Children of LIGHT v. Children of DARKNESS

Children of Light are in the light. They are not hidden. The light is not a secret. It is there for all to see. It brings clarity to reality for all exposed to the light. The darkness cannot drive out the light, instead the light deletes darkness.

Children of darkness are in the dark. In the dark, everything can be secret. For the dark to continue, it has to keep out any light. Mr. President,

In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children of darkness. The children of light constitute the most conspicuous part of humanity, while the children of darkness represent an absolute minority. And yet the former are the object of a sort of discrimination which places them in a situation of moral inferiority with respect to their adversaries, who often hold strategic positions in government, in politics, in the economy and in the media. In an apparently inexplicable way, the good are held hostage by the wicked and by those who help them either out of self-interest or fearfulness.

These two sides, which have a Biblical nature, follow the clear separation between the offspring of the Woman and the offspring of the Serpent. On the one hand, there are those who, although they have a thousand defects and weaknesses, are motivated by the desire to do good, to be honest, to raise a family, to engage in work, to give prosperity to their homeland, to help the needy, and, in obedience to the Law of God, to merit the Kingdom of Heaven. On the other hand, there are those who serve themselves, who do not hold any moral principles, who want to demolish the family and the nation, exploit workers to make themselves unduly wealthy, foment internal divisions and wars, and accumulate power and money: for them the fallacious illusion of temporal well-being will one day โ€“ if they do not repent โ€“ yield to the terrible fate that awaits them, far from God, in eternal damnation.

We will also discover that the riots in these days were provoked by those who, seeing that the virus is inevitably fading and that the social alarm of the pandemic is waning, necessarily have had to provoke civil disturbances, because they would be followed by repression which, although legitimate, could be condemned as an unjustified aggression against the population. The same thing is also happening in Europe, in perfect synchrony. It is quite clear that the use of street protests is instrumental to the purposes of those who would like to see someone elected in the upcoming presidential elections who embodies the goals of the deep state and who expresses those goals faithfully and with conviction. It will not be surprising if, in a few months, we learn once again that hidden behind these acts of vandalism and violence there are those who hope to profit from the dissolution of the social order so as to build a world without freedom: Solve et Coagula, as the Masonic adage teaches.

Although it may seem disconcerting, the opposing alignments I have described are also found in religious circles. There are faithful Shepherds who care for the flock of Christ, but there are also mercenary infidels who seek to scatter the flock and hand the sheep over to be devoured by ravenous wolves. It is not surprising that these mercenaries are allies of the children of darkness and hate the children of light: just as there is a deep state, there is also a deep church that betrays its duties and forswears its proper commitments before God. Thus the Invisible Enemy, whom good rulers fight against in public affairs, is also fought against by good shepherds in the ecclesiastical sphere. It is a spiritual battle, which I spoke about in my recent Appeal which was published on May 8.In society, Mr. President, these two opposing realities co-exist as eternal enemies, just as God and Satan are eternal enemies. And it appears that the children of darkness โ€“ whom we may easily identify with the deep state which you wisely oppose and which is fiercely waging war against you in these days โ€“ have decided to show their cards, so to speak, by now revealing their plans. They seem to be so certain of already having everything under control that they have laid aside that circumspection that until now had at least partially concealed their true intentions. The investigations already under way will reveal the true responsibility of those who managed the COVID emergency not only in the area of health care but also in politics, the economy, and the media. We will probably find that in this colossal operation of social engineering there are people who have decided the fate of humanity, arrogating to themselves the right to act against the will of citizens and their representatives in the governments of nations.

What's The Source Of The Astounding 50% Boost In Corporate Profits?

 

No wonder Corporate America added $1.2 trillion in profits to be distributed to the elites of America: everything is diminished, stripped of quality and rendered miserable. Too bad there's no real competition left in the US economy.

 

One of the most extraordinary economic marvels of the past decade is the astounding 50% leap in corporate profits, from $2.4 trillion (pre-tax) pre-pandemic lockdown to $3.6 trillion (pre-tax) in the years since the lockdown ended.

 

Strangely, few seem to ask the source of this astounding 50% leap. Wall Street has certainly cheered this vast increase, but few analysts ponder the source, or ask if the source is a net plus for the economy and nation.

 

As shockingly heretical as it sounds, the interests of corporate America often diverge from the interests of the citizenry, overall economy and the nation. For example, the wholesale gutting of the US industrial base in the mad rush to lower costs and quality by shipping entire supply chains to China.

 

As I've often pointed out, the meagre savings that trickled down to the consumer were more than offset by the collapse of quality and durability in the globalized goods that now line the shelves of every retailer in the US.

 

Corporate PR and its well-paid army of toady analysts and pundits would have us believe this is "capitalism" busily at work as pent-up consumer demand naturally pushed prices higher, and corporations weresadlyforced to pass along these higher costs to consumers.

 

Recall that "higher costs" don't show up as higher profits. If the "cost of goods" is $1, and I charge the consumer $2, I reap $1 profit. If my costs double to $2 and I charge the consumer $3, I reap the same $1 profit as I did before the cost spike pushed my production costs up.

 

The higher corporate profits are the direct result of profiteering and price-gouging. Oh boo-hoo, our costs went up and we were forced to pass them along was simply the cover story. If the cost of a $1 item went up $1 to $2, Corporate America merrily doubled its profit margin from $1 to $2.

 

This is what happens when you allow your economy to be dominated by quasi-monopolies and cartels. They all raise prices and diminish quality as a unified concentration of financial and political power.

