In the ancient times, Welsh people followed a patronymic naming system. Patronymics is the process of giving the child his father’s given or forename as the first name. ''On August 23, 1987, the bodies of 16-year-old Don Henry and 17-year-old Kevin Ives were hit by a cargo train in Alexander, Arkansas as they lay on the tracks. The train driver attempted to stop and blew the horn, but the momentum of the train carried it over the bodies. It was later discovered during autopsy that Don Henry had been stabbed in the back and Kevin Ives’ skull had been crushed prior to being run over.''

The deaths were initially ruled an accident, apparently the result of the boys' sleeping deeply on the tracks while intoxicated by marijuana. The parents of the boys insisted on a second autopsy, and after exhumation it was ruled that homicide was likely. Later, another pathologist ruled that Don Henry's shirt showed evidence of a stab wound.

Background

About 4:00 a.m. on August 23, 1987, workers on a 75-car, 6,000-ton Union Pacific freight train, more than a mile long and traveling at a rate more than 50 miles per hour, en route to Little Rock, Arkansas, spotted two boys lying motionless across the tracks, about 300 feet ahead.[1] Those on the train also stated that the bodies were partly covered by a green tarpaulin, [2] though police disputed the existence of any such tarp and none was ever recovered from the scene. Nearby were a .22 caliber rifle and a flashlight. The boys did not move, despite the roar of the train, its brakes, and its emergency horn. More than 1,000 feet of the decelerating train crossed the point where the bodies lay before the brakes brought to it a stop.

Those on the train reported the incident to railroad and law enforcement authorities. By 4:40 a.m., police arrived on the scene. Police never found a tarp.[3]

The boys had reportedly left home about midnight to go hunting. The gun and flashlight near the bodies suggested they were using a hunting technique known as spotlighting, which involves blinding the prey with bright light before shooting it, and is illegal in their area.

Autopsies

The state medical examiner, Dr. Fahmy Malak, ruled the deaths an accident as a result of marijuana intoxication, saying the boys had smoked the equivalent of 20 marijuana cigarettes and fell asleep on the tracks.[4] The parents did not accept this finding and conducted their own investigation.

In March 1988, Dr. James Garriot of San Antonio offered a second opinion and was skeptical of the findings about marijuana. A second autopsy by Georgia medical examiner Dr. Joseph Burton found the equivalent of one or two marijuana cigarettes, not 20. A grand jury ruled the deaths a "probable homicide."[5] When it was found that Don Henry's shirt contained evidence of a stab wound to the back, and Kevin Ives' skull may have been crushed by his own rifle, the ruling was changed to "definite homicide."[6] Don Henry's father also noted that he did not believe his son would have risked his gun getting scratched by laying it on gravel.

Suspects and theories

One week before the boys died, a man wearing military fatigues was spotted not far from the train tracks. When police officer Danny Allen attempted to stop him, the man opened fire and managed to disappear into the night. On the same night the boys died, a similar-looking man dressed in military fatigues was spotted nearby.

The usual theory given about the boys' deaths, believed by Linda Ives, involves drug trafficking.[7][8][9] The theory is that the boys came upon a drug drop from an airplane similar to Barry Seal's operations near Mena and were murdered.

Dan Harmon, a prosecutor of the case, who was later arrested for dealing drugs,[10] is one person implicated in the murder. Keith McCaskle, also implicated in the murder, was stabbed to death by an unknown attacker[11] on November 10, 1988.[12]

The case was profiled on the television program Unsolved Mysteries.

Thorn was a Holocaust denier and anti-Semite whose books included The Holocaust Hoax Exposed, 9-11 EVIL: Israel’s Central Role in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks, and a trilogy “exposing” Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as numerous articles for the anti-Semitic, conspiracist American Free Press (AFP). Though AFP reported that Thorn’s family and friends described his death as a suicide, his death was immediately seized upon by AFP eulogists and others as further “proof” that the Clintons make a habit of “murdering” their enemies.

