On Monday, Elon Musk’s DOGE revealed the federal government didn’t trace $4.7 trillion in payments.

 

$4.7 trillion dollars in payments were left blank, making it nearly impossible to trace, DOGE said.

 

“The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process),” DOGE explained in a post on X.

 

“In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going. Thanks to US Treasury for the great work,” DOGE said.

As the Gateway pundit has previously reported, the concept of Greater Idaho is an effort by some parts of the state of Oregon to secede and become part of the state of Idaho.

 

The reason people are pushing for this is because the eastern part of Oregon is conservative and the folks who live there are tired of having to live under progressive rule from people in the western part of the state and the far left city of Portland.

 

The movement has made slow progress with mostly small moves, but it just took a bigger step towards becoming real.

 

There are lots of reasons why people on the left don’t want this to happen, but one of the main ones is the precedent it would set. If this was successful, you better believe other states would follow by making similar moves.

President Donald Trump on Monday shared a poll that showed Republican Florida Rep. Byron Donalds holding a large lead over fellow potential GOP contenders in a hypothetical primary for Florida governor.

The survey was conducted by Victory Polling, and showed Donalds leading with 31% of the vote, followed by Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nuñez 4%, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson at 3%, and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez at 1%.

The post also claimed that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, and billionaire Steve Witkoff have also committed to supporting Donalds.

None of the candidates have formally declared a bid to replace Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is term limited, but Donalds has reportedly told Florida Republican donors that he plans on launching a bid.

Donalds is also a staunch ally of the president's, who Trump indicated during his inaugural parade last month has a bright "future," The Hill reported.

Simpson and Nuñez have also been floated as potential candidates for Florida governor in 2026.

In many countries, the old analog TV bands are being repurposed to allow for the 5G service to be used there. I guess you could call me a phone-fag as I have many years experience in the field and, no, none of my colleagues has died from cancer due to exposure to cellular radio frequencies. We've been exposed to them and use them daily since the digital era's inception in 1993. Yes, that is before the official launch in many countries. If you are rolling the service out, you get early access.

I had never met this woman before, so I wasn’t quite sure what she could have ever intended to apologize to me for….

She continued by saying, that she had seen my transformation over the past two years (Before and After pics below), and she said that she had also finally heard my conversion story recently, and that when she did, she had felt so sad when she finally realized how I ended up at the parish that very first day on March 19, 2023 when she saw me for the first time. She said, she was there that day, and she remembers it vividly. For those who don’t know, this was the day of my miraculous conversion to Christ.

She said that she felt sad, because when she first saw me at the Mass that day, that I had horrified her… she had just came from a previous parish that was deeply liberal and her and her husband had just found a home at the TLM… she said that when she saw me for the first time, she thought that the liberalism was going to ruin the TLM parish too, and she was deeply afraid that me being there was evidence of the evil that was spreading.

She even told me how she made a big scene of it to her husband afterwards and just couldn’t let it go. She said that she recalls me just sitting and staring deeply into the red candle, and she said my stare was so intense that she was convinced that I was stoned on drugs or something (that part made me chuckle a bit…)

She said that when she had finally heard my testimony, and my explanation for why I was staring so deeply into the flame of this candle, that she felt deeply ashamed for how she reacted towards me.

For those who don’t know, I was deeply afraid to be at the parish that day. But I felt an insatiable call, through praying the rosary, to attend a Mass… I wanted to run out the door the second I got there, because I felt so out of place…. But then my eyes caught the gaze of this red candle, and it captivated me. I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. All I could hear internally was, “Keep looking at Me,” and that was the candle. I couldn’t take my gaze off of it. It’s the only thing that kept me there. A few moments later, Christ would reveal Himself to me for the first time, and this encounter with Christ at the Mass would change the course of my life forever.

She said that when she heard my story, she felt horrible for judging me so incorrectly. She had accused me of being on drugs, when really she had no clue that I was actually having the most intensely profound experience of my life, with Our Lord. So intense that it would change me forever.

She asked for my forgiveness, and told me that she only now realizes that she was not being a very good Catholic, and that her reaction to my presence there was not ok. She said, that had she been more gracious towards me, she would have seen much sooner that I was there, because I was looking for God. I was not there with the desire to change God, but rather I was there with the desire for God to change ME.

To be honest though, I completely understood her fear. I don’t feel offended for her going through this experience at all…. Honestly, I think it’s quite beautiful that I got to share this full circle experience with her. Once again, the evidence of the Glory of God and how He continues to work in and through all of us, is deeply humbling.

Thank you Jesus, Mary, and Joseph for bringing me home. My only regret in life is that I didn’t know Christ sooner.

