Doctor at Scene of Highland Park Fourth of July Parade Mass Shooting Describes ‘Horrific’ ‘Wartime’ Injuries of Dead and Survivors

 

Dr. David Baum, who says he was at the Highland Park, Illinois Fourth of July parade Monday morning when the rooftop sniper opened fire on the parade, told WMAQ-TV the dead and the wounded had “horrific” wounds that are seen in war. Baum said he performed CPR on a wounded child. Police report six people died–five declared dead at the scene–and twenty-six were wounded in the attack.

 

Dr. Baum “…All of a sudden you heard these Howitzer-type noises going off. Pow! Pow! I mean a sound I’d never heard before. Um, ten seconds later you hear people screaming, “Bodies down! bodies down!”, and everyone starts scattering. The people who were gone were quickly identified by the paramedics, because they had horrific injuries–the kind of injuries you probably see in wartime, the kinds of injuries that only probably happen when bullets can blow bodies up. And these bodies were, they were gone. They covered ’em up immediately and went on to trying to get other people out. I helped, we, we helped try to move people to a staging area where the ambulances were coming. That’s all we were doing. We didn’t, you know, there was only so much people could do, but, you know.”

 

Reporter: “I think you, you said earlier when you spoke to us earlier on, on the phone that one of the people you helped was a young child.”

 

Dr. Baum: There was a young child there that people were, I was doing a little CPR until the paramedics got there. And he looked horribly injured, I’m not sure of exactly of the injury. But, I mean, people were doing anything they could. It was, it’s a mass casualty scene. And there weren’t enough people there immediately but who would have thought, you know…”

In the early modern period, a court Jew, or court factor (German: Hofjude, Hoffaktor), was a Jewish banker who handled the finances of, or lent money to, European, mainly German, royalty and nobility. In return for their services, court Jews gained social privileges, including in some cases being granted noble status.

 

Examples of what would be later called court Jews emerged in the High Middle Ages[a] when the royalty, the nobility, and the church borrowed money from money changers or employed them as financiers. Among the most notable of these were Aaron of Lincoln and Vivelin of Strasbourg. The rise of the absolute monarchies in Central Europe brought many Jews, mostly of Ashkenazi origin, into the position of negotiating loans for the various courts. They could amass personal fortunes and gain political and social influence. However, the court Jew had social connections and influence in the Christian world mainly through the Christian nobility and church. Due to the precarious position of Jews, some nobles could ignore their debts. If the sponsoring noble died, his Jewish financier could face exile or execution. The most famous example of this occurred in Württemberg when, after the death of his sponsor Charles Alexander in 1737, Joseph Süß Oppenheimer was put on trial and finally executed.[1] In an effort to avoid such fate, some court bankers in the late 18th century—such as Samuel Bleichröder, Mayer Amschel Rothschild, or Aron Elias Seligmann—successfully detached their businesses from these courts and established what eventually developed into full-fledged banks.[2]

Supreme Court Votes to Allow Counting of Ballots in PA with Missing Dates

 

What has happened to the rule of law in this country?

 

The Supreme Court ruled yesterday that mail-in ballots with missing dates can be counted in the state. This insane ruling will affect future elections significantly. Next, they’ll rule that signatures and names aren’t necessary.

 

Pennsylvania is already one state with the largest amount of voter fraud per the 2020 Election. We saw President Trump’s lead of around 700,000 votes disappear days after the election as the corrupt election officials in the state prevented poll watchers from observing events for days until enough ballots were manufactured to give Biden the lead in the state.

 

Now the state can disregard any date on a ballot which is required by state law.

 

The Hill reports:

 

The Supreme Court on Thursday cleared the way for election officials in Pennsylvania to count mail-in ballots whose envelopes are missing a handwritten date, as required by state law.

 

The disputed ballots relate to a contested 2021 judicial election, but the broader legal fight over mailed ballot requirements could have implications for future elections in the state, including the upcoming midterms.

 

The court’s brief order Thursday did not provide a rationale, but the court’s three most conservative members wrote in dissent…

 

…The Thursday order effectively reinstated the 3rd Circuit decision, over a dissent by Alito, joined by Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch.

