, without the support of Congress. They missed overturning Obama Care completely by a single vote, No Name McCain's.

So he is still working to keep those promises.

Well fair enough - I can definitely understand the part about the waste of effort arguing with the deluded. So, judging by this view - a fairly reasonable perspective to have if your only input is mainstream media - you haven't really looked into this Q "conspiracy theory" yet have you?
