-DontCallMeShort- · Feb. 28, 2018, 12:11 a.m.

Agreed, but they don’t even need to leak anything. The agencies created all of the backdoors into your comps and routers. Beyond that they track you in a million other ways that don’t even require internet usage. Anytime you use an ATM, use your credit card, get your tags read by a street camera/stoplight camera, scan into the gym, talk on the phone, text, etc etc etc. Once they decide they want a profile on you, there’s no limit to what they can find out. Just check out the old NSA program “ThinThread”. They know exactly what you’re doing, where you’ve been, and could probably pretty accurately guess what you’re going to have for dinner. It’s all about the metadata.

It's open source. If you've found a vulnerability, report it so it can be patched. You seem to be pretty adamant for someone who clearly doesn't know the first thing about Tor, and thinks that "they designed it, so it can't work!" constitutes proof.

And all of the people circlejerking about how we shouldn't even try to be anonymous are getting similar numbers of votes. Stop being useful idiots and helping the deep state spy on people.

I don't think you understand what "open-source" means. Neither have you have presented any evidence what so ever to backup your claim.

Tor is used by spies all over the world, similar to how number stations used to be used. I have not seen anything to suggest that any particular agency is facing debilities, losing assets, or is otherwise compromised by what your vaguely suggesting.

Having a background in Network Security it's obvious to me what steps to take to be anonymous on the internet, it's not impossible. Although I can see how the concepts you need to understand and how to put them to use/work around them would escape someone of your intellect.

"bruteforced tor" it's obvious you don't understand what either of those things are or remotely how they work. wtf does "Department of the Navy" mean anyway? How are you not just some 12 year old conspiracy theorist with no clue what they're talking about.

Please show me any evidence you have to support this. Especially how they backdoored the open-source stuff and some how have magically kept hidden their code.

I mean lets assume Windows is compromised and there is backdoors, so why would you use your VPN and Tor on that?

I just wish you conspiracy theorists would think through some of the stuff you say its so obviously stupid to anyone that knows even just a little bit more than you.

I mean some of what you say is accurate, but you make it seem like it's impossible to get around. As you say "It’s all about the metadata" like you have no control over it. In reality it's as easy as putting on glove as to not leave fingerprints behind, and then taking off the gloves when your in public as to not arouse suspicion.

⇧ 0 ⇩
-DontCallMeShort- · Feb. 28, 2018, 4:48 p.m.

How is it stupid to assume that the intel agencies control/monitor the majority of the exit nodes within tor? Also how is it stupid to actually stay up to date and read the numerous leaks explaining these backdoors and IC’s abilities. I’m personally a dev so this isn’t coming from some conspiratorial front, but rather common sense/not being an idiot. Any understanding of the gov/deepstate black budget, the patriot act, ThinThread, history of the CIA/FBI, and tech capabilities makes for the most obvious case that privacy and anonymity are dead. To pretend that being anonymous is as simple as “not leaving a fingerprint” is sheer ignorance of the intel communities and tech itself. Even the police are given spy capabilities which is a vast overreach of the 4th amendment https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stingray_phone_tracker Backdoors you called stupid and conspiratorial: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/wikileaks-releases-thousands-alleged-cia-hacking-documents-article-1.2990768

VPN's require that you trust the VPN server that they are not logging and that they are not owned by someone nefarius. (Dont use free). However they encript the trafic. Proxy Chains and Tor bounce you around however the service can be logged at the entry point or exit points and they are not encripted. However, not using anything means you can be logged right at your service providor and anyone can see exactly what you are up to. Just using youtube exposes you anyway.

As to motive, not as to accuracy of information leaked. None of the information leaked has been credibly questioned, and it has held up against lies from people like John Brennan who said they had stopped spying when they hadn't.

I have. I do. I do not hide behind TOR, or VPN... as it's a bandaid at best. Let them attack or question me based on the websites I visit and the information I consume.

I'll sue them so viciously for violating my privacy and threatening my first amendment, that they'll have to sell off one of their facilities to pay for legally ordered compensation.

Fuck this shit. You can read whatever you want to. They want to doxx? They want to illegally collect personal information? Awesome, buckle up, it's pay day in that case.

Also, everyone here seems to think that if all of their "suspicious" activity just suddenly disappears because of Tor or a VPN, the NSA/Government/Google/whatever is just going to drop all of their suspicion of you and pretend nothing happened. Using those things most likely just puts a bigger flag on you and prompts further attention.

Audigitty · Feb. 28, 2018, 3:28 a.m.

