Leaders of ports along South Florida’s coast said they’re ready to step up and help other ports around the country, as those other ports continue to experience delays and backlogs due to global supply chain issues.

The chairman of the board for the Florida Ports Council, Jonathan Daniels, said there is no congestion at the ports in Palm Beach County, Fort Lauderdale or Miami. However, he says supply chain issues are leading to delays north of Florida and on the West Coast. He says those ports are experiencing delays partly due to the fact that they supply goods for the middle of the country, unlike ports in Florida.

“They’re going into the Heartland and they’re also going across country,” Daniels said.

Leaders of ports in South Florida say while they’re always trying to bring more ships to the region, they’re now letting congested ports across the country know they can reroute traffic to South Florida to help ease congestion.

"We stand ready to assist the shippers and the carriers and make sure that they understand that there are capabilities in South Florida," Daniels said.

"What we’re offering up as a Florida Ports Council and Florida’s ports is saying, ‘OK come through the Panama Canal. Come through the Suez Canal. Instead of doing land-bridge operations where you’re involving the ports, you’re involving the rail as well as the truck for the last mile, come to Florida’s ports. Come to this side of the United States and you’re going to go into the East Coast, land in Florida and then ultimately work up through the rail and the road network in order to supply."

Daniels said any additional ships that dock in south Florida will only benefit the local economy.

A Chinese spy was convicted on US soil for trying to steal trade secrets from American aviation companies

The spy, Yanjun Xu, is the first Chinese intelligence officer to be extradited to the US to stand trial, the DoJ said. He was convicted by a jury of conspiring to and attempting to commit economic espionage and steal trade secrets.

Xu used "classic spy techniques" as he tried to "steal the valuable innovation and trade secrets of industry-leading American aviation technology companies," acting US attorney Vipal Patel said Friday.

FBI assistant director Alan Kohler said Xu's conviction should be "a wakeup call" that China was "stealing American technology to benefit their economy and military."

Prosecutors said that from at least December 2013, Xu paid US industry experts to travel to China under the guise of giving university presentations, covering their travel expenses and a stipend.

Xu tried to steal technology related to GE Aviation's composite aircraft engine fan, which no other company in the world has been able to duplicate, the DoJ said.

Xu targeted a GE Aviation employee based in Cincinnati, Ohio, the DoJ said. The employee, working with the FBI, later travelled to Belgium to meet Xu. Xu was arrested in Belgium on April 1, 2018, and was later extradited to the US.

Xu was convicted of two counts of conspiring and attempting to commit economic espionage, two counts of attempted theft of trade secrets, and one count of conspiracy to commit trade secret theft. He faces up to 60 years in jail and fines that could together be as high as $10.75 million.

Julian Assange and his fiancee Stella Moris are bringing legal action against Justice Secretary Dominic Raab and the Governor of Belmarsh Prison, accusing them of preventing the couple from marrying behind bars.

They fear the obstacles put in the way of their wedding by UK authorities are linked to a US-backed political war against the Wikileaks publisher and campaigner.

In September it was revealed the CIA had drawn up plans to kidnap or kill Assange during his seven years exiled in the Embassy of Ecuador in London. The agency also spied on his family and friends and led a campaign of misinformation against him.

Stella is adamant their wedding ceremony would have no legal impact on extradition since his right to a family life in the UK is determined by the fact that their sons Gabriel, four, and Max, two, are British citizens. She also has rights of residency, having lived in Britain for 20 years, although she was born in South Africa.

On Friday, the couple opened legal action paving the way for a judicial review. The case is brought against the Justice Secretary and Belmarsh Governor Jenny Louis.

The wedding stand-off began in May when Stella approached the prison chaplain to ask about arranging a ceremony. After an initial response, no further help was forthcoming. On October 7, Assange formally asked the Governor’s office to agree to a Belmarsh wedding, but he has had no reply.

On October 14, the couple’s lawyers asked the prison to grant permission for Stella and a registrar from Greenwich Register Office to visit Assange together, so the couple could give notice of their intention to wed. Three follow-up requests have failed to secure any reply.

Their legal action says this creates ‘a total and indefinite barrier not only to the claimants marrying, but even to them beginning the statutory process for the same’.

Ms Louis has told the couple’s legal team she was obliged to refer the wedding request to the Crown Prosecution Service. But their lawyers say this is irrelevant because there are no UK charges against him.

