Turkish man knocked down basement wall to find 2,000-year-old underground city — after chasing his chickens through a hole

A Turkish homeowner chasing his chickens through a hole in his basement during renovations came across an abandoned underground Turkish city that once housed 20,000 people.

In an effort to recapture his escaping poultry, theunidentified man knocked down the wall in the 1960sto reveal a dark tunnel leading to the ancient city of Elengubu, known today as Derinkuyu.

Derinkuyu, burrowed more than 280 feet beneath the Central Anatolian region of Cappadocia, is the largest excavated underground city in the world and is believed toconnect to more than 200 smaller, separate underground citiesthat were discovered in recent decades, Turkish guides told the BBC.

Inside the subterranean city — whose entrances connect tomore than 600 private homesin the modern, surface-level region of Cappadocia —researchers found 18 levels of tunnels containing dwellings, dry food storage, cattle stables, schools, wineries, and even a chapel.

The city was also equipped with aventilation systemthat supplied its residents with fresh air and water. “Life underground was probably very difficult,” the guide, identified as Suleman, told the outlet. “Theresidents relieved themselves in sealed clay jars, lived by torchlight, and disposed of dead bodies in [designated] areas.”

The exact date the impressive city was built remains contested, but ancient writingsdating back to 370 BCindicate Derinkuyu was in existence.

The city was likely originally used to store goods but was thenused as a bunker to escape from foreign invaders— the dimly lit hallways were intentionally built narrow and low so intruders would be forced to stoop and enter in single file.

The doors connecting each level wereblocked by half-ton bouldersonly moveable from the inside that contained a small hole that allowed residents to spear the confined trespassers.

Though it remains a mystery who the architects were, researchers believe theHittites — a Bronze Age Anatolian people— “may have excavated the first few levels in the rock when they came under attack from the Phrygians around 1200 BCE,” A. Bertini, an expert in Mediterranean cave dwellings, wrote in his 2010 essay on regional cave architecture.

The Phrygian invaders, an Indo-European-speaking empire that ruled Anatolia for 600 years, are credited with building the bulk of the city in the centuries before Derinkuyu changed hands several more times, including between the Persians, Christians and Cappadocian Greeks.

The city likely reached its peak population of 20,000 during the 7th-century Islamic raids on the Christian Byzantine Empire, the BBC reported. After 2,000 years of use, Derinkuyu was finally abandoned in 1923 by the Cappadocian Greeks, who faced defeat in the Greco-Turkish war and escaped to Greece.

One century after it was rediscovered, the ancient city is open to visitors curious to experience life underground in Derinkuyu, which was added to the Unesco World Heritage list in 1985.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The lawyer for former U.S. national security adviser Michael Flynn on Friday labeled as “outrageous” and “false” media reports suggesting his client may have been involved in an alleged plan to seize a Muslim cleric and deliver him to Turkey in exchange for millions of dollars.

The rare statement from lawyer Robert Kelner came after the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was investigating an alleged proposal under which Flynn and his son would receive up to $15 million for seizing Fethullah Gulen from his U.S. home and delivering him to the Turkish government.

The Journal cited people familiar with the investigation.

NBC also reported on Friday about an alleged December 2016 meeting, saying Mueller’s team was investigating whether Flynn met with senior Turkish officials in the weeks before President Donald Trump’s January 2017 inauguration about a possible quid pro quo in which Flynn would be paid to do the bidding of Turkey’s government while in office. NBC cited multiple people familiar with the probe.

“Out of respect for the process of the various investigations regarding the 2016 campaign, we have intentionally avoided responding to every rumor or allegation raised in the media,” Kelner said in an emailed statement.

“But today’s news cycle has brought allegations about General Flynn, ranging from kidnapping to bribery, that are so outrageous and prejudicial that we are making an exception to our usual rule: they are false.”

The Wall Street journal reported that the alleged plan involving Flynn and Turkish officials emerged during Mueller’s wider investigation of possible Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and any collusion by the Trump campaign.

Flynn was fired by Trump after just 24 days in the job for misleading Vice President Mike Pence about the extent of his conversations with then Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak last year.

Barry Coburn, a lawyer for Flynn’s son, Michael Flynn Jr., declined to comment.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan accuses Gulen of instigating a failed coup in July 2016 and wants him extradited to Turkey to face trial. Gulen has denied any role in the coup.

