FBI Releases 22 Pages From Its Bigfoot Files

 

The FBI on Wednesday released 22 pages of documents related to Bigfoot, showing that in 1977, the bureau’s scientific division conducted an analysis on hairs alleged to have belonged to the mythical creature, only to find that they were from a deer. The documents consist mostly of letters from the 1970s between the FBI and Peter Byrne, the director of the Bigfoot Information Center and Exhibition. Byrne, who was located in Oregon, sought the FBI’s help in analyzing hairs he claimed to have obtained from an unidentified animal.

 

Jay Cochran Jr., the assistant director of the FBI’s scientific and technical services division, approved analysis of the hairs. Cochran sent 15 hairs provided by Byrne to Howard Curtis, of the Academy of Applied Science in Boston. “It was concluded as a result of these examinations that the hairs are of deer family origin,” Cochran wrote in response to Byrne on Feb. 24, 1977.

Russia, China Prepare To Dump Dollar, Agree To Bilateral Trade In National Currencies

 

Just one month after conducting joint military exercises, Russia and China are set to sign an agreement which would boost the use of their national currencies in bilateral and international trade in an attempt to mmove away from the current dollar-denominated financial system, according to Russian state-owned news outlet TASS.

 

It is planned that Russia and China will be developing bilateral payments in national currencies, encourage and expand the use of national currencies, particularly through promotion of their use when signing international trade contracts. According to the draft agreement, the sides will also assume required measures to lift barriers for payments in national currencies. -TASS

 

The Kremlin released a draft decree on Wednesday outlining "settlements and payments for goods, service and direct investments between economic entities of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China are made in accordance with the international practice and the legislation of the sides’ states with the use of foreign currency, the Russian currency (rubles) and the Chinese currency (yuan)."

 

According to the draft, Moscow and Beijing will cooperate to develop a national payments system, along with cross-border payments in national and other currencies.

 

"The sides deepen the cooperation in the field of national payment card systems and within the framework of the Russian and Chinese legislation provide support to commercial banks in their independent decision-making on joining the payment system in the state of the other side," reads the document.

 

Last November, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that discussions were under way to allow the use of China's UnionPay credit card in Russia, and Russia's Mir card in China.

Sex, or gender, as it’s now known, is something we can change like our knickers. It’s the new world order that we have to fight against to preserve our Western way of life.

Conservatism is dead, long live cultural Marxism. The conservatives have rolled over and died, whilst the social democrats, communists, Greens, liberals and the vile left have taken hold of our democracies. Held to ransom by supra national bodies like the EU, the World Health Organisation, the United Nations and the card carrying members of Davos, the majority find themselves living in a parallel universe where they are frightened to speak out.

The book started out as a critique of the whole dangerous gender agenda where the sexes were being diluted with virulent accusations of ‘toxic’ masculinity, the madness of the #MeToo movement, where men and boys were told ‘take a back seat, it doesn’t matter if your grades are better than the girls, you’re going to the back of the queue for jobs, you don’t matter as much as your sister, mother, aunt, girlfriend or any woman. We’re going to sue your arses and name and shame you if you so much as winked at me twenty years ago’.

It looks at the workplace where men called Paul, who identify as Pauline on the first Wednesday of every month but only when the sun is rising in Jupiter, who choose to dress as women and on those days we have to bow down and respect their voyeurism. There can be no sniggering behind the computer screen because that’s a sackable offence. Where it’s easier to change your sex online than it is to change your car’s number plate.

Did you wonder where the transgender agenda came from to suddenly to infect our children’s minds and to dictate the toilets we can use? Where did the trans activists’ violence and heavy handed litigation, threats, power, money and influence come from?

How did a minority in Islam become so forceful and dominant in our politics, legislation and terrorism? So much so that legislation is being brought forward to curtail our criticism of it?

Are you, like me, a conservative but wonder where on earth they are? The book names and shames politicians who trade under the label ‘conservative’.

It lauds those who are fighting against the whole gender and transgender agenda.

It has chapters from a transvestite and a young man who thought he was trans and started the transition process, aided by the irresponsible state, until he realised he was just gay, to a man that became a woman. We hear their stories. None of them have been infected by liberal left wrong think.

