According to Chilean radio station BΓ­o BΓ­o, Tito Rivera MuΓ±oz ended his life on July 19. The ex-priest was accused of raping a man inside the Santiago Metropolitan Cathedral in 2015.

 

The archbishopric of the Chilean capital issued a statement upon the death of the former priest:

 

The archbishopric of Santiago reports the death of Tito Rivera MuΓ±oz, who was a priest of the Church of Santiago. His death occurred on the night of this Sunday, at 68 years of age. Tito Rivera had presented his priestly dispensation to Pope Francis in 2019, which was accepted in the context of a canonical criminal process for crimes against the Sixth Commandment of the Decalogue, with adults.

 

"The archbishop of Santiago has sent the request to dismiss him from priestly ministry to the Holy See, recommending to the Holy Father that it be processed quickly," the archdiocese of Santiago said in 2019.

 

The story began unfolding publicly in early March 2015 after Radio BΓ­o BΓ­o announced a criminal complaint made by Rivera's alleged victim, Daniel Rojas Alvarez.

 

Rojas went to the cathedral to get financial help to buy medicine for his daughter, as reported in the complaint.

 

According to Rojas' testimony, he met Rivera who led him upstairs and down a long corridor to one of the cathedral's bedrooms, where the priest offered him a glass of water.

 

Soon after, Rojas began to feel sick and found he could no longer control his body. Unable to move, Rojas was then raped by Fr. Rivera.

 

Rojas claimed afterwards he attempted to report the abuse to the archdiocese, but was turned away each time. Once, he says, he was kicked out and threatened by a priest who worked at the archdiocese's pastoral complaint office."

I think I may have just gotten a bit of insight on how "COVID-19" is killing people. Yesterday Tucker ran a segment of an interview President Trump had with Dr. Siegal. Trump pointed out that unlike normal flu, he knew of about half a dozen people who had died of the "virus". I don't know this for sure, but I'm going to guess at least some of them were New Yorkers.

 

I've been operating under the hypothesis that the "virus" is almost a non-sequitur as far as "COVID-19". It may be related to the illness, but I have been thinking for some time that a bacteria/parasite is involved and it is intracellular. This would explain the effectiveness of zinc and HCQ in treatment/prevention.

 

Areas with 5G rollout have been suspect of being more likely to be "hotspots" for COVID-19, but by what mechanism? Yesterday, I was reviewing information from the book "Crooked: Man-made Disease Explained" by Forrest Maready. In it he explains that microwaves are one mechanism by which bacteria can lose their cell walls. Bacteria without cell walls can invade human cells and lead to persistent infection and chronic inflammation.

 

What is 5G? Is it or can it be used to "microwave" people? Would one effect maybe, be to allow bacteria in our bodies to hide in our cells and produce chronic infection? Was or is 5G being rolled out in New York, where many cases and deaths from "COVID-19" have occurred?

 

 

Luc Montagnier (sp), nobel prize winner for his work on HIV, has mentioned a link between 5G and "coronavirus" illness. Could this be the missing link: With exposure to certain 5G waves bacteria become intracellular parasites producing or making more severe illness from "COVID-19"?

A total of 161 lab specimens from 144 individuals showed positive results for COVID-19 using the platform during the period of June 15-July 17. Of those, a total of 91 specimens from 90 people showed false positive results. The errant testing results were from a widely-used laboratory testing platform.

 

DPH Reached Out Immediately to Medical Providers of Impacted Patients

Connecticut’s State Public Health Laboratory has uncovered a flaw in one of the testing systems it uses to test for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The flaw, which has been reported to both the manufacturer and the federal Food and Drug Administration, led to 90 of 144 people tested during June 15–July 17, 2020 receiving a false positive COVID test report. The Department of Public Health (DPH) has taken immediate steps to make sure the patients are notified. The errant testing results were from a widely-used laboratory testing platform that the state laboratory started using on June 15. The exact cause of the false positive results is still being investigated.

