Portland mayor admonishes police chief after public clash over tear gas

Police said mayor's ban on CS gas could lead to more serious injuries; Wheeler calls statement 'serious breach of protocol.'

Mayor Ted Wheeler has chided Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell and his command staff following a rare public disagreement.

Wheeler also has demanded a "communications plan" from the bureau as well as a plan to manage an upcoming Saturday, Sept. 26, demonstration planned by right-wing activists.

The backlash follows the events of Sept. 10. That morning, after months of scrutiny over the use of CS gas — or tear gas — by police, Wheeler announced that he was ordering the Portland Police Bureau to no longer use it for crowd control.

Six hours later, the bureau issued a press release of its own, saying it "needs" CS gas to avoid more serious injuries, and also saying the gas isn't used for crowd control at all; rather it "is being used to disperse crowds only when there is a life safety event."

In an email to Lovell and his assistant chiefs the next day, the mayor wrote that "while I do not often issue directives to the Portland Police Bureau, when I do I expect them to be followed. Civilian oversight of the Police Bureau is set in the Portland City Charter, and every sworn officer takes an oath to abide by that charter. Professionalism and public service demand nothing less."

The Sept. 11 email, released in response to a Tribune request, refers to an earlier conversation between Lovell and Wheeler. Actually there were two that day, according to a knowledgeable source.

Asked for comment on the aftermath of the public clash, a spokesman for the bureau denied any insubordination, saying Lovell has made clear "the mayor is the police commissioner and the Police Bureau will be responsive to and follow the mayor's direction."

Wheeler, through his staff, issued a statement: "PPB's decision to put out a press release questioning my direction was a serious breach of protocol and an inappropriate use of City communications resources. I made it clear, in no uncertain terms, to the Chief that this cannot happen again."

Wheeler added that "The Chief took responsibility for that decision. He affirmed that there was never any intention of disobeying the directive."

Teargas tensions

Wheeler himself was teargassed in July at a Black Lives Matter protest downtown. His ban on CS gas followed an earlier effort in June ordering the bureau to use it only when necessary.

Police and their supporters have maintained that sometimes tear gas is necessary, citing attacks on police from behind protester lines and efforts to protect the perpetrators by activists who seek to "de-arrest" people detained by police.

Have you ever noticed that the watches and clocks found in product photographs and advertisements usually show the time 10:10? If you haven’t, pay attention the next time you’re flipping through a publication and come across a watch ad—the rule is almost always true.

If you have noticed this, do you know why 10:10 is the default time for watch photographers?

According to the New York Times, the main reason is quite simple and obvious: aesthetics. There are a number of visual advantages to having the hands set at the 10:10 positions.

One is that the hands are kept from overlapping. Having them on both sides of the watch face ensures that the hands themselves are visible and can be appreciated.

The position also allows the hands to look nice on the face of the timepiece. The 10:10 position is symmetrical, and the human brain tends to appreciate symmetry and orderliness.

It's an extension to holding on to biometric samples (fingerprints & DNA) rules which already exist. After a certain time, if someone isn't convicted, the samples are supposed to be destroyed.

§2386. Registration of Certain Organizations

(A) For the purposes of this section:

"Attorney General" means the Attorney General of the United States;

An organization is "subject to foreign control" if:

(a) it solicits or accepts financial contributions, loans, or support of any kind, directly or indirectly, from, or is affiliated directly or indirectly with, a foreign government or a political subdivision thereof, or an agent, agency, or instrumentality of a foreign government or political subdivision thereof, or a political party in a foreign country, or an international political organization; or

(b) its policies, or any of them, are determined by or at the suggestion of, or in collaboration with, a foreign government or political subdivision thereof, or an agent, agency, or instrumentality of a foreign government or a political subdivision thereof, or a political party in a foreign country, or an international political organization.

(B)(1) The following organizations shall be required to register with the Attorney General:

Every organization subject to foreign control which engages in political activity;

Every organization which engages both in civilian military activity and in political activity;

Every organization subject to foreign control which engages in civilian military activity; and

Every organization, the purpose or aim of which, or one of the purposes or aims of which, is the establishment, control, conduct, seizure, or overthrow of a government or subdivision thereof by the use of force, violence, military measures, or threats of any one or more of the foregoing.