The author tears into our education system, the EU, the UN, every politician and body that undermines the family, rule of law, our Western way of life, open borders, mass immigration that no one wanted or indeed, asked for. She condemns the attack on our free speech and imported third world practices and terrorism.

Cultural Marxism has to be stopped and reversed.

Death Toll in Sudanese Protests Hits 60

 

The death toll during the dispersal of the sit-in protest near Khartoum's army headquarters has risen to 60 people, Reuters reported, citing the opposition Central Committee of Sudan Doctors (CCSD).

 

Protesters have been rallying outside army headquarters in Khartoum since 6 April to force the Transitional Military Council (TMC), which has been ruling Sudan since its long-time leader Omar Bashir was deposed in April, to hand over power to a civilian body. The military moved in to break up the sit-in on Monday. The previous CCSD reports indicated that the number of those killed in the military crackdown exceeded 35.

 

According to the committee, the exact death toll is unclear as the military has reportedly encircled the hospitals where protesters are being treated.

 

The committee also claimed earlier, citing doctors and protesters, that many of the bodies of those killed had allegedly been taken by the militia and thrown into the Nile.

 

The TMC maintains that the security force's operation was not aimed at peaceful protesters but rather was targeting criminals who infiltrated the ranks of demonstrators.

 

On Monday, Sudan's acting prosecutor general, Al-Walid Sayed Ahmed, ordered that a special committee be set up to promptly investigate the circumstances surrounding the deadly clashes between the army and the protesters.

 

Sudan experienced a military coup on 11 April following months of mass demonstrations. Then President Omar Bashir was subsequently overthrown and detained after almost 30 years in power. The military then took over and pledged to organize a new presidential election within two years. Protesters have since remained in the streets, demanding that the military yield power to a civilian authority.

Anons, I just watched the CNN clip (below) of Wolf Blitzer, his panel and former FBI Mudd with their hair collectively on fire about Christopher Steele agreeing to meet with the DoJ in the coming weeks to answer questions about his Dossier.

 

For the life of me, I cannot understand their angle with this piece. It's almost as if they all acted as if it was an internal rant about the Rat Steele spilling the truth about the entire Russian collusion hoax and that they were completely unaware that their consternation was being broadcast for the World to see.

US Lawmakers Call For Ban on Facial Recognition as Massive 640 Million Photos FBI Database Revealed

 

The revelation of a massive US citizen photo database fanned the flames of debate about the highly controversial high-tech solution to crimes, which can possibly become the culprit in mass wrongful arrests and privacy violations.

 

US lawmakers are calling for a nation-wide moratorium on facial recognition technology after a massive database of 640 million photos gathered by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) was revealed during a hearing on Tuesday.

 

Speaking before a House Oversight and Reform Committee, Government Accountability Office (GAO) representative Gretta Goodwin revealed that the FBI has access to some 640 million photos of US citizens, including 36 million mugshot photos and 21 state driver’s license directories. The revelation sparked bewilderment amongst the lawmakers.

 

“640 million photos,” repeated Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the ranking member of the Committee. “There are only 330 million people in the country.”

 

While the FBI emphasizes it uses the vast database only to solve crimes, lawmakers got worried. Panel members accused the FBI of failing to implement “adequate privacy and accuracy guardrails” recommended by GAO three years ago before deploying the facial recognition technology across the nation, according to The Hill.

 

“Although the Committee has not called for a broad moratorium at this stage, I personally feel that we should consider it, and we will be continuing our robust bipartisan oversight of this issue to develop common-sense, concrete reforms that the whole Committee can support,” panel chairman Elijah Cummings told reporters.

 

The main concern regarding facial recognition technology is its predisposition for failure which bears signs of discrimination. Civil rights groups cite studies that claim the existing technology makes mistakes when analyzing certain populations at higher rates than others. Besides, there are questions regarding how the government is handling private data.

 

“We do have to have a pause on the implementation of facial recognition at a federal level … until we make sure that it’s not violating our Fourth Amendment rights and civil liberties,” says Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), the chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus. According to the Fourth Amendment to US Constitution, US citizens have a right “to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures.”

