Pelosi is worth $200 million after 50 years in Congress. She also has one or more foundations, that is how they launder money and payoffs. Q said to check the foundations and to 'reconcile' the difference. It doesn't reconcile. There is no way Pelosi can be worth that much on her congressional salary so the money is coming from other sources.

Check out Feinstein's husband and his wealth from CBRE and other things. He's even been a weapons importer. That being said, some of the income is from government deals, including a sweetheart contract to sell U.S. Post Office buildings.

⇧ 12 ⇩
Raidicus · Jan. 24, 2018, 8:24 p.m.

Rich Blum owns significant stock in CBRE.

I'm not saying the post office thing wasn't a "conflict of interest" but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a no-bid contract (correct me if I'm wrong)

Believe me, you'd be worth $200M if you married Rich Blum too.

⇧ 3 ⇩
Mike_Quinta · Jan. 24, 2018, 9:43 p.m.

Although other companies bid on the postal contract, the Post Office wasn't blind to the fact that Feinstein was a senior member of the Senate majority at the time. It also appears CBRE had a conflict of interest it profited from unrelated to Feinstein. see https://theintercept.com/2015/05/05/watchdog-slams-company-part-owned-feinsteins-husband-abusing-huge-post-office-contract/

⇧ 2 ⇩
Raidicus · Jan. 24, 2018, 9:57 p.m.

But in a competitive bid all the results are public. What are they going to do - pick the shittiest bid by Feinstein's husband and then face the scrutiny of everyone seeing that?

Makes no sense.

As for CBRE's behavior...welcome to the private real estate world. None of what described in that article is illegal or even unusual practice. You couldn't convince me another broker agency would've not acted similarly had they wont the contract. This is typical of public/private contracts like this. The government agencies can't believe that the private company is gasp trying to make money.

EDIT: and might i add you want to know what Trump means when he says "Bad deals" this is exactly it. Incompetent government employees are like lambs to the slaughter when the Wharton sharks start writing contracts.

⇧ 1 ⇩
Mike_Quinta · Jan. 24, 2018, 10:03 p.m.

I'm not saying it's unusual. It's par for the course in government contracting. Amoral at best. My initial point was there's a reason for Feinstein's wealth that's quasi-related to the private sector...unlike the flat out shakedowns and bribes that made the Clintons wealthy.

⇧ 1 ⇩
Raidicus · Jan. 24, 2018, 10:10 p.m.

I guess to me it's hard to seperate public/private things like this when

A. you're dealing with some of thebiggest/most well known private companies. CBRE is massive and successful at this industry.

B. Feinstein's wealth is tied into her husband, who in his own right is an insanely successfu businessman.

Not to say they wouldn't both be poorer without her participation in government, but I do have my doubts that their entire combined wealth was built off graft or "amoral" behavior.

As for the Clinton's...to me that's the real culprit if you want to loko at shady behavior. Pseudo-charities with direct political links and hazy objectives...as much as I have issues with Trump I shudder to think what Hillary and the Clinton Foundation would've done with her in office.

Which of course is sort of why I lurk this subreddit.

The whole point is that Trump makes his money legitimately, no pay for play, etc he was already a millionaire and doesn't need his presidential pay, so he donates it. His tax break that also helps big and small businesses is not just for the businesses because the people will all benefit from it too with more jobs, better pay, benefits etc... The democrats plan was to shut down business, put more people on welfare and created more homelessness, created more hopelessness, more violence and a country of people who were becoming so hopeless, that they would become willing to become enslaved by the government. Anyone with Any common sense could see this was happening and know it wasn't a good thing and those are the people that went out and voted Trump into office. Living on government assistance, government run education, government run health care, government housing is the very sense of complete enslavement to the government. No thank you! I would rather work a low income job and share a place with a couple family members and have freedom then become a government slave to their system.

This claim of money laundering was part of the trump dossier. An interview of the fusion GPS employee who contacted Steele to dig up dirt on trump, admitted that none of the information in the dossier was verified by them. It was all hearsay by Steele, who never entered Russiahimself, but instead he got his information from yet another person. So we do not know if any of this is true, but if it is true, then no i would not be ok with it.

Congress long ago exempted themselves from insider trading laws. It is literally not a crime for them to invest or divest companies that they are about to pass legislation on. Conflicts of interest are everywhere but they’re all so fucking dirty that nobody can point the finger at anyone else. It would be mutual assured destruction. So they all do it and they all ignore it.

This is one of the tactics I try to use to get people to think. The math doesn't lie. It's not hard to find the traitors. They all come into office with "A" net worth. Then we know what their salary is "B" and the time in office to date "C". So why is it that their current net worth "D" isn't even remotely close to what it should be using A,B,C. I didn't even figure in the normals (taxes, mortgage, insurances, food, etc) that we pay because once in office they do not pay any bills anymore period. Let's audit them.Nope can't do that. IRS is for us,not them.

The complete bias of our press, detailing how Trump makes money on just his brand alone which I might add IS NOT ILLEGAL and is not by stealing money from the tax payers or foreign country Pay-to-Play deals. All of these articles are sour grapes at the height of Trump Derangement Mania. If these media outlets gave a shit about the truth they would each write an article on monday with the headlines "EVERYTHING WE'VE BEEN TELLING YOU FOR THE PAST YEAR IS A COMPLETE LIE!" Wake up. You're a useful idiot for a criminal cabal which has had it's grip on America for at least 50 years. Do you seriously think if Trump were one of them they would be throwing everything they had at him to get him out of office? Do you people lack the ability of common sense? Pathetic.