A spokesman for Mueller’s team declined to comment on the report on Friday.

Flynn is a central figure in Mueller’s investigation because of conversations he had with Kislyak and because he waited until March to retroactively register with the Justice Department as a foreign agent for work he did for a Turkish businessman.

The Journal reported that FBI agents asked at least four people about a December meeting in New York where Flynn and Turkish government representatives discussed removing Gulen, citing people with knowledge of the FBI’s inquiries.

NBC also reported that investigators had questioned witnesses about an alleged December meeting between Flynn and Turkish officials where Gulen was discussed. The group also discussed how to set free a Turkish-Iranian gold trader, Reza Zarrab. Zarrab is in prison in the United States on federal charges that he helped Iran skirt U.S. sanctions, NBC said.

A Reuters report on Oct. 26 said one of Flynn’s business associates, former CIA Director James Woolsey, pitched a $10 million contract to two Turkish businessmen to help discredit Gulen while Woolsey was an adviser to Trump’s election campaign.

Woolsey was a member of Flynn’s firm, the Flynn Intel Group, according to a Justice Department filing by the firm and an archive of the company’s website.

Mueller’s team has also interviewed White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller, the highest-level Trump aide known to have spoken with investigators, CNN reported on Thursday.

On 19 March 2016, Zarrab was arrested in Miami, Florida, for conspiring to evade U.S. sanctions against Iran (by using his gold business to help Iran's government evade the sanctions),[8] money laundering and bank fraud. He was later indicted by a grand jury with charges that could bring up to 75 years in prison.[1][38] The case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, led by Preet Bharara,[8] with assistance from a trial attorney of the National Security Division's Counterintelligence and Export Control Section.[1]

During the case, prosecutors have noted that Zarrab donated $4.5 million to a charity founded by Emine Erdoğan, the wife of former prime minister and now president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.[8] Prosecutors stated that Zarrab has "close ties" to Erdoğan.[39]

After Zarrab's arrest, shares in Halkbank, whose CEO was among those charged with taking bribes from Zarrab, had fallen by 20%.[8] He has offered to pay $50 million to be granted a bail.[8] Bail has been denied.[6] In their brief against granting bail, prosecutors had argued that "if the defendant were able to reach Turkish soil, he could cause the highest levels of Turkish government to block his return to the United States."[8]

In April 2017, media reported that negotiations involving the U.S. and Turkish governments were undergoing, to the effect that Zarrab would be extradited to Turkey while in return "Turkey would be much less resistant to the US’s missions in Syria, and primarily its support to the Democratic Union Party (PYD)."[40]

One of the most striking arguments in the indictment about Zarrab was that the Zarrab family sent a letter addressed to the president of Iran's Central Bank and stated that he was ready for "Economic Jihad" against sanctions on Iran.[41]

Erdoğan's first comment on Zarrab's arrest by the United States government was: "it was not a case that interests Turkey".[42] However, it is claimed that Erdoğan, on 21 September 2016 during a special meeting with then Vice President Joe Biden, requested Zarrab's release from jail and prosecutor Bharara to be dismissed from his position. Also, it is claimed that Erdogan's wife, Emine Erdogan, made a similar request to Biden's wife, Jill Biden. Furthermore, Bekir Bozdag, the Turkish Minister of Justice, visited the United States Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch in October 2016 and stated how the Zarrab case was unfounded and that Zarrab should be released[43][44]

In February 2017, Erdoğan agreed to a secret meeting with Zarrab's attorneys, Rudy Giuliani and former Attorney General Michael Mukasey.[45]

Halkbank Deputy Chief Executive Mehmet Hakan Atilla, who was in connection with Zarrab, was arrested in the United States in March 2017 with the charges of "conspiring to evade US sanctions against Iran and other offenses".[46] Afterwards, it was announced in September 2017 that the US charged then Turkish Minister of Economic Affairs Zafer Caglayan and former General Manager of Halk Bank Suleyman Aslan with offenses similar to Zarrab's.[47][48]

Erdoğan appeared to be involved in the allegations about the US investigation. It was claimed that Erdogan's effort to save Zarrab was the fear that the inquiry had reached him.[49] It is also alleged that Erdoğan wanted the US to release Zarrab in return for the detained US citizen pastor Andrew Brunson being held in a prison in Turkey.[50]