This decision was based not on advice from its permanent vaccine advisory committee (known as the Strategic Advisory Group of Experts, or SAGE), but on the advice of an emergency committee, the names of whose members were not made public at the time.

The announcement of a pandemic automatically triggered the conditional orders for vaccine that rich countries had already placed with vaccine manufacturers. The governments of many European countries ordered two doses for every inhabitant, amounting to hundreds of millions of doses, costing hundreds of millions of euros. Fortunately, or unfortunately, by the time the bulk of the vaccine orders had been delivered the number of cases was already tapering off.

Let's explain where it comes from what we are constantly asked questions about. The so-called "bottle with" Novichok ", well, or rather, an ordinary plastic bottle from under water, on which traces of a chemical warfare agent were later found in a German laboratory.

This is a bottle from a room in a Tomsk hotel where Navalny himself and our entire film crew stayed.

During the flight, Alexei lost consciousness and began to choke, the plane urgently sat down. Almost immediately, the FBK employees who remained in Tomsk learned about the incident. At that moment, the only possible thing was done. They called a lawyer, went up to the room from which Navalny had just left, and began to record, describe and pack everything they found there. Including bottles from the hotel water.

There was no particular hope of finding anything like that. But since it was absolutely clear to us that Navalny was not “slightly ill,” not “overheated,” and Rafaelka could not help here, it was decided to take everything that could be hypothetically useful in some way and hand it over to doctors in Germany. The fact that the case would not be investigated in Russia was also quite obvious. And so it happened: almost a month passed, Russia did not recognize Alexey's poisoning.

Man Installs Electric Fence to Guard Trump 2020 Sign

A Massachusetts man installed an electric fence around the Trump 2020 sign in his front yard to keep potential thieves from stealing it.

John Oliveria, of New Bedford, said he installed the fence because six of his Trump 2020 campaign signs have been stolen from his lawn since May, KCTV reported.

“It’s a shame I have to do this,” said Oliveria. “I believe in the president. Obviously, people didn’t like it.”

Oliveria, a 20-year veteran of the Navy and member of the New Bedford School Committee, said he had enough and it was time to take charge of things after he filed two police reports about the sign thefts.

Oliveria told WJAR that a separate sign, which read, “Voice Your Vote. Vote New Bedford” was never removed.

Since he installed the 3-1/2 foot fence, the 54-year-old disabled veteran said his sign has remained untouched.

Oliveria was a lifelong Democrat who recently changed his party affiliation to Republican, and said he would never go around stealing signs for the opposing candidate.

“That’s what our country is about. Different opinions and voicing them in a fair and equitable manner. Taking a sign is not fair and equitable,” said Oliveira. “You have to be able to respect each other or we won’t be able to accomplish anything if we don’t. Don’t mess with my right to free speech.”

GOP lawmakers want answers from Disney on Mulan, China

Top Republicans on the House Oversight and Reform Committee are criticizing Disney for filming parts of the live-action remake of Mulan near the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.

In a letter to Disney CEO Robert Chapek and Executive Chairman Robert Iger on Monday, the lawmakers said the film was shot near forced labor camps that have targeted Uighur Muslims and other Muslim minority groups.

They also questioned why the film thanked Chinese institutions associated with the Chinese Communist Party despite the CCP’s role in human rights abuses in the region.

“Despite universally-recognized abuses occurring in Xinjiang, the film credits offered special thanks to over a dozen Chinese institutions that assisted with filming, including four Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda departments in the XUAR,” the letter said.

It was signed by Rep. James Comer (Ky.), the panel's top Republican, and the panel’s subcommittee ranking members.

These credits include the Turpan Municipal Bureau of Public Security, a CCP-run agency actively facilitating and orchestrating human rights abuses and the genocide of the Uyghur people. Last October, the Trump Administration put the Bureau ‘on a blacklist forbidding U.S. companies to sell or supply products to them,’” the letter said.

The lawmakers argued that by using CCP agencies, Disney was failing to condemn the abuses in the region.

“The CCP is systematically working to exterminate the presence of Uyghur culture and religion by incarcerating over a million people. Recently uncovered evidence shows the CCP is also conducting mass forced sterilizations of women, forced abortions, and utilizing mandatory invasive birth control measures to reduce family size among the Uyghur people,” the letter said.