During a brief address at the company's annual shareholders' meeting held near its headquarters in Rogers, Arkansas, Sanders called on Walmart to pay its hourly workers at least $15 per hour. Sanders was invited by Walmart worker Carolyn Davis, who is a member of a labor backed-group called United for Respect, to speak in support of the resolution.

 

"Frankly, the American people are sick and tired of subsidizing some of the greed of some of the largest corporations in this country," he said in his three-minute address.

 

The Walmart board also faced a shareholder proposal to strengthen its sexual harassment procedures, filed by United for Respect. It calls for formalizing the board's oversight responsibility, aligning senior executive compensation incentives, and it urged the company to report to shareholders by the end of the calendar year on any actions it's taken. Walmart says such a proposal is unnecessary and says it has strong procedures and training programs in place.

 

With Walmart's founder's descendants owning about 50% of the stock, the proposals don't have any chance of passing. Still, it's the latest pressure that Walmart and other corporations are facing to do right by its workers.

 

Sanders has a history of fighting against corporations from Walmart to McDonald's.

 

At McDonald's shareholders' meeting in late May, presidential candidates including Sanders as well as labor groups called on the fast food chain to increase wages and improve workplace policies on sexual harassment.

 

Walmart, based in Bentonville, Arkansas, raised its starting pay to $11 an hour in early 2018. Late last year, Amazon jumped ahead of many rivals by raising its minimum wage for U.S. workers to $15 an hour. That pay hike was not universally praised by all workers, who said the company cut two employee benefits as well: monthly bonuses and the chance to own some of Amazon's sky-rocketing stock. Amazon did make some adjustments afterward to ensure workers were getting a raise.

 

Target and Walmart have increased starting wages for workers over the past few years as the job market has grown hotter and people could find better pay and benefits elsewhere. Target Corp. is raising the minimum hourly wage by a dollar in June to $13 per hour, the third pay hike in less than two years. The Minneapolis retailer has said it plans to raise starting hourly wages to $15 by the end of 2020.

 

Walmart has defended its record, noting it has increased starting wages by more than 50% in the last four years. It currently has an average hourly total compensation of more than $17.50. It touts benefits like advanced job training and paid time off. Earlier this week, Walmart said it was extending its debt-free college benefits to high schoolers. That includes free college SAT and ACT prep for workers in high school.

Formed in 2013, Jaysh al-Izza was one of the first Free Syrian Army (FSA) groups in northern Syria to benefit from U.S. support through the CIA’s “Timber Sycamore” train and equip program, which had been approved by then U.S. President Barack Obama.

 

The group received loads of weapons from the U.S. including Grad rockets, as well as Fagot and TOW anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).

 

Jaysh al-Izza received this support under the pretension of being a “moderate group” led by a known Syrian Arab Army (SAA) defector, al-Saleh. However, the group’s acts were not in line with these claims.

 

Since its formation, Jaysh al-Izza has been deeply linked to al-Qaeda’s branch in Syria, the al-Nusra Front. The group became one of the main allies of al-Nusra when its changed its name to Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in 2017.

 

Al-Saleh is known for having a close relationship with HTS’ leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani. This close relation was likely behind Jaysh al-Izza’s decision to avoind joining the Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL) last year.

 

The weapons supplied to Jaysh al-Izza were used to support several military operations of HTS. Some were even used in attacks on civilians. Last month, the group’s Grad rockets claimed the lives of four children in the government-held town of al-Suqaylabiyah in northern Hama.

 

Jaysh al-Izza’s “special relationships” with HTS and its high-tolerance to al-Qaeda ideology confirms the radical views of the group’s fighters and leader. Jaysh al-Izza members are not even making much efforts to hide this after the suspension of the U.S. support in 2017.

The European Union voted last month but not one of its 21st century war crimes and war criminals were a topic of conversation. The EU’s real issues are decided by non-Europeans. The Pentagon, Wall Street and the White House determine Europe’s economic and foreign policies, as well as its “security”. And the CIA covertly polices it all. These are the unspoken truths about the EU. And have been since the beginning of the European experiment – way back in the 1940s.