Metin Topuz, a Turkish employee of the US Consulate General in Istanbul, was arrested on 4 October 2017 for espionage, being a member of crime network, and taking the evidences of the 2013 corruption investigation to the US. In the arrest warrant, it is emphasized that the main suspects of 17 December corruption investigation were "foreign intelligence agencies and countries."[51]

As a response to the arrest, the US Embassy in Turkey announced on 8 October 2017, that "visa applications from Turkey were suspended."[52]

On 16 November 2017, NBC News, reported that Zarrab is now cooperating with federal prosecutors in a money-laundering case and that he was then out of jail, a move President Erdoğan had been desperately hoping to avoid.[53] It is thought that Zarrab is Robert Mueller's key to taking down Michael T. Flynn in the 2017 Special Counsel investigation.[54][55]

A South Florida Republican congressman ripped Miami Mayor Francis Suarez’s nascent 2024 presidential bid Thursday, saying he is “not qualified to be anything.”

Rep. Carlos Giménez (R-Fla.), who spent nine years as mayor of Miami-Dade County and whose House district includes the city’s outer southwestern suburbs, told “Fox & Friends First”he considered Suarez a “fraud” who lacks leadership skills.

“I don’t think that he’s qualified to be president of the United States in any way, shape, or form,” Giménez said. “He’s not qualified to be VP, he’s not qualified to be anything.”

Suarez, 45, filed paperwork to run for president Wednesday and publicly announced his candidacy Thursday. Giménez has endorsed former President Donald Trump in the Republican primary

“He hasn’t demonstrated the abilityto lead any large organization,” Giménez said of Suarez. “He’s aceremonial mayorof the City of Miami. He has very little power, he got elected by a total of 20,000 people.”

“He does have the gift of gab, trying to fool people into thinking that he’s the big city mayor,” the congressman added. “But the big city mayor is actually the mayor of Miami-Dade County.” The city of Miami has a population of about 449,000 people, while Miami-Dade County has a population of 2.7 million, according to the census.

Suarez, the son of Miami’s first Cuban-born mayor, has been in office since 2017.He is reportedly entangled in a federal investigationpertaining to payments directed at him from Miami real estate developer Rishi Kapoor’s subsidiary company Location Ventures.

The inquiry revolves around whether those payments,roughly $10,000 a month and up to $170,000 total, were made in exchange for favors and approvals related to a $70 million Coconut Grove development project, the Miami Herald reported.

Suarez, who also works as a private real estate attorney, and Kapoor have both denied wrongdoing.

Suarez is now the third Florida Republican to enter the 2024 primary contest alongside Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis.

“What people want is someone to bring them together,” Suarez told ABC News. “This isn’t about me. This isn’t about my generation. This is about our children.”

Despite his Republican affiliation,Suarez voted for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Democrat Andrew Gillum in the 2018Florida gubernatorial election. (yeah and Kellyanne is recommending him, "how much money did he promise her?")

Suarez has earned high praise from Trumpworld luminary Kellyanne Conway, the former president’s 2016 campaign manager. (This women should never be listened too, they guy is under investigation for shady deals, WTF, she’s trying to shackle Trump with another tool of RINOS)

“I’ve not been shy about telling President Trump that Suarez should be on the short list for VP should Trump be the nominee,” Conway told Politico last month.(President Trump never listen to Kellyanne, she’s nuts!)

Suarez is slated to deliver a speech at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation on Thursday evening laying out his campaign platform. A Suarez rep did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

One of the ‘FedEx’ vans smugglers had decorated to look like the real thing then used to transport illegals into the country.

Smugglers used “cloned” FedEx vehicles in an attempt to bring 26 illegal migrants into El Paso, Texas, US Customs and Border Protection officials said.

The Border Patrol’s Santa Teresa Station Anti-Smuggling Unit received a tip about the plan, with agents and state troopers stopping vehicles, two of which were outfitted to look exactly like typical white FedEx vans.

Officials arrested four smugglers involved in the scheme, as well as apprehending the 26 migrants, who were from Mexico and Guatemala, on June 8.

Border Patrol sources told The Post there is a FedEx facility very close to the border in Santa Teresa, New Mexico — which is part of the El Paso sector and a known pick up area for smugglers and migrants.

“We joked that they [smugglers] were either going to pay a FedEx driver to smuggle migrants or that they were going to clone a truck,” one agent said.

Border Patrol agent Sean Coffey said the tactic isn’t new, but hasn’t been used in recent years.

