Twitter unlocks JTN reporter's account after CDC said his COVID vaccine tweet was correct

The CDC states that "some people should not get certain vaccines."

Twitter on Wednesday unlocked the account of a Just the News reporter after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the COVID-19 tweet in question was indeed correct.

The tweet Tuesday night stated a well established medical fact – one backed by the CDC – that not everyone should be injected with vaccines.

Reporter Greg Piper tweeted "Vaccines are not safe for everyone."

The post also linked to a report by the higher education news website the College Fix detailing Brigham Young University's refusal to grant an exception to its vaccine mandate for a student with a potentially complicating medical condition.

Piper's appended remark is backed up by CDC guidance, which stipulates that "some people should not get certain vaccines or should wait before getting them."

Piper pointed out to Just the News that "every mandate has a medical exemption."

"I've appealed [the suspension], but Twitter is not letting me use direct messages, as it promised," he said. "It told me to delete the tweet and then my 12-hour lockout can start, but unless I delete the tweet, the appeal continues and has no deadline."

CDC spokesman Tom Skinner on Wednesday confirmed the agency's guidance on the risks that some individuals face from vaccines.

"If you have had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) or an immediate allergic reaction, even if it was not severe, to any ingredient in an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (such as polyethylene glycol), you should not get an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine," he told Just the News.

Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment on what appeared to be a ban for reciting a medical fact backed up by the CDC.

The social media company earlier this year vowed to combat what it called "vaccine misinformation" on its page.

Gantz: Iran is 10 weeks from breakout to a nuclear weapon

"Israel had warned the US that Iran would use a break in JCPOA talks to advance its nuclear program."

Iran will be able to break out to a nuclear weapon within 10 weeks, Defense Minister Benny Gantz told diplomats from UN Security Council member states on Wednesday.

“Iran has violated all of the guidelines set in the JCPOA [nuclear agreement] and is only around 10 weeks away from acquiring weapons-grade materials necessary for a nuclear weapon,” Gantz warned.

“Therefore,” he added, “it is time to act. The world must apply economic sanctions and take operative action against Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.”

In recent weeks, top Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and Gantz have expressed alarm to the US and others that Iran is taking advantage of a long pause in negotiations to return to the JCPOA to dramatically advance its nuclear program. The talks have been on hold since June, and the regime in Tehran says they will not restart at least until after its new president, Ebrahim Raisi, forms a new government later this month.

Gantz’s remarks were made in a presentation with Lapid to diplomats from UN Security Council member states on Wednesday, as part of a push by Israel for the UNSC to sanction Iran for its maritime attacks, including on the Mercer Street, which is managed by an Israeli company, and Asphalt Princess in the Gulf in the past week.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud repeated Riyadh's stance at a virtual conference of the Aspen Security Forum on Tuesday that it could live with a "longer and stronger" version of Iran's 2015 nuclear deal with world powers if it ensured Tehran never obtained nuclear arms know-how.

"We certainly support a deal with Iran as long as that deal ensures that Iran will not now or ever gain access to nuclear weapons technology," he said, saying Riyadh would welcome an Iran that contributed to regional stability and prosperity.

"But that would require (Iran) engaging in the region as a state actor in a normal way…, not supporting militias, not sending weapons to armed groups, and most importantly, giving up a nuclear program which might be used… to develop nuclear weapons."

Vaccinations are the new black.

The starry Met Gala returns this fall, but with two important caveats: Everyone going needs to be jabbed and must wear a mask indoors.

“Currently, all attendees at The Met Gala on September 13 must provide proof of full vaccination and will also be expected to wear masks indoors except when eating or drinking. We will update these guidelines as needed,” a spokesperson for the Met told The Daily Beast Tuesday.

This follows IMG’s announcement that all New York Fashi on Week shows in September will require vaccinations

as well, with mask policy yet to be determined.

Last year’s Met Gala was canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions. Normally, the extravaganza takes place on the first Monday in May and kicks off the beginning of the spring social season.

This year it was pushed back to September 13, given that the first Monday in September is Labor Day, and — as one insider cheekily noted — even Anna Wintour can’t change a federal holiday.

Twitter enlists Associated Press for fact-checking help despite record of journalistic flubs

News wire pushed stories on collusion, Russian bounties, other disproven rumors.

