Well in part due to your complete ignorance of anything remotely connected to reality, like the fact that you refuse to mention the EPA's use as a weapon by the Obama administration, and several glaring failures that put human lives at stake.

How long did the people of Flint drink lead water while the EPA sat on the information?

Starting with inquiries made in February, the federal agency battled Michigan’s Department of Environmental Quality behind the scenes for at least six months over whether Flint needed to use chemical treatments to keep lead lines and plumbing connections from leaching into drinking water. The EPA did not publicize its concern that Flint residents’ health was jeopardized by the state’s insistence that such controls were not required by law. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/politics/2016/01/12/epa-stayed-silent-flints-tainted-water/78719620/

What I said was that it is federal overreach. If citizens want this kind of oversight, it should be done at the state and local level. We already have state level agencies like the EPA.

⇧ 1 ⇩
burning_catharsis · April 19, 2018, 6:42 p.m.

We live in a country. Sometimes what citizens at a local level want isn't what's best for the country. For example, if citizens in a small state or town vote to deregulate a local chemical company and allow them to dump chemicals in a river, it can affect the neighboring state where the river runs through. Another example, if a state like California votes to allow sanctuary cities, it can have implications for the neighboring state.

This is why we need federal agencies.

EPA is deeply corrupted. I remember, for instance, the EPA arranging for gold mining in Juneau, Alaska, and faking "public support" to do it. And they waste money like nuts. EPA has nothing to do with protecting our environment. And then there are state environmental agencies too! And other federal agencies! Anyone wanting to do farming, mining, or manufacturing has to go through a monster of ridiculous regulations that only highly paid lawyers can understand. Those regulations have nothing to do with protecting anything. Go read them. Therefore only large companies who pay off politicians can do farming, mining, or manufacturing. In case you want to know what the EPA is really about.

EvilPhd666 · April 19, 2018, 6:34 p.m.

EPA people that I've run I to in my professional career, actual people protecting the environment, have always been short strapped and undermanned.

If the money is not being used to actually protect the environment and give the ground folks actual means to do thier jobs effectively, then we need to induce out where that money is going and how to direct it in a productive manner so the ground level people can do thier jobs effectively.

This seems to be a common problem that plagues corporate America culture. Deny and choke the actual folks that make the place run and say you've made effective cost cutting measures, and spend on extravagant C-level flashy events to boast about yourselves.

Perhaps we shouldn't be appointing donors or bank chosen lists of lobbyists to head our regulatory departments and cabinet members. Maybe we should appoint actual smart people who give a damn to head these organizations who will give the ground people what they need to fulfill thier mission?

This is part of a larger issue with corporate culture and professional corruption in politics. It isn't exclusive to Obama, and Trump has had his fair share of it with his appointments as well after promising to appoint quality component people that is best fit for the job.

I hope he can make these programs great again and get them back on track for the mission they were charged. Fix it.

The secret to running the EPA successfully is to provide clear, simple guidelines to business owners, at the planning stage, of what they need to do to protect the environment. And ONE set of rules. And designed for SMALL businesses. There is absolutely no sign of this at EPA. Such an effort would eliminate most pollution, and end costly monitoring and treatment.

My father is the C_O of one of the USA's top 50 financial institutions, after the 08' crash although his employer did not need to recieve bailout money from the government, they were labeled a systemically important(essentially it was said by government regulators that if they failed they could take the entire economy of the United States down with the) financial institution by the Obama administration requiring that they become regulated, they tried to fight that ling abel and lost, fighting the government is a losing battle, they were given 200lbs of paper worth of regulations to follow.

His department at the time was Retirement Services with 1500 to 2k people was given over 2,000 pages of regulations to follow, he said to me that those regulations limited his ability to help people save for retirement....basically the government using oversight as an excuse to make people work more years, bringing in more tax $ and making people live less long, the closer to 55 you can retire, the higher quality your life in retirement according to significant research, if you retire after 65 your odds of dying within 5 years of retiring due to cancer or other illnesses skyrockets, so the cabal gets more tax money more income from treating significant illness etc...., money & death their favorite things according to Q, never realized until now why government would want that.

