Milei launches 'Isaac Accords' to expand Israeli influence in Latin America

 

Amid the genocide in Gaza, the Argentine president has turned his country from a staunch critic of Israel to a major supporter

 

Argentinian President Javier Milei formally launched the Isaac Accords on 29 November, a new initiative aimed at strengthening political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Israel and Latin America.

 

Milei announced the initiative following a meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, who visited Buenos Aires on Saturday as part of a regional diplomatic tour.

 

The Isaac Accords are being promoted in partnership with Washington and are modeled after the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and several Arab countries, including the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco.

 

Milei said Argentina would serve as a “pioneer” alongside the US to promote the new framework to other Latin American countries, including Uruguay, Panama, and Costa Rica.

Athena Security Unveils AI X-Ray Drone Defense System to Defend Critical U.S. Infrastructure

The frequency of major drone incidents worldwide has risen more than 60%, and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has reported a 25.6% increase in illegal drone incursions since 2024.

In response to increasing drone threats, Athena Security has developed a drone defense system. The newly unveiled Drone Defense Detection Model—integrated into the company’s AI Assisted X-ray screening system—detects and flags drone components, including those hidden within cargo or luggage, before they can be assembled or reach secure perimeters—empowering government sites, airports, transportation hubs, and critical infrastructure operators to act before a threat becomes an incident.

 

Rising Threat from Inexpensive Drones: A Global Wake-Up Call

In recent years, the Russia–Ukraine war has vividly demonstrated how drones that cost less than $1,000 each can be weaponized to cause massive devastation.

Both Russian and Ukrainian forces have used inexpensive unmanned systems—many that were repurposed commercial or hobby drones—to strike energy infrastructure, rail networks, ammunition depots, and civilian sites.

 

In one instance, in October 2025, Russia launched a massive barrage of over 300 drones and missiles targeting Ukraine’s energy grid, causing widespread outages across multiple regions.

At the same time, Europe’s aviation system has experienced collateral consequences. Airports from Munich to Copenhagen have experienced disruptive drone incursions, leading to flight cancellations, postponements, and temporary shutdowns.

 

In other examples:

In October 2025, Munich Airport canceled 17 flights and grounded nearly 3,000 passengers after overnight drone sightings forced a seven-hour shutdown.

In September 2025, multiple drones halted all takeoffs and landings for nearly four hours at Copenhagen Airport, disrupting dozens of flights across Scandinavia.

Later, in the same month of September 2025, a drone intrusion near Fuerteventura Airport in Spain’s Canary Islands caused diversions and delays, disrupting travel for hundreds of passengers.

 

These incidents underscore a simple truth: adversaries and malicious actors now have the means to easily threaten both military and civilian targets at low cost, with limited warning.

"Today’s drones are inexpensive, stealthy and scalable. Waiting for an incident is no longer a viable defense," says Chris Ciabarra, Co-founder and CTO of Athena Security.

"Our goal is to give critical infrastructure operators a chance to stop threats before they reach the secure perimeter—whether the threat arrives by backpack, cargo bay, or is assembled onsite."

In pardon of narco trafficker, Trump destroys his own case for war==

 

It appears more important to the White House that the party of convicted Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández wins Sunday's volatile election.

 

The Trump administration has literally killed more than 80 suspected drug smugglers by blowing their small boats out of the water since September, but this week the president has reportedly decided to pardon one of the biggest cocaine traffickers of them all.

 

If that doesn't make any sense to you, then join the club.

 

The news that Trump is going to pardon Juan Orlando Hernández, the former president of Honduras who was sentenced to 45 years in U.S. prison just last year came as a shocker. The White House has said repeatedly that drug traffickers are narcoterrorists who are waging war on America, justifying their killing the boats every time. Yet Hernandez was convicted of conspiring to import 500,000 kilos of cocaine into the United States and stuff it "right up the noses of the gringos" and Trump says "CONGRATULATIONS TO JUAN ORLANDO HERNANDEZ ON YOUR UPCOMING PARDON."

 

While president, Hernández received millions of dollars from trafficking organizations in Honduras, Mexico, and from notorious drug lords like Joaquín Guzmán Loera, a.k.a. El Chapo, who was the former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel and is responsible for the murder of some 34,000 people. In return, according to prosecutors, President Hernández allowed vast amounts of cocaine to pass through Honduras on its way to the United States.