 

“When a mail-in ballot is not counted because it was not filled out correctly, the voter is not denied the right to vote,” Alito wrote. “Rather, that individual’s vote is not counted because he or she did not follow the rules for casting a ballot. Casting a vote, whether by following the directions for using a voting machine or completing a paper ballot, requires compliance with certain rules.”

 

There is no mention why the other “conservative” justices voted for the ruling. Likely, because it doesn’t make sense.

 

We reported previously how Hillary’s creepy attorney Marc Elias was pushing this move in this state, arguing that the law should not be adhered to. He celebrated the decision yesterday.

Former President Barack Obama said in a speech at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit on Friday that the war in Ukraine is “far from over.”

 

“Make no mistake, this war is far from over. The costs will continue to mount,” Obama said. “The costs will continue to mount, the course of events … are hard to predict.”

 

US and NATO officials have been warning that the Western powers should be prepared to support Ukraine in its war against Russia for a long time.

 

Ukrainian officials have also said they’re expecting a long battle as their goals are to drive Russia out of Ukrainian territory even as Moscow continues to make gains and Kyiv is taking heavy losses.

 

Obama added that US support for Ukraine “must remain strong, steadfast and sustained until this conflict reaches a resolution.”

 

The current crisis in Ukraine can be traced back to 2014 when the Obama administration backed the ouster of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. The coup resulted in Russia taking Crimea and the separatists in the Donbas declaring independence from Kyiv, which sparked a war in the region.

 

Obama backed Ukraine in its war against the Donbas separatists, although he was hesitant to send weapons to Kyiv. That policy was changed by President Trump, who authorized the first US shipment of Javelin anti-tank missiles to Ukraine.

Finally got into spouse's hospital room.. on the 16th day.

I asked the nurse if I needed more PPE than mask to go in, she said let me call the Dr. Came back with a hand wash protocol, that's it. Stayed for 7 hours.

 

Spouse needs more prayer for continued healing. What caused Spouse to collapse in first place is undetermined, may have been the flu (they call it covid). Dr found issue with spouse's heart on 14th day. Believe this went undiagnosed for two weeks, hospitals really want that government covid money, so much so that they will sacrifice your lived one's to get it.

 

Not one person that was in close contact with Spouse has gotten sick.

The babies, believes Tatyana, were taken at birth to have their organs and stem cells harvested as part of a sickening but highly lucrative international trade.

Certainly, the Ukraine has become the main supplier of the global stem cell trade.

Officially, the cells are taken from aborted foetuses with the mothers' consent, but according to Tatyana, there could also be hundreds of babies stolen to order, to feed demand for stem cells from around the world.

Can she be right? Alarmed by her claims, I decided to launch my own investigations for a special BBC report, to be broadcast tomorrow.

My inquiries took me around the world, from a private clinic in the Caribbean to the desolate back streets of the Ukraine. What I uncovered is a disturbing tale involving claims of murder, conspiracy . . . and a sickening new beauty treatment.

The first hint I had of these allegations arose months ago during a conversation with one of the UK's foremost experts on stem cell research.

Dr Stephen Minger, from Kings College, London, is a distinguished medical researcher who believes stem cells hold the key to finding a cure for some of our major diseases.

These tiny cells, which first divide within an embryo, have the ability to transform themselves into any type of tissue. But it's their potential as a future treatment for conditions such as muscular dystrophy and Parkinson's disease that really excites Dr Minger.

He is one of many reputable experts who fear their research into this field is being given a bad name by companies making a fast buck out of untested stem cell therapies.

Western Populations Must Do More For Ukraine Even If "Costs Of Food & Fuel Are High": NATO Chief

 

Here we go again: top officials in the West warning their populations against "Ukraine fatigue", saying that 'sacrifices' must be made for the long-term despite the 'high costs' in blood and treasure of continuing to ramp up support for Ukraine. This time it's NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg making unusually blunt statements, addressing the common masses.

 

"We must prepare for the fact that it could take years. We must not let up in supporting Ukraine," he began by saying in an interview published Sunday by Germany’s Bild am Sonntag newspaper. He stressed this should be the case "even if the costs are high, not only for military support, also because of rising energy and food prices."

 

So it seems Western leaders who have been stoking what is now clearly a Russia-NATO proxy war in Ukraine are now increasingly content to say the quiet part out loud. And it's not even promised to be a momentary or short-lived "cost" for citizens of Europe or America, but years-long sacrifices must be made, we are told.

