Hundreds of thousands of young people in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea have expressed willingness to enlist in the armed forces, the country’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Saturday. The outlet said this was due to aggressive US posturing toward North Korea, which was “reaching the limit that can no longer be tolerated.”

 

The KCNA claimed that on Friday alone“over 800,000 Youth League officialsand young students across the countryardently petitionedfor enlistment and military service in the People’s Army.” According to the report, that number “continues to increase throughout the country.”

 

The state-run outlet named Kim Il-sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Hamhung University of Chemical Technology, and Nampo Normal University among the educational facilities where students have volunteered to serve in the military.

 

Theyoung people’s “zeal”comes at a time when American “war maniacs” as well as “their puppet traitors,” – an apparent reference to South Korea – were embarking on an effort to destroy the North, the agency said. The report accused the two allies of “aggressively violating” Pyongyang’s sovereignty and security interests “to the greatest extent in history.”

 

On Thursday, North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un oversaw the launch of a Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), saying the show of force was intended to “strike fear into enemies” and to “deter war,” as quoted by the KCNA.

 

Pyongyang conducted three other ballistic missile tests earlier this week.

 

Explaining the need for the uptick in testing, Kim cited American and South Korean “open hostility toward the DPRK” which has manifested itself in the two nations staging “reckless” and “large-scale” exercises on the Korean Peninsula.

 

Pyongyang has repeatedly stated that it views such drills by Washington and Seoul as preparation for an attack.

 

Codenamed ‘Freedom Shield,’ the maneuvers kicked off on Monday and are set to continue into next week. The two allies have described the drill as the largest of its kind in five years, and blamed the North for destabilizing actions they say warrant increased readiness.

 

The US and South Korea have already held several other military exercises this year, some of them involving B-52H strategic bombers.

God knows when we mean it because God can hear us and feel us in real time. In fact what we think is real rn is past tense for God because everything we see is old news already manifested. EVERYTHING comes from the unseen FIRST and that's why we walk by faith and not by sight.

Can we hear God? If it feels good, then yes, that's love and the lines of communication are open. If it feels bad then no, u are listening to the ego who will always tell you to be scared and it's not safe to trust God and the lines are pinched off.

Trump failed to disclose dozens of foreign gifts – report

Former US President Donald Trump and his family failed to report over 100 gifts to the tune of nearly $300,000, House Democrats claimed on Friday, raising questions about whether this could have impacted Washington’s foreign policy.

 

According to anew interim staff report released by Democratson the US House of Representatives Oversight Committee, the undisclosed presents include 16 gifts from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with a Saudi dagger valued at up to $24,000 and two sword sets with a total value of $8,800 listed among other things.

 

Other allegedly unreported gifts include a larger-than-life-sized painting of Trump commissioned by the president of El Salvador, a $4,600 model of the Taj Mahal from India, golf clubs from former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, as well as books and art items from Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

 

“In total, records indicate that former President Trump and the First Family received 117 unreported foreign gifts, valued at roughly $291,000,” the report states.

 

This discovery “raises significant questions about why former President Trump failed to disclose these gifts to the public, as required by federal law,” the report argues. It was referring to Foreign Gifts and Decorations Act stipulating that US officials disclose all such presents exceeding a certain minimum value, which is currently set at $415.

 

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Maryland), ranking member on the panel, accused the Trump administration of “brazen disregard for the rule of law” and a “systematic mishandling of large gifts from foreign governments.”

 

He also noted that some big-ticket gifts – including Trump’s portrait from El Salvador – were missing, adding that House Democrats are determined to find out whether the presents “may have been used to influence the president in his conduct of US foreign policy.”

 

These accusations come after the Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee released records on Thursday alleging that members of US President Joe Biden’s family received more than $1 million from an associate who had business dealings with a Chinese energy company.

 

This sum was said to have been distributed among the president’s son Hunter Biden, his brother James Biden, and his daughter-in-law Hallie Biden. Putin signs stricter law combating fake news about military

The legal protection now also extends to volunteer fighters

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday signed amendments into law imposing harsher punishments for disinformation about the Russian armed forces. The legislation, which was approved by the parliament earlier this month, expands the law’s coverage to volunteer fighters.