Twitter this week announced the rollout of a new fact-checking initiative that will rely in part on a major news organization that regularly published reports on the now-debunked Trump-Russia collusion theory and other disproven attacks on the Trump administration.

The social media company said in an announcement on Monday that it had enlisted both The Associated Press and Reuters "to expand our efforts to identify and elevate credible information on Twitter."

"Through this program, Twitter's Curation team will increase our capacity to add reliable context to conversations happening on Twitter," the company said.

Twitter added that the companies would work at "ensuring that credible information is available in real time around key conversations as they emerge on Twitter, especially where facts are in dispute or when Twitter's Curation team doesn't have the specific expertise or access to a high enough volume of reputable reporting on Twitter."

Yet despite the venerable wire service's vestigial reputation as an unbiased news source, today's much-changed, more overtly aligned Associated Press has itself trafficked heavily in questionable reporting over the past several years regarding Donald Trump's purported ties to and collusion with Russia, and various other debunked or dubious stories regarding the controversial former president.

The Russia collusion story was short on substantive evidence more or less from its beginning. Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein admitted last year that by August 2017, there was effectively no proof of the conspiracy theory, even though the investigation would continue for roughly another two years.

Yet, The Associated Press, among others, regularly ran with reports on the alleged Trump-Russia scandal that lent weight and credibility to the conspiracy theory even if much of it rested on opaque sourcing and leaps of logic. Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller ultimately concluded there was no evidence if Trump-Russia collusion.

In one instance, AP allegedly went beyond reporting and injected itself into the federal investigation of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, according to documents released under a Freedom of Information Act request. In an April 2017 meeting with Andrew Weissmann, then chief of the Justice Department's Criminal Fraud Section, four AP reporters furnished the FBI with information about Manafort, including the code for Manafort's locker at a storage facility in Virginia, the documents stated. Soon thereafter, Weissman assumed a key role in Robert Mueller's Russia collusion investigation and took the lead in the prosecution of Manafort.

Syrian Army Shot Down US MQ-4C Triton High-Altitude Drone Over Aleppo – Report

The Syrian military had shot down an American MQ-4C Triton high-altitude long endurance surveillance drone over the countryside of the northern governorate of Aleppo, the U-News reported on August 4.

An informed source told the news agency, which is known to be close to Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the Syrian state, that the drone was shot down with a missile fired by a Russian-made Buk-M2E air-defense system of the Syrian Arab Air Defense Forces (SyAADF).

“The American plane took off from Martyr Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in the Azraq region in northern Jordan,” the unnamed source said.

U-News didn’t specify when the incident took place. Nevertheless, Syrian sources reported the shot down of a large drone over the western countryside of Aleppo on August 2. Footage showing the drone failing from sky in a ball of flames were shared online.

“When you hear those words, I want you to imagine the notion that, because someone’s vaccinated, they can do all the amazing things that are available in this city,” de Blasio said of the Key to NYC Pass.

'Influencers' Are Being Paid By The Government to Shill Covid Vaccines to Children, NYT Reveals

"Influencers" on TikTok, Twitch, YouTube and Instagram are being paid $1,000 a month by state and local governments working together with the White House to shill Big Pharma's experimental injections to their child audiences.

The potentially illegal government-funded propaganda program targeting children was detailed Sunday in a glowing article from the New York Times.

LOS ANGELES — Ellie Zeiler, 17, a TikTok creator with over 10 million followers, received an email in June from Village Marketing, an influencer marketing agency. It said it was reaching out on behalf of another party: the White House.

Would Ms. Zeiler, a high school senior who usually posts short fashion and lifestyle videos, be willing, the agency wondered, to participate in a White House-backed campaign encouraging her audience to get vaccinated against the coronavirus?

"There is a massive need to grow awareness within the 12-18 age range," Village Marketing wrote to Ms. Zeiler's business email. "We're moving fast and have only a few available slots to fill, so please let us know ASAP."

Ms. Zeiler quickly agreed, joining a broad, personality-driven campaign to confront an increasingly urgent challenge in the fight against the pandemic: vaccinating the youthful masses, who have the lowest inoculation rates of any eligible age group in the United States.