 

Stoltenberg explained, as if trying to preempt the expected majority of skeptics, that "the costs of food and fuel are nothing compared with those paid daily by the Ukrainians on the front line." He said further:

 

If Russian President Vladimir Putin should reach his objectives in Ukraine, like when he annexed Crimea in 2014, "we would have to pay an even greater price," Stoltenberg added.

 

This warning from Stoltenberg comes not only as Russian forces are steadily advancing over the whole of the Donbas, and amid a general shift in the media narrative strongly suggesting Ukrainian losses are much bigger than previously known, but as signs of popular pushback and anger among populations in Western countries begin to emerge, as billions of dollars are shoveled into Kiev while people suffer at home amid soaring food and gas prices.

 

In particular Stoltenberg is calling for more "state of the art weaponry" - and of course there's always the billions more from US taxpayers in Ukraine aid which apparently Washington is preparing to make indefinite. And yet last month The New York Times editorial board took note that "Americans have been galvanized by Ukraine's suffering, but popular support for a war far from U.S. shores will not continue indefinitely."

Bitcoin and others are based on a scam and was revealed here on this board a long time ago by me. The deep state stole my mathematical formula regarding the theory of prime numbers.

 

I sat with my mother watching a Carl Sagan documentary on the theories of the universe when he stated that prime numbers were one of the mysteries of the universe. I said either he is lying or incompetent. This angered my mother to no end and she challenged me to figure it out, we will make millions. I went upstairs and in less than two hours it was complete. I showed her the formula and had her try it. She refused as she couldn't do math and needed pen and paper to do times tables, yet she figured out the first primes out of 1000 without implements using my formula.

 

What I didn't realize was the deep state was listening to me through the cable box. You see, she thought I was incompetent because I couldn't find work anymore but I reminded her that I was a targeted individual after serving on 911. I worked Wall st 7 years before 911 as a network engineer/webmaster/programmer when the internet started out.

 

So what does prime numbers have to do with Bitcoins. Money is made by figuring out the next prime number to be used to encrypt the next large number for checkpoints. Bitcoin mining is renting machines from large cloud providers to crunch divisible numbers to see what is the next prime number in a sequence. To rent these machines cost real money. Companies are awarded huge amounts (think millions, billions, trillions) depending on the upward size of the prime.

 

Here is the catch, if you use my formula, you could have figured it out with your own computer because it is a formula not a test. So those in the know and part if the scam have 100% control of all wins and losses and can create a false economy based around this information. This also means all crypto can be broken much easier than brute force attacks.

 

I was never planning on revealing this formula regardless of award as it would have ruined our world. One day I found my notes missing, questioned my relative only later in the day to be mocked on my Roland 100 watt cube for my keyboard by deep state players. They said you have no clue what you have done for us, nice playing by the way. I knew what they had, when Samza came out they took distributed logs and created bitcoin records with these encrypted checkpoints.

Prozac/Fluoxetine & Imipramine (antidepressants): A 2011 study published in the journal Acta Poloniae Pharmaceutica found that curcumin compared favorably to both drugs in reducing depressive behavior in an animal model.[v] [for additional curcumin and depression research – 5 abstracts]

Aspirin (blood thinner): A 1986 in vitro and ex vivo study published in the journal Arzneimittelforschung found that curcumin has anti-platelet and prostacyclin modulating effects compared to aspirin, indicating it may have value in patients prone to vascular thrombosis and requiring anti-arthritis therapy.[vi] [for additional curcumin and anti-platelet research]

Anti-inflammatory Drugs: A 2004 study published in the journal Oncogene found that curcumin (as well as resveratrol) were effective alternatives to the drugs aspirin, ibuprofen, sulindac, phenylbutazone, naproxen, indomethacin, diclofenac, dexamethasone, celecoxib, and tamoxifen in exerting anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative activity against tumor cells.[vii] [for additional curcumin and anti-proliferative research – 15 abstracts]

Oxaliplatin (chemotherapy drug): A 2007 study published in the International Journal of Cancer found that curcumin compares favorably with oxaliplatin as an antiproliferative agenet in colorectal cell lines.[viii] [for additional curcumin and colorectal cancer research – 52 abstracts]

Metformin (diabetes drug): A 2009 study published in the journal Biochemitry and Biophysical Research Community explored how curcumin might be valuable in treating diabetes, finding that it activates AMPK (which increases glucose uptake) and suppresses gluconeogenic gene expression (which suppresses glucose production in the liver) in hepatoma cells. Interestingly, they found curcumin to be 500 times to 100,000 times (in the form known as tetrahydrocurcuminoids(THC)) more potent than metformin in activating AMPK and its downstream target acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC).[ix]

Border Patrol: Big Tech Platforms Being Used To Recruit Child Smugglers.