“We haven’t seen a FedEx vehicle in some time,” he told KTSM. “We do see other types of vehicles used, like construction vehicles, vehicles that they put a sticker on [so] that [it] looks like a company vehicle.”

Coffey condemned the smuggling scheme as a great danger to the lives of the migrants, following recent tragedies where dozens of people have died in the back of poorly ventilated trucks trying to sneak past the border.

“The insides of some of these vehicles can become extremely hot, especially with the large amount of people that are trying to put inside of them,” he said.

Last week, officials rescued 35 migrants from a trailer in Anthony, New Mexico, and last year saw 53 die inside a truck after they were abandoned by smugglers in San Antonio, Texas.

Coffey added the renewed FedEx tactic is likely a result of emboldened smugglers looking to provide migrants with a solution to entering the US, after the end of Title 42.

It comes as the Post has reported cartel-linked smugglers have started create and market their services via well-produced YouTube and Tik Tok videos boasting of their prowess at getting people over the border undetected.

It appears they are succeeding too, as in May Us Border Patrol admitted 530,000 ‘gotaways’ — illegal immigrants known to have entered the country but not been caught — have been recorded since last October.

On June 12, border chief Raoul Ortiz posted an estimated 2,493 gotaways had made their way into the country in the previous three days.

The number of people attempting to enter the country illegally has increased since May 11, when the administration made it harder for migrants to be officially admitted to the US following the end of the pandemic-era Title 42 measure.

Citing intense media/public interests, the Special Counsel's Office wanted to keep the indictment sealed and asked the judge to issue a judicial summons to Trump and Nauta for Tuesday, June 13th, at which time they would unseal the indictment.

They, DOJ/SCO, wanted to delay public disclosure of the indictment.

The judge agrees and ORDERS it all sealed until next Tuesday.

So what does Trump do?

He seizes control of the narrative and tells the whole world that he has been indicted, hahaha!

Which causes the Special Counsel to then ask the judge to unseal the indictment, because, well, it's now pointless to keep it sealed.

Judge agrees and unseals it.

Trump's lawyers tell media they received a summons, but have not received an indictment.

He always knows.

WASHINGTON — President Biden lashed out Thursday when asked why he’s called the “big guy” in an FBI informant file accusing him of accepting a $5 million bribe from a Ukrainian businessman while vice president.

“Why did the Ukraine FBI informant file refer to you as the ‘big guy’, President Biden?Why is that term continuously applied?” The Post asked Biden at an event focused on reducing corporate junk fees.

“Why do you ask such a dumb question?” the 80-year-old president snapped.

Biden was referred to as the “big guy” in the June 2020 informant file, months before The Post reported that first son Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop contained a May 2017 email that said the “big guy” was due a 10% cut in a business deal with CEFC China Energy.

Two Hunter Biden business partners in the CEFC deal — Tony Bobulinski and James Gilliar — have separately identified Joe Biden as the “big guy.” Hunter and James Biden received $4.8 million from the CEFC partnership, according to a Washington Post review of laptop documents.

The alleged Ukraine bribe deals with the gas company Burisma Holdings, according to members of Congress who read the file.

The firm hired Hunter Biden to join its board in April 2014 as then-Vice President Biden took over the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy. The then-second son was paid up to $1 million per year despite no relevant industry experience.

The informant file alleges that Joe and Hunter Biden were each paid $5 million to assist the interests of Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky, according to lawmakers who read it.

Biden attempted to laugh off the bribery allegation last week. “Where’s the money?” Biden told The Post at the time, adding: “I’m joking. It’s a bunch of malarkey.”

House Republicans who read the informant file said last week said that it describes how the elder Biden allegedly pushed for the ouster of Ukrainian prosecutor-general Viktor Shokin, who was fired in 2016, in return for payment. The informant file also makes reference to Burisma seeking to partner with or buy a US energy business, the lawmakers said.

The House Oversight Committee has led efforts to determine Joe Biden’s role in his family’s overseas dealings and recently identified nine relatives who allegedly received foreign income.

Former White House stenographer Mike McCormick says Joe Biden pushed US support for Ukraine’s natural gas industry during a trip to Kyiv just days after Hunter quietly joined Burisma.

House Democrats impeached then-President Donald Trump in 2019 for pressuring Ukraine to investigate the Biden family and argued at the time that US allies also wanted Shokin to lose his job over his own corruption.