The legal action accuses Mr Raab and Ms Louis of abusing their power over Assange, behaving irrationally and unfairly, and denying the couple and their children their human rights. The have been given until November 12 to respond.

Assange took refuge in the Ecuadorian Embassy in 2012 to avoid extradition to the USA via Sweden where he faced sex offence allegations for which he was never charged. He denied those and they were later dropped. He was forcibly removed from the embassy by police in 2019 and put in Belmarsh.

He has been there ever since awaiting the outcome of the US bid to extradite him. The result of a hearing last month should be known by Christmas but unless America formally drops its case, Assange will not be imminently released.

Gather ’round, kids. Those of you with tinfoil hats may wish to ensure that they’re fitted snuggly. What I’m about to tell you will shake your faith in all the music you’ve heard in your life.

If you look down the right paths, it becomes clear that governments and various security apparatuses have used music to control us using music. All the music of the West that’s based on the standard 12-tone scale is used for the management of crowds as well as thought control.

Let’s begin with some music theory.

If musical performances were to sound the same the world over, some standardization was required. As early as 1885, the Music Commission of the Italian Government declared that all instruments and orchestras should use a tuning fork that vibrated at 440 Hz, which was different from the original standard of 435 Hz and the competing 432 Hz used in France.

In 1917, the American Federation of Musicians endorsed the Italians, followed by a further push for 440 Hz in the 1940s.

In 1953, a worldwide agreement was signed. Signatories declared that middle “A” on the piano be forevermore tuned to exactly 440 Hz. This frequency became the standard ISO-16 reference for tuning all musical instruments based on the chromatic scale, the one most often used for music in the West. All the other notes are tuned in standard mathematical ratios leading to and from 440 Hz.

This tone standard is now universally accepted, which is why a piano in Toronto sounds exactly the same as a piano in China.

Weirdly, no one can say for sure why this frequency was chosen in the first place. In fact, there those among us who vehemently disagree with this standard. In fact, they consider the 440 Hz middle “A” to be an abomination against nature.

Adherents to this theory claim that a more “natural” frequency for middle “A” is 438 Hz. Others believe that the correct middle “A” is 432 Hz (also known as Verdi’s A) because it has “a pure tone of math fundamental to nature” and is “mathematically consistent with the patterns of the universe, vibrating with Phi, the Golden Ratio. They point to how this pitch can be connected to everything from nautilus shells to the works of the ancients, including the construction of the Great Pyramid.

Furthermore, 432 Hz resonates with 8 Hz (the Schumann Resonance), the documented fundamental electromagnetic “beat” of Earth. It just feels better.

Without going too far down this rat hole, this theory says that tuning all music to 440 Hz turns it into a military weapon.

I quote from one of the many online articles on the subject: “The monopolization of the music industry features this imposed frequency that is ‘herding’ populations into greater aggression, psychosocial agitation, and emotional distress predisposing people to physical illnesses and financial impositions profiting the agents, agencies, and companies engaged in the monopoly.”

Whoa.

Going a little deeper, we end up at the doorstep of the Nazis. It is said that propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels insisted that on 440 Hz tuning in Germany because he believed it made people think and feel in specific ways, making them “a prisoner of a certain consciousness.” And if you’re trying to mobilize the population for Der Fuhrer, that’s exactly what you want, right?

There’s more from the Tinfoil Headphones crowd: “The powers that be are successfully lowering the vibrations of not only the young generation but the rest of us as well. These destructive frequencies entrain the thoughts towards disruption, disharmony, and disunity. Republicans Approve $0 for Border Wall in Democrat Infrastructure Bill

A group of 19 Senate Republicans and 13 House Republicans helped Democrats and President Joe Biden pass their $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that includes no federal funding for infrastructure, such as a border wall, to reduce illegal immigration to the United States.

As Breitbart News reported, the group of House Republicans put Democrats over the line to pass the infrastructure bill after a number of Senate Republicans helped Democrats pass the bill out of the Senate in August.

The bill provides $0 for constructing a border wall to reduce illegal immigration to the U.S., though it does provide $3.4 billion to fund projects at the southern border’s ports of entry — a pet project for moderate Democrats to claim they are helping improve the nation’s security.

The funds will go to “construction and acquisition, and repairs and alterations of border stations and land ports of entry,” as detailed in the bill.

As part of a request for records on Antifa and white supremacist groups, WSFC inadvertently bundles in “EM effects on human body.zip”

When you send thousands of FOIA requests, you are bound to get some very weird responses from time to time. Recently, we here at MuckRock had one of our most bizarre gets yet - Washington State Fusion Center’s accidental release of records on the effects of remote mind control.