 

A U.S. Customs and Border Patrol report has revealed that criminal organizations smuggling illegal aliens into America have been relying on social media platforms to recruit minors to carry out their operations.

 

The report from Texas’ Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Border Patrol notes a “trend of Transnational Criminal Organization’s (TCO) using social media to recruit minors for their smuggling operations.”

 

The agency links the reliance on social media to the record-breaking numbers of migrants attempting to enter the U.S. illegally under President Joe Biden. “RGV agents have encountered more than 137K migrants between Oct. 1, to Dec. 31, 2021, which is a 163 percent increase over the same reporting period of the previous year,” revealed the agency.

 

“With an increase in illicit activity, TCOs require more manpower to carry out their operations. Social media has become an avenue for human smugglers to target juvenile drivers. TCOs are luring minors to smuggle migrants across border towns in the Rio Grande Valley and into the U.S. interior with the promise of fast cash,” explained Customs and Border Patrol.

 

“TCOs convince juvenile drivers that they will not face the same consequences as adults if apprehended or that law enforcement will disengage a pursuit if dangerous conditions are present,” adds the report.

 

Authorities have arrested drivers working on behalf of TCOs as young as 13-years-old.

 

RGV Chief Patrol Agent Brian S. Hastings stated: “This is an alarming trend, because many of these teenagers underestimate the severity of the crime. Not only can they be prosecuted and sent to jail, but they also endanger lives through their actions. I encourage parents to talk to their children and educate them on the potential consequences and dangers of this trend.”

 

The intersection between social media and illegal border crossing follows reports that platforms such as China’s TikTok and Facebook were allowing content from human traffickers on their platforms.

A US judge has requested the Biden administration to rule on whether Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman should be granted sovereign immunity in a civil complaint launched in the US by Hatice Cengiz, Jamal Khashoggi's partner, the journalist who was murdered by Saudi operatives in 2018.

 

A district court judge, John Bates, gave the US government until August 1 to declare its interests in the civil action or notify the court that it has no opinion on the matter.

 

The administration's decision might have a significant impact on the civil lawsuit, and it comes as Joe Biden faces criticism for breaking a campaign promise to make Saudi Arabia a "pariah" state.

 

A "pariah" no more?

 

The US president will meet the Saudi heir apparent later this month when he makes his first trip to Riyadh since taking office.

 

Cengiz filed a civil complaint against Prince Mohammed in the federal district court of Washington DC in October 2020, accusing him and other Saudi officials of acting in "conspiracy and with premeditation" when Saudi agents kidnapped, bound, drugged, tortured, and killed Khashoggi inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in 2018.

 

Did Biden betray his promise?

 

For supporters of Khashoggi's partner, who has been an outspoken advocate for justice for Khashoggi’s murder, any move by the US government to call for the crown prince to be granted sovereign immunity in the case would represent a betrayal of Biden’s promise to hold Saudi Arabia accountable.

 

“It would be preposterous and unprecedented for the administration to protect him. It would be the final nail in the coffin for attempts to hold Khashoggi’s murderers accountable,” said Abdullah Alaoudh, the research director of Dawn, a non-profit that promotes democracy in the Middle East that was founded by Khashoggi and a co-plaintiff on the case against the crown prince.

 

In an order issued on Friday, Judge Bates stated that he will hold a hearing on August 31 following petitions to dismiss the civil action filed by Prince Mohammed and others. The requests to dismiss the civil action are based on MBS' lawyers' arguments that the DC court lacks jurisdiction over him.

 

“In the court’s view, some of the grounds for dismissal advanced by defendants might implicate the interests of the United States; moreover, the court’s resolution of defendants’ motions might be aided by knowledge of the United States’ views,” Bates said.