The propaganda push was organized by the White House speaking together with "online creators" in "several off-the-record briefings over Zoom," the Times reported.

Since then, the Biden administration has rolled out influencer discussions with Dr. Fauci and brought Ms. Rodrigo to the White House, where she urged people to "actually get to a vaccination site."

US Judge Sanctions Lawyers Over ‘Fantastical’ 2020 Election Lawsuit

A federal judge on Wednesday sanctioned two lawyers who represented clients claiming Dominion Voting Systems and other parties interfered with the 2020 election through a coordinated effort.

The case was thrown out in April due to lack of standing, but defendants, including Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf, filed motions for sanctions, arguing attorneys should have meaningfully investigated the allegations the plaintiffs put forth.

U.S. Magistrate Judge N. Reid Neureiter, an appointee of other judges, agreed.

The judge took issue with how the suit was filed in Colorado federal court but named officials from other states, including Pennsyvlania and Michigan, asserting even first-year law students would know that district courts cannot exercise jurisdictions over out-of-state defendants in most cases.

Gary Fielder and Ernest Walker, the plaintiffs’ lawyers, eventually dismissed the out-of-state defendants.

“When asked why it took motions to dismiss before Plaintiffs’ counsel researched the question of personal jurisdiction, and why the research had not been conducted prior to the filing of the lawsuit, Mr. Fielder had no rational answer,” Neureiter said.

“Filing a lawsuit against an out-of-state defendant with no plausible good faith justification for the assertion of personal jurisdiction or venue is sanctionable conduct,” he added later.

Fielder and Walker did not return requests for comment.

Nineteen arrested in Bradford in month-long child sex abuse probe related to one victim

Nineteen men have been arrested as part of an investigation into child sexual abuse in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police said the arrests were made in relation to offences which are reported to have occurred between 2000 and 2005 and relate to one female victim.

A spokesman said it was a month-long operation.

All 19 men, aged between 36 and 55, have been interviewed and released pending further inquiries, he said.

Close, intimate relationships between older and younger males are intrinsic to human beings as well as to other primates. They occur spontaneously within a healthy society and are as normal as any other relationship. In the past, such relationships tended to be seen as just a typical aspect of homosexuality that, unless someone complained, was widely de facto tolerated, especially when seen as an outlet for youthful male sexual energies that had no socially sanctioned heterosexual outlet.

What are the benefits of these kinds of relationships?

Man/boy relationships provide affection, protection and mentoring for the younger partner as well as sexual and affectional expression and companionship for both. This view is widely held by many anthropologists, behaviorists, historians and other experts.

Do you consider man/boy love to be a sexual orientation in and of itself?

It can certainly be a preference for both men and boys. It can also be a transitional orientation for either or both that will change over time. Regardless of whether this preference is fixed over time or transitional, it certainly is both a sexual and affectional orientation.

What has the public’s view of these relationships been over time? When and how have these views changed

The public’s view of man/boy love has changed a great deal in recent history. The single greatest and most destructive social change in viewing intergenerational relationships has been in the last half-century and has gone on to infect most of the world. Much of this can be traced to social movements that devalued privacy among individuals and came to see all human interaction as rightly subject to the mediation of majoritarian prejudice. The confluence here of both feminist victimological theory and religious fundamentalist intolerance within the last forty years posed a devastating threat to man/boy love and to the rights of the individual. This happened at the same time as the world became smaller and more interconnected through technological change. As a result, the early children's rights movement was thoroughly co-opted by victimist moral entrepreneurs who saw kids, of whatever age, as essentially sexless and without any legitimate self-authority or agency. Laws became rapidly more draconian and more rigorously enforced with the consequence that, today, society has become organized along strictly hysterical and oppressive lines as they relate to child and adolescent sexuality. A deeply ironic feature of this regime is that kids, themselves, are routinely marginalized as sex offenders for freely exploring their own sexuality and suffer ruinous social consequences, such as inclusion on “sex offender” registries, as a result.