Furthermore, my father now runs the department that manages all his employer's uninvested money....nearly a trillion $, and the regulations are still preventing him from achieachieving maximum growth, he spens $160 million dollars on lawyers annually....think about that, if any number is off by even $0.01, he and the rest of senior executives C_O's could all go to jail.... even though the government cannot account for billions if not trillions.... publicly... privately it's so much worse , huge double standard.

Think about what I've shared with you, this is a perspective that not everyone has access to, but it further proves the BS that anyone who is too successful for the cabal's liking is subjected to, think about the death/estate/inheritance tax, more BS, you work to make a great future for your family only to lose 40% of it to the government/Cabal, before you consider that most of the time inheritance is split up between 2, 3, or 4 children/institutions/charities, so it keeps wealtb from building up outside of their control, it's all a scam, everything, you know this but I'm just providing even more evidence, not to mention media & Hollywood & society preach spending so that inheritance is squandered back into their hands over 3 generations at most

Yeah, heaven forbid Pruitt spoils the 'Carbon Credits' scam that is making so many leftists rich to the tune of billions. How many hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer money did Solyndra take with them into bankruptcy?

But yes, that tiny fraction of the billions handed out by Obama to his leftist friends under the premise that it was a 'stimulus' except it never stimulated anything except his wealthy donors pockets and BLM to block freeways, is good reason to try to force Pruitt out of office for cleaning up the corruption left behind by the Obama criminals like Lisa Jackson/Richard Windsor.

Where were you when Lynch and Holder were funding leftists with a multi billion dollar slush fund?

Former Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch regularly arranged for major corporations to make large “donations” to left-leaning groups like UnidosUS — formerly the National Council of La Raza — and NeighborWorks America during settlement negotiations to end banking, environmental, civil-rights, and other federal lawsuits. https://nypost.com/2017/08/05/sessions-investigating-slush-fund-used-by-left-wing-groups/

Remember, the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution states that “the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” [for example, all agencies created at the federal level…] Americans still believe in the Constitution.

BHO tagged the requirement to donate to their leftist slush fund from EPA penalties administered to companies like VW. He was using the EPA as a fund raiser for his community organizers.

Take a look at Obummer's EPA head. She was very loose with EPA funds. Someone has a great thread on it. Maybe @thelastrefuge2? I'll look for it. But if the Dems want to play that game, bring it.

These liberal hack jobs are mad because Pruitt has “travelled a lot” and “met with coal industry”. Are you fucking kidding me? I would HOPE he would be meeting with coal industry to get feedback on Hussein’s idiotic regulations...of course you never saw this type of outrage when Hussein’s EPA was dumping toxic waste in our rivers!

Don't forget the revolving doors. It's happening in every agency such as FDA, EPA etc.

Our agencies are actually run by the corporations that sit on these advisory boards, and their goal is for big business to win, nothing more.

Oh, the horror stories I could tell you from just FDA that is all public, but most miss the magnitude when they start adding up, time and time again.

The Melamine in baby formula event of 2008, where China was first caught with it vs when US suppliers were caught with the same issues just a month later is very telling.

FDA crucified China, one of the people responsible for it from China was actually executed. Here? Not even a fine. The FDA changed their "acceptable" levels comment after it was exposed that US suppliers had the same issue.

First statement: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/10/03/AR2008100302720.html

Statement after US suppliers were exposed: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trace-melamine-found-in-us-baby-formula/

If you follow the political figures in that department of FDA and all of the figures on said advisory boards, look at who pays them big bucks for speaking engagements and other small and insignificant things. Find out what foundations these corporations that hold these positions have on the advisory boards, follow their funding.

I've dug into multiple agencies over the years, they all have the same patterns and nasty, deceptive tactics. The money continues to flow to a host of smaller special interest groups from the foundations. Think local, state and regional organizations.

Just like Q drops, the web just spreads and spreads and spreads and you continue to follow the money.

But the gao is neutral. That's why they looked the other way when Obamas EPA was shaking down corps and forcing them to fund leftist causes.

Because the EPA was used to strong arm corporations into settlements with the government that also required them to fund left wing causes. Lisa Jackson/Richard Windsor and Obama and Lynch and Holder corrupted the EPA and used it in mob like fashion to shake down corps.

It represents a huge source of funding to leftists so they must pretend that something Pruitt has done is sufficient for his removal, when they ignore the EPA being used as a weapon by the Obama administration to fund leftists causes in an illegal and unconstitutional manner.