 

Doctrine with a 1991 law

The judge stated that he was expressly encouraging the US government to submit a statement of interest about the applicability of the so-called act of state doctrine, which stipulates that the US should refrain from investigating the actions of another foreign government in its courts.

 

The doctrine, established by a 1991 law, allows Americans and non-citizens to bring legal claims in the United States for torture and extrajudicial killings committed in other countries; the applicability of head of state immunity in this case; and the United States' assessment of whether Saudi Arabia's sovereign interests would be jeopardized if the case were to proceed.

 

Amnesty International's Agnès Callamard, who investigated Khashoggi's murder in her previous role as UN special rapporteur on extrajudicial killings, called it "laughable" that MBS, whom she called "an almost-sovereign," could benefit from the head of state immunity after the US had publicly concluded that he most likely approved the operation to kill Khashoggi.

The Show Trials Begin

Thursday evening's disgraceful spectacle concocted by congressional Democrats and the media will go down in history – but not in the way they intended.

 

Far from shocking Americans with “new” testimony from a visibly terrified Ivanka Trump or a know-nothing Capitol police officer who described the Jan. 6 confrontations as “a war scene,” which it most certainly was not, Thursday's spectacle only reinforced the national divide between Trump supporters and the Democrats and the media elites.

 

Even Democrat strategists and media commentators admit that the hearings are not aimed at changing public opinion. "Instead, the committee's work is most clearly aimed at the top brass at the Department of Justice who will decide whether to bring charges against Trump and members of his inner circle," Jonathan Allen wrote in a commentary for NBC News.

 

That in itself should be enough to terrify any American who lived through the Cold War, or who read Kafka in high school or college.

 

We have entered an era of show trials, just like the extravaganzas produced by Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin in the 1930s.

 

The goal of the show trial is to intimidate and to deflect. In this case, the Democrats want to intimidate Donald Trump and his supporters, by threatening them with prosecution on charges of sedition for allegedly planning, encouraging, and supporting the rioters. (This is undoubtedly why Ivanka Trump looked like a deer in the headlights in the 16 second video clip of her testimony Rep. Liz Cheney aired at the hearing on a giant screen above the committee members' heads).

 

The deflection piece is what the Democrats don't want you to see, and have been desperately trying to keep Americans from looking at since November 3, 2020.

 

From the beginning, they used the phrase the "Big Lie," a term introduced by Hitler's propaganda chief, Josef Goebbels, to describe efforts by President Trump to call attention to rampant evidence of election irregularities. You cannot read or watch elite media news coverage of the election that doesn't refer to "Trump's unproven lies" about the election.

 

But the more the American people looked, the more they believed President Trump and their lying eyes. How was it, in the most tech-savvy country in the world, that most of us went to bed at midnight on election night with TV images of unassailable Trump margins of victory in all five swing states with 98% of the vote counted, and woke up the next morning to see those margins had collapsed and somehow only 92% or 94% percent of the votes had now been counted?

 

In the months between the election and January 6, we saw dozens of lawsuits filed in these swing states, with thousands of eyewitness affidavits, filed upon penalty of criminal perjury, describing clear-cut violations of election law, and all of them were dismissed. As I wrote at the time, it made many Americans lose faith in our system of justice.

 

By the time January 6 rolled around, Americans were angry, frustrated, and disillusioned. They believed they had been swindled out of their vote and their president, but they didn't know what to do about it. Indeed, our system had failed the people it was designed to protect.

 

Because Americans would not and will not let go of their belief that the 2020 election was stolen no matter how much the elite media pounded them with lies, Congressional Democrats impeached President Trump a second time after he left office.

With Plenty Of GOP Help, Senate Shoots Down Rand Paul's Balanced-Budget Resolution

 

Every few years, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul puts forth a quixotic proposal to balance the federal budget. It's not the financial math that makes it a daunting task, but rather Washington's bipartisan addiction to spending.

 

It predictably fails each time, but accomplishes two things in the process. First, it puts senators who've espoused fiscal discipline on the record as opposing it when the rubber meets the road. Second, over time, Paul's proposals illustrate the insidious effect of kicking the can down the road—as each new proposal requires bigger cuts to push Uncle Sam to breakeven.