ANON lives near one of these legs. This isn't a "land grab" in my area. I did a lot of research on this starting back from 2009, which is when the legislation started to change and the electric transmission line people started pitching their proposals to local governments.

 

Interestingly, when I dug back prior to 2009, key people that worked in local government, at the administrative levels and as heirs to large chunks of ranchland, re-positioned themselves in terms of where they worked. One admin went to work for one of the transmission lines as the negotiator/facilitator between the transm line company and local governments. Another (heir) moved from one local gov't to another to be in a position to be on the "inside" related to paper flow and decisions. Others that had moved away a long time ago, came back. Millions are at stake.

 

They STUPIDY even put in some of the original documents that the children of the aging ranchers didn't want to work the cattle ranches and this was a way for the children (heirs) to cash out". And of course local gov't gets a boost in revenue.

 

I started looking at property ownership — whoa. In 2009, guess what also started to happen. Linked corporations and individuals started buying up land that nobody in their right mind would own (major flood zones) etc. (except for a rancher since the cattle simply walk somewhere else to eat when it is flooded). Keep connecting the dots, and the threads actually came back to oil interests.

 

Then overlay additional proposed routes (that are in the process of or already being developed) and others that are not on this map, and whallah… sho' nuff'… the proposed routes go directly to where the large tracts of land were bought out back in 2009 time frame.

 

Other tracts are positioned to take advantage of wind in areas that were not possible in 2009, but with the newer wind generators will work. This land was bought up by one individual. Didn't think too much about it at first, until the pattern of distancing between each tract became clearer, and cross-references to the distance needed between each wind generator. This SCREWS the small property owners in between. Who wants to build a residence in between 4 wind generators?

 

Anyone doing research in these corridors needs to track down the private property owners in those corridors, and all family members and find out which ones are working in local, county, state government positions, and using their inside positions to enrich themselves.

Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev and investment firm executives testified before the House Financial Services Committee on GameStop's rapid stock price increase and Robinhood's decision to halt customers buying these stocks on the platform. In his opening testimony, Mr. Tenev told lawmakers Robinhood imposed temporary trading restrictions to meet increased regulatory deposit requirements. "We don't answer to hedge funds. From the Dan O’Donnell Show "In 2017, Bloomberg opened the State Energy and Environmental Impact Center at New York University's Law School and offered state Attorneys General "free" left-wing lawyers to work in their offices and pursue climate change litigation. An ethics complaint against Kaul reveals: [see images]

 

Bloomberg's group realized how much this looked like a bribe to these Attorneys General and scrubbed any mention of the political nature of this litigation, but it hasn't changed its modus operandi at all.

 

Wisconsin law makes it a felony to accept "any property or any personal advantage" that a public officer is not allowed to receive "pursuant to an understanding that the officer or employee will act in a certain manner."

 

As the ethics complaint notes, the "free" attorneys offered to Kaul were offered only on the condition that they file or join climate change lawsuits on behalf of the State of Wisconsin.

 

That's exactly what they did…almost immediately after joining Kaul's Wisconsin Department of Justice. One attorney was hired in January 2024 and within a month had entered Wisconsin into a lawsuit defending EPA climate regulations.

 

Just a few weeks ago, Kaul's DOJ entered into another multistate lawsuit over EPA rules governing lead and copper rules and drinking water standards.

 

As the complaint concludes: "Kaul has done exactly what the law forbids, accepting the services of a privately funded attorney..the provision of whom reasonably can be expected to cause Kaul and his office to pursue the kind of litigation desired by the funder."

 

So did Kaul accept a bribe of two "free" attorneys to help lighten his workload and generate positive headlines by filing and joining climate change lawsuits Michael Bloomberg demanded? Again, it sure looks like it." reporting by Dan O'Donnell.

 

Remember we caught Josh Kaul criminally laundering money into his campaigns - that fight is still ongoing. Kaul is a Hillary Clinton attorney who worked for Perkins Coie.

 

We also caught Josh Kaul filing false pleadings to Wisconsin and also federal courts (7th Circuit) promoting the faux Russian collusion story against President Trump. Kaul did this in the two Jill Stein cases back in 2016 and 2019. I can tell you, Trump has NOT forgotten this. 😎

The Department of Government Efficiency has begun its audit of the United States Treasury and the level of institutionalized corruption is staggering: $4.7 TRILLION.

 

In the Treasury computer payment system, there is a field called the Treasury Access Symbol (TAS). It is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process).

 

In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often… left blank, making traceability almost impossible.