 

Prosecutor Jacob H. Gutwillig told jurors during the trial that Hernández had accepted “cocaine-fueled bribes” from cartels and “protected their drugs with the full power and strength of the state — military, police and justice system.” Hernández ran the country from 2014-2022; his National Party had been in power since 2009.

 

Sounds like the very type of menace — or terrorist — that the Trump administration is trying to use as a justification for military action in Latin America today.

 

"Former president Hernández was found guilty of taking bribes from El Chapo and the Sinaloa Cartel to allow 400 tons of cocaine to flow through Honduras into the United States, essentially running Honduras like a narcostate," noted Quincy Institute research associate Lee Schlenker.

 

"Trump accuses Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro of conspiring to flood the United States with deadly drugs through the dubious 'Cartel of the Suns,' but far from pardoning Maduro or praising his acolytes, like (he promises) with Hernández, Trump has brought us closer to a U.S.-led military intervention in Latin America than we've been in over 35 years by threatening air strikes against Venezuelan territory," he added.

 

We assume the difference here is politics. And ideology. Maduro is a socialist and doesn't want to do business with Washington. Hernandez was tolerated if not preferred by previous U.S. administrations from Obama through the first Trump White House, because he and his National Party were business friendly, anti-communist, and supported by the neoconservatives now gunning against Maduro.

Drone Pilot Flies Through a Tornado, Captures its Awesome Power

An FPV drone pilot flew a GoPro directly into a tornado to capture decidedly spellbinding footage of an atmospheric twister churning up the Oklahoma landscape.

Luke Bredar explains that he reached out to storm chaser Ricky Forbes and Braydon Morisseau with his “dream of filming tornadoes from above.” In May this year, he headed to Arnett, Oklahoma, and quickly realized he had no idea what he was letting himself in for.

 

Forbes and Morisseau are both expert storm chasers with years of experience. Bredar was tagging along with them as they searched for tornadoes and was immediately capturing stunning material. About a month later, Bredar went out with Forbes again, this time in North Dakota.

“As it turns out, the vast majority of storm chasing is actually driving and repositioning and managing your nerves,” says Bredar. “Experiencing the strengthening wind and darkening sky, your body knows something is wrong, instincts tell you to turn around.”

 

Bredar donned his FPV goggles while still sitting inside the car so the crew could make a quick getaway if need be. On one flight, he lost contact with his camera as it was downed into a field. However, he was later able to retrieve it.

While chasing one huge supercell storm, Bredar is ordered to down his drone as Forbes realizes they are in a precarious spot and could get swallowed up by a tornado. The drone pilot quickly lands in a field so they can make their escape.

 

In the mini documentary published to GoPro’s YouTube channel, Bredar questions whether he really wants to be a part of the dangerous world of storm chasing where people can die from the extreme hobby.

“Later, it was officially rated the first EF5 since 2013, the highest category on the tornado scale,” Bredar says of the supercell in North Dakota.

“With estimated wind speeds of over 238 miles per hour, it had enough power to derail 33 train cars weighing over 72,000 lbs each. Three people’s lives were lost that night.”

 

Bredar notes that it is odd to experience one of nature’s most spectacular shows through an artificial headset, but points out that it is the only way to capture the footage.

Drone mystery persists in New Jersey despite federal explanation and FAA authorizations

Over a year ago, a string of drone sightings across the skies of New Jersey sparked widespread panic and speculation that either UFOs or foreign enemies were encroaching on American airspace, and some of these sightings still remain a mystery to the public.

The first drone sighting appeared on November 13, 2024 at Picatinny Arsenal airspace, which is an US Army research facility.

A spokesman for Picatinny Arsenal shared with the New York Post this week that “the suspected drones were not the result of any military-related activity on the installation and were not approved to fly over the installation.”

 

Following this initial appearance, an additional ten drone sightings were reported with the last one occurring on December 6. Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) claimed that Iran was piloting the large drones, which President Biden's Department of Defense quickly shot down.

After Trump took office in January, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reaffirmed the Pentagon’s declaration that a foreign enemy was not behind the slew of drone sightings in New Jersey.

