Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler told demonstrators they were helping President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign during a news conference Thursday after another night of protests in Portland, Oregon, the Associated Press reported.

Protests on Thursday targeted a police precinct, where demonstrators allegedly disabled security cameras, broke windows, removed boards used to barricade the doors, stared fires and shined lasers at officers’ eyes, the AP reported. A number of civilian employees and 20 officers were inside the precinct, Portland Police Captain Tony Passadore said, the AP reported.

“When you commit arson with an accelerant in an attempt to burn down a building that is occupied by people who you have intentionally trapped inside, you are not demonstrating, you are attempting to commit murder,” Wheeler said of the attacks on the police precinct, according to the local Fox affiliate.

“Don’t think for a moment that if you are participating in this activity, you are not being a prop for the reelection campaign of Donald Trump — because you absolutely are,” Wheeler said Thursday, the AP reported. “If you don’t want to be part of that, then don’t show up.”

Johnny Chung

When John Kerry met with them in his Washington office, he had no idea that Liu Chaoying was a Lt. Colonel in the People’s Liberation Army.

Johnny Chung told Kerry that Liu wanted one of her companies listed on the Stock Exchange. Senator Kerry’s people were happy to help and immediately sent a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On September 9, 1996, Johnny Chung helped organize a fundraiser for Kerry in Beverly Hills. This was undoubtedly pay-for-play.

Around the same time, Liu Chaoying would wire $300,000 to Johnny Chung. Liu put that money into Chung’s Hong Kong bank account after she introduced him to Chinese General Ji Shengde.

Johnny Chung testified before Congress that in the summer of 1996, Ji Shengde told Chung, “We really like your president. We hope he will get reelected.… I will give you 300,000 U.S. dollars. You can give it to… your president and Democrat Party.”

Chung used most of that money to pay for his business expenses and sent the remaining $35,000 to the Democratic National Committee. Shortly after Chung’s testimony, Ji Shengde was reassigned from the head of Chinese military intelligence to the Academy of Military Science. In the United States, that would be the equivalent of the head of the NSA being reassigned to teach political science at a university.

Beyond the $35,000 from the Chinese government, the DNC was forced to return all of the money that Chung had donated to them ($366,000).

There is no way that this money could have been authorized without the full knowledge of the Chinese government. Liu Chaoying was the daughter of General Liu Huaqing (1916-2011). In China, the sons and daughters of important government officials are known as taizidang or princelings. They use their connections to allow businessmen access to China. They would never risk their family’s privileged status especially when there are many other profitable deals with less political risk.

At the time Liu Chaoying was giving money to Johnny Chung, her father was serving as the Vice Chairman of China’s Central Military Commission. General Liu was a dedicated communist. He participated in the Long March with Mao. He would later be regarded as the “father of the modern Chinese Navy.”

In 1982-1987, he was the commander of the People’s Liberation Army Navy. From 1992 to 1997, he was on the Politburo Standing Committee as well as the Vice Chairman of the China’s Central Military Commission.

Last month, Chinese President Xi Jinping honored General Liu’s accomplishments in honor of his 100th birthday. In his obituary (he died in 2011 at 94), the New York Times mentioned General Liu’s accomplishments in modernizing the Chinese Navy, but did not mention his daughter’s role in transferring money to the Democratic National Committee.

Johnny Chung first met the Clintons in 1992. From 1994 to 1996, Chung visited the White House 49 times. Nearly half of those visits were authorized by the office of the First Lady. In one visit, Hillary met with Chung and his visiting delegation of Chinese businessmen from state-run companies.

In one visit, Chung paid the DNC $50,000. In exchange, Chung was allowed to bring some of his investors to see the president deliver one of his radio addresses.

John Huang, Mochtar Riady, and James Riady

In 1996, John Huang would raise $3.4 million for the Democratic Party. More than half of this money was returned because some of these donations were foreign.

In 1980, John Huang met Mochtar Riady at an event in Little Rock, Arkansas. The featured speaker was then-Governor Bill Clinton. Riady’s son, James, would later hire Huang at one of his companies. At the same time, Huang would serve as a fundraiser for Clinton’s 1992 campaign. He became an expert in fundraising among different Asian-American communities.

Granted, jail time for any corrupt politician and/or for their flunkies is America Win. But for the sake of making this point, let us please pretend we can make a distinction between them, putting jail on one side, other America Wins on the other.

I was at work, late 1990s, when news circulated that Clinton lied about sexual relations with 'that woman'. We dismayed among ourselves, I cringed, and feared for America. It was a time of cellular telephones, often called car-phones because of battery needs. Most of us did not need them and could not afford them. The internet was still a toy to the few of us who played on it. Another year or two primitive hand-held, 'cell phones' would make big inroads into daily life. Social media was not even on horizon. Most news came over the radio and TV. 

I cringed because I could only envision long downward spiral for America because of the cavalier attitude to lying, of the country, not just Clinton.. Years would turn into decades of lies mounding, things getting worse, my feel for time. History has validated my anticipated dread. 8 years of Barry lies was only worsened by going onto 4 years of his shadowy swamp dynasty. Bush was no picnic, no boy scout, looking back, just a different sort of betrayal, long on frustrations finally concluding in financial lunacy. Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine/Impeach45, the CP/Dem Virus complicated by riots no American street deserves… no people earn or deserve the calamity getting shoved down our throats by the worse villainous scum this planet has ever produced. Much jail time and even more severe punishment hardly seems adequate.

Shall I go back to Kennedy murdered, Warren Report, Vietnam, Kent State 4, days that never satisfied though flooded by 'peace' and 'luv'. We have long witnessed injustice, slump, decline. There is little I would like to see more than somebody, big name politico, arrested, cuffed, jailed. 

I say this with long, heart broken perspective, much contemplation, great love and devotion for this American people. Please, make it a priority to discover and celebrate the good in these perplexing days. Looking finds an extraordinary array.

The "Ammonium Nitrate" story from Beirut is clearly a bullshit cover story. Also, Ammonium Nitrate, or the diesel mix version, don't just go off when there's a fire, it's really stable for a high explosive compound… and it lacks BRISANCE, the ability to shatter steel due via high blast velocity (these are reasons why the military doesn't use the shit - low power to weight, doesn't shatter steel, hard to set off… We trust farmers and rock blasting companies with tons of the stuff, FFS.

‘Boxed Into a Corner,’ Residents Brace for Thousands to Attend Motorcycle Rally

For most of the year, Sturgis, S.D., is a relatively quiet city of 7,000 residents tucked beside a 1.2 million-acre forest, with a motorcycle museum as its signature attraction. But each summer, Sturgis transforms as bikers descend for a massive motorcycle rally.

This year’s festival may attract about 250,000 people despite an uptick in coronavirus cases across the state, city officials say, leading to fears it could become a super-spreader event.

When the virus upended life across America in the spring, it forced the cancellation of graduation ceremonies, music festivals, marathons and other large gatherings. Sturgis, which has hosted the rally since 1938, pushed ahead with its plans anyway.

The 10-day rally, which begins Friday, may be the country’s largest public gathering since the pandemic began, and it comes amid widespread opposition. More than 60 percent of residents favored postponing the event, according to a city-sponsored survey.