 

As a result of this field being left blank, a Treasury person could go into the computer, have it issue a check or Wire Transfer for almost any amount, payable to literally anyone, anywhere, or anything - or nothing - and there is no way to trace the budget item or agency that is supposed to authorize and pay for it.

 

Just one HUGE pile of money going wherever they tell it to go, with no way to trace why.

 

Trillions of dollars in taxpayer money went into a federal government black hole!

How to bake a healthy bread

 

500 grams spelt flour

1 spoon (or 5 grams) sodium bicarbonate

6 spoons apple vinegar

300 ml water

 

Heat oven to 200 °C.

Mix 1/3 of the flour with the soda in a bowl.

Mix rest of flour with the water and the vinegar in a seperate bigger bowl.

Add slowly soda-flour mix while mixing until you get a smooth dough.

Put the mix into a baking pan with baking paper. Put in oven.

Wait 10 min, then lower temperature to 150 °C. Wait another 40 to 45 min.

Take out, let cool down.

I live in the 200 mile border zone.

 

In 2009, there was a guy who was in the planning department that I wound up having to call, and it should have been a yes/no answer to a question. Suddenly, he starts going on and on and shares his "vision" - not knowing that I had read the Agenda 21 stuff. I started taking notes and let him talk and talk, and even complimented him on his vision so he'd reveal even more.

 

What he didn't know, is that I also knew the county was interviewing for a new county manager. And the pitch he was making would county manager level stuff. I also knew the existing commissioners, once educated about some of his statements, would not hire him. I went public, exposed him, and wouldn't you know it, he left employment and went who knows where to push Agenda 21 somewhere else.

 

The sweet part? Having a commissioner say, "over my dead body" once he heard what Agenda 21 was and this guy's plan for the county. Of course, the commissioner was acting in his own self-interests, because it would have put him out of business….. as well as portions of his family.

As someone who fought in the bureaucratic trench wars of the first Trump administration, I was a surprised as anyone by the stunning rapidity of DOGE leader Elon Musk’s blitzkrieg into the heart of the federal bureaucracy. Within a matter of days, President Donald Trump seized control of a federal bureaucracy that he had never brought fully under control during his first term.

 

A slower, more deliberate approach could have averted lawsuits and reduced collateral damage to the parts of the bureaucracy worth keeping. Yet the experiences of the first Trump administration gave Trump and DOGE good reason to believe that such an approach would bog down.

 

One of the chief lessons Trump learned from his first administration was that senior career bureaucrats, left to their own devices, were willing and able to sabotage him. The most disturbing insubordination was the Crossfire Hurricane scandal and the ensuing Mueller probe or investigation into Russian collusion, the crimes of which would today be considered comparable to Watergate if the mainstream media gave them due attention.

 

Prior to Trump’s election in 2016, senior FBI official Peter Strzok and FBI Director James Comey authorized spying on Trump campaign officials, some of which they justified through inaccurate FISA applications and bogus information in the Steele dossier.

 

Once Trump was elected, FBI bureaucrats like Kevin Clinesmith and Brian Auten and Justice Department lawyers like Bruce Ohr and Dana Boente kept the espionage going through additional acts of duplicity.

 

The weaponization of the government against Trump and his supporters extended into federal agencies. The Defense Department abused the security clearance system to oust Adam Lovinger after he identified the misuse of government funds to entrap Trump associates.

 

At USAID, career bureaucrats employed similar tactics against me because I had reported several of them for corruption. The agency’s security director, ethics attorney and inspector general — the people who were supposed to safeguard ethics — took part in the moral turpitude.

 

During his first term, Trump also learned that federal bureaucrats were intent on slow rolling or completely obstructing his policies. Dr. Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, surreptitiously orchestrated a March 2020 report dismissing the Wuhan lab leak theory, which he then used to undercut White House efforts to hold the Chinese government accountable for the deadly catastrophe.

 

Career lawyers at the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights division impaired the division’s investigations and prosecutions by refusing to work on matters such as affirmative action, religious liberty and biological males in women’s sports. USAID bureaucrats deliberately concealed the agency’s humanitarian programs in Syria because they feared Trump would terminate the programs if he learned about them.

 

Prior to serving in the first Trump administration and learning about Crossfire Hurricane, I would not have believed that senior career bureaucrats would systematically subvert the White House and its policies. While there might be a bad apple here or there, it seemed implausible that substantial numbers of senior officials would have both the audacity and the authority to act.

Experience led me, along with Trump and many other Republicans, to conclude that subversion was widespread, and hence subversives needed to be removed from the federal bureaucracies henceforth. Late January, perhaps not coincidentally, USAID became the first agency where large numbers of senior bureaucrats were sidelined for resisting White House policies.