Views of those periods in antiquity in which man/boy love was not only tolerated but celebrated and even socially regulated are, to the extent that they are discussed at all, dismissed out-of-hand by the left as emblematic of the oppressiveness of a patriarchy that can provide no positive lessons or models for today and by the right as an immoral, paganistic depravity which can no longer be tolerated. There are still societies in which man/boy love may hang on by a thread but they are under siege by ever more pervasive Western propaganda and chauvinistic busybodies. Most of these have not survived.

As with classical man/boy love, these societies have found in such relationships the means for social bonding and mentorship as well as temporary, alternative outlets for sexual expression that allow for delayed parenthood and greater personal development during adolescence. Close, intimate relationships between older and younger males has been the dominant form of male homosexuality across history and human societies. Indeed, these relationships are intrinsic to human beings and even extend to our closest primate relatives.

All we can do is to speak to the injustice which surrounds man/boy love and to provide a rare, alternative view to the terrible unreason which prevails today with the hope of influencing younger generations. Today, there are far fewer who will dare to speak openly about these positive, personal experiences since any voice dissenting from the dominant victimist narrative is now quickly silenced and stigmatized. The gay community today has completely whitewashed this central feature of gay culture from its history.

Do you feel that you are persecuted by society? In what ways?

Of course, we are persecuted. Those who violate a society's reigning sexual mores often face terrible, irrational vengeance. Man/boy love is a supreme example of that stigmatization and oppression. That is the position we occupy today. We are so persecuted that few of us will openly admit to being persecuted for fear of retribution. Even saying that you're persecuted for your feelings is enough today to destroy your life. Real freedom of speech is, effectively, dead today.

Boys and girls have, in recent decades, come to be viewed as largely interchangeable in their responses to relationships with adults, a view refuted by scientific evidence. Misguided feminist ideology has been responsible for misidentifying gender as a social construct and has indiscriminately conflated the sexual vulnerabilities of boys and girls while simultaneously advantaging girls educationally and socially, leaving boys today at a crisis point for their futures.

Simultaneously, Christian fundamentalists have played a critical role in fomenting hysteria, especially in regard to man/boy love, in particular and homosexuality, generally. Were it not for these combined, sweeping forces of an ascendant, intolerant brand of feminism, on one hand and right-wing religious zealotry, on the other, the extreme oppression under which we suffer today would be far less. This combined impact has been especially devastating for us.

Over 17,000 looted artifacts dating back to ancient Mesopotamia were returned to Iraq from the United States

Over 17,000 looted ancient artifacts recovered from the United States and other countries were handed over to Iraq's Culture Ministry on Tuesday, a restitution described by the government as the largest in the country's history.

The majority of the artifacts date back 4,000 years to ancient Mesopotamia and were recovered from the U.S. in a recent trip by Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi. Other pieces were also returned from Japan, Netherlands and Italy, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said in a joint press conference with Culture Minister Hasan Nadhim.

Nadhim said the recovery was "the largest in the history of Iraq" and the product of months of effort between the government and Iraq's Embassy in Washington.

"There’s still a lot of work ahead in this matter. There are still thousands of Iraqi artifacts smuggled outside the country," he said. "The United Nations resolutions are supporting us in the international community and the laws of other countries in which these artifacts are smuggled to are on our side."

"The smugglers are being trapped day after day by these laws and forced to hand over these artifacts," he added.

The artifacts were handed over to the Culture Ministry in large wooden crates. A few were displayed but the ministry said the most significant pieces will be examined and later displayed to the public in Iraq's National Museum.

Iraq’s antiquities have been looted throughout decades of war and instability since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein. Iraq's government has been slowly recovering the plundered antiquities since. However, archaeological sites across the country continue to be neglected owing to lack of funds.

At least five shipments of antiquities and documents have been returned to Iraq's museum since 2016, according to the Foreign Ministry.

Police carry out raids on homes throughout Gwent in child sex images probe

More than 100 electronic devices were seized by Gwent Police officers during an operation designed to target those who possess and share indecent images of children online.

Eleven warrants were carried out as part of ‘Operation Javelin’, led by the police online investigation team (POLIT) and assisted by neighbourhood teams and specialist units.

Nine men were arrested during the weeklong proactive operation, with seven individuals released on conditional bail and one person released under investigation.

A 19-year-old man from the Abergavenny area was arrested on suspicion of making an indecent photograph of a child. He was released on police bail, pending further enquiries and a 45-year-old man from the Ebbw Vale area was also arrested on suspicion of making an indecent photograph of a child.

