Canadian PM Accuses Freedom Convoy of “Hateful Rhetoric” & “Violence” - Critics call Trudeau "Tyrant on the Run"

 

Justin Trudeau has condemned the protests against vaccine mandates which has rolled into a third day of mass movement - adding he stands with Black Lives Matter demonstrations against so-called “violence.”

 

“I have chosen to not go anywhere near the protests that have expressed hateful rhetoric,” the PM said accusing truckers of disrespecting health workers.

 

The PM - who's tested positive for coronavirus - rejected meeting them saying to engage with them would be "to put up with and tacitly support conspiracy theorists and folks peddling misinformation".

 

Ottawa's City Councilor is looking to take legal action for $10MN from the convoy over the weekend protests.

Atlanta’s district attorney asked the FBI to conduct a security-risk assessment of the city’s courthouse and an adjacent government center.

The request by Fani Willis, the top prosecutor in Fulton County, came a day after Donald Trump called on supporters to hold “the biggest protests we’ve ever had” in places where he is being investigated.

A judge recently approved Willis’ request to impanel a special grand jury for her probe of Trump for possible criminal interference in the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

The DA cited the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol in her request. That riot disrupted the confirmation of President Joe Biden as the election winner.

They say autonomous trucks will change our lives, and most Canadians just aren't prepared.

 

"The impacts of this technology will be profound," said Paul Godsmark, chief technology officer at the Canadian Automated Vehicle Centre of Excellence, a non-profit consultancy.

 

A California company called Peloton Technologies is already running trucks equipped with a semi-autonomous platooning system that synchronizes the speed and braking of two or more trucks travelling together. This allows the trailing trucks to safely tailgate and increase their fuel efficiency by decreasing wind resistance.

 

Humans not needed

Trucks that don't need a driver at all are on the road south of the border, too, but so far they have a human behind the wheel in case of equipment failure. But that could soon change, with trucks potentially driving solo on U.S. roads as early as the end of next year, Godsmark says.

 

The economic pressure to get a piece of what experts say will be a multitrillion-dollar industry — five times bigger than the smartphone business — has led to vicious competition to get the first fully autonomous trucks on the road.

The financial incentives will be irresistible. Between running a vehicle without a human and running it more hours a day, going autonomous will double efficiency in the thin-margin trucking business.

 

Once the technology is proven to work, Godsmark says, it will work on any vehicle big or small.

Freedom Convoy: Trudeau calls trucker protest an 'insult to truth'

Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has slammed protests in the capital city against Covid-19 vaccine mandates as "an insult to memory and truth".

 

Protesters are demonstrating for a third consecutive day over a cross-border vaccine mandate for truckers imposed by the Liberal government.

 

Ottawa police asked the public to avoid the downtown area on Monday, citing "traffic, noise and safety issues".

 

Some downtown stores, including a shopping mall, will also be closed.

 

Demonstrators at the so-called Freedom Convoy have been mostly peaceful but the behaviour of some members of the crowd has been strongly criticised.

 

Police have opened investigations into several reported incidents, including footage of a woman dancing on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the National War Memorial. Nazi symbolism was seen on some protest signs, some likening Covid-19 health measures to Jews under Nazi persecution….

Today is the last day of January, 2022.

 

Election integrity is still under attack with no substantial actions from AG Brnovich who is best positioned with the most evidence to indict.

 

AG Brnovich has had months now to make indictments related to the reports given to him.

 

A few months ago, I came across what I believe is one of the draft reports that was sent to AG Brnovich, and some of the video sent to AG Brnovich.

BP Turned a ‘Blind Eye’ to Corruption in Prize Azerbaijan Gas Project

 

Leaked documents show two Azerbaijan state companies were set to siphon off $1.7 billion from Shah Deniz 2, which feeds the Southern Gas Corridor to Europe.

 

Using fake charges and padded contracts, two companies owned by Azerbaijan’s state oil company looted the expansion of BP’s operations in the Caspian Sea, known as Shah Deniz 2.

BP was repeatedly alerted to accusations of corruption on the project but took no action, multiple sources told OCCRP.

Much of the money was set to be paid before any profits went to Azerbaijan’s state budget, meaning it would come from the public purse.

Around the same time, the director of one of the state companies and his wife bought lavish properties worth over $10 million in Miami.