 

While those unfamiliar with the nation’s past may depict the Trump offensive as a radical break with tradition, fierce resistance to bureaucracy dates back to the nation’s founding. In 1776, Americans voiced a deep suspicion of government bureaucrats and cited it as a reason for breaking from Britain. The Declaration of Independence asserted that Britain had "erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance."

 

Presidents of both right and left have at various times belittled the federal bureaucracy and demanded its reduction in size and power. President Andrew Jackson restricted government employment to four years because with lengthier service men were "apt to acquire a habit of looking with indifference upon the public interests." President Bill Clinton cut the federal civilian work force by 427,000 during his two terms in office.

 

While the federal bureaucracy is bloated and should be shrunk, it cannot be eliminated. As the founders of this nation recognized, sinful human nature necessitates the existence of a government for certain purposes, such as enforcing the law, protecting against foreign enemies, and regulating commerce.

 

And as long as we have government, we need bureaucrats. Some bureaucrats need to be retained from one administration to the next to ensure that some people know how to keep the machines running. Congress should act, however, to make the firing of underperforming or insubordinate employees much easier than it is today.

 

The experience of the first Trump administration also showed that reining in the bureaucracy requires improving not only in bureaucrats but also the presidential appointees who serve in the agencies. By law, career bureaucrats are required to follow the directions of political appointees, and most of the ones I encountered did so.

 

Thus, political appointees who are competent, ethical and committed to the administration’s principles can steer the ship in the right direction once the subversive bureaucrats and excess baggage have been offloaded.

 

One reason why bureaucrats got away with so much during Trump’s first term was that too many political appointees lacked the desire or the courage to confront them. The first Trump administration came to power without a reservoir of such people from which to draw.

 

For this reason, Trump and those around him spent the last several years screening individuals for these jobs. Some of his picks have provoked controversy, even among his allies, but thus far the new team appears capable of taming a bureaucracy that was never brought to heel the last time around.

Good! Successful US-Russia Talks Conclude After 4 Hours

 

The day of a high-level and much anticipated US-Russia meeting toward achieving the end of the war in Ukraine was held in Saudi Arabia, hailed by Yuri Ushakov, Putin’s foreign policy adviser, as successful after about four-hours-and-a-half hours of talks.

 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov led the Russian delegation meeting US officials, including Rubio and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz.

 

Both sides have said they are looking forward to the meeting paving a way for a near-future bilateral summit between Presidents Trump and Putin.

 

Secretary Rubio issued a statement in the wake of the meeting, which most interestingly included an agreement for election to be held in Ukraine, which Zelensky certainly isn't going to like (and probably won't agree to), given also he just recently argued that martial law prevents this. According to what was agreed to based on Rubio's readout:

 

Two sides agree to broadly to pursue three goals: allowing back staffing at their embassies in Washington and Moscow and to establish respective high-level teams to support Ukraine peace talks. And three: Explore closer restored relations and economic cooperation between the US and Russia.

 

Rubio stressed that any agreement must be acceptable to the US, Russia and Ukraine.

 

The plan has three stages: a ceasefire, elections in Ukraine and signing a final agreement, according to Fox reporter Jacqui Heinrich on Twitter X.

 

Lavrov has said: We have agreed that a mechanism for a settlement of the Ukraine conflict will be formed in the near future, and ambassadors will be appointed ASAP to lead these efforts.

 

Pushing back against critics, Rubio emphasized that Ukraine has not been sidelined, though Zelensky nor any Kiev representative was invited to the talks in Riyadh. "He’s the only leader in the world that could have started this process here today," he said.

 

They also agreed to “address irritants” in US-Russia relations to restore the work of their diplomatic missions, and to “lay the groundwork for future cooperation on matters of mutual geopolitical interest” once the war ends, State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said.

 

Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov said they discussed a summit between Trump and Putin but it was unlikely to take place next week. “It’s hard to say yet that we’re getting closer, but there was a conversation,” Ushakov said of the US and Russian positions after the meeting, according to the state-run Tass news agency. Ushakov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov represented the Kremlin at the talks that included White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

 

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan was also present. Trump is determined to “move very quickly” on securing a permanent settlement in Ukraine, Waltz said in a briefing by the US side. Rubio said he was convinced Russia’s willing to engage “in a serious process” on Ukraine, while Witkoff called the meeting a “very, very solid session.”

 

Complaining about lack of EU representation, Ursula von der Leyen has claimed Europe has contributed more "financially and militarily" to Ukraine than anyone else.
