It is my understanding that the military are not restricted by the same rules of investigation and gathering evidence when it comes to issues of national defense. If they suspect a domestic criminal, traitor working with a foreign agent to cause we the people and our constitution harm (broad definition applies there), they can use whatever means of surveillance technology allows. What they can't do is act independently, send in the MPs and start arresting and convicting people, regardless the evidence and proof.

They can only act through their established chains of command (Joint Chiefs) and through the office of the presidency. Unless they decide to stage a coup, but that would only happen if the executive branch and DOJ were thoroughly corrupted…which it was under Hussein.

California Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell falsely claimed Thursday that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen has information that President Donald Trump had foreknowledge of the Trump Tower meeting with Russians in June 2016.

In an interview with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace, Swalwell appeared to cite a CNN report from July that Cohen was present at a conference when Trump approved the meeting between his son and a group of Russians offering dirt on former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“It is clear that Michael Cohen was not truthful with the House Intelligence Committee, which is all the more reason that we never should have ended our investigation. It now sounds like, listening to Mr. Davis, that Mr. Cohen does have information about what candidate Trump knew about the Russians offering dirt on Hillary Clinton in the meeting they set up at Trump Tower,” said Swalwell, a Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.

The only problem with Swalwell’s claim is that Cohen’s attorney, Lanny Davis, debunked the CNN report Wednesday.

Davis said in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper that the July 27 CNN report was “mixed up” and that Cohen did not know about the Trump Tower meeting before it occurred. Davis also said Cohen did not know whether Trump knew about the meeting.

Zimbabwe’s Opposition Rejects Court Ruling on Incumbent President's Victory

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Nelson Chamisa, the leader of the main opposition coalition in Zimbabwe, rejected the Constitutional Court ruling on Saturday which endorsed incumbent President Emmerson Mnangagwa's victory in the July 30 presidential vote.

"Respecting the decision of the Constitutional Court does not by definition mean accepting, you can respect, but not agree with the Constitutional Court and I respectfully disagree and reject the [court’s] position," Chamisa said at a press conference.

The opposition leader noted that confirming the legitimacy of the vote is not a duty of the Constitutional Court and added that the Zimbabweans have the right to “scrutinize” the court’s decision.

Chamisa added that the opposition plans to launch peaceful protests among other measures in order to achieve results.

On Friday, the court confirmed that Mnangagwa had been duly re-elected. The legal process was initiated by the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Alliance, which claimed that it had sufficient evidence to void the results over election irregularities.

The MDC Alliance secured 64 out of 210 seats in the National Assembly, while its candidate Chamisa came second in the presidential race with 44.3 percent of the vote. The ruling Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) secured an absolute majority in the National Assembly with 144 seats while its candidate, Mnangagwa, was named the country's president.

The US State Department called on Zimbabwe’s opposition on Friday to accept vote outcome and respect the court’s decision.

Strong Earthquake Rocks Alaska - USGS

An earthquake of 6.0 magnitude occurred not far from the coast of the US state of Alaska, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

The shocks were registered at 4.50 UTC with the epicenter located 22 kilometers (13 miles) southeast of the island of Amukta. The center was located at a depth of 35.1 kilometers (21.8 miles).

Trump Goes After ‘Fake News Media’ Over ‘Phony’ Trump Tower Story

President Donald Trump on Saturday went after the “fake news media” for running with a “phony story” in July that alleged he had prior knowledge of his son’s meeting with a group of Russians at Trump Tower during the 2016 campaign.

Trump cited comments made this week by Lanny Davis, the Clinton-connected lawyer representing Michael Cohen, the former Trump fixer who pleaded guilty on Tuesday to tax evasion, bank fraud and making excessive campaign contributions.

“Michaels Cohen’s attorney clarified the record, saying his client does not know if President Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting (out of which came nothing!),” Trump tweeted. “The answer is that I did NOT know about the meeting. Just another phony story by the Fake News Media!”

In an interview on Wednesday, Davis disputed a July 27 report from CNN that Cohen was prepared to tell Special Counsel Robert Mueller that Trump knew about the June 9, 2016, Trump Tower meeting before it occurred.

According to CNN reporters Jim Sciutto, Carl Bernstein and Marshall Cohen, Michael Cohen was present at a meeting with Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr., where the Trump Tower conclave was discussed. CNN’s source said that Trump approved the meeting.

According to CNN’s anonymous sources, Cohen claimed that Trump approved his son taking part in the meeting.

CNN touted the story for days on its airwaves. Democrats and Trump critics seized on the story, noting that Trump and Trump Jr. have publicly claimed that Trump did not know about the meeting until it was reported in the press in July 2017.