 

β€œWe have notified the healthcare facilities for everyone who received a false positive test result from our state laboratory,” said Acting Commissioner Deidre S. Gifford, MD, MPH. β€œAccurate and timely testing for the novel coronavirus is one of the pillars supporting effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to the quick action of our team at the state lab, adjustments have already been made to ensure the accuracy of future test results from this platform.”

 

The false positive test results were discovered by DPH laboratory scientists during an examination of previously positive samples to determine the feasibility of testing β€œpooled” specimens at the state lab. The errant results are from test specimens processed between June 15 and July 17. The DPH state public health lab relies on this testing platform, but to ensure accuracy moving forward, all positive results will be further analyzed by multiple laboratory scientists, and if indicated, retested using another method.

 

Medical providers and patients have been notified of false positive results. Many of the persons with false-positive test results are nursing home residents. Any nursing home resident with a false positive COVID-19 test result will be retested as soon as possible. DPH epidemiologists are reaching out to nursing homes again today to review all of the clinical issues for any impacted patients.

 

The overall COVID-19 case numbers for Connecticut will be adjusted downward as a result of these false positive tests, provided that re-testing still shows the impacted individuals to be negative. Connecticut’s count of total positive cases will only be adjusted down for the number of people of these 90 who had received a false positive result and later tests negative. If someone previously received a positive result before receiving the false positive result, that person is still considered a positive case.

 

A total of 161 lab specimens from 144 individuals showed positive results for COVID-19 using the platform during the period of June 15-July 17. Of those, a total of 91 specimens from 90 people showed false positive results.

The surgeon general has a message for people who want to run out and stockpile masks to combat the coronavirus – don't.

 

"Seriously people - STOP BUYING MASKS!" Surgeon General Jerome Adams tweeted. "They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!"

 

The upper-case emphasis is all his, and shows how adamant he is that people stick to the script for prevention offered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

 

"CDC does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19," the CDC says. "Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others."

 

The CDC recommendations add that "the use of facemasks is also crucial for health workers and people who are taking care of someone in close settings."

 

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said last week that the U.S. has a stockpile of 30 million N95 masks but needs at least 270 million more for health care workers alone to prepare for a more widespread outbreak.

 

For the rest of us, the CDC says we should avoid close contact with people who are sick; avoid touching our eyes, nose, and mouth; stay home when we are sick; and cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Also suggested: Frequently cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

 

More than 70 cases of the virus have been confirmed in the U.S., including one death. Globally, more than 86,000 cases have been confirmed, the vast majority of them in China. Almost 3,000 people have died, more than 2,800 of them in China.

"Every tech platform has two policies about what they will allow: the policy that’s written, and the policy that’s enforced. Ideally there would be no gap between these, but in practice it almost can’t be helped.

 

To take one dumb example, the embryonic audio social network Clubhouse posted its first set of community guidelines the other week. One of these rules says β€œwe prohibit the spread of or attempts to spread false information or news.” In theory, this means that only the truth is allowed on Clubhouse. Not a bad policy, really, but when you’re building a network that someday anyone will be able to use to essentially broadcast their phone calls, I imagine that Clubhouse will find it extremely hard to enforce. Of course people will lie on Clubhouse. They will lie all the time. The question is who will be punished for doing so.

 

I thought about all this on Tuesday night after reading that Twitter had banned 7,000 accounts and put restrictions on 150,000 more related to the sprawling conspiracy theory slash alternate reality game slash religion QAnon. Ben Collins and Brandy Zadrozny had the scoop at NBC News:

 

Twitter will stop recommending accounts and content related to QAnon, including material in email and follow recommendations, and it will take steps to limit circulation of content in features like trends and search. The action will affect about 150,000 accounts, said a spokesperson, who asked to remain unnamed because of concerns about the targeted harassment of social media employees.

 

The sweeping enforcement action will ban QAnon-related terms from appearing in trending topics and the platform’s search feature, ban known QAnon-related URLs and prohibit β€œswarming” of people who are baselessly targeted by coordinated harassment campaigns pushed by QAnon followers.