Michael Brian Vanderboegh

Michael Brian Vanderboegh, antigovernment militia activist and co-founder of the extremist Three Percent movement who once mailed the editor of this magazine a realistic-looking plastic human skull, died Aug. 10 at the age of 64. Vanderboegh, who bragged that he had been on the “enemies lists of the last THREE White Houses,” appeared on the national antigovernment scene during the 1993 siege of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. Phyllis Schlafly

Phyllis Schlafly, ultraconservative anti-feminist, antigovernment conspiracy theorist and anti-gay agitator, died on Sept. 5 at the age of 92. Schlafly entered the public sphere in the 1950s by denouncing communism, opposing limits on nuclear testing, and gunning for a constitutional amendment to prevent the president from negotiating international treaties. A devout Catholic, she mobilized conservative women in favor of public school prayer after the Supreme Court banned it in the 1960s and became a household name in the 1970s, when her “Stop ERA” movement successfully derailed the Equal Rights Amendment for women. Charles Weisman, a Christian Identity publisher and promoter of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, died on Oct. 8. He was in his early 60s. Weisman, a self-proclaimed scholar who trafficked in the sort of conspiracy theories that feature clandestine rabbinical counsels plotting a Jewish takeover of the planet, subscribed to a version of the anti-Semitic theology called Christian Identity, which holds that Jews are a cursed people intent on destroying the white race. He ran Weisman Publications out of a suburb of Minneapolis, Minn., selling over 90 titles, including his own works and anti-Semitic classics such as the forged Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, which purports to reveal a secret plan by Jewish “elders” plotting world domination. “My beliefs are grounded in the truths I’ve found out in my study, my research,” he told City Pages of Minneapolis in 2015. “The biggest farce in the world [is that Jews are] God’s chosen people.”

‘Goodfellas’ actor Ray Liotta passed away in his sleep in the Dominican Republic at the age of 67.

Democrats Introduced Bill to Get Police Out of Schools – Despite Slaughtered Children

In February 2018, a crazed teen gunman who was on the FBI radar, opened fire on students inside the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. The psychopath who had threatened murder several times in his past killed 17 people and injuring 17 others.

This was not the first school shooting in America. It was not the last.

In July 2020 top Democrats introduced legislation to get police out of schools despite the slaughtered children.

Senator Chris Murphy told his fellow lawmakers, “Police shouldn’t be in schools.”

On Tuesday 19 children and two teachers were murdered by a deranged teen gunman at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

The deaths of Black people at the hands of police this year ignited an important conversation about police reform in this country. A number of proposals have been introduced to address various facets of policing at the federal, state, and local levels. This week, Democratic lawmakers in Congress added to that list with a bill to get police out of schools.

Senators Chris Murphy (CT) and Elizabeth Warren (MA), along with Representatives Ayanna Pressley (MA) and Ilhan Omar (MN), introduced the Counseling Not Criminalization in Schools Act that would prohibit federal money to be used to fund police in schools. The lawmakers said this would prevent money from being diverted from important student service providers, like counselors and social workers.

The legislation has the backing of the two major teachers’ unions, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA). It also has the support of a number of civil rights organizations, including the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and the Human Rights Campaign.

“Police shouldn’t be in schools,” said Senator Murphy in a statement. “There are plenty of better ways to ensure that our schools are safe places to learn, and Congress needs to understand how police in schools ends up with the wrong kids getting arrested for minor disciplinary actions and resources being drained from more effective programs.”