Hunter Biden has been under investigation for about five years by the US attorney’s office in Delaware for tax fraud, illegal foreign lobbying, money laundering and lying about his drug use on a gun-purchase form.

The House Oversight Committee has led efforts to determine Joe Biden’s role in his family’s overseas dealings and recently identified nine relatives who allegedly received foreign income from shady figures in China and Romania.

Two IRS whistleblowers recently testified to the House Ways and Means Committee to outline an alleged coverup in the Hunter Biden case, including “preferential treatment” and alleged false testimony to Congress by Attorney General Merrick Garland about Delaware US Attorney David Weiss’s ability to independently bring charges.

Hunter wrote in emails retrieved from his laptop that he had to give “half” of his income to his father.

Astronaut Chris Hadfield wants to protect the moon with an 'Astra Carta'

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield is designing a new "Astra Carta" with British royalty to protect the moon, according to media reports.

Chris Hadfield has partnered with King Charles III on a space sustainability plan that will be released on June 28 in London, according to the Canadian Press. (It's called the Astra Carta in a nod to the Magna Carta, the famous English legislation from 1215 underpinning world democracies.)

The new moon plan would answer several crucial questions, Hadfield said in the report, including "What would we do with it? Who would own it? Whose laws? Who can drill and who can take advantage of the short-term and long-term resources that exist there?"

The proposal has special relevance in Canada given that Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen will fly around the moon, along with the rest of the Artemis 2 crew, in November 2024 or so. The CSA (through the company MDA) also will supply the robotic Canadarm3 for NASA's planned Gateway space station orbiting the moon.

Hadfield received his country's top honor, the Order of Canada, following his third and final mission to space in 2012-2013. He commanded the International Space Station and captured the world's attention on early social media, including playing a version of David Bowie's famous "Space Oddity" in orbit.

The retired astronaut, doing a brief interview on the sidelines of a conference in Toronto, did not elaborate on how the Astra Carta would meld with existing space treaties by the United Nations (UN) Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.

For example, the UN's Outer Space Treaty of 1967 concerns signatory nations' overall space behavior, while the 1978 Moon Treaty discusses appropriate ways to explore the moon peacefully.

Hadfield has been working with Charles III on the space sustainability plan since last summer, the report said. Hadfield and His Majesty's first public meeting on the matter was in February 2023, about five months after Charles III became king following the death of his mother, Elizabeth II. (Incidentally, moon astronaut Hansen also carried the flag of Canada during Charles III's coronation May 6.)

When not occupied with royal affairs, Charles III is known for his environmental concerns and charity support. And one environmental concern has become more and more of an issue in the space community lately — the increasing number of satellite launches.

Increased space activity, though valuable economically, creates problems such as carbon dioxide emissions, congestion in space that increases the risk of satellite collisions and satellite streaks marring telescope images.

The Canadian Press report did not elaborate on why June 28 is the selected release date for Astra Carta. The 808th anniversary of Magna Carta's first iteration is two weeks earlier, on June 15.

The Magna Carta was issued by King John of England in 1215 in response to "specific grievances" about his rule by local nobles, according to the British Library. But John likely sent an envoy to Pope Innocent III in Rome around the same time, asking to annul the legislation. News of the successful annulment reached the king just two months later, a remarkably quick turnaround given the distances involved.

That said, Henry III reissued Magna Carta in 1217 amid a civil war, and the final version was released in 1225. It was only in later centuries that the Magna Carta's democratic principles — such as the right to a fair trial — were cited as fundamental to human rights. Examples include the United States Bill of Rights (1791), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and the European Convention on Human Rights (1950).

Expedition 69 Flight Engineers Woody Hoburg and Steve Bowen of NASA concluded their spacewalk at 2:17 p.m. EDT after 5 hours and 35 minutes.

Hoburg and Bowen completed their major objective to install an IROSA (International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Array) to augment power generation for the 1B power channel on the station’s starboard truss structure.

The new array is 60 feet long by 20 feet wide (18.2 meters by 6 meters) and is shading a little more than half of the original array, which is 112 feet long by 39 feet wide. Each new IROSA produces more than 20 kilowatts of electricity and together enable a 30% increase in power production over the station’s current arrays.

NASA and Boeing have a plan in place for a fourth set of roll-out arrays to further augment the International Space Station’s power supply. These arrays, which would be the seventh and eighth installed on space station, are targeted for delivery to the orbital outpost in 2025.