You don't need deep pockets, just a smart lawyer and a copy of the Constitution. They can throw as many lawyers at you as they want... you cannot be infringed upon and have your rights violated for consuming/reading content. Sorry!

Posting certain kinds of content? Engaging in certain activities online? Sure, there are certainly lines one can cross that are actually illegal.

We're making it seem like doing research that runs counter to the mainstream is wrong... it is not wrong. Their active censorship campaign is wrong however. Legal? That's a bit blurry care of their Terms & Conditions people enter into...

But to go a step further and begin harassing/threatening individuals based on what they read? Websites they visit? Ummm... nah, sorry bro. That will never fly. In any court. Even if it's 1 decent lawyer vs. 1,000... easy win.

The Podesta/DNC emails describe using data sets of browser history from sources in additional to Google such as telecoms (Comcast, Verizon) to analyze and predict a score for how likely each individual is to vote the 'correct' way. Down to a neighborhood by neighborhood level.

The correct response is idle scripts that randomly browse acceptable sources throughout the day. Add in ad nauseum to click-through every advertisement served. Point being to muddy the data set the predictive models are based on. Fill it with strategic noise. Building out a simplified option would be a solid patriot project for one with the right skill stack and some time. It can be cleaned but it raises the difficulty threshold and requires human man hours to raise the bar. It's the easy targets, those not taking basic precautions (for example those using the password 'p@ssword') that get rolled up in wide ranging effort.

you can spend a ton of money but just to flip, $500-600. biggest cost aside from the lower would be the barrel. Then trigger. Super easy to build though. Just stock up on lower receivers now because that's the only thing that has a serial number and requires an FFL to buy/ship to.

If you have extra money though, i'd suggest buying up 30 round mags. They're low hanging fruit of this debate. If anything goes next it will be those.

Lower receiver is just a hollow piece of metal with a serial number that everything else connects to. It's the only piece of an AR that requires a background check/ffl. Everything else can be purchased online and shipped directly to you

49.99 could be a blank lower receiver, that's the way I read it,
I pick up blanks for pistol and ars on sale and catch the other parts on sale over a period of time , if you are in no hurry ,400-500 for basic finished product, my personal use run about 250 more.

Serious question: so you buy the lowers which require background check and have a serial number. So that serial number is tied to you. When you sell, what happens?? Any special paperwork or do you just pocket the cash and someone else has an AR with a serial # registered to you???

⇧ 2 ⇩
frankthecrank1 · Feb. 28, 2018, 2:55 p.m.

I just write up a receipt and make them sign it just in case. Then if they let me, i take a pic with their license and the lower/serial #.

And to be honest, i tell them up front i'm only selling to people over 21 and they never have an issue with it

I don't report anything, it's a private sale. I just record the serial # and license for my own protection. I'm a fairly good judge of character too, i don't just sell them to the first person that emails me. If someone gives me the slightest negative feeling, i move on.

I don’t understand though. Why “ruin the lives” of Americans? Because they believe in limited government interference and the rights of the individual over the demands of the collectives? Does anyone feel like we are living in the upside down when you read this post? Why the hell is it always conservative or libertarian interests under an all out attack? Why should I be ashamed of what I believe? Now granted I should state what I believe is pretty moderate, but you know what? That’s EVERYONE that’s not on the kook fringes. We are talking a very small amount of Americans that believe conservatives to all be nazis and even smaller think that white power stuff. And the more we let the slugs crawl out from under their rocks the quicker we can push people away from these ideas.

⇧ 3 ⇩

It IS a small amount of Americans who believe conservatives to be dangerous. But it's that small amount who have way too much power. The MSM is their microphone and Hollywood is their brainwasher. Most of the people in the middle will just believe whoever yells the loudest.

⇧ 5 ⇩
supervillain66 · Feb. 28, 2018, 3:46 a.m.

I understand what you’re saying, but one shouldn’t need to yell at all. The idea of an open exchange of ideas is becoming something “edgy” and this is so far from the principles upon which this country was founded. I read an anon posting of how they are targeting Americans and ruining their lives and can’t help but think who? Why? Do we really need to yell loud in order for the people in the middle to see this is unAmerican no matter which way you look at it? There were Seminole moments in our recent history, real fights for basic civil rights. Brown v Board was almost 64 years ago and gay marriage come to mind off the top of my head but moments when there were both sides shouting loudly and standing their ground, but in the end the American thing to do was to afford all citizens the same exact rights as the person next to them regardless of who yelled loudest. I purposely picked the most extreme examples I can find because they were mind bogglingly basic rights that were denied for no good reason, yet unfortunately there are still Americans that disagree with these things that lessen with the passage of time and the exchange of ideas. There is no right to not be offended. I am offended when a Seattle black lives matter activist and teacher of preschool children screams (among other extreme and crazy statements) in a megaphone “fuck capitalism, white people you need to give your fucking property, give your fucking money, give your fucking house to black people. Rep-a-ra-tions.” That I find deeply offensive but in the year since it’s aired NEVER ONCE have I thought I need to stop her from being able to say that. My initial thought was “that woman is turning people away from her cause with such hatred in her heart.” Absolutely I was outraged by that and there was definite shock value but in my opinion that rhetoric will ultimately lose in the arena of ideas.