When I asked the then Inspector General George Ellard to investigate what I originally thought was a gross ethics breach, I found myself viciously targeted instead. I had witnesses lined up but found they were either ignored or threatened by the IG or NSA Security, quite contrary to their duty and purpose. Then I found myself ordered to take an out of routine polygraph by a man who screamed at me just before the polygraph in order to skew my results. Of course, after he screamed at me, I asked to come back another day when the polygraph tech had not breached protocol and purposely upset the subject, but he refused and threatened to have me arrested right then and there by the FBI and taken to jail in DC… because I did not want his screaming at me out of the blue to sabotage my polygraph! I said for the record, I had never had a problem on a polygraph but taking one after being abuse would certainly skew the proper results. A week later, I was called by security to say I had not passed (the first time ever in 20+ years) and was scheduled to take a second in a month. I knew I had been set up because of my IG complaint. The second test was deemed indeterminate, the third three months later was a pass. That polygraph tech interviewed me two hours in regard to my situation and remarked how I had no record of job problems at all and had indeed never had a polygraph problem before this. She revealed at the end of the test that I had cleanly passed it and had actually passed the second as well, but they had wanted to confirm with a third test. You would think that would be the end, but no. The same people who lied to the promotion board had fabricated some secret allegation against me and NSA Security was on board with framing me to get me fired at least, if not falsely imprisoned, to shut me up. Could an ethics breach deserve such a psychotic and criminal over-reaction by those actually in charge of keeping ethics strong at the workplace?

CNN apologizes to China

A guest on the network falsely claimed that Chinese diplomats sat down during a standing ovation for Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky

CNN apologized on Thursday to China’s Global Times newspaper for a broadcast on Wednesday in which US Representative Michael McCaul accused a Chinese delegation of remaining seated during a standing ovation for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a World Economic Forum meeting. The seated delegation were Vietnamese, according to Chinese reports.

McCaul, a Republican from Texas, told CNN on Wednesday that he had been sitting in front of a “Chinese delegation” during Zelensky’s speech at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, on Monday. McCaul said that as leaders in attendance stood and clapped for the Ukrainian president, this delegation remained seated in silence, before walking out of the auditorium.

CNN displayed video footage of the diplomats in their seats, and McCaul told the network that the scene “sent a clear message they do not support Ukraine.”

However, Beijing denied that its diplomats were even in the room at the time, and Foreign Ministry Spokesman Wang Wenbin called on McCaul to correct his statement. CNN, however, addressed the error first.

“We regret the error that appeared on our air … we reached out to McCaul’s office for a statement,” the network told the Global Times in an email on Thursday.

The Global Times had published an extensive article on the mixup on Wednesday. Citing other Chinese media sources, the newspaper noted that one of the men in the picture behind McCaul appeared to be the deputy prime minister of Vietnam. Vietnamese media reported earlier in the week that the deputy PM, Le Minh Khai, would attend Davos on Monday and Tuesday.

McCaul, who sits on the Republican Party’s ‘China Task Force’, has not yet addressed the incident.

Sussmann Defense Team Reveals FBI Knew Sussmann Worked for Hillary Clinton and Yet Still Moved Forward with Alfa Bank Investigation

The Michael Sussmann case moved to the defense team on Wednesday after the prosecution ended their presentation of evidence against the former federal prosecutor and a former partner at the law firm Perkins Coie. They immediately presented something not so shocking.

Michael Sussmann met with the FBI as a client representative of the Hillary Clinton Campaign weeks before his one-on-one meeting with the bureau’s top lawyer before the election in 2016.

The Courthouse News Service reported on yesterday’s activities in the Sussmann trial.

After prosecutors rested their case in the Michael Sussmann trial on Wednesday, a federal jury learned for the first time that he met with the FBI as the client representative for Hillary Clinton’s campaign just weeks before his infamous one-on-one meeting with the bureau’s top lawyer in 2016.

The government has repeatedly insisted that the bureau did not know that Sussmann was legal counsel for the campaign — in litigation related to Russian hacking groups’ accessing Democratic National Committee servers — when he met with then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in 2016 and gave him data files allegedly containing evidence of secret communications between then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russia’s Alfa Bank.