But in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Davis said that the initial story got “mixed up” and was inaccurate.

“So Michael Cohen does not have information that President Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting with the Russians beforehand or even after?” Cooper asked Davis.

“No, he does not,” replied Davis.

“Well, I think the reporting of the story got mixed up in the course of a criminal investigation. We were not the source of the story. And the question of a criminal investigation, the advice we were given, those of us dealing with the media is that we could not do anything other than stay silent,” he added.

CNN has not corrected its July 27 story and has not addressed its blunder on air.

Feds Scramble after Las Vegas Shooter’s Girlfriend Lists FBI as Place of Employment on Loan Application; ‘She Might have Been an Asset’

Marilou Danley, the girlfriend of Las Vegas mass shooter Stephen Paddock, worked for the FBI, according to credit application data the Australian national reported as part of a loan application.

That’s the same Danley whose fingerprints were found on Paddock’s horde of ammunition packed into unused rifle magazines.

Publicly available intelligence obtained from consumer credit reporting bureaus show Danley claimed the “Federal Bureau of Investigation” as her place of employment.

Interesting revelation.

When contacted Friday, one FBI source said the Bureau “might have made payments to Danley but it is above my level,” the source said referring to access to the FBI’s confidential informant participant and payment records. The source said “bosses are concerned” with the new revelations about Danley’s financial relationship with the FBI.

In FBI speak, Danley could have been a paid asset. And ‘concerned’ means folks are getting ready to cover their own butts if payments were made to Danley either before or after the massacre.

Perhaps FBI Director Christopher Wray can shed light on the matter.

Or Danley. If you can find her. It took the FBI days to locate her and interview her after the Mandalay Bay massacre.

Danley is an Australian national. She is not a U.S. citizen.

Of course this bombshell Intel is coming from FBI sources in the beltway, not the corrupt Las Vegas FBI field office headed by Aaron Rouse. The same FBI field office that has not been able to pinpoint a motive for the Oct. 1, 2017 massacre that killed 57 people.

UK - Child-Killer Stabbed to Death Weeks After He Was Released From Jail

His biggest “punishment” came after doing time.

Only weeks after he was released from prison, a convicted child killer in the UK was stabbed to death.

The fatal stabbing victim has been identified as 54-year-old David Gaut. Gaut was discovered dead in a pool of his own blood in the hallway of a home in New Tredegar, South Wales, where he had lived for only six weeks. Detective Constable Jon Lewis said Gaut died as a result of “sharp force injuries” and that he suffered “numerous injuries to his body.”

Gaut was just released from prison less than two months ago for the murder of a 17-month-old boy in Caerphilly. He was sentenced jailed for life in 1985.

Gaut was babysitting his girlfriend’s son Chi Ming Shek when he beat up and kicked the toddler and even burned the sole of the poor child’s foot. During the murder trial at Cardiff Crown Court, Gaut tried to make it appear that the death was “accidental.”

The child died of multiple injuries including a broken arm, injured liver and spleen and a fractured skull. The judge then painted the murder as “the worst crime in the land.”

Gaut’s neighbor from before the time of his death and two other men from the same village are the prime suspects in his murder. Accused are Darren Evesham, 47, David Osbourne, 51, and Ieuan Harley, 23. Osbourne lives next door to Gaut while the other two men reside in other parts of the village. The three will stand trial next year.

The motive for Gaut’s murder is yet to be established. It is not clear if it has anything to do with his previous crime of killing a child or none at all.

New Tredegar, where Gaut stayed after his prison release, is around 20 miles north of Cardiff, the capital of Wales.

Two things caught my eye in there: a document about Rothschild’s deal with the Department of Justice and, scrolling through Mr Nasif’s comment, his reassurances that he has already sent all or most of his information to Wikileaks, to Donald Trump, to Kim Dot Com and a range of other agencies and/or people who could, potentially, release the contents. Something in the way he spoke, which included a few remarks about the safety of his person, led me to believe that perhaps there was a lot more to Mr Nasif and his claims than I originally though.

Let's say your camera has a dead pixel in the sensor. I've seen this happen ever since digital cameras were a thing. It's just a white spot on every single photo taken with the camera, same color, same spot every single time. By detecting these you can see which actual camera was used to take other photos. The idea with the patent seems to be to use these to identify people in the photos taken with the same camera, then make connections between those people. This has a very high level of certainty as the people would have to physically be in front of the same camera at some point. Most people don't even notice these dead pixels. Solutions: always crop, never show max-resolution photos, use software to eliminate these.