A 35-year-old Newport man was arrested on suspicion of making indecent images of children and breaching a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO).

He was later charged with these offences and will appear at Newport Crown Court on Friday, August 6.

Officers also seized 107 electronic devices during the operation, as well as conducting two safeguarding visits.

DI Jamie Cooper, of Gwent Police’s cyber-crime unit, said: “Our intelligence gathering has allowed us to make nine arrests of people suspected of being involved in the online exploitation of children through possessing or sharing indecent images.

“We’ve also made 12 children safer by identifying those at risk and ensuring appropriate conditions are in place to keep them safe.

“This was completed with the assistance of partner agencies and forms part of our safeguarding work linked to this investigation.

“Our enquiries are continuing to ensure that those responsible for the online exploitation of children are brought to justice.

“It is important to remember that some of the images captured during our intelligence gathering may have been sent by a child.

“We want to educate young people in particular that not only is sharing an incident image – which could be of themselves – a criminal offence, but it can be recirculated very easily which may lead to further inappropriate sexual communication online.”

The public interest law firm Earthjustice released the report—entitled Poisoned Food, Poison Brains: Mapping dangerous pesticides in the foods we eat (pdf)—just weeks before the EPA is set to announce new restrictions on chlorpyrifos.

Earthjustice, along with farmworker and public health groups, has pressured the EPA to ban chlorpyrifos through legal action. In what the group hailed as a huge victory, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit in April ordered the agency to ban all food uses of the pesticide or retain only those that are safe for workers and children. The EPA’s deadline to unveil its rule is August 20.

Studies have connected chlorpyrifos exposure with permanent harms to the brains of children, including attention problems, developmental delays, and intelligence loss. It is commonly used on broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cranberries, corn, fruit and nut trees, soybeans, and other row crops as well as on fence posts, green houses, golf courses, turf, and utility poles.

For the new report, Earthjustice reviewed data on agricultural pesticide use and human health risks from the EPA and the United States Geological Survey. The group found that 5.6 million pounds of chlorpyrifos was applied on agricultural land nationwide in 2017, with the most usage documented in California, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Kansas.

According to Earthjustice:

Anyone living near where chlorpyrifos is used can be exposed to unsafe levels through air (drift) or drinking water, according to government studies, which note that food is a method of exposure too. Government reports show that farmworkers and people who live, work, or go to school near agricultural fields where chlorpyrifos is used experience dangerously high levels of exposure and are at elevated risk of harm.

“Children between one and two years old are most at risk of harm from chlorpyrifos, as they face dietary exposures of more than 140 times EPA’s so-called level of concern,” the report says.

“In its 2016 Refined Drinking Water Assessment, which is the only such assessment that attempted to find a chlorpyrifos exposure level that would be safe for children, EPA said drinking water across the nation is likely contaminated with unsafe levels of chlorpyrifos,” Earthjustice notes. “EPA’s high end estimates indicate that in the most contaminated areas, chlorpyrifos contamination may be 12,000 higher than levels of concern.”

Trump Asks Court to Block Release of Tax Returns to Congress

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday asked a court not to allow Congress to obtain his tax records, arguing the Department of Justice should not have reversed itself on the matter last week.

The department’s Office of Legal Opinion said in a memorandum last week that tax officials must hand over the records to a congressional panel because the panel’s demand for the documents serves a legitimate legislative purpose.

That was a shift from 2019, when the Department of Justice backed Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin after he declined to give the returns to Congress, asserting that the attempt by the House Ways and Means Committee was partisan and lacked a legitimate legislative purpose.

Trump’s lawyers noted that Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.), the chairman of the panel, has said before that he wanted the tax returns made public, and other Democrats have suggested that the returns could contain damaging information, including some sort of connection to Russia.

“The new OLC opinion does not deny the record of impermissible intent, but instead gives wobbly justifications and shallow reasoning for why the executive branch should ignore that evidence,” they wrote in the new filing.

“The government’s complete reversal on the legality of Chairman Neal’s requests came, of course, under President [Joe] Biden, a Democrat who ran against President Trump and made the disclosure of President Trump’s tax returns a campaign issue,” they added.