It was the 265th spacewalk in support of space station assembly, upgrades, and maintenance. The spacewalk marked the second for Hoburg and tenth for Bowen, tying him for the most spacewalks by a U.S. astronaut along with Mike Lopez-Alegria, Bob Behnken, Peggy Whitson, and Chris Cassidy.

Wednesday morning at 7:30 twenty IRS agents showed up at the Highwood Creek gun shop telling the owner of the store that he was under investigation for criminally hiding money. That's what store owner Tom VanHoose told us in an exclusive interview. The gun shop owner says the IRS agents were either carrying handguns or AR-15 rifles, "they're what the libtards call assault rifles," he said. VanHoose believes the 20 agents with guns was an attempt to intimidate.

In all, the agents spent ten hours at the gun shop going through computer records and paper records looking for evidence that might show VanHoose has been hiding money (income) from the IRS. He said the agents were nice but that "still doesn't mean that I didn't feel like I was raped by our government, because I do."

VanHoose says this is not the first time the feds have poked around his business. He says an FBI agent was outside his building a while back taking pictures of his business. He says Homeland security has also been poking around. The gun shop owner feels he may have been targeted because of the type of guns he sells and the fact that he sell silencers.

What about a search warrant? Vanhoose says they would only show him the front page of the search warrant and not the other pages that spelled out exactly what they were looking for. VanHoose says the IRS agents were from Denver, Missoula, Billings and Helena.

We also talked to Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter to ask him about comments from the public yesterday that said he was suppose to be notified ahead of time about the IRS raid. He said there is no law that says he has to be notified. Efforts were made last legislative session to pass such a law but it failed in the house. Slaughter says one of the reasons the public might want him notified is because he is the top elected officer in the county. Great Falls Police were the only ones notified prior to the raid. The sheriff was notified after the raid began.

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason,Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

While judicial precedents inform the effective substantive meaning of various provisions of the Constitution, impeachment is at bottom a unique political process largely unchecked by the judiciary. While the meaning of treason and bribery is relatively clear, the scope of high crimes and misdemeanors lacks a formal definition and has been fleshed out over time, in a manner perhaps analogous to the common law, through the practice of impeachments in the United States Congress.6 The type of behavior that qualifies as impeachable conduct, and the circumstances in which impeachment is an appropriate remedy for such actions, are thus determined by, among other things, competing political interests, changing institutional relationships among the three branches of government, and legislators' interaction with and accountability to the public.7 The weight of historical practice, rather than judicial precedent, is thus central to understanding the nature of impeachment in the United States.

Planned Parenthood CEOs among the highest-paid in nonprofit sector while abortion giant collected $1.9 billion in gov't grants, reimbursements: Report

A recently released report from a Planned Parenthood watchdog group revealed that the abortion chain's CEOs are among the highest-paid in the country's nonprofit sector.

Catholic pro-life organization American Life League's STOPP International is dedicated to exposing the "true nature of Planned Parenthood" by documenting "its anti-life, anti-family programs," according to its website.

On Wednesday, the watchdog published the "2023 Report on Planned Parenthood CEO Compensation," which examined executives' salaries within the organization and its affiliates.

The report, completed in March 2023, was based on the abortion provider's latest available financial data from the fiscal year ending in 2020 and some reporting from the fiscal years ending in 2019 and 2021.

"Planned Parenthood continues, year after year, to dramatically increase the salaries of its affiliate corporation CEOs and its New York headquarters staff while continually crying poverty and seeking and receiving more and more taxpayer money," the report stated.

STOPP International found that the average CEO compensation within the nonprofit organization was $317,564. According to Salary.com, the average salary for nonprofit executives in the United States is $184,809.

Planned Parenthood CEOs saw a 33.4% pay increase from 2015 to 2020, while the average American worker received a 15.6% increase over that same period, the report said.

American Life League's director of communication, Katie Brown, told Fox News Digital that in 2020, the nonprofit received $670.4 million in taxpayer dollars while it dished out $16.9 million to cover executives' salaries.

Despite Planned Parenthood being an outspoken advocate of equity initiatives, its top earner was a white female, and its second- and third-highest earners were white men, the report noted.

"Of the 53 Planned Parenthood CEOs at the affiliate level, only four were black. The lowest paid CEO was a black woman," it stated.