“Utilization of CCP agencies perpetrating this genocide, such as the Turpan Municipal Bureau of Public Security, implicitly supports such crimes. Disney's decision to film Mulan in Xinjiang and use CCP-run entities is inapposite and counters the company's commitment to ‘provid[e] comfort, inspiration, and opportunity to children and families around the world.’"

Apple has turned over information on firebombing suspect Kelly Jackson, according to a report by Forbes published Monday morning.

The iDevice megacorporation seems to be cooperating with a federal investigation, despite an earlier conflict with the Trump administration in January over access to data stored on iPhones belonging to the Saudi terrorist who killed three U.S. sailors in Pensacola, Florida.

When the FBI received a tip about the identity of a suspect who allegedly firebombed two police vehicles in Seattle, WA, during the violent protests that erupted on May 30 after the death of George Floyd, they obtained Verizon account records as part of their investigation. The records confirmed Jackson’s location, what calls he made, and the phone used to do it.

The FBI then contacted Apple with a request for information on the iPhone 7’s iCloud account. Apple reportedly complied, sending federal investigators a wealth of potential evidence — including numerous photos and screenshots. One of these was a list of ingredients for the infamous “Molotov cocktail.”

Video footage gathered from the cloud also showed hands opening a bag with a bottle inside, and a similar bottle being thrown into the open window of a patrol car. There was additional footage of the thrower celebrating afterward, though his face was not visible. Jackson’s face was visible, however, in an image taken later the same day, on the same phone, wearing what appears to be the same sweatshirt.

Jackson has since been arrested for “unlawful possession of a destructive device and arson.” He has yet to file a plea, and his lawyer has not commented on the matter.

A very interesting release by ODNI John Ratcliffe [LINK] highlights a June 25, 2020 response from the FISA court to the DOJ. There are five issues queried by the DOJ seeking guidance from the FISC. Each issue points to a specific path being taken by the DOJ in general… and the John Durham probe specifically.

Today, the ODNI, in consultation with the Department of Justice, releases a June 25, 2020, opinion by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) evaluating and approving limited circumstances under which the Government may temporarily retain, use, or disclose information that was unlawfully acquired pursuant to a FISC order. Important note: We are looking at this in hindsight. The response from the FISC was dated June 25, 2020, so the request for opinion from the court was before June 25th.

The court opinion tells us for the first time, the DOJ is admitting/stating that ALL FOUR of the Carter Page FISA applications were corrupt upon origination. This is a big deal. In previous filing with the court (January 2020) DOJ only refuted the predication for the second and third renewal.

Within the FISC reply we see the DOJ stating all four submissions contained material omissions and violations of “the duty of candor” (ie. lying) by the FBI investigative unit and the DOJ team that assembled the application(s).

As we look closely at the response we see some very specific language that tells a story.

Apparently the DOJ asked the FISA court for guidance on five very specific issues centering around the Carter Page FISA application. The DOJ is asking for legal guidance to assist them in disclosing information in the FISA file & evidence attached to the FISA file.

Plans changed a couple times in the past few months, and now I'm moving the family to another state between now and 11/3.

I don't think I'll have enough time to register in the new state before 11/3.

I'm thinking about mailing in that absentee form so at least my vote can get downstream, because driving back here to vote may not be possible on voting day (distance).

Democrats' Plan To Abolish Election Night

By Betsy McCaughey is the former lieutenant governor of New York.

The left and its media allies are warning Americans not to expect a winner on election night. If Donald Trump leads on Nov. 3, the victory will be nothing more than a "red mirage," says Josh Mendelsohn, whose firm consults for the Democratic National Committee.

In the days or weeks afterward, a Trump victory will be beaten back and undone as mail-in ballots tip the election for Joe Biden, predicts New York Times columnist David Brooks.

Don't swallow this propaganda that election night victories are a thing of the past because of mail-in voting. Election night is a hallmark of American democracy. The public should be demanding the easy reforms that would protect it.

The 2020 election is likely to come down to a few battleground states, such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Minnesota. Unless these states reform their election laws now, on election night, they will be swamped with uncounted mail-in votes. States need to require that mail-in ballots are received well in advance of Election Day and counted as they come in.

Otherwise, the uncertainty will drag on, the voters lose their power, and the outcome will be decided in courtrooms and backrooms.