The government claims that if the FBI knew during the September 2016 meeting that Sussmann was representing the campaign in other matters, the bureau might have taken different steps in its investigation of the Trump-Alfa Bank information he brought, which he said was “not on behalf of a client.”

They were all in on it. It wasn’t just the Hillary team trying to fool the FBI. They worked together. Durham’s case rests on the argument that Sussmann came into James Baker’s office and provided Baker garbage on a Trump-Alfa Bank connection and that Baker was unaware that Sussmann worked for Hillary.

But Baker was Comey’s top lawyer at the FBI. They all knew who was working for who.

Sussmann’s evidence indicates that the FBI knew the information coming from Sussmann was garbage and they ran with it anyway. The FBI knew the information was coming from Hillary Clinton’s campaign. They were all in on it.

Rodney Joffe Was “The Christopher Steele of the Alfa Bank Narrative” – He Pushed Alfa Bank Garbage, Was an FBI Source and Was Fired as an FBI Source

Rodney Joffe was a confidential FBI source who worked on Russia-related matters. This was confirmed in yesterday’s evidence supplied in the case against Michael Sussmann.

Yesterday (Wednesday) the government (Durham) ended their arguments in their case against Hillary attorney Michael Sussmann and the defense took over. There were some shocking news that the defense brought up almost immediately about Rodney Joffe.

The New York Post reported in September 2021 on Joffe who was then identified in the Sussmann case:

Joffe, who’s not accused of any wrongdoing, “retained Sussman as his lawyer” in February 2015 in connection with an unspecified “matter involving an agency of the US government,” according to the indictment.

Sussman’s indictment is part of special counsel John Durham’s probe of the FBI investigation into claims that Trump’s campaign colluded with Russian officials.

Joffe’s LinkedIn profile says he retired earlier this month as senior vice president and security chief technology officer at Neustar Inc., a Reston, Va.-based company that provides various internet-related services and products to more than 8,000 commercial and government clients around the world.

Techno Fog reported that a witness yesterday reported that IT specialist Rodney Joffe worked for the FBI as a source and he worked on Russia-related matters in the past as well.

Today we saw some important testimony in the Michael Sussmann case. First, Rodney Joffe, an FBI confidential human source, went around his FBI handler to relay dubious Alfa Bank information to a friend at the FBI. Second, there were indications that Joffe previously worked on Russia cyber security matters.

Kash Patel was with Jan Jekielek from the Epoch Times to discuss Wednesday’s events at the Michael Sussmann trial in Washington DC. (This two-minute discussion is available on Truth.)

In their discussion, Patel and Jekielek share that they were in the courtroom yesterday and they found some of the testimony riveting. Patel thought some items were the biggest stories of the week. He shared:

Neustar, the company that Rodney Joffe worked for, paid out 3+ million dollars to Perkins Coie, the lawfirm that Michael Sussmann worked at and headed up all the Clinton campaign disinformation campaign, be it the Steele Dossier or the Alfa Bank nonsence. And Joffe was the lead guy at Neustar pushing the Alfa Bank material. So now that’s a multimillion dollar plan of action that’s been shown in court today.

Patel and Jekielek also discussed how Sussman billed the Clinton campaign for the thumb drives he used to pass information on to the FBI. Then they discussed in another Truth post the following where Patel shares:

Today the most significant development for me, Rodney Joffe it’s been disclosed was an actual source of the FBI for years. That means he was on the books, had a contractual relationship with the FBI and was getting paid by the FBI. He was the Christopher Steele of the Alfa Bank narrative.

More importantly, it was shown that Rodney Joffe was fired as a source from the FBI, just like Christopher Steele. And it was shown that Rodney Joffe had a cutout in this FBI Agent’s Grosso’s testimony. This is unbelievable. It violates every rule of source handling I’ve ever encountered when I was a federal prosecutor, and a federal public defender, and there’s so much more to untangle in this web.