As part of my ongoing project looking at fusion centers’ investigations into Antifa and various white supremacist groups, I filed a request with the WSFC. I got back many standard documents in response, including emails, intelligence briefings and bulletins, reposts from other fusion centers - and then there was one file titled “EM effects on human body.zip.”

Hmmm. What could that be? What does EM stand for and what is it doing to the human body? So I opened it up and took a look:

Hell yeah, dude.

EM stands for electromagnetic. What you are looking at here is “psycho-electronic” weapons that purportedly use electromagnetism to do a wide variety of horrible things to people, such as reading or writing your mind, causing intense pain, “rigor mortis,” or most heinous of all, itching.

Now to be clear, the presence of these records (which were not created by the fusion center, and are not government documents) should not be seen as evidence that DHS possesses these devices, or even that such devices actually exist. Which is kind of unfortunate because “microwave hearing” is a pretty cool line of technobabble to say out loud.

You know what’s even cooler? “Remote Brain Mapping.” It is insanely cool to say. Go ahead. Say it. Remote. Brain. Mapping.

Just check the detail on these slides too. The black helicopter shooting off its psychotronic weapons, mapping your brain, broadcasting your thoughts back to some fusion center. I wish their example of “ELF Brain stimulation” was a little clearer though.

It’s difficult to source exactly where these images come from, but it’s obviously not government material. One seems to come from a person named “Supratik Saha,” who is identified as a software engineer, the brain mapping slide has no sourcing, and the image of the body being assaulted by psychotronic weapons is sourced from raven1.net, who apparently didn’t renew their domain.

It’s entirely unclear how this ended up in this release. It could have been meant for another release, it could have been gathered for an upcoming WSFC report, or it could even be from the personal files of an intelligence officer that somehow got mixed up in the release. A call to the WSFC went unreturned as of press time, so until we hear back, their presence remains a mystery.

Schiff asked her if he worked on Ukraine and reported to her, and she replied that Lt Col Alexander Vindman, who testified on earlier, was the director for Ukraine and she did not oversee Patel.

In secret hearings last month Vindman had told the panel investigating Trump for impeachment that Patel had misrepresented his expertise on Ukraine to the president.

Patel was also one of two Republican staffers on the committee who was dispatched to London in 2017 to try to make contact with the lawyers for dossier author Christopher Steele, without alerting the committee's Democrats, according to reports. Before joining the House Intelligence Committee in 2017, Patel was a lawyer working on counterterrorism cases in the Justice Department's National Security Division.

Helms Arrest: Over 100 Additional Child Sex Charges Levied; 16 Known Victims, BPSO Says

A man previously arrested on five counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images now faces over 100 additional charges.

Beau Helms, 38, of Bossier City, was arrested on Oct. 21, 2021, and as Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives continue their investigation, additional evidence is resulting in new charges.

Forensic examination of his electronic devices revealed hundreds of images and videos of child pornography, BPSO says.

“Detectives also found sexual abuse involving animals on his devices and they also were able to discover that he used his devices to solicit a sexual encounter with a minor under the age of 13,” Deputy Rod White, spokesman for the BPSO, said in a release. “Of the hundreds of images and videos found on Helms’ devices, detectives were able to identify 16 known victims.”

New charges include:

11 felony counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles with a bond of $25,000 per count.

6 felony counts Sexual Abuse of an Animal with a bond of $50,000 bond per count.

107 felony counts of Computer-aided Solicitation of a Minor (Victim under 13 years of age).

Helms is currently held in the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility on a total bond for Helms is set at $1.275 million.

Investigators say anyone with information regarding crimes against children is encouraged to contact the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office at (318) 965-3418.

California 'QAnon' history teacher is recorded telling eighth graders that Hunter Biden had sex with his niece, hospitals steal babies from unvaccinated parents and that Donald Trump is still president

A California middle school teacher was recorded telling students that Hunter Biden had sex with his niece and that hospitals are stealing babies from unvaccinated parents.

In the seven-minute recording taken on October 18, the unidentified female history teacher at Anacapa Middle School in Ventura can be heard ranting at her eighth grade class on subjects ranging from vaccines and government, child pornography, the presidency - and even an alleged instance of incest by President Biden's son, Hunter Biden.