The report found that only seven of the organization's CEOs could be identified as people of color.

Brown said, "It's disingenuous that in Planned Parenthood's most recent annual report they claim to be committed to breaking down 'barriers of structural racism that block access to care,' when they so obviously haven't done so in their own organization."

"If there's one thing that this report makes clear, it is proof that at Planned Parenthood, the rich get richer while the poor get abortions," she added.

The STOPP International report also found that Planned Parenthood raked in $5.2 billion over the past three years, with $1.9 billion collected from government health services grants and reimbursements.

"Taxpayers have every reason to decry the billions of dollars of taxpayer money being funneled into the nation's largest abortion chain, and the number one reason is the slaughter by Planned Parenthood of 1,112,486 innocent babies during the same three-year period," the report stated.

American Life League called on Congress to "remove Planned Parenthood's 'charitable organization' status."

Planned Parenthood did not respond to a request for comment, Fox News Digital reported.

Several U.S. agencies have been hacked as part of a broader cyberattack that has hit dozens of companies and organizations in recent weeks through a previously unknown vulnerability in popular file sharing software.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the country’s top civilian cybersecurity watchdog, said Thursday that it is still investigating the scope of the hacks, according to Eric Goldstein, its executive assistant director.

“CISA is providing support toseveral federal agencies that have experienced intrusions,” he said. “We are working urgently to understand impacts and ensure timely remediation.”

The hackers exploited avulnerability in a program called MOVEIt, a popular tool for quickly transferring files.

Charles Carmakal, chief technology officer of Mandiant, a cybersecurity company owned by Google whose clients include government agencies, said that he was aware of some data theft from federal agencies through the MOVEIt hacks.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the stolen files were sensitive or if the hackers had disrupted government systems. CNN first reported on CISA's statement.

The incident marks the third known instance in as many years thatforeign hackers have been able to break into multiple federal agencies and steal information. In 2020, hackers working for Russian intelligence broke into nine agencies by first hacking into software they used that was developed by a Texas company called SolarWinds. The following year, Chinese intelligence hackers broke into additional agencies through a remote work program called Pulse Secure.

In an interview with NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell on Thursday, CISA Director Jen Easterly said the agency was tracking the hackers “as a well-known ransomware group.”

That appeared to be a reference to an establishedcybercriminal group called CL0P.

Last week, CISA and the FBI issued a warning that CL0P was exploiting a previously unknown vulnerability in MOVEIt. In a rapid hacking spree, the group used that flaw to steal files from at least 47 organizations and demand payment to not publish them online, said Brett Callow, an analyst at the cybersecurity company Emsisoft.

CL0P is a primarily Russian-speaking cybercrime gang, said Allan Liska, a ransomware expert at the cybersecurity company Recorded Future.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence declined to comment. The National Security Council didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Wendi Whitmore, who leads threat analysis for the cybersecurity company Palo Alto Networks, said that CL0P’s campaign of hacking victims through MOVEIt was incredibly widespread.

“I think it’s at least hundreds, if not more,” of total victims, she said.

Note that freedom is one of humanity's needs, so we are not advocating for an all-controlling government here. Instead what we think would be one great step is publicly releasing technology that makes people's lives better, such as free energy technology. A proposal for this was outlined in Tunia's message: "Let's Free Earth." Also, the Gray Hats already have this technology and they could just release it publicly, today if they chose to do so.

However, this is not the path that the Gray Hats have chosen. The path they have chosen is that they fight the dark controllers behind the scenes and when possible arrest their Earthling minions. The hope that these Gray Hats have is that when people suffer enough, they will wake up. However, from our point of view, when people suffer they become less loving and more selfish. This is the opposite of what we and what Source wants. Hence we think that the current strategy is counterproductive.

The subconscious shadow of the higher-up Gray Hats is also that they like having more power, more knowledge and more money than the average person. Plus in some cases they have a dark past and they understand that if everything were brought to light, their own past would be publicized too. Subconsciously these Gray Hats are less eager to move towards this love-based society than awake Earthlings would hope.

I do want to be fair to the Gray Hats: they are working hard, sometimes they are risking their lives and they have been and are making some progress against the dark controllers.

At the same time, they are sitting on a mountain of evidence. They could start public mass arrests tomorrow of the dark controllers today. Or they could publicly publish all their evidence, today, and hence empower the population to hold people accountable.