Leavitt shared that most of the drones were actually approved by the FAA.

 

"After research and study, the drones that were flying over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for research and various other reasons," Leavitt said at a briefing Tuesday.

"This was not the enemy."

 

Officials also determined that some of the alleged drone sightings were actually airplanes which were mistaken to be drones.

Those include a sighting over Salem Nuclear Power Facility, an alleged sighting which caused the diversion of a medevac helicopter and a sighting at a National Guard facility.

 

Even with the federal government taking responsibility for the drone sightings, there still lacks explanation for why many of the drone sightings, some which include large clusters of drones the size of school buses, even occurred.

Montvale New Jersey Mayor Mike Ghassali shared with the New York Post the town is still in the dark as to why Montvale’s skies were lit up with drones for weeks.

“No one had any answers. Even when the state police and the FBI brought all the mayors in to talk about what these are, they said, “We don’t know. We don’t know anything,’” Ghassali said. “To this day.”

Very sorry to announce that James Rink, who was a victim of MK Ultra programs designed to turn him into a supersoldier, and who subsequently created the popular SuperSoldierTalk Youtube channel, has died of cardiac-related issues at age 45.

 

James wrote his autobiography, Lone Wolf: Alpha Squad Copy Over (2025), which described his difficult life and his determined research into MK Ultra programs and super soldier training for Secret Space Programs (SSPs). He organized multiple conferences and online events highlighting supersoldier and SSP testimonies.

 

James and his closest supporters believe he was targeted at his last Supersoldier Conference held in Orlando, FL in October, 2025, by a DEW aimed to stimulate heart failure. James warned several conference presenters that some presenters were being targeted this way.

 

Ironically, James had invited me to his conference, but I declined as I was still recovering from my own health issues resulting from a similar attack at a Sept 2024 conference held near Denver, CO.

 

James will be remembered as a kind and generous man who interviewed hundreds who believed they were part of super soldier programs and/or served on secret space programs.

 

He was open-minded and considerate of all he interviewed. James had many friends and will be missed. RIP James.

Astronomers spot mysterious UFO dubbed ‘Dudley Dorito’ 18 years later

A mysterious triangular UFO dubbed the "Dudley Dorito" has re-appeared in the skies of the Britain - nearly 20 years after first being spotted.

The triangular-shaped object was spotted flying in the sky near the Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Dudley, West Mids, on Nov. 21.

 

A resident believes his snaps could be the infamous "Dudley Dorito" - which captured the nation's imagination after being spotted three times in three years between 2010 and 2013

He said the craft moved silently through the skies and that he checked Flight Scanner for scheduled flights - only to find there were none.

The photo shared in the "Black Country Paranormal" Facebook group appears to show a flying object with flashing lights above Thorns Road, in the Brierley Hill area, at around 7:17 p.m.

 

The post reads: "Thinking that he was seeing a formation of Starlink satellites, he pulled over in a cul-de-sac just before Steven’s Park to get a better look.

"The craft was a huge black rectangle, with lights on each of the corners.

"After observing this craft for a short while, it silently flew towards the Merry Hill Shopping Centre, and out of his view.

 

"While this sighting was occurring, James checked on Flight Scanner to see if there was any air traffic in the vicinity that could explain what was witnessing, however there was none.

"James was able to take several photos as this object moved away.

"James' sighting has some resemblance to the “Dudley Dorito” sightings that have been reported in the area over the last 20 years.

"Starting in 2007, this craft has been observed all over the Black Country."

 

In October 2008, a photograph of the Dudley Dorito made headlines was hailed as an important piece of evidence of alien life.

It is believed to be noiseless, four or five times larger than a plane and has several lights attached to it.

 

The object has also been spotted hovering over Dudley Castle and also previously at the Merry Hill Shopping Centre where the latest sighting happened.

And in April, 2009, builders at West Midland Safari Park were stunned to see a UFO floating above them. The Dudley Dorito has also been sighted as far away as York.

Do you find yourself getting increasingly irate while scrolling through your social media feed?

 

If so, you may be falling victim to rage bait, which Oxford University Press has named its word or phrase of the year.

 

It is a term that describes manipulative tactics used to drive engagement online, with usage of it increasing threefold in the last 12 months, according to the dictionary publisher.