 

Previously, legal protection against slander and disinformation covered only the official armed forces. The new measure includes "volunteer battalions, organizations or individuals assisting the completion of tasks, set before the armed forces of the Russian Federation."

 

The punishment for an offense can range from fines of 100,000 rubles ($1300) to 1.5 million rubles ($19,485) or up to seven years in prison and a ban on holding public office.

 

Private military company Wagner Group is one of the most well-known volunteer formations taking part in Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. The organization’s head, Evgeny Prigozhin, campaigned for legal protection against disinformation about his fighting force. He also argued earlier this month that the law should not extend to top military commanders, as to not stifle "public and constructive criticism" which helps them to "work responsibly."

Police raid former Pakistani PM’s home

The operation occurred as Imran Khan was on his way to court to face charges ofillegally selling state gifts

 

Pakistani police officers stormed the home of former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday as he was travelling to the capital, Islamabad, to appear in court in a corruption case. The raid became violent as law enforcement clashed with Khan’s supporters.

 

Footage shared on social media shows officers breaking the main gate at the ex-PM’s residence in Lahore. A video published by Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party on Twitter appears to show police brutally beating supporters with sticks and batons.

 

Pakistani officials say 30 people were arrested during the raid, as they moved to clear a blockade set up by Khan’s supporters near his house. The officer in charge of the operation claimed that activists had resisted by throwing stones and Molotov cocktails.

 

“Punjab police have led an assault on my house in Zaman Park where Bushra Begum is alone. Under what law are they doing this?” Khan tweeted, referring to his wife, who was in the home at the time.

 

He also claimed that the raid was not to ensure that he would appear in court, “but was intended to take me away to prison so thatI am unable to lead our election campaign.”

It’s apparent that Bloomberg knew about this then-still-sealed indictment before DOJ released it to the public. Micheal Bloomberg praised Wang Qishan, Vice President of China and the first CCP official publicly exposed by Mr. Guo in 2017, as the most powerful man in the world. With a background like this, it’s unsurprising that the outlet was tipped off in advance about the CCP’s latest attempt to take down Guo – with the help of traitors inside the DOJ.

 

Miles Guo himself, the “enemy No.1” of the CCP, had also expected for months his own arrest.

 

When the CCP-infiltrated DOJ manipulated Mr. Guo’s bankruptcy proceeding and installed Luc Despins as the DOJ-appointed Trustee, Despins used this opportunity to attempt to extort $250 million from Mr. Guo, threatening to send Miles to jail using his connections at the “DOJ, SEC, IRS, and the Court System”. A partner at Paul Hastings LLP, Despins is an exposed CCP proxy whose law firm is blessed with billions of dollars annually representing CCP State Owned Enterprises. This is the collusion, happening right in front of our eyes: a conspiracy by traitors inside our federal government working with Wall Street billionaires and the CCP to take out their most feared man: Miles Guo, who gave up his family’s security and billions of dollars in assets in China only to dedicate his entire life to the eradication of the CCP.

 

They hate Miles Guo for the same reason they hate President Trump, General Michael Flynn, the J6 political prisoners, and other patriots; they hate us because we want to be free.

 

The DOJ has an ugly history of being infiltrated and weaponized by the CCP – specifically against Mr. Guo. In 2017, George Higginbotham, then Senior Congressional Affairs Specialist at the DOJ, traveled to Shenzhen, China to secretly meet with Sun Lijun, Vice Minister of Public Security, to plot a scheme to force Mr. Guo’s return to China. Higginbotham also walked into the Chinese Embassy in D.C. to meet with Ambassador Cui Tiankai in advancement of the same scheme. That same year in 2017, Minister Sun and several other high-ranking CCP officials also traveled to the U.S. to try to illegally remove Mr. Guo from American soil.

