SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (Reuters) - The leader of an armed group that spent the past two months detaining migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border, drawing condemnation from civil liberties advocates, has been hospitalized after he was attacked in jail, his attorney said.

Larry Hopkins, 69, was in a hospital with broken ribs after being attacked on Tuesday at the Dona Ana County Detention Center in Las Cruces in southern New Mexico, attorney Kelly Oโ€™Connell said.

A spokeswoman for the Dona Ana County center did not respond to a request for comment on Wednesday.

Game over IMO means victory has already been secured by the events that have been set into motion, and /ourguys/ are able to view that victory to know this with confidence. (View of timelines? or just extensive data + computer modelling to ascertain the flow of significant events.) Some Sri Lankan lawmakers are calling for a nationwide burka ban, following the deadly Easter Sunday attacks.

 

One Sri Lankan lawmaker announced the bill on Facebook Tuesday, citing national security concerns.

 

In particular, lawmakers are worried about terrorists masking their identities by wearing burqas before carrying out attacks.

 

This comes after a series of terrorist attacks that were carried out on Easter, which killed over 300 people.

 

If the bill is passed into office, Sri Lanka would become the 14th country to institute a burqa ban.

President Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen has backtracked in a recent recorded phone call, claiming he's not actually guilty for crimes he pleaded guilty to.

 

 

In a conversation with Trump-hating provocateur Tom Arnold, Cohen said that he hadn't evaded taxes, and that a criminal charge linked to his home-equity line of credit was "a lie," according to the Wall Street Journal.

 

Arnold recorded Cohen without his knowledge for approximately 36 minutes during a March 25 phone call, which Arnold provided to the Journal.

 

Of note, Cohen is due to begin serving a three-year prison sentence on May 6 after testifying for more than 100 hours to federal and congressional investigators.

 

"You would think that you would have folks, you know, stepping up and saying, โ€˜You know what, this guyโ€™s lost everything,โ€™" Cohen told Arnold during the call. "My familyโ€™s happiness, and my law license," he continued, "I lost my businessโ€ฆmy insurance, my bank accounts, all for what? All for what? Because Trump, you know, had an affair with a porn star? Thatโ€™s really what this is about."

 

Cohen's attorney, Lanny Davis, said: "Michael has taken responsibility for his crimes and will soon report to prison to serve his sentence. While he cannot change the past, he is making every effort to reclaim his life and do right by his family and country. He meant no offense by his statements."

 

And while the White House and the Manhattan US attorney's office declined to comment, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani tweeted: "Poetic justice for a disbarred lawyer who surreptitiously recorded his client and numerous others including Chris Cuomo."

President Trump's former attorney, Michael Cohen, reportedly told comedian Tom Arnold that he is not guilty of some of the charges for which he pleaded guilty, and expressed frustration at the length of his sentence and a lack of support from those in Washington.

 

In recordings of a March phone call Arnold provided to The Wall Street Journal, Cohen decried being "a man all alone" in Washington, while insisting that some of the charges including one related to his home-equity line of credit (Heloc) were "lie[s]."

 

โ€œThere is no tax evasion,โ€ he told Arnold, according to the Journal. โ€œAnd the Heloc? I have an 18 percent loan-to-value on my home. How could there be a Heloc issue? How? Right?โ€ฆItโ€™s a lie.โ€

When NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers discovered the use of the database he shut down contractor access on April 18th, 2016.

 

When Fusion GPS was hired by the DNC and Clinton team immediately following the shut-down of FBI contractor access; it now appears the purpose was to provide cover for government surveillance already taking place. Perhaps part of that motive was fear of what NSA Rogers might do.

 

Obama needed an external source of information that could cover domestic surveillance and spy operations. Thatโ€™s why Fusion GPS was hired, and why emphasis was put on using foreign intelligence contacts to create the excuse to continue surveillance that was always taking place.

When Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were discussing the โ€œinsurance policyโ€ in August 2016, they were not discussing insurance from the perspective of their success, ie. Clinton elected; they were discussing insurance from the position of: if they failed.

While the overseas CIA operation was working to create plausible explanation and start Crossfire Hurricane, back in the U.S. Fusion-GPS was contracted to supplement the appearances for a domestic parallel track.

 

 

Fusion ran operations for the Russian appearances inside the U.S., ex. Trump Tower meeting. For their effort, Fusion was using previously extracted FISA-702(16)(17) results to create more supportive evidence and plausible material. That Fusion effort led to the Steele Dossier.

Enter the FISA warrant and Carter Page. A FISA warrant that could be built upon the Steele Dossier was what they needed.

 

The Steele Dossier is the investigative virus the FBI wanted inside the system. To get the virus into official status, they used the FISA application as the delivery method and injected it into Carter Page.

 

The FBI already knew Carter Page; essentially Carter Page was irrelevant, what they needed was the Dossier in the system {Go Deep}.

 

With the communication from Alexander Downer (foundation for the EC), in conjunction with the Steele Dossier (foundation for the Page FISA), the CIA and FBI now held a plausible -albeit fraudulently obtained- basis to explain/justify all of their 2015 and 2016 political spying

โ€œIt was a close thing between Carter and Askew, but we were impressed that Carter had opened up trade offices for the state of Georgia in Brussels and Tokyo. That seemed to fit perfectly into the concept of the Trilateral.โ€

 

Carter, in fact, like Askew, did announce for the 1976 Democratic presidential nomination, but because of Rockefellerโ€™s interest, Carter had the inside shot.

As a newly commissioned ensign, Donald Showers reported to Pearl Harbor in February 1942 and was assigned to the Combat Intelligence Unit, known as Station HYPO, under Commander J. Rochefort. He performed research and other support functions in exploiting the main Japanese naval code. In late 1944, he was selected as deputy to CAPT Edwin Layton, Admiral Nimitz's intelligence officer, to help establish a fleet combat intelligence center (Advance Intelligence Center) on Guam.

 

He developed innovative methods for SIGINT shadowing of Japanese fleet movements, and for distributing sanitized SIGINT for targeting.

 

In the postwar period, RADM Showers was instrumental in acquiring and maintaining order of battle information on adversaries of the United States. He served as fleet intelligence officer and as an instructor in intelligence schools.

 

During the Vietnam War, the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency placed Rear Admiral Showers in charge of an effort to find and correct breaches of security that had given North Vietnamese forces knowledge of Strategic Air Command Operations. RADM Showers formed the PURPLE DRAGON program, an interagency group, comprising members from NSA, the staff of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Service Cryptologic Agencies. The program's findings resulted in greater combat effectiveness and saved American lives in Vietnam.

 

RADM Showers retired from the Navy in 1971 and continues to be held in high esteem among intelligence professionals. The "Rear Admiral Donald M. Showers Award," is presented to the Honor Graduate of the Naval Intelligence Officers Basic Course at the Navy Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center.