 

European integration was an American idea. As the preeminent neoconservative, Robert Kagan, points out in the latest Foreign Affairs magazine, the whole point of American policy in Western Europe, after the Second World War, was to “keep the Soviet Union out, the Americans in, and the Germans down.” Keeping “the Americans in” being the key objective.

 

With this in mind, the Americans began to construct a solid anticommunist block in the West of Europe in the late 1940s. Today’s EU is the result of this US / CIA fanaticism. Writing in 2016, in the conservative British newspaper The Telegraph, the journalist, Ambrose Evans Pritchard, notes that:

“The key CIA front was the American Committee for a United Europe (ACUE), chaired by Donovan. Another document shows that it provided 53.5 per cent of the European movement’s funds in 1958. The board included Walter Bedell Smith and Allen Dulles, CIA directors in the Fifties, and a caste of ex-OSS officials who moved in and out of the CIA.

 

“Papers show that it treated some of the EU’s ‘founding fathers’ as hired hands, and actively prevented them finding alternative funding that would have broken reliance on Washington.”

FBI releases files on Bigfoot from records vault

The FBI released 22 documents from its record vault on Wednesday concerning the agency’s investigation into a possible Bigfoot.

 

The records, dated from 1976 and 1977, chronicle an analysis on an unidentified hair and tissue sample that some believed belonged to Bigfoot. The samples were said to come from “a member of the deer family,” the documents show.

 

In August 1976, then-Bigfoot Information Center Director Peter Byrne sent a letter to the FBI, urging the agency to test the sample of 15 hairs “attached to a tiny piece of skin.”

 

“Will you kindly, to set the record straight, once and for all, inform us if the FBI., has examined hair which might be that of a Bigfoot,” the letter reads. “Please understand that our research here is serious. That this is a serious question that needs answering.”

 

The documents also include a letter from Jay Cochran, who was serving as assistant director of the FBI’s Science and Technical Services Division. In a letter dated February 1977, Cochran wrote to the Academy of Applied Sciences about the FBI’s findings regarding the sample.

 

The sample was “examined by transmitted and incident light microscopy” and included “a study of morphological characteristics such as root structure, medullary structure and cuticle thickness in addition to scale casts,” the document says.

 

It continued, “The hairs were compared directly with hairs of known origin under a comparison microscope… It was concluded as a result of these examinations that the hairs are of deer family origin.”

Ohio doctor charged with 25 counts of murder for over prescribing painkillers to patients

 

The Columbus, Ohio, doctor who was accused of over prescribing painkillers to his patients was charged with 25 counts of murder Wednesday.

 

William Husel was indicted by a Franklin County grand jury after a six-month criminal investigation that concluded he purposely overdosed dozens of patients over a four-year period at Mount Carmel Health System.

 

He turned himself in around 10:30 a.m., according to police.

 

Officials at Mount Carmel have said that Husel ordered excessive doses, ranging from 200 micrograms to 2,000 micrograms, for 35 patients, but said six of them did not die at his hand. Doses typically range between 25 and 100 micrograms.

A day after Mohammad Javad Zarif announced his resignation on Instagram, the foreign minister of Iran is receiving support from members of parliament amid calls for the president not to accept his decision.

 

The resignation of Iran’s most famous diplomat and the man often seen as the foreign face of Tehran has plunged Iran’s highest levels of government and media into a momentary sense of bewilderment and lack of certainty.

 

It illustrates not only the differences within the regime but also the ability of news organizations in Tehran to gather news with some levels of independence, more than in other totalitarian regimes. The Iranian Students News Agency, for instance, provides a discussion about various “sources” close to Zarif and President Hassan Rouhani’s office.

 

According to the report, there are other diplomats who will resign if Zarif indeed leaves the foreign ministry. Rouhani’s chief of staff Mahmous Vaezi even initially denied that the resignation had taken place. ISNA also reported that the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamanei, had a say in Zarif retaining his post.

