James Comey’s documented meeting with brother Peter Comey at his home during the Hillary Clinton investigation is coming under scrutiny now in the nation’s capital. Peter Comey’s firm DLA Piper performed the independent audit of the Clinton Foundation during the investigation, which helped the Foundation avoid criminal charges from the FBI.

Peter Comey works at the Washington law firm DLA Piper, serving as “Senior Director of Real Estate Operations for the Americas.”

Shortly before the election, my source called up DLA Piper’s offices in Chinatown and confirmed that the law firm immediately patches callers through to Peter Comey’s direct line there.

Property records show that James Comey owns the mortgage on his brother Peter Comey’s house in Virginia. Therefore, James Comey had a direct financial relationship with a DLA Piper executive at the time he was investigating Clinton.

James Comey met with his brother Peter Comey at his residence during the Hillary Clinton email investigation, according to an FBI security officer senior enough to receive classified security briefings.

Big League Politics has learned that James Comey’s communications with his brother could disqualify him as a witness in any investigations that he has been involved in, due to conflict of interest.

Peter Comey has held his title at DLA Piper since June 2011, after the Obama administration expressed interest in the career of James Comey. Peter Comey also works as a real estate consultant for Procon Consulting, a firm that won the contract to re-design FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Russian Embassy Slams UK Jets Escorting Russian Aircraft in Black Sea

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The UK Royal Air Forces escorting Russian military aircraft in the Black Sea is a provocative action, which undermines regional security, the Russian Embassy to the United Kingdom said late on Saturday.

On Thursday, RAF said that its fighter jets “interrupted” a Russian aircraft which was allegedly on its way towards NATO airspace in the Black Sea.

“This latest episode aptly demonstrates how harmful is the very idea of deploying RAF and other NATO forces in Romania, Poland or Baltic states. Instead of strengthening anyone's security, such military presence is being used by the British authorities for provocative actions of their own — not only through verbal statements, regrettable as they are, but also in real military terms, which is simply dangerous,” the embassy’s spokesperson said at a briefing, while answering question on the UK forces “intercepting” the Russian aircraft.

The Russian forces fully comply with the international law and posed no threat to the United Kingdom, the embassy noted.

“One might understand why Royal Navy escorts Russian military ships in the English Channel, in the vicinity of the British coastline, even if this there is no need for the UK to publicise it. But what kind of threat to Britain or its allies does a Russian patrol aircraft hypothetically pose while conducting flights off Russia's own shore, some 1500 miles away from the UK?” the embassy underlined.

NATO has been significantly increasing its presence in Eastern Europe since the start of the Ukrainian crisis in 2014, using Russia's alleged interference in Ukrainian internal affairs as a pretext. Moscow has denied all accusations.

Moscow has repeatedly voiced its protest over the NATO military buildup, saying that it will only undermine regional stability and result in a new arms race.

Fiery crash with TRE train kills 2 in dump truck and sends 11 passengers to hospital

A fiery collision between a dump truck and a Trinity Railway Express killed two people in the semi Saturday and injured several people on the train, two of them critically.

The crash was reported about noon in the 12500 block of Calloway Cemetery Road in far East Fort Worth, an area between north Arlington and Euless.

The truck was struck by the westbound train and burst into flames, killing two people inside, according to Fort Worth fire spokesman Mike Drivdahl. Their names have not yet been released.

Firefighters from Fort Worth, Euless and Arlington were called to the scene, and several ambulances were dispatched.

Eleven people on the train were hospitalized, including two who were in critical condition and three others with serious but not life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

2 Killed in 14 Shootings Friday Through Saturday Morning in Rahm Emanuel’s Chicago

Fourteen people were shot, two fatally, between Friday and Saturday morning in Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s (D) Chicago.

The Chicago Tribune reports the shootings began around 12:15 p.m. Friday when a man was pistol-whipped and shot inside “a South Austin neighborhood store.” Two suspects had followed him into the store, attacked him, then shot him in the chest.

Roughly two-and-a-half hours later, a 24-year-old was shot, followed by a 20-year-old woman, who was shot in the chest while walking “in the 3100 block of West Madison Street in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.”

A 26-year-old man was shot twice at about 5:40 p.m., and a 34-year-old man was shot shortly before 8 p.m.

The shootings continued throughout Friday night and into Saturday morning, with a male fatally wounded at 8:30 p.m. Friday and a woman fatally wounded at 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

More than 50 were shot in Emanuel’s Chicago last weekend, and six people were killed. This includes the three who were shot and the one assaulted during a “peace picnic” Saturday night.

A three-year-old boy was shot in Chicago on August 17, and Breitbart News reported that at least 33 people were shot in Chicago during the weekend of August 10 through the morning of August 13. More than 70 were shot August 3 through the morning of August 6, and 11 of the victims succumbed to their wounds.

Clinton Foundation officials refiled five years of tax returns Monday after admitting to errors that covered up millions in government grants and foreign donations.

An examination of the charity's tax forms by reporters earlier this year prompted Clinton Foundation officials to undertake an "exhaustive review" of past returns, which uncovered "several additional errors," according to foundation president Donna Shalala.

In 2010, 2011 and 2012, for example, the Clinton Foundation did not list any government grants.

The amended tax form from 2010 included $8.8 million in government grants that was not previously listed.

Overall, the refiled tax returns revealed $20.1 million in government grants that were kept off the original versions of the forms.

The Clinton Foundation audit was performed by DLA Piper, a major donor to the same charity whose tax forms it examined.

According to the foundation's donor records, DLA Piper has given between $50,000 and $100,000 to the charity.

Other aspects of the tax returns were quietly updated to reflect additional, undisclosed contributions.

For example, the new 2011 return revealed $10 million in additional revenue that the Clinton Foundation did not originally report.

Contributions to the Clinton Foundation spiked last year as Hillary Clinton prepared to launch her campaign for president. The charity raked in $20 million more in donations last year than in 2013.

Shalala said the charity decided to refile four years of returns, on top of the 2014 return it filed Monday evening, due to the tax form's role "as a public disclosure document for our friends, supporters, partners, and the general public."