 

But Sun and Higginbotham are simply pawns of someone much more powerful: when President Xi met with President Trump in 2017, Xi personally requested Mr. Guo’s return to China, even offering a new assistance package to North Korea in exchange.

 

In the six years following 2017, the CCP has infiltrated law firms, attorneys, and judges involved in the regime’s unrestricted lawfare against Guo, hacking the computers of the law firm preparing Guo’s political asylum application and compromising judges and lawyers, including Barry Ostrager and Luc Despins. Given the DOJ’s own infiltration and the CCP’s relentless attacks, the public ought to ask: what is the extent of the DOJ’s collaboration with the Chinese government in Mr. Guo’s prosecution? Without a doubt, the malicious prosecution of Miles Guo by the Southern District of New York and the SEC sparked more controversy about the DOJ’s own infiltration by the CCP than the merits of the baseless allegations. Working in any capacity with the Chinese Government regarding Mr. Guo’s case would be the modern equivalent of the U.S Government working with the Nazis to persecute Jewish Americans during WWII.

 

Furthermore, the circumstances surrounding Mr. Guo’s arrest at 6:33 AM on March 15th couldn’t be more suspicious: hours after Mr. Guo’s arrest at around noon, when no one but FBI agents were inside Mr. Guo’s 18th-floor residence, a fire of still yet unknown origin broke out and caused severe damage to the property. The several dozen FBI agents on site apparently had no clue what went on, even though it happened right under their noses. The FBI agents might have insensitive noses, but this incident stinks of the agency’s fishiness from a mile away. Perhaps they found information inside the apartment that are detrimental to the CCP, so they let it disappear out of convenience?

 

Whatever the true intent, one thing is clear: a well-maintained luxury residence at the heart of New York does not lit itself on fire. Yet, with the agency announcing its own investigation into the fire, we will probably never get to know the truth. The CCP is the number one threat to U.S. national security – and they are being helped from within by traitors inside our own government.

US conducts counter-terrorism drills in West Africa

The American instructors made clear their preference that countries in the region not rely on non-Western powers

 

A two-week US-led counter-terrorism exercise that assembled over 400 soldiers from across West Africa with the aim of combatting extremist violence in the region has concluded in Ghana. According to the US military trainers overseeing the drills, the platform was also used to press nations in the region to rely on each other rather than on non-Western powers.

 

Military personnel from Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Nigeria took part in the exercises, dubbed ‘Flintlock’, which wrapped up on March 15. During the maritime and cross-border drills, soldiers learned, among other things, how to use motorcycles to counter jihadist insurgent attacks.

 

“You have governments with so many problems that they begin reaching out to other malign actors who are perhaps more exploitive of the resources in those countries,” Colonel Robert Zyla of the US Special Operations Command Africa told Reuters.

 

This comes amid growing anti-French sentiment in Mali and Burkina Faso, where demands have been made for the complete withdrawal of French military forces as the influence of former colonial powers wanes.

 

Meanwhile, concerns are growing in the West about Russia’s growing influence in Africa, particularly its military ties with Burkina Faso and Mali, as the Sahel region struggles to control the rising security threats posed by Jihadist groups, which have claimed thousands of lives and displaced millions.

 

French PresidentEmmanuel Macron has accused Russia of having a “predatory”influence in African nations.

 

“You only have to look at what’s going on in the Central African Republic or elsewhere to see that the Russian project under way there, when France is pushed aside, is a project of predation,” Macron said last year.

 

Meanwhile, despite Western criticism, junta-ruled Burkina Faso and Mali continue to strengthen diplomatic ties with Russia, with the former French colonies receiving donations of Soviet-era military equipment from Moscow.

it used to make the bakers get livid at the poster, so much so that it was rare that it would ever be seen, back in the day when they all seemed to be from overseas.

Former President Donald Trump said Saturday he expects to be arrested in connection with the investigation by the Manhattan district attorney next week and called for protests as New York law enforcement prepares for a possible indictment.

 

In a social media post, Trump, referring to himself, said the “leading Republican candidate and former president of the United States will be arrested on Tuesday of next week.”