EU Proposes to Make Breaking Russia Sanctions a Crime

The move would allow the EU to confiscate assets of companies and individuals that don't follow EU sanctions on Russia

On Wednesday, the EU’s European Commission proposed to make breaking EU sanctions on Russia a crime, which would make it easier for the bloc to confiscate assets of people and companies that evade sanctions.

“Today’s proposals aim to ensure that the assets of individuals and entities that violate the restrictive measures can be effectively confiscated in the future,” the European Commission said in a statement.

Confiscating assets means they can be taken, sold, and used by the EU as opposed to freezing them, which only denies the targeted person access to their assets.

Breaking Russia sanctions is currently a crime in 12 EU nations. In 13 EU countries, it is either a criminal offense or an administrative offense, and two EU members only consider it an administrative offense.

Wednesday’s proposal would make evading Russia sanctions a serious criminal offense in all 27 EU countries. It would mean the EU could confiscate the assets of anyone who helped facilitate the skirting of sanctions, including lawyers and bankers.

The EU is also considering selling off the assets of already-sanctioned individuals, including Russian billionaires, to use the funds for Ukraine. President Biden is looking for similar power, but the federal government seizing private property without due process is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment.

Border Patrol agents saw taking down Uvalde gunman as 'suicide' mission

EXCLUSIVE — UVALDE, Texas — The elite tactical agents in the Border Patrol credited with taking down the gunman in Tuesday’s mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, thought they were attempting a “suicide” mission in charging a barricaded shooter, a senior Homeland Security official said.

Parents on the scene outside the school amid the chaos criticized law enforcement for taking too long to act. A senior federal law enforcement official familiar with the investigation into the incident told the Washington Examiner on Thursday that the Border Patrol agents had been appointed by the local and state law enforcement on the site to lead that aspect of the response.

First responders on the scene recognized that the attacker, Salvador Ramos, had barricaded himself inside a classroom and was not targeting other classrooms. The early reporting on the shooting included confusion about whether Ramos targeted one or two classrooms.

“It was two rooms that were connected, so that’s why there’s misinformation. The gunman went into both,” the federal official said. “By entering the door from the hallway, you’d have access to both.”

Ramos had barricaded himself inside the joint classroom with his AR-style semi-automatic rifle, a weapon superior to the handguns police were carrying. The official said that breaching the room was seen as nearly impossible because of the disparity.

“If you have a barricaded subject and he has the advantage because he’s barricaded — if you rush through the door, not only do you have dead kids but dead cops,” the official said. "It’s suicide to try to rush a barricaded subject."

Police wanted to keep Ramos in an isolated area to prevent him from going to other classrooms.

Because of the school’s location in a town of 15,000 residents located just 60 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border and itself the home to a Border Patrol station, federal agents were among the police who responded to the shooting. While some police broke windows in order to pull children and teachers from the unaffected classrooms, highly trained agents who came in from the surrounding area were tasked with coming up with a plan to confront the attacker.

Two or three Border Patrol Tactical Unit, or BORTAC, agents and one Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue, or BORSTAR, agent chose to attempt busting into the classroom and taking on the direct fire. Two sheriff’s deputies accompanied the agents inside.

"I don’t think a lot of people would make that decision. To me, it just speaks to those individuals who decided to make entry," the official said.

BORTAC agents were among those sent in to respond to the fiery riots waged by antifa rioters in Portland in 2020. BORTAC agents make up a tiny percentage of the Border Patrol’s 19,500 agents and are trained to respond to emergency and high-risk incidents.

“You come up with a plan and execute. A local sheriff’s deputy who does great work — kudos to him — isn’t going to take charge at the same level as a BORTAC guy that shows up,” the official said.

The shooter’s plans have not yet been disclosed by investigators. The federal official familiar with the investigation said he does not believe Ramos followed through on what he had intended to do that day, potentially going through every classroom.

“I think he went in the classroom and did what he did and was like, ‘I’m going to hold up here until the final shootout happens,'" the official said.