Or even in the House of Representatives. All states must allocate their Electoral College votes by Dec. 14. If even one swing state is still dithering, then it's possible neither Trump nor Biden would have 270 electoral votes. Then, the decision would be thrown to the House of Representatives. An Electoral College deadlock hasn't happened since 1876, but foolish state laws regarding mail-in ballots could produce one this year.

Half of all ballots are expected to be cast by mail. These ballots have to be processed by hand, and the signatures verified against signatures in the state database. Eleven states, including Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan, bar election workers from even opening ballots and beginning the time-consuming verification process until Election Day. That's crazy.

Fortunately, election officials in Pennsylvania and Michigan are calling for reform. More states need to act. If they don't, then Congress should step in.

The U.S. Constitution gives states primary authority over presidential elections, but Congress likely can still act. Congress passed the Help America Vote Act to improve vote-counting accuracy after the 2000 fiasco in Florida, when candidates George W. Bush and Al Gore both claimed victory. This time, Congress should stave off a crisis by requiring all states to count mail-in ballots in time for election night.

Anybody who opposes these simple reforms has mischief in mind.

Many Democrats don't want election night certainty. The DNC and allied groups are in court now suing to require that even ballots postmarked after election night or lacking signatures are counted. Why should people who mail their ballots late have their vote counted any more than people who show up at the polls late?

U.S. postal officials have made it clear that voters should mail in ballots at least seven days prior to Election Day to guarantee delivery. States should make that a legal deadline.

Late ballots threaten to throw the selection of our president into the newly elected House, which will convene Jan. 3, 2021. Each state delegation would get one vote. Republicans narrowly control a majority of state delegations in the current Congress, but that could change. A House decision is a crapshoot for Biden and Trump. It's also a moral defeat for the voters, who will have to stand by and watch Washington pols pick the president.

Worst, it will plunge the nation in a leaderless void from early November until early January, a perilous situation.

There's still time to prevent this potential chaos by processing mail-in ballots as they're received and requiring that they're mailed a week before the election.

How hard is that?

Democrats who oppose these simple reforms have a different agenda: anarchy in the streets, mobs demanding a Biden victory, and a president, ultimately, chosen behind the scenes long after election night.

The opinion from the FISC is only 20 pages long [direct pdf here], and if you skip the citations it’s a pretty straight forward answer from Judge Boasberg to review. I would strongly urge everyone to take a few minutes and read it… carefully…. to see what John Durham was asking.

Pages #6 and #7 talk specifically about the different requirements for retention and distribution and outlines a cautious approach toward distribution. One of the disconcerting parts of this segment seems to be the FISA court subtly guiding the DOJ away from using non-minimized raw FISA material in prosecution of intentional malfeasance. On this issue the court says allowing a target to escape prosecution is part of the penalty upon the DOJ for wrongful assembly.

The court does not consider the DOJ is targeting the “assemblers” for their criminal conduct. Rather the response is general toward criminals who were targets of a FISA application assembled with corrupt intent. A little weird.

Pages #11 and #12 hit the topic of FOIA production. The court says “some” FOIA requests might warrant document distribution, but not all. However, on the topic of Carter Page getting his FOIA fulfilled, the court supports expansive distribution to Mr. Page.

I find the arguments and issues in/around page #14 to be especially noteworthy. In this segment the court is responding to the underlying raw evidence that would normally be used to assemble a “woods file”. The court notes the FBI Sentinel system would contain the minimized outcomes (redacted evidence) and this points to a bigger issue. READ:

Note the woods file would be what is in the Sentinel system. The government (Durham Probe) needs “access to the case file” beyond what is in the Sentinel system. Durham wants to see the raw data, the underlying raw intelligence.

Why?

It looks like Durham investigators were already on the trail of the special counsel creating a Woods file…. and/or wants to see if the Steele Dossier is the original substantive documentation that underpins the Woods file. Notice how INSD previously received “hard copies” of documentation that is presumed to be the Woods file.

Regardless of motive or investigative suspicion, someone wants to compare the raw intel to the intel that made it into the FBI/DOJ Sentinel system.

In response to this inquiry Judge Boasberg notes FBI investigators would have access to the minimized information within the Sentinel system; however, insofar as there was additional inquiry into the raw and non-minimized intelligence, a review and distribution would be permissible so long as there was a strong filter team in place to ensure statutes surrounding FISA security were not violated.

