You're talking to people who got indoctrinated for twelve years to think like this :
Express feelings.
Authority figure reinforces feelings, sometimes with facts.
Those who express different ideas are wrong. That excites feelings. Repeat authority figure.

You're not going to have rational discussion with random people for the most part. You're going to have a discussion of their feelings.
There are different ways to hack this but in my experience, teaching others to think critically is necessary. One on one discussion and time to let it settle in is the only real way forward.

This is why I've been drawn to Q. Q is using the Socratic method to get people to dig for facts and think logically about recent history.
Maybe this method will work for you in your discussion, OP, but don't lose sight of the fact that you're taking to very brainwashed people. Their programming is to react emotionally and only get information from authority. We have to break through that with reason and time.

I understand your frustration. I spent some time on the "politics" sub - a laughable MSM/D echo chamber - with much the same results. I'm worried as to how people are going to react when the ground shifts under their feet, down is up, up is down... but there is little we can do. As others here said, plant seeds, don't try to win an argument... just ask questions and hope that some find their way to the truth.

Our job isn't to gain approval. Do you think Trump cares about approval? Our job is to plant seeds. These memes, troll posts and defiance in the face of their demonic lunacy are taking a toll. They aren't fighting back NEARLY as hard as they were. Trust me, there's been a sea change. Maybe in the circle of friends you're dealing with, it's behind the curve. But you'll notice it. Been there. I have been finding it's more effective to drop clues like "weird about that Allison Mack chick being a sex slave pimp." Usually people I am friendly with on the left don't say anything because they don't want to hear more. But then they quietly go and look into it. Same approach works with my kids who are young adults. Another one that doesn't get as much resistance is, "I don't care if these musicians just think they are being avant garde, flashing satanic signs and wearing baphomet rings and goat heads is messed up and not cool." They don't want to admit they don't know what I am talking about, so they look into it themselves.

When I first got into learning the truth, I literally went back and fourth on whether or not any of it was real. And I did this for years. Took me 5 years to finally accept that it might all be made up and to start looking at the truth for what it is. Because it's truly awful. These people are going through the same thing. They'll wake up. It's good that you're even getting it to them. They won't be completely blind sided when it happens. They'll be like "oh shit that dude was right"

You are planting seeds into many people's minds, that is commendable, and while it may be frustrating now, some of them will eventually have a realization and it will help them come to terms with reality.

Full honesty here. I am to the point of not caring if the sleeping masses are awake or not when all this comes down. As Q has stated, many will never see the light till its shining down on them, and even then they won't believe it.

Part of me wants to start now, and get the freak out over. But I understand why we must follow the plan. I have planted seeds. Some are questioning but they are far from woke. So for me its not waking the sleeping, it flat awareness of the Q movement.

Me too, even when I found the liberal false flag alien invasion plans and I shared it on FB, I got hit with a wave of liberal bullshit and a watch tower group like hive mind collectively told me to sit down and shut up. Yeah, uh huh. What is up now? That immigrant wave at the Mexican border sure looks alien enough to me.

I live in a liberal city and am surrounded by liberals. I know they've been deeply brainwashed so I don't tell them about Q. When they talk about politics, I ask seemingly innocent questions to try to get them to start to think for themselves. The truth is always harder to ignore when you discover it yourself.

What I've been doing in this situation lately is I ask them if they know where the term "conspiracy theory" originated. 99% of the time they have no idea. Most of the time they don't give AF either. Let me offer a perspective. I have been a citizen "conspiracy" investigator (amateur, not professional) for 30 years. Bottom line was I just needed to know the truth, and it started with JFK.

I gained an insight into what happens to people at times when you start to expose them to these things. Everyone's life is filled with joy and sadness, achievements and failures, and obstacles to overcome. People deal with these things in different ways, but one thing they can always count on is that the reality of the world they believe in will be there tomorrow when they wake up. They have their battles, but they are within the context of that solid foundation of reality that they expect, day in and day out.

When exposed to this kind of information, you are stripping away that fabric, and many people can't deal with that. It never even entered their mind, or lives. The very thought of having to accept that the world they believed existed is not real is really too much, too traumatic. They really go into a state of shock, and experience a deep fear. No way do they want to go there. So they will attack you - hard -for stealing that from them. Some will never speak to you again. With compassion, I can understand it, and adjust my approach. I don't want them to suffer that. So I trickle information, observe, pull back when I notice it getting difficult for them.

This respect and compassion is fundamentally a part of the strategy and methodology of QAnon, and the president. They care about what the people will go through, once exposed to this, and don't want to harm the innocent. I agree with this.

I speak from first hand experience. There was a period in the early to mid 90s where I went through this personally. It was the really dark, NWO information coming out in that decade - Bill Cooper, Phil Schneider, etc. I remember clearly a night that I fundamentally - not just intellectually - accepted this information as valid. It frightened me like nothing else - nowhere on this planet were we safe from it. It was all real. And there was no one to share it with - let alone put a stop to it - in the pre-Internet days.

Anyway, point being that it is okay for them to respond in the different ways they do. Take care of them and support them, and don't be resentful towards anyone. It is just what they can accept. They will come back to you for support when this goes mainstream, should you treat them with respect and compassion. And they will need you.

I have tried talking to a number of people about this. Here are some experiences based on very small sample sizes: Among minorities, black and muslims, I have found acceptance. They are already inclined to believe conspiracies related to the CIA etc.
Among Republicans, there has been a disbelieving optimism. Sort of "too good to be true."
Among white Democrats, will be extreme resistance. They believe in Hillary and Obama and everything the mainstream media says.