Trump is asserting violations of federal law and the Constitution, including the First Amendment.

Neal in 2019 said he wanted six years of Trump’s returns to ascertain whether the Internal Revenue Service properly enforces federal tax laws against sitting presidents.

The recent reversal by the Department of Justice shows “the law is on our side,” Neal said in a recent statement.

Trump’s attorneys said Neal’s requests are “pretextual,” citing the earlier ruling by the department.

“No one could reasonably believe that the Committee seeks six years of President Trump’s tax returns because of a newly discovered interest in legislating on the presidential-audit process,” the agency’s legal office said at the time.

The court should declare Neal’s requests unlawful and unenforceable and block enforcement of them, the new filing states.

Some of Trump’s tax records were given over to the Manhattan district attorney’s office earlier this year after the Supreme Court declined to intervene. Those records have not been made public.

4 members of human trafficking ring arrested in Dhaka

RAB seized mobiles and computers from the arrestees

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-3 have arrested four members, including a woman, of a human trafficking ring by conducting raids in Demra, Keraniganj and Manikganj areas in Dhaka.

The arrestees were identified as Shankar Bishwas, 25, Sheikh Hanif Mia, 28, Mohammad Jewel Hossain, 29, and Mosammat Shamima Akter, 21.

RAB also seized mobiles and computers from them.

Additional Superintendent of Police Beena Rani Das, also the assistant director (Media) of RAB-3, confirmed the matter and said that the accused were arrested on Sunday during separate drives.

The RAB official also said that the insolvent women were offered handsome salaried jobs in Dubai by the gang.

After reaching there, their passports were taken away and they were forced to participate in illegal activities, she added.

The RAB official further said that the operation was carried out when the mother of the woman detainee came to the RAB-3 office and complained.

"RAB is working to bring the ringleader to the country, as he is currently in Dubai. He will be then brought under the law."

A case was filed under the Human Trafficking Act with the Paltan police station in Dhaka in this regard.

Bill de Blasio: ‘We’re Looking Forward’ to Vaccinating Kids ‘at a Younger Age’

While he said they will educate the public on the policy over the next two weeks, he said many have been asking about how the rule will apply to children. Children too young to get the vaccine, he assured, will be able to join their vaccinated family members for activities in the city.

“Of course. We want families to be together. [The] smart thing to do — keep masks on your kids except when they’re eating or drinking obviously,” de Blasio said.

“But if you’re going out as a whole family and your kids are not yet vaccination age, of course, they should come along,” he said before explaining that they are looking forward to being able to vaccinate children as young as 5.

“We’re also looking forward to the point where kids can get vaccinated at a younger age. That 5-11 group. That’s not that too far away. That should be this year, in the next couple of months, so that’s going to help as well,” he said,promising further details to come on NYC’s vaccine passport program.

Currently, none of the vaccines are approved for those under the age of 12. And notably, none of the vaccines used in the United States — Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson — have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

My wife is an RN here in NC and the 5 major hospital systems here recently announced they are mandating the vax for all of their employees. My wife works in one of these systems. Supposedly our Lt. Governor, Mark Robinson (awesome btw, remember that name) is going to try and meet with the leaders of these systems to see what can be done to help those who don’t want it to avoid losing their jobs over it. We certainly aren’t going to get any help from Governor Cooper. Anyway, my wife is going to file the necessary religious exemption paperwork, which, btw, is drawn up by the hospital systems themselves, and we’ll see what happens. She’s not getting the vax either way so we may just go back to being a 1 income household. Also, the religious exemption paperwork her employer drew up has a section at the top with several statements like “I understand that over 600,000 people have died from COVID-19” and other misleading statements that the employee has to sign or else the paperwork will be deemed incomplete and exemption will be denied. There’s no room anywhere for rebuttal of these statements either. It seems they want to a) guilt those seeking the religious exemption and b) subject them to potential future liability regarding COVID. It’s so wrong because, according to the NC general statute for religious exemption essentially says all one has to do is provide the employer with a written statement saying they choose to not get vaccinated based on religious beliefs. There’s nothing about a formal document or clergy signatures or providing any supporting statements or anything else of substance regarding your religious beliefs. Unbelievable really.