Overall, Boasberg gives permission and approval for all six aspects requested. However, he does so with several legal qualifiers and distinctions which the DOJ must observe.

On June 30th, contact tracing was given a small view of coronavirus clusters. Construction and nursing homes were found to be causing problems with more than a thousand cases traced to each category, but bars and restaurants reported just 22 cases.

Leslie Waller from the health department asks, “This isn’t going to be publicly released, right? Just info for Mayor’s Office?"

“Correct, not for public consumption,” writes senior advisor Benjamin Eagles.

A month later, the health department was asked point blank about the rumor there are only 80 cases traced to bars and restaurants.

Reporter Nate Rau asks, “The figure you gave of 'more than 80' does lead to a natural question: If there have been over 20,000 positive cases of COVID-19 in Davidson and only 80 or so are traced to restaurants and bars, doesn’t that mean restaurants and bars aren’t a very big problem?"

Health department official Brian Todd asked five health department officials, "Please advise how you recommend I respond. "

The name at the top of the response is clipped off but you may find the answer unacceptable.

“My two cents. We have certainly refused to give counts per bar because those numbers are low per site.

We could still release the total though, and then a response to the over 80 could be because that number is increasing all the time and we don’t want to say a specific number."

Neither the health department nor the mayor’s office would confirm the authenticity of the emails but councilmember Steve Glover had a Metro staff attorney inquire. Here’s the official answer:

“I was able to get verification from the Mayor’s Office and the Department of Health that these emails are real,” the staff attorney answered.

Glover says this is Metro Nashville orchestrating a cover up.

"They are fabricating information," Glover said. "They’ve blown there entire credibility Dennis. Its gone, I don’t trust a thing they say going forward …nothing."

Glover says he has been contacted by an endless stream of downtown bartenders, waitresses and restaurant owners asking why would officials not release these numbers?

"We raised taxes 34 percent and put hundreds literally thousands of people out of work that are now worried about losing their homes, their apartments…and we did it on bogus data. That should be illegal," Glover said.

Again, FOX 17 News wasn't told by the mayor’s office this wasn’t true. We were told to file a freedom of information act request.

Leaked 2016 Call Reveals Joe Biden Risked National Security To Sabotage Trump

Joe Biden exercised incredibly poor judgement, placing a highly classified counterintelligence operation at risk, and undermined the incoming administration.

A recently leaked phone call between then-Vice President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko directly after the 2016 presidential election shows that Biden sought to sabotage the incoming Trump administration before Donald Trump even took office, and much worse.

During the course of the call, Biden badmouthed the incoming administration, saying, “The truth of the matter is that the incoming administration doesn’t know a great deal about [Ukraine]” and that they were unprepared for the transition. This in itself is inappropriate, but it was meant to set the stage for Biden’s next statement and future plans.

Biden then told Poroshenko, “I don’t plan on going away. As a private citizen, I plan on staying deeply engaged in the endeavor that you have begun and we have begun.” In a matter of moments, Biden undermined the incoming administration, branded them as not knowing anything about Ukraine, and attempted to set up a foreign policy backchannel for himself after he left office as a private citizen, which could violate the Logan Act.

The Logan Act bars private citizens from engaging in U.S. foreign policy, although its constitutionality remains questionable and no person has ever been convicted of violating it since it was signed into law in 1799. Ironically, this is the same act that, at Joe Biden’s suggestion, the FBI accused National Security Advisor Michael Flynn of violating as a result of a discussion Flynn had with the Russian ambassador to the United States around nearly the same time as Biden’s call with Poroshenko.

To fortify his position and to make Poroshenko more confident that he should continue to deal with Biden once he left office, in the call Biden also intimated that there is a problem with the incoming administration: “The reason I bother to tell you that is I have been somewhat limited on what I am able to tell their team about Ukraine.”

While Biden blamed this on a late start to the transition process, we now know he said this at the same time the FBI and other U.S. intelligence agencies were conducting a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia, known as “Crossfire Hurricane,” of which Ukraine was a part.

Since it was leaked by a Ukrainian member of Parliament, the phone call was obviously recorded by the Ukrainians, and almost certainly by Russian intelligence services. Biden would have been aware of this from his time on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and as vice president.

