As the Senior Director for Counterterrorism on the National Security Staff, @Kash_Patel was lead for the President on all hostage recovery matters. The same document that formed the HRFC, tasks the Senior Director with providing oversight of the whole of government hostage recovery efforts. There is no foul here in Kash’s actions.

Trump signed a settlement agreement requiring Meta to pay $25 million over his 2021 account suspension.

 

$22 million will go toward Trump’s presidential library, with the rest covering legal fees and other plaintiffs.

Trump issues executive order prioritizing federal funding for school choice programs

 

President Trump on Wednesday issued an executive order that prioritizes and frees up federal funding for school choice programs, directing the Secretaries of Education and Labor to "review their respective discretionary grant programs and each submit a plan" within 90 days on how to expand school choice.

The executive order also directs the secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth, to submit a plan to Mr. Trump for how military families can use Defense Department funds to send their kids to the school of their choosing.

 

More broadly, it directs the Department of Education to prioritize school choice programs through its discretionary grant programs, and orders the Department of Health and Human Services to issue guidance on how states receiving block grants for families and children can use those funds to support private and faith-based institutions.

Mr. Trump's new executive action comes as the 2024 National Assessment of Education Progress shows that 40% of 4th graders did not meet basic reading levels, the highest percentage ever recorded.

he data, released Wednesday at midnight, also shows 4th and 8th grade average reading scores have continued a downward trend, each down two points from 2022. According to the NAEP, 70% of 8th graders weren't proficient in reading and 72% weren't proficient in math.

 

"Every child deserves the best education available, regardless of their zip code," the White House document reads. "However, for generations, our government-assigned education system has failed millions of parents, students and teachers. This executive order begins to rectify that wrong by opening up opportunities for students to attend the school that best fits their needs."

These leeches are now organizing conservative forums in Kyiv! These leftistsm are enemies of the Ukrainian people and will do anything to avoid having to join the private sector (like their American counterparts; the Sorosyats would even embrace Moscow if they were desperate for money). Rostislav explores Judge Semen Stetsenko’s Wikipedia history (some of it was erased, but can be found the archives). The Supreme Court of Ukraine convenientlydoes not have a copy of the judge’s passport or documentsof his oath of allegianceto Moscow.

Pavlo says that Putin needs the war (but so do the Ukrainian elite). I watch these kinds of videos daily. For me this is normal. Chinese Communist Party Quietly Operates Shadow Justice System In US Cities

 

China is imposing its justice system on American soil using a web of U.S.-based nonprofits linked to a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intelligence agency, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation found.

 

Located throughout California, the greater Washington, D.C. area, Hawaii, and New York, the network of more than a dozen nonprofits share information with Chinese law enforcement officials, and some also host unsanctioned courtrooms in the U.S., a months-long investigation discovered. Although the Chinese government claims it appoints law enforcement officials overseas in order to more conveniently handle mundane matters like Chinese driver’s license renewal and international divorce cases, U.S. lawmakers and intelligence analysts say China’s underground courts could easily be weaponized to punish dissidents and expand communist influence abroad.

 

Liu Pengyu, a Chinese Embassy spokesperson, told the DCNF that “Chinese law enforcement agencies conduct foreign law enforcement cooperation strictly in accordance with international law, fully respect foreign laws and judicial sovereignty, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of criminal suspects in accordance with the law.”

 

However, the DCNF found that not only are all the identified nonprofits led by individuals working with a Chinese intelligence service called the United Front Work Department (UFWD), but some of their leaders have also explicitly discussed forced repatriation operations with Ministry of Public Security (MPS) officials in China. Furthermore, several of the individuals appointed to operate overseas Chinese courts in the U.S. also belong to the nonprofit that ran a Chinese police station in New York, which the Department of Justice (DOJ) found sought to forcibly repatriate individuals back to China.

 

“The Chinese government’s attempt to impose its repressive legal system on U.S. soil through the CCP’s United Front network is an unacceptable assault on U.S. sovereignty and the rule of law,” Michigan Republican Rep. John Moolenaar told the DCNF.

 

“These actions jeopardize the safety and freedoms of Chinese Americans and undermine the principles of justice that define our nation,” said Moolenaar, chairman of the House Select Committee on the CCP. “Congress and law enforcement must remain vigilant, hold those involved accountable, and impose costs on the CCP’s illicit United Front activities within the United States.”

 

‘Foot Soldiers’

Chinese law enforcement agencies tapped at least eight U.S. nonprofit leaders to serve as “overseas mediators” and “hearing officers” for underground courts on American soil, according to Chinese state media and government reports.