The teacher, whose wild theories are closely aligned with those of far-right group QAnon, also heavily implied to her students that Donald Trump is still president, according to mom Sarah Silikula, whose son recorded her outburst.

'People need to wake up and see the government has way too much power right now,' the educator can be heard saying in the clip.

'Hunter Biden, for example, is doing deals with China and Ukraine and all these places where he was funneling money illegally.

'He also had child pornography on his laptop. He was having sexual intercourse with his own niece.'

The educator, whose identity has not been released, told her eight grade class Hunter Biden engaged in incest with cousin, laundered money and was caught with child pornography.

The teacher also touched on vaccines during the tirade, suggesting that hospitals were secretly stealing babies from unvaccinated parents.

'If you have a baby in the hospital, they don't want to give it back if you're not vaccinated. This is a complete power control threat,' the teacher declared to the room of puzzled pupils.

The Anacapa Middle School teacher also made comments about the US justice system and the 2020 presidential election, where, at one point, a teacher's assistant can be heard suggesting to her colleague that she not discuss the election.

What's more, the schoolteacher also implied to the class that Donald Trump was still president.

In the full recording, obtained by DailyMail.com, she could be heard disputing recounts in the 2020 election, saying: 'I'm not saying the entire election (was rigged) but the states where the audits were done, yes.'

Sarah Silikula, the mother of the student who recorded the concerning comments, who had previously instructed her son to pull out his phone and start videotaping if he ever felt uncomfortable in class, told Los Angeles' CBS 2 that the impromptu lesson left her child confused and 'damaged.'

Silikula then detailed how her son absorbed the teacher's comments, growing defiant against vaccines and offering his mother a skewed perspective on the current political climate.

Outraged and upset over the contents of her son's recording, Silikula revealed that she alerted the school that day.

Her son has not attended school since, SIlikula revealed, saying she does not want her son to see the teacher, who she referred to as 'his abuser,' ever again.

She further told DailyMail.com that her son is scared to return to school as well, telling his parents that he fears running into the teacher.

After speaking with staffers, Silikula revealed to DailyMail.com that the school's principal, Mayra Vega Manriquez, subsequently begged the concerned mother not to speak with anyone else about the incident and wait for the school to conduct an internal investigation, which Silikula was told would take two weeks.

However, once the designated deadline for the internal probe arrived on Tuesday and the mother had not heard back, she decided to go public with the troubling recording.

After speaking with several outlets, Silikula says she was contacted by Ventura County's assistant superintendent Tuesday night, who assured her that he had spoken to Anacapa's HR department, and offered the vexed mother some vague consolation.

According to Silikula, during the Tuesday phone call, the assistant principal assured her that her son did not need to worry about running into the teacher when her returned to school.

Silikula responded by asking the assistant superintendent to put his guarantee in writing, and has not heard back since.

'I trusted her to teach him the facts about history and she went off on this rant like a preacher on a pulpit,' Silikula remarked.

DailyMail.com has contacted Ventura County School District for further comment.

The mother told DailyMail.com that she was concerned and upset by the fact that other parents of children in the class were unaware of the teacher's political comments in the classroom, priming her to act when confronted by the contents of her son's recording.

'I'm never getting vaccinated,' the boy reportedly told his mom, before adding, 'I'm never getting any more shots of any kind. Did you know Trump's still president?'

'"She’s right, Dad. You're wrong."'

Silikula also revealed how the history instructor's comments harmed her relationship with her child, explaining that the youth believed his teacher's questionable statements.

'He’s damaged. He’s hurt. He’s scared. He doesn’t trust his parents now. He thinks we lied to him,' Silikula said of her son.

'I mean, why? Why does that need to be said in this classroom full of children?' Silikula asked the outlet in the Tuesday interview.

The Ventura Unified School District announced that they conducted an investigation into the incident, and no charges against the teacher were filed.

The district, however, did tell CBSLA that they do not condone the discussion that took place, and said that they are following the 'progressive discipline policy,' citing an ongoing agreement with the teachers' union, which would have the teacher in question notified of her wrongdoings and instructed on how to rectify her behavior in the classroom.

The school's superintendent also told Silikula that her son's class was moved to a different teacher after the incident, she revealed Tuesday.

The peeved parent, however, told CBSLA that the lesson she wants people to take from the occurrence is that a teacher's opinion - political or otherwise - should not be taught in the classroom.

As of Wednesday, the unnamed history teacher is still employed at the school, and has reportedly accepted responsibility for her contentious comments.