 

Rage bait beat two other shortlisted terms - aura farming and biohack - to win the title.

 

The list of words is intended to reflect some of the moods and conversations that have shaped 2025.

 

What is rage bait?

Even if you don't know the term, if you're a social media user, it's quite likely you have been rage baited.

 

According to Oxford University Press, which publishes the Oxford English Dictionary, it is defined as online content deliberately designed to elicit anger or outrage by being frustrating, provocative, or offensive.

 

What is rage baiting and why is it profitable?

 

Such content is typically posted in order to increase traffic to websites or social media accounts.

 

It is similar to its internet cousin clickbait, where a headline is used to lure a reader in to view an article or video.

 

But rage bait content has a more specific focus on making people cross.

 

What do the other shortlisted words mean?

Aura farming: The cultivation of an impressive, attractive, or charismatic persona or public image by behaving or presenting oneself in a way intended subtly to convey an air of confidence, coolness, or mystique.

 

Biohack: To attempt to improve or optimise one's physical or mental performance, health, longevity, or wellbeing by altering one's diet, exercise routine, or lifestyle, or by using other means such as drugs, supplements, or technological devices.

 

The three shortlisted words were put to a public vote, the results of which helped to guide the final decision taken by OUP's language experts.

 

"The fact that the word rage bait exists and has seen such a dramatic surge in usage means we're increasingly aware of the manipulation tactics we can be drawn into online," said Casper Grathwohl, president of Oxford Languages.

 

"Before, the internet was focused on grabbing our attention by sparking curiosity in exchange for clicks, but now we've seen a dramatic shift to it hijacking and influencing our emotions, and how we respond.

 

"It feels like the natural progression in an ongoing conversation about what it means to be human in a tech-driven world - and the extremes of online culture."

Last year's word of the year, brain rot, captured the mental drain of mindless scrolling on Instagram or TikTok.

 

Mr Grathwohl said both 2024 and 2025's winners have a similar theme.

 

"Together, they form a powerful cycle where outrage sparks engagement, algorithms amplify it, and constant exposure leaves us mentally exhausted," he said.

 

Previous Oxford words of the year have included selfie, goblin mode and rizz.

 

Cambridge Dictionary has declared parasocial its word of 2025, which it defined as a relationship felt by someone between themselves and a famous person they do not know.

 

Its examples include the interest displayed by fans when pop star Taylor Swift and American footballer Travis Kelce announced their engagement.

 

Meanwhile, Collins Dictionary went for vibe coding, which is the art of making an app or website by describing it to artificial intelligence rather than by writing programming code manually.

President Donald Trump on Monday signed into law a measure authorizing billions of dollars in federal funding to help prevent drug overdoses and aid patients recovering from addiction, according to the White House.

The measure effectively reauthorizes a public health program that was first established under Trump in 2018 and expired five years later. Included are a raft of services designed to combat drug addiction and address mental health, as well as initiatives to bolster research and repay loans for professionals treating substance abuse. Funding generally will still be subject to future appropriations by Congress.

The legislation marks the latest effort by Washington to address a public health crisis over drug addiction and overdose deaths, in particular from fentanyl, a powerful painkiller. While its uncertain if Republicans will keep their slim majority in Congress after the midterm elections, six U.S. House seats up for grabs are in Republican strongholds in Texas. Nearly all outgoing members were endorsed by President Donald Trump.

 

U.S. Rep. Troy Nehls, CD-22, southwest Houston area suburbs

 

Nehls, first elected in 2020, is the latest to announce he’s retiring.

 

“After more than 30 years in law enforcement serving and protecting my community as a police officer, constable, Fort Bend County Sheriff, an Army veteran, and six years representing this district in Congress, I have made the decision, after conversations with my beautiful bride and my girls over the Thanksgiving holiday, to focus on my family and return home after this Congress,” he said in a post on X

 

On the same day, his identical twin brother, Trevor Nehls, announced he was running. His obsession led to him changing his surname as tribute to the singer, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.

 

“Can’t wait going to be the best birthday present ever,” the 26-year-old wrote sharing a Facebook post of the pop star who shared her next stop is Australia.

 

“I’ll finally be able to see her again,” he wrote in another post.