 

It was not clear if that meant the leader might step in or if Khamenei wanted to push Zarif out. Meanwhile, up to 150 members of parliament have reportedly signed a letter urging Rouhani to reject the resignation. There are 290 seats in parliament.

 

Fars News noted that Zarif was displeased by his absence from the meeting with Syrian President Bashar Assad on Monday. He had not been invited, apparently, or had not received adequate information about the high-level meeting. These were “subtle” and “delicate” matters, Iranian media reported, noting that Zarif and Rouhani had differences of opinion over foreign policy.

 

There are rumors that Zarif opposed the increasing role of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in foreign policy and that he represented a more “moderate” agenda in Iran. But Zarif has also previously tweeted support for the IRGC, so it is not a simple story of hard-liners and moderates.

 

Zarif had faced criticism and challenges in parliament dating back to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal discussions. He was frequently accused of a variety of misdeeds. A key antagonist was Javad Karim Ghoddousi, who was involved in a series of challenges to the key diplomat’s role. Zarif was critiqued for trusting the US, for traveling to France, for paying respects to Kurds, for mentioning corruption at home, and a litany of other issues. But is that what broke him in the end?

 

Zarif wants the foreign ministry to have more power. His resignation also must be accepted by the president. However, a Telegram channel linked to the IRGC celebrated his resignation, an indication that there are many people who dislike Zarif. The mystery over Zarif’s fate will continue to plague Iran even as the regime seeks to boast of its regional influence.

 

This is a challenge for Tehran because for the last several years, it has shown a united front to the Middle East and the world, seeking to portray the US as flip-flopping on policies. Zarif was a key in that narrative, accusing the US of isolating itself.

 

In an interview published on Fars News, Zarif indicated that he believed it was important to combine diplomacy with action on the ground.

 

“When we do that we have success.” This appeared to imply that Iran’s government should act as one, with the IRGC and other aspects of state power coordinating with the foreign ministry. “We must remove foreign policy from an issue of party or factional struggle. That is a fatal poison for foreign policy and it must not be the subject of partisan [politics]. There must be a trust in foreign policy workers at the national level; without it everything goes awry.”

 

He may have been predicting and articulating the choice he was about to make in resigning. If so, he has become a victim of the factional fighting and attempts to weaken the foreign ministry that he warned about. If not, it means that Zarif is making a ploy out of this resignation to gain more power either in government or parliament.

A U.S. drug company did not openly share or perform further studies on a successful rheumatoid arthritis medicine that internal researchers suggested was reducing the risk of Alzheimer's disease by 64 percent, according to Washington Post article published Tuesday.

 

Researchers at Pfizer reportedly urged the firm to conduct a clinical trial after finding the potential hidden benefit of the anti-inflammatory drug Enbrel while analyzing insurance claims.

 

It was estimated to cost $80 million to conduct the trial, and Pfizer decided to pass.

 

Pfizer told the Post it did not pursue the clinical trial because its success rate would likely be low.

 

Enbrel had reached the end of its patent life and its profits were dwindling, meaning it may have made little business sense to invest in the trial, according to the Post.

 

Outside researchers said it would've helped the medical community for Pfizer to publish its findings, since doing so could have led to further discoveries about the complicated disease.

 

“It would benefit the scientific community to have that data out there,’’ said Keenan Walker, an assistant professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins who is studying how inflammation contributes to Alzheimer’s. “Whether it was positive data or negative data, it gives us more information to make better informed decisions.’’

 

At least one medical ethicist agreed.

 

"Having acquired the knowledge, refusing to disclose it to those who might act upon it hides a potential benefit, and thereby wrongs and probably harms those at risk of developing Alzheimer’s by impeding research,’’ Bobbie Farsides, professor of clinical and biomedical ethics at Brighton and Sussex Medical School in the United Kingdom, told the Post.

 

In a statement to The Hill, Pfizer said, "Our decision not to publish a statistical analysis of insurance claims data, and our decision NOT to pursue a broader clinical trial in Alzheimer’s disease based on such statistical analysis were based first and foremost on scientific rationale and not on the basis of financial incentives as the story seems to imply."