 

“Protest, take our nation back,” he wrote.

What to know about NY prosecutors' probe into Trump's role in hush money scheme

 

CNN’s John Miller reported that meetings have been going on throughout the week among city, state and federal law enforcement agencies in New York City about how to prepare for a possible indictment of Trump in connection with a yearslong investigation into a hush money scheme involving adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

 

Any indictment of the former president, who is running for reelection in 2024, would mark a historic first and quickly change the political conversation around an already divisive figure. While Trump has an extensive history of civil litigation both before and after taking office, a criminal charge would represent a dramatic escalation of his legal woes as he works to recapture the White House.

 

Trump did not say why he expects to be arrested. The former president has been agitating for his team to get his base riled up and believes that an indictment would help him politically, multiple people briefed on the matter told CNN.

 

Another witness is expected to testify Monday before the grand jury investigating the hush money payments, according to a source familiar with the investigation. It is not clear whether this would be the final witness before it votes on a possible indictment.

 

His legal team has been anticipating that an indictment will happen soon and has been preparing behind the scenes for the next steps.

 

A spokesperson for Trump said Saturday that the former president has not received a notification from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office regarding any potential indictment, but was “rightfully highlighting his innocence” in his post.

 

Previewing a potential line of defense from Republicans on Capitol Hill, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, a California Republican, tweeted Saturday that any potential indictment of the former president would represent “an outrageous abuse of power” from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

 

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office declined to comment on Saturday.

Protest call reminiscent of January 6 comments

 

Trump has complained privately that he believes he is going to being indicted only because he thinks Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg “hates him,” according to a source familiar with what Trump has said.

 

His call for a protest in response to a potential arrest echoes his final days in office, when he repeatedly urged his supporters to reject the results of the 2020 presidential election, culminating in the deadly January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol.

 

Some of Trump’s advisers had urged him privately not to call for protests, concerned about the optics of a mass protest in the streets of Manhattan growing out of control or resembling the 2021 insurrection.

Trump’s team has said repeatedly that he will not accept an invitation to testify before the grand jury. But multiple sources familiar with his legal team’s thinking says that if there is an indictment, he would negotiate an agreed upon surrender date with the district attorney’s office.

Trump’s team has been huddled all week planning for various scenarios, including Trump traveling to New York as well as having a remote hearing where he stays at Mar-a-Lago, according to sources familiar with the meetings.

 

Some members of his legal team are advising Trump to ask for a remote appearance for security reasons should an indictment occur but it is unclear if he would agree to that as he has also discussed with his team wanting to give a statement at the courthouse, sources said.

Trump is also considering hiring a new TV-friendly lawyer who can handle the outside media, sources said. The former president is known for hiring lawyers and advisers based on their TV presence and ability to defend him in the media.

 

Two lawyers currently involved in the Justice Department’s investigations around the former president, Jim Trusty and Christina Bobb, were brought into Trump’s fold after he saw them on television.

The campaign is also adding staff to focus on messaging around the potential indictment, a detail first reported by The New York Times.

Law enforcement talks continue

 

Law enforcement discussions have been about how to navigate the potential indictment for a criminal charge by a New York county grand jury and the choreography around the possibility of an unprecedented arrest of a former president. The New York Police Department did not immediately respond to CNN’s inquiry following Trump’s posts on Saturday.

 

Trump’s US Secret Service detail would deliver him to the Manhattan district attorney’s Office for fingerprinting and then taking mugshots in offices of the district attorney’s detective squad. As is customary in cases where a defendant is allowed to voluntarily surrender, after arrest processing, the former president would be brought directly to an arraignment before a judge where he would likely be released on his own recognizance.

City, state and federal law enforcement agencies meet about how to prep for possible Trump indictment

 

Law enforcement officials who are privy to the discussions said several concerns have been discussed in the planning process, including courthouse security and the potential for demonstrations or rallies outside of the courthouse by Trump supporters or counter demonstrations by anti-Trump protesters, with the risk of the two groups clashing.
