Age verification is a gateway to a total surveillance state with mandatory digital ID.

Texas has joined a multi-state crusade to enforce digital identification in America—marketed as a way to "protect children." The other states include Louisiana, Kentucky, and Florida, with Oklahoma conducting a related investigation. Parents are being eradicated and their responsibilities are being relinquished to the government and internet companies.

Attorney General Ken Paxton's lawsuit accuses Roblox of letting predators exploit children while misleading parents about safety. But Paxton's solution is not to focus on Roblox to repair the problem, but to implement a system to track and monitor people, punishing the innocent.

Texas SB2420, known as the App Store Accountability Act, requires app stores to verify the age of users and obtain parental consent for those under 18. This law aims to enhance protections for minors using mobile applications and is set to take effect on January 1, 2026.

Texas has joined a multi-state crusade to enforce digital identification in America—marketed as a way to "protect children."

Yet privacy experts say the real goal isn't child protection—it's control.

Roblox insists its new "age estimation" system improves safety, but it relies on biometric and government data—creating the foundation for permanent digital tracking. With Texas now the fifth state to join the campaign, one question remains: how long before "protecting kids" becomes the excuse to monitor everyone?

Former Federal Reserve Board Gov. Adriana Kugler violated stock trading rules, according to a report by the U.S. Government Ethics Office released Saturday.

The report follows Kugler's resignation in August, CNBC reported. Kugler was appointed by former President Biden in 2023, and her term was originally supposed to end in January.

Kugler filed a financial disclosure report on Sept. 11, which shows securities transactions, but the report notes on Oct. 10 that Ethics Office officials declined to certify it.

An Ethics official's note on the disclosure says that “matters related to this disclosure were referred earlier this year” by the office to the Office of Inspector General for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