 

The other source of sharply higher corporate profits is shrinkflation, the relentless reduction in the quantity of product in the packaging. One wonders how thin the can of tuna will eventually beโ€“the thickness of a pancake? Or how thin can they make the box of cereal before the container can no longer stand upright?

 

The reduction of the quality of goods and services, a.k.a. crapification, is a key source of soaring corporate profits. As the unhappy buyer of three replacement appliances this year alone, all replacements for failed name-brand appliances that lasted 7 years or lessโ€“I can attest that crapification / planned obsolescence is a core source of higher profits.

 

Design the product to fail, or default to the lowest cost components, i.e. failure by default, and consumers are forced to replace appliances every few years that once routinely lasted decades. This conveyor belt of products to the Landfill is highly profitable.

 

Lastly, there's the immiseration of services, making standard service so miserable that consumers are forced to either endure wretched, incompetent, unreliable service, or pay extra for a "premium" service which is actually of poorer quality than the old standard of service.

Israel Choking Aid Deliveries into Gaza

 

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) described the Israeli inspection protocols in Gaza as severely restrictive and that Tel Aviv should face consequences for preventing aid from the besieged enclave. Israel has restricted aid deliveries into Gaza to just a fraction of pre-war levels. Nearly all residents of Gaza are internally displaced. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are suffering from starvation and diseases.

 

On CBS Newsโ€™ โ€œFace the Nation,โ€ Van Hollen explained that Israelโ€™s inspection processes for aid entering Gaza are choking aid deliveries into the Strip. โ€œAnd when one item on a truck is rejected, the entire truck is rejected,โ€ The Maryland Senator said. โ€œAnd according to all the international [nongovernmental organizations] that we talked about who have been operating in conflict zones around the world, theyโ€™ve never seen a worse process for assuring the safe delivery of humanitarian assistance.โ€

 

When asked if Israel should face consequences for restricting aid, the Senator replied, โ€œYes, I do think there โ€ฆ have to be consequences.โ€ โ€œAnd you know, [Secretary of State Antony Blinken] and President Biden had been right to insist on two things: a reduction in the unacceptable levels of civilian casualties, and much more cooperation when it comes to providing humanitarian assistance.โ€ He continued, โ€œWeโ€™ve not seen that.โ€

However, aid organizations say the aid is insufficient to meet the needs of the Gazan population. At least 85% of Palestinians in the Strip have been displaced by Israeli military operations. 23,000 Gazans have been killed, with the number of dead children approaching 10,000.

 

The displacement of around two million people and the lack of aid has led to the spread of disease and starvation. International agencies estimate that over 500,000 Palestinians are in a state of starvation, with another 250,000 suffering from diarrhea or respiratory infections.

US sailor sentenced to 27 months in prison for selling military secrets to China

 

A US Navy serviceman who admitted to accepting bribes from a Chinese intelligence officer in exchange for sensitive US military information has been sentenced to more than two years in federal prison.

 

US District Judge R. Gary Klausner on Monday handed down the 27-month prison sentence to Petty Officer Wenheng Zhao, 26, of Monterey Park, Calif.

 

The Justice Department had sought a sentence of 37 months, arguing that Zhao had obstructed the governmentโ€™s investigation.

 

In October, Zhao pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring with a Chinese intelligence officer and one count of receiving a bribe, both felonies.

 

The sailor admitted to receiving nearly $15,000 in bribes from the intelligence officer between August 2021 and May 2023, when he worked at Naval Base Ventura County in Port Hueneme, Calif.

 

Zhao, who held a security clearance, secretly collected and transmitted information to China related to Navy operational security, military trainings and critical infrastructure, according to the Justice Department.

 

He specifically confessed to passing on plans for a large-scale maritime training exercise in the Pacific theater, operational orders, and electrical diagrams and blueprints for a Japanese radar system.

 

โ€œOfficer Zhao betrayed his country and the men and women of the US Navy by accepting bribes from a foreign adversary,โ€ US Attorney Martin Estrada said at the time of Zhaoโ€™s guilty plea. โ€œWhile he and the PRC officer he served took great pains to conceal their corrupt scheme, investigators were vigilant in uncovering this shameful plot.โ€

 

Zhao, a naturalized US citizen born in China, was arrested last July and had been held in custody without bail.

The issue is that in NYC, you can't do any type of construction without getting a Work Permit from the Dept. of Buildings.

It requires a licensed engineer to draw up proposed plans for the construction, digging, tunnels etc. and must be APPROVED by the Dept. of Buildings for structural integrity before.

Ecuador has declared a state of emergency after a dangerous drug lord escaped a maximum security prison, as he did a decade ago.

He was serving a 34-year sentence for drug trafficking and organised crime.

Los Choneros is blamed for a spike in violence which peaked at a new level last year with the assassination of presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio.

 

A week before his death, anti-cartel candidate Villavicencio said he had received threats from Fito.

 

Fito was reportedly tipped off to the police inspection and escaped hours before, presidency spokesman Roberto Izurieta said.

 

"The full force of the state is being deployed to find this extremely dangerous individual," Mr Izurieta said.

 

Meanwhile, the prosecutor's office said it had opened an investigation and filed charges against two prison officials "allegedly involved in the escape".

 

Fito escaped jail previously in 2013 but was recaptured after three months.

 

After his escape, unrest broke out at prisons in six of Ecuador's 24 provinces on Monday, according to the country's prison authority, SNAI.