The Gray Hats would probably defend themselves by saying that the population needs to wake up and it's the fault of average citizens that this process is taking too long. From our point of view, by making people suffer you only narrow their perspective into a survival mode. If you want to wake people up, make sure their needs are met first.

Nicaragua rebuilds – five years after US-funded terror was defeated

Five years after the violent coup attempt in Nicaragua, the country is celebrating its recovery – peace has returned, the economy is growing, the Sandinista government re-elected in 2021 is investing strongly in public services.

But it’s important to remember what happened in 2018 and the enormous, deliberate damage that was done to the country. Nicaragua’s opposition, pushing for support in Washington, expects its horrendous acts to be forgotten.

This article describes in detail one of the many incidents of extreme violence. It occurred in Masaya, one of Nicaragua’s most important cities, the scene of many grisly crimes when it was controlled by opposition thugs for several weeks in 2018.

Masaya, Nicaragua – The story begins a month before the incident I’m about to describe. I live in the city, and I’d written in my diary that “Saturday, May 12th must be counted as the worst day in Masaya since the earthquake in 2000.”

During the previous night, opposition vandals had destroyed the house of the former deputy mayor, then went on to set fire to the town hall, an old colonial building that also housed Masaya’s Museum of the Heroes and Martyrs of the Revolution. Opposition roadblocks which had sprung up in Masaya’s streets in April had been cleared in early May, often by local people, but they were rebuilt, halting traffic across most of the city and putting the streets under opposition control. Despite this, corporate media and commentators in the US followed the local right-wing media in blaming the violent attacks on young Sandinistas or on the police rather than on the opposition mobs who were actually responsible.

Soon the opposition’s control of the city became total. During a “national dialogue” hosted by the Catholic church, the government offered to confine the police to their stations and order them not to return the opposition’s gunfire. In return, the opposition were to dismantle the roadblocks, but instead they augmented them. Many more buildings were burnt down, including the tourist market and the main secondary school serving over 3,000 pupils. Shops in the center of Masaya were looted and most closed for business.

By early June, one of the few important municipal buildings left untouched was the city’s plantel or depot, housing several offices and where all the council’s vehicles were kept together with most of its supplies, including a warehouse with materials for emergencies such as earthquakes.

The mayor, then in hiding, had ordered that the depot be guarded at all costs. But this became increasingly dangerous: workers were being attacked in the street on their way to and from work. So a dozen core security staff were asked to stay permanently – eating and sleeping on site. They were armed and able to protect themselves. Then a warning was received on June 12th that an attack was imminent: officials had to decide how to respond.

Police — NYC Mom Stabbed While Defending Toddler: ‘She Had a Knife to Her Head’

A woman carrying a knife is accused of targeting a mother who was with her child on Monday afternoon in Brooklyn, the incident happening as New Yorkers suffer under rampant crime.

The mother, who is 34-years-old, and her three-year-old daughter were near Jay Street and Tillary Street in the downtown area when the incident occurred, NBC New York reported Wednesday.

Police say the suspect, who was apparently wearing a blonde wig at the time, walked by and began arguing with the mother.

The moment she allegedly threatened to hurt the child the mother got between the woman and stroller to shield the girl from potentially being hurt.

The mother told Pix 11, “This crazy lady had come up to my daughter, said she was gonna kill her and she had a knife to her head.”

“I went to get the knife out of her hand and I had to take off her wig so I can be able to I.D. who she was,” the mom recalled.

The suspect then allegedly stabbed the mother several times in her chest and legs before fleeing the scene, per the NBC article.

The victim was eventually taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where she is recovering from the ordeal, and law enforcement noted the child was not injured during the altercation.

“Police said Lequasiah Lawrence, 25, was taken into custody on Wednesday for charges including felony assault and attempted murder,” the NBC article said.

In April, Breitbart News reported felony assaults are on the rise across Democrat-run New York City.

“Last year’s surge in felony assaults on New Yorkers is now continuing this year,” the outlet said, adding, “While murders, rapes, and grand larcenies dropped in January compared to the same time in 2022, felony assaults surged by 15 percent with more than 2,050 arrests made across New York City.”

Meanwhile, New York City Police officers have reportedly suffered 32 percent more injuries so far in 2023 than in 2022.

The news comes as they city’s officers are apparently resigning at a record pace while crime plagues their neighborhoods and citizens across the country.