Hundreds of millions of dollars disappeared as Azerbaijan carried out a broad clampdown on civil society and independent journalism.

In 2013, hundreds of laborers from a factory run by Bos Shelf, an Azerbaijani state-owned manufacturer of offshore oil and gas infrastructure, went on strike demanding higher wages and benefits.

 

“Our salary is very low,” Igbal Damirov, a factory worker, told Radio Azadliq, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s Azerbaijani Service. “We do not have health insurance, we are severely punished by foreigners for the most common mistake, we are fired, we are insulted.”

 

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), which owns Bos Shelf LLC, promised to investigate. But in 2017, the workers made a public appeal to President Ilham Aliyev to intervene, claiming that Bos Shelf was misappropriating their pay. They singled out its general director, Ikhtiyar Akhundov, alleging he stole “millions every month” and employed his family on inflated salaries.

 

“There is nepotism, landlordism, and gangsterism at the plant,” the workers said in a statement. “Workers who protest against this injustice are fired.”

 

Throughout those years Bos Shelf was a lead contractor on a multi-billion-dollar expansion of U.K. oil giant BP’s operations in Azerbaijan’s Caspian Sea. Named Shah Deniz 2, after the vast offshore field it draws from, the development is today pumping gas thousands of kilometers west to the European Union through the Southern Gas Corridor.

 

But as its workers were complaining they could barely make ends meet, Bos Shelf was cashing in. Long story short.

 

Mayor issues an order banning the Covid-walks. Not the only town to do so.

 

This town used the official state statutes (Baden-Württemberg) that the police use for crowd containment in their decree. Could lead to physically pushing, dragging away or the use of weapons. Billy clubs and pepper spray are the weapons alluded to.

 

So when the town wrote up the decree they just used the language the police use for enforcing crowd control. Waffengebrauch (use of weapons) was interpreted as fire arms by some but it means billy clius or peppers pray when dealing with crowd control.

Under Biden Proposal, Everyone Including Kids Could More Easily Get Transgender Surgery

 

The Biden administration is pushing for more insurers, and thus anyone who buys their insurance, to cover transgender surgeries. Such genital, breast, and facial surgery, as well as hormone therapy and more, would be considered “medically necessary” for those wishing to identify with the other sex.

 

Discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability is prohibited in federally funded health-care facilities under the Affordable Care Act, passed during the Obama administration. A proposed rule, issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on January 5, would add “sexual orientation and gender identity” to that list.

 

The rule “places ideology ahead of sound medicine,” the Ethics and Public Policy Center said in a comment Thursday opposing the rule. It “is without legal support, contradicts long-standing scientific understandings of the human person, attempts to evade court injunctions, promotes harm to patients (especially minors), tramples religious freedom,” and more, according to the EPPC.

 

Taxpayers are already paying for transgender procedures, as they are covered by the federal program Medicaid in some states. Some insurers also already cover the procedures.

 

“Nearly half of transgender respondents in one survey said their health insurance company denied them gender affirming [sic] surgery, and a similar proportion reported that they were denied coverage for hormone therapy,” the proposed rule states, in reference to a Center for American Progress study.

Kids Included Despite the Evidence

 

The rule appears to offer no exclusion for children, Roger Severino, a senior fellow at the EPPC, told The Federalist. It would “put kids on a transgender treadmill and they don’t get off,” Severino said. Children could take puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones only to regret it later when they have damaged their bodies and may find they are infertile, he said.

 

Indeed, the rule offers legal cover to “those experimenting on these kids,” according to Severino, who was the director of the HHS Office for Civil Rights during the Trump administration. By requiring insurers to cover such surgeries, the rule will make it much harder for adolescents to sue later, he said.

 

There is no medical consensus that such treatments help with gender dysphoria, and leading health authorities around the world are ending or curtailing opposite-sex interventions for minors, according to the EPPC scholars.

 

“It is well known that symptoms of gender dysphoria in children naturally resolve with little to no intervention in 61-98% of cases and that once a child is placed on transition, including through medical intervention, the odds of persistence skyrocket,” the EPPC scholars wrote in their comments on the rule.

 

It’s also not clear how the nondiscrimination provisions will apply to religious organizations and people. HHS needs to explain how it will enforce the proposed nondiscrimination provisions in ways that comply with conscience and religious freedom protection laws, the EPPC says.