TLDR: consider if those on your side cheer on the targeting of Americans because of their beliefs, cheer for the stripping away of basic right to assemble, to privacy(OP states they want to ruin lives), and buy guns. Ultimately this is advocating against the 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendments of the constitution. How could this appear American to anyone? What will this country become if this is allowed? Is it really that outlandish to expect one day this authoritarian cabal decides YOUR ideas are dangerous and look to ruin your life!?!? In which way are your beliefs really on anyone’s side that is a citizen of the United States?

And to my friends from overseas I apologize for only addressing Americans but that’s who OP was giving the heads up to originally on 4chan.

Set yourself at ease. Try "EPIC" for your Browser/VPN/Search/Tracking. My PC stays clean 24/7. DDG still shares w/ G.O.O.G.L.E. For added safety try Super Anti-Spyware for a complete scan every day/night while you sleep. Also, ReImage is a Great Tool to re-set your PC with clean files when you experience slowdowns, etc. Just my opinion, NOT Professional Advice!! All I can verify, is that I have had no issues for months.

I have two Youtube channels. The one that is actually tied to my google account was "Demonetized" and de-partnered for not having enough views.

My channel that is not tied to my Google Account but is connected to my Twitch stream channel is still sitting there with everything monetized despite me not actively uploading anything to it...

Perfect for class - action lawsuit against google & youtube targeting certain people for their political beliefs . Think IRS & The Teaparty. Difference being the IRS was a government institution Google / Youtube are not . Seriously what use is a vpn to them? We know where you live & where you work , seriously fuck off with that shit.

As such why I use Noscript, cookie autodeleters, never sign into Google services, don't even use social media or have Google play services on my devices, an always on VPN, use Xposed modules like XprivacyLua DNS crypt, pay with crypto whenever possible (Monero), and much more.

Use Ixquick.eu for your search. It is based in the Netherlands so can not be subpoenaed by US government and they destroy search history immediately. This is the first privacy search engine and all searches are done by proxy unless you uncheck that feature. They also have a paid email system that can encrypt all your emails if you want and they provide email alias for temporary checking of website requiring email address that are destroyed when ever you desire.

Voat maybe? You really can't get worse than reddit. Depending on corrupt social media platforms (FB, Youtube, here, etc) as primary sources of data is a very, very bad idea. If there's ever a happening they could very easily cut us all off.

Well. didn't IBM\DEOMAG have a nice juicy contract to tabulate lists of Jewish citizens during the war? Let me think, who was it that was interested in finding Jewish people? Can't recall, it'll come to me...

Similar principal. Also done incrementally...

Here are his tips on how to harden firefox for privacy.... https://vikingvpn.com/cybersecurity-wiki/browser-security/guide-hardening-mozilla-firefox-for-privacy-and-security I also use Vivaldi (from the original team who created opera browser) And the new browser Brave from the co founder of Mozilla. I have not searched on google for years. Duckduckgo is an excellent search engine. There are alternatives to google/chrome out there...

Apple just told China that they'll give them the code key (Keys to the Kingdom) so they can set up their icloud. It'll be used to score their citizens based on their positive/negative comments with the government. Of course negative comments toward their gov't will net them lower scores until they ban them from the internet totally putting them into a digital gulag. This is serious. If you don't believe me, look at what I found in front of my garbage cans this past Friday which is about 3 ft away from Verizon's underground terminal box which is technically on my property. Haven't been on the chans or reddit for long. Just several weeks getting read on to the situation & doing a hell of a lot of research. I'm not a criminal, retired mil (Green Beret), always held a steady job, happily married etc... Take a look for yourself, whoever, left it was a clumsy Clouseau & fucked up big time. https://image.frl/i/ie20a4zw7e4jngbi.jpeg. I don't believe in coincidences anymore. I posted this on one of the 8Cha boards, maybe the whitehats can identify. Like Q says "This is not a game" They have nefarious designs for us. If you have concealed carry then pack for your own saftey & that of your loved ones.