 

The ban on β€œswarming” is particularly significant. Often conspiracy theorists will falsely declare various celebrities and politicians as being at the heart of some lunatic Satan-worshiping scheme, and their followers will descend on the timelines of the accused β€” and their friends and family β€” to wreak havoc.

 

And yet, how will swarming be detected? Twitter updated its policy by tweeting it, which means the update itself was brief to the point of being opaque. You will be suspending if you are found to be β€œcoordinating abuse around individual victims.” OK. But what if you’re just one of thousands of accounts in the victim’s mentions tweeting β€œstop eating babies”? I don’t see anything in the policy about that β€” perhaps because, from an enforcement, perspective, it could be difficult to determine what makes abuse β€œcoordinated.” As Evelyn Douek notes here, Twitter itself has not yet defined what it means by coordination."

So, over the years, I developed a (weird?) habit of checking out the global incident report map every few months. Just did that. I go thru all of the categories and just kinda look around at what it's saying is going on.

 

Well, I clicked to view the map showing Disease outbreaks, and couldn't believe my eyes…the US is showing up nearly empty!!

Once more, I check another source. This time CDC. They state of measles, "As of June 5, 2020, there have been 12 confirmed cases in 7 jurisdictions." Compare that to 2019: "From January 1 to December 31, 2019, 1,282* individual cases of measles were confirmed in 31 states." Prosecutors allege Tang Juan, a researcher focusing on biology, lied about her connection to the Chinese military in order to obtain entry into the US and has since avoided arrest by taking refuge in the West Coast diplomatic mission.

 

 

According to court filings, Tang was charged on June 26 with one count of visa fraud. Prosecutors said she concealed her connection to the country's military in her visa application, but investigators "discovered photographs of her in the uniform of the Civilian Cadre of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA)" and that she had been employed as a researcher at the Fourth Military Medical University (FMMU).

 

During an interview with FBI agents on June 20, "Tang denied serving in the Chinese military, claimed she did not know the meaning of the insignia on her uniform, and that wearing a military uniform was required for attendance at FMMU because it was a military school," attorneys wrote in a July 20 court filing.

 

However, during a search of her residence and electronic media, FBI agents allegedly "found further evidence of Tang's PLA affiliation."

 

Following her interview with the bureau, Tang allegedly fled to the San Francisco consulate, "where the FBI assesses she has remained."

 

CNN has reached out to the US State Department, the Justice Department and the FBI for further comment. Separately, CNN has also reached out to China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

In the criminal complaint, which names several other Chinese scientists in the US, prosecutors claim they are part of a "program conducted by the PLA and specifically, FMMU or associated institutions to send military scientists to the United States on false pretenses with false covers or false statements about their true employment."

 

"There exists evidence in at least one of these cases of a military scientist copying or stealing information from American institutions at the direction of military superiors in China," prosecutors said. "There additionally exists evidence of the PRC government instructing these individuals to destroy evidence and in coordinating efforts regarding the departure of these individuals from the United States, particularly following the charges filed against Xin Wang in this district on June 7, 2020."

 

Last month, Wang was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport, attempting to depart the United States for Tianjin, China, and was charged with visa fraud.

Commenting on Wang's arrest, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying called it "blatant political persecution."

 

"As far as I know, Wang Xin does research in the field of cardiovascular diseases. I don't see how that could ever threaten US national interest or security," she said, adding that "recently many Chinese citizens were questioned for a long time by American law enforcement officials while leaving the US, and the digital devices they carried were also examined."

The revelation comes after Washington said it ordered Beijing to close its consulate in Houston, Texas, by Friday amid espionage accusations – a move China vowed to retaliate against as relations between the two superpowers plumb new lows over coronavirus, trade and Beijing's move to claim more authority over Hong Kong.

 

According to the court filings, Tang Juan, a biology researcher at the University of California, Davis, was questioned by the FBI on June 20 and charged with visa fraud six days later. Investigators allege she falsely claimed on her visa application that she had not served in the Chinese military. However, photos of her in a Chinese military uniform were discovered and it was later ascertained that she had worked as a researcher at China’s Air Force Military Medical University (FMMU), according to the filings.