Special Counsel ‘Clarification’ Reveals The DOJ’s Inspector General Is Not A Team Player

 

Friday’s clarification should cause a renewed focus on the most shocking revelation in Durham’s ‘discovery update.’

 

Last Tuesday, Special Counsel John Durham’s office filed a “discovery update” along with a request for an extension of time to provide Michael Sussmann documents related to the government’s pending criminal case against the former Clinton campaign lawyer. Much like the talking indictment Durham filed against Sussmann late last year, the discovery update made public several significant revelations, one of which the special counsel’s office was forced to “clarify” on Friday.

 

Rather than cast a shadow over the details revealed in the special counsel’s original filing, Friday’s clarification should cause a renewed focus on the most shocking revelation in Durham’s “discovery update”: that early on in the Trump administration, Sussmann met with the inspector general and conveyed a claim that his client, Rodney Joffe, had “seen” a Department of Justice Office of Inspector General (OIG) employee’s computer connect to a foreign IP address.

 

Why? Because the OIG apparently found nothing for Durham to “correct” concerning the Sussmann-Joffe connection detailed in the special counsel’s initial “discovery update.”

 

The public has known about Sussmann’s connection to “Tech Executive-1,” Joffe, since September 2021. The special counsel’s indictment of Sussmann alleged Joffe “had exploited his access to non-public data at multiple Internet companies to conduct opposition research concerning Trump.” Then, according to the indictment, Joffe and Sussmann “coordinated . . . with representatives and agents of the Clinton Campaign with regard to the data and written materials that SUSSMANN gave to the FBI and the media,” concerning a supposed communications channel between the Trump Organization and the Russian Alfa-Bank.”

 

In providing that information to the FBI, specifically the FBI’s General Counsel James Baker, the indictment charged that “Sussmann lied about the capacity in which he was providing the allegations to the FBI.” Sussmann falsely stated that “he was not doing his work on the aforementioned allegations ‘for any client,’” when in fact he was working on behalf of both the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign and Joffe, the special counsel’s indictment alleged.

A Second Sussmann-Joffe Connection

 

Last week, the special counsel’s office revealed a second connection between Sussmann and Joffe, with this contact involving the OIG rather than the FBI. In the “discovery update” filed last Tuesday by the special counsel’s office, Durham explained that in mid-December, the OIG provided Durham a written forensic report concerning a “cyber-related matter.”

 

That forensic report summarized a claim Sussmann had made on behalf of one of his then-unnamed clients to an OIG Special Agent in Charge that, in early 2017, his client “had observed that a specific OIG employee’s computer was ‘seen publicly’ in ‘Internet traffic’ and was connecting to a Virtual Private Network in a foreign country.”

 

In providing Durham’s team the “forensic report,” the OIG office represented “that it had ‘no other file[] or other documentation’ relating to this cyber matter.” However, in last week’s discovery update, Durham’s team told the court it later learned from Sussmann’s attorneys that Sussmann had personally met with the DOJ inspector general in March 2017, when he passed on this “tip” to the OIG.

 

Also, significantly, while Sussmann had not told the OIG his client’s name at the time, his lawyers informed the special counsel’s office that his client who had “seen publicly” the OIG employee’s computer connecting to a VPN in a foreign country was Tech Executive-1—i.e., Joffe.

 

After learning these additional details, the special counsel’s office contacted the OIG again and then learned for the first time that Sussmann had met not just with the inspector general but also his then-general counsel about the cyber matter involving Joffe’s tip. That follow-up resulted in the OIG providing Durham additional documentation related to Sussmann’s meeting with the OIG office, even though the OIG had previously claimed there was no further documentation related to that incident.

Next, we found out that the bulk of absentee ballots cast in Pennsylvania in the 2020 Election were determined to be invalid by a court in that state. The court ruled that blanket absentee ballots, not in agreement with state laws, were not legitimate in the state. The bulk of the absentee ballots counted in the 2020 Election in that state were as a result, invalid.

 

What did the DOJ and FBI do in response to this news alone? As far as we know, nothing. We didn’t hear a peep from these individuals led by the same group of corrupt individuals that were behind the Trump-Russia collusion lie and attempted coup.