 

Overseas mediators and hearing officers remotely notarize and serve legal documents, provide a physical space to host video calls for mediation and litigation and advocate on behalf of overseas compatriots, Chinese government and state-run media reports show.

 

A November 2022 UFWD announcement showcased the Xinhui District court in Jiangmen, Guangdong province and its “Overseas Dispute Mediation Station.” The announcement identified the chairman of the San Francisco, California-based World Youth Congress of Jiangmen as one of the court’s “overseas mediators” and highlighted his role in settling an international divorce case through video call.

 

The Xinhui branch of China’s organ for legal supervision, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, likewise appointed the chairman of the San Francisco-based Kong Chow Benevolent Association as a “hearing officer” connected to its “Overseas Chinese Inspection Liaison Station” in 2022, according to the Chinese government.

 

The DCNF has not been able to determine if these entities have adjudicated criminal cases. Under Chinese law, most dissident speech is a criminal matter.

 

Zhejiang and Fujian provincial law enforcement have also established U.S. hubs.

⚖️Report to DoD and FBI Officials.

 

Gen Mark Milley may have received a pardon, but his subordinate and legal counsel, Admiral Christopher French did not.

 

This morning at 1134, I submitted, to both the FBI and DoD leadership, evidence of crimes committed by Admiral Chris French and a coverup by Admiral Darse Crandall. I was provided this information by a whistleblower. Under military regulations I have a duty to report this information and have fulfilled that duty.

 

Since the initial contact by the whistleblower, a small group of Constitution-defending officers and I vetted what was provided and confirmed the whistleblower’s story through other whistleblowers and with physical evidence.

 

Everything we have collected indicates that Admiral French’s violations may go back many years and may involve larger official cover ups by Navy leadership and the the DOJ under earlier administrations.

 

For example, Admiral Chris French who was the 7th Fleet JAG from June 2009- June 2011, allegedly admitted to being involved in the Fat Leonard Corruption case but that he “got away with it.”

 

As the 7th Fleet JAG he had a duty to report all potential violations of ethics and law while ensuring no impropriety was happening under 7th Fleet jurisdiction. Instead, according to the whistleblower, he participated in the dinners and events put on by Fat Lenard, justifying his actions by saying things like “after the dinners when everyone else went to the strip clubs, I would go back to the ship.”

 

To protect the whistleblower, I will not go into the details of his more recent crimes. However we have verified the story with physical evidence and there is an audio recording that has been turned over to law enforcement.

 

A report of all this was made 2 years ago to Vice Admiral Darse Crandall, the Navy’s JAG at the time (and VADM French’s supervisor). VADM Crandall apparently covered up these crimes and made sure that French was able to pick up his third star and relieve him [Crandall] as the Navy’s JAG.

 

Bear in mind that these two men, while committing and covering up actual crimes of their own, were actively (and apparently gleefully) chasing out of the Navy conscientious sailors who refused to take an experimental shot.

 

A full investigation of the allegations against Admiral French and Admiral Crandall must be made. It must also be determined if Admiral French was materially involved in the numerous apparent criminal acts committed by various other government officials including General Mark Milley.

 

I have committed to protecting this whistleblower and will no longer speak about the past alleged crimes or actions of Admiral French or Admiral Crandall. If any of you have questions about Admiral French, Admiral Crandall, or this case, you must direct those questions to the DOJ or to leaders within the DoD.

 

I will, however, continue calling for accountability and intend to use my First Amendment rights to see that Justice is done for all those that Admiral French and Admiral Crandall harmed.

 

We will purge corruption from our government one compromised individual at a time. We will have Justice once again.

Justice Department drops classified documents case against Trump co-defendants

 

The Justice Department on Wednesday moved to drop its appeal of a federal court order dismissing the criminal charges against President Donald Trump's former co-defendants in the classified documents case, which would effectively end the case.

Then-U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland had cited the pending appeal as the reason why he would not publicly release special counsel Jack Smith's report on the criminal case he'd brought against Trump, saying it could impact the due process rights of the co-defendants, Walt Nauta and Carlos De Oliveira.

In a separate move Wednesday, the new acting U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C., moved to dismiss a case against another Trump ally, former Republican Rep. Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska.

O’Byrne's filing asks the circuit court to dismiss the DOJ's appeal "with prejudice," which means it could not be revived again at a later date. His office was assigned the case after Smith resigned earlier this month.

The filing notes that Nauta and De Oliveira "do not object to the voluntary dismissal." The appeals court needs to approve of the Justice Department's move for its appeal to officially be dropped.