So Biden, the sitting vice president of the United States, told a foreign leader whose country was part of a highly classified FBI counterintelligence investigation that there were things he couldn’t share about his country with the incoming administration and that they weren’t cleared. We now know from subsequent investigations that the Trump administration did not in fact collude with Russia, but at the time, Biden didn’t and he was privy to the fact that the FBI had opened the investigation.

If Russian intelligence had actually penetrated the incoming Trump administration, Biden’s comments would have almost certainly tipped them off that something was amiss, placing our national security in grave danger.

Additionally, it is mind-boggling that the vice president felt comfortable telling a foreign leader that there were things he was unable to tell the incoming administration at the same time the Department of Justice and the FBI failed to notify President-elect Trump of potential counterintelligence risks (that ended up not being true) posed by members of his campaign team who might join his administration in official capacities.

In the end, it is clear that Biden exercised incredibly poor judgment, placing a highly classified counterintelligence operation at risk; undermined the incoming administration; and attempted to set up a foreign policy backchannel for himself so he could remain involved in U.S-Ukrainian policy even though he was not sanctioned to do so by law.

All of this took place while his son, Hunter Biden, was on the payroll of a Ukrainian energy firm for which he admitted he had no related experience.

COMMENTARY

For all the complaining they do about so-called “dark money” in politics, it certainly appears that those on the left are eager to get a slice of the pie — even if they possibly have to engage in some “creative accounting” to make it seem as though everything is above-board.

ActBlue is undeniably the cash cow of the progressive movement, boasting over $6 billion raised for favored candidates since 2004. The organization funneled more than $1.5 billion to leftist candidates in 2018 alone, and has moved almost $900 million to assist progressives thus far in 2019 and 2020.

Most of these contributions, according to ActBlue, come through gift cards of $100 or less. That’s a lot of donations!

The organization has leveraged its powerhouse presence to negotiate a special relationship with banks so that it does not have to reveal donor names when processing its gift cards, as is normally required for virtually all online transactions.

Some people have long suspected this allows ActBlue or a mega-donor to easily break large donations down into smaller gifts to avoid campaign finance laws and Federal Election Commission scrutiny — once an individual donor or third-party organization has given $200 or more to a candidate, for instance, their information is supposed to be added to a public FEC database for the sake of transparency. ActBlue’s structure could easily allow illegal donations made online to be broken down into smaller gifts from claimed U.S. sources with little chance of exposure. ActBlue’s design would allow large donors to exceed contribution limits without even triggering the threshold for public reporting.

But now, computer analysis calls into question the legitimacy of these gifts.

Forensic analysis conducted by The Amistad Project in cooperation with Take Back Our Republic reveals that 4.7 million of the 9.7 million ActBlue donors are reported to be unemployed. That’s a whopping 48.4% of all ActBlue donors in 2019-2020.

In comparison, analysis of the Republican counterpart to ActBlue, WinRed, reports that 4.1% of its donors were unemployed, a figure that roughly matches the national unemployment rate during that time period.

Analysis reveals similar disparities exist between funding sources for the Democrat National Committee and the Republican National Committee, potentially reflecting the impact of ActBlue’s contributions. The DNC reports 40.6% of its donors are unemployed and the RNC 6.4%, while the Biden for President Committee reports 51% of its donors as unemployed compared to 2.7% of the Trump donors.

This raises questions that must be answered.

"When Take Back Our Republic first pointed out in 2015 that foreign interests could potentially use gift cards to flood money in through ActBlue’s unverified credit card system, more than 100 members of Congress stopped using the system and 31 Democrats joined 52 Republicans in trying to outlaw the practice," said John Pudner, president of Take Back Action Fund.

"It took vendors only a few hours to change their setup to allow the banks to verify if donations were really from Americans,” Pudner added. “Unfortunately, as things turned harshly partisan after Trump's election, ActBlue doubled down and moved more and more candidates onto an unverified system at a time when intelligence officials are warning that foreign interests want to impact who wins our elections. TBAF asks ActBlue to join the hundreds who have stopped using this system."

ActBlue claims it has convinced millions of unemployed persons to donate to progressive candidates under a structure that allows the organization to escape scrutiny. Perhaps it’s time to take a closer look.