 

Paul's first such budget resolution, in 2011, didn't even cut spending. By merely freezing it for five years, the budget was projected to reach balance this year.

 

In 2018, Paul put forth his "Penny Plan," which would balance the budget in five years by cutting just one cent out of every non-Social Security dollar for five consecutive years.

 

In 2019, the government's worsening fiscal condition forced the Penny Plan to become the "Pennies Plan," with the five-year plan now requiring consecutive 2-cents-per-dollar cuts for five years.

 

Things have gotten a lot worse. In just the two years since Paul's last proposal, our federal overlords have added an astounding $11 trillion to the national debt. Interest payments on the now-$30.5 trillion balance have grown by 32%. As a result, Paul's proposal this week required cutting six cents out each spending dollar for five years.

 

Bernie Sanders railed against what he described as "massive cuts to programs the American people need." However, as Paul noted in his own remarks, “All this plan does is return to 2019 spending levels. If the federal government spent at 2019 levels this year, we would have a $388 billion surplus."

 

The measure was defeated by a 67-29 vote. Faithful to their big government values, no Democrats backed the measure.

 

However, 17 "fiscally conservative" Republicans voted against it: Blunt (MO), Boozman (AZ), Burr (NC), Capito (WV), Collins (ME), Cornyn (TX), Graham (SC), Inhofe (OK), McConnell (KY), Murkowski (AR), Portman (OH), Rounds (SD), Sasse (NE), Shelby (AL), Thune (SD), Tillis (NC) and Young (IN).

 

Dodging Paul's intent to put everyone's true fiscal colors on the record, four Republicans skipped the vote altogether: Daines (MT), Moran (KS), Toomey (PA) and Wicker (MS).

 

Things were already bleak, but the fiscal math is now taking a sharp turn for the worse. Today's rising interest rates translate into more money required just to cover interest payments.

 

According to the Congressional Budget Office's latest baseline, interest expense will triple from nearly $400 billion in 2022 to $1.2 trillion in 2032—totaling $8.1 trillion over that horizon. As terrible as that sounds, it's going to be a major understatement.

 

That's because CBO's Treasury rate assumptions are in the midst of being mugged by reality. For its baseline, CBO assumes the 3-month T-bill rate will average 0.9% this calendar year, but it's already spiked to 1.69%. Similarly, CBO assumes the 10-year will average 2.4% in 2022 and only rise to 3.8% ten years from now. It was 3.28% on Thursday.

 

At least Rand Paul can say he tried.

Georgia Sheriff And Police Sergeant Threaten To Arrest Each Other During Screaming Match

Hiawassee, GA – Bodycam video captured the moment Towns County Sheriff Kenneth Henderson interrupted a Hiawassee police sergeant’s traffic stop in June and started screaming at him (video below).

 

The Towns County Sheriff’s Officer and the Hiawassee Police Department have had an ongoing dispute over boundaries for traffic stops, WXIA reported.

 

The sheriff’s department has accused Hiawassee officers of pursuing suspects and traffic violators outside of the city limits.

 

The two agencies use the same dispatch center but have no other overlap of command, WXIA reported.

 

The argument between the two law enforcement officers occurred when Sheriff Henderson stopped to find out what was going on during a traffic stop that Hiawassee Police Sergeant Tracy James had made on June 24.

 

Sgt. James had just handed the driver of the vehicle he’d stopped a citation when the sheriff rolled up and started asking his own questions, WXIA reported.

 

Bodycam video from Sgt. James showed that Sheriff Henderson approached the driver’s window and asked him if he’d been pursed from inside the city limits or stopped right where he was.

 

The sheriff thanked the driver and then turned to start lecturing Sgt. James.

 

But the Hiawassee police sergeant wasn’t having it, the video showed.

 

“Go pull the video at Bolero,” Sgt. James told him.

 

But the video showed the sheriff wasn’t listening and pointed his finger at the sergeant in a threatening manner.

 

“You get on my traffic stop again, I will arrest you!” Sgt. Tracy James told Sheriff Henderson.

 

“I’ll arrest you right now,” the sheriff retorted.

 

“Do it, buddy. Do it,” the sergeant said as the bodycam showed him walking away from Sheriff Henderson and back to his patrol vehicle.

Sgt. James tried again to explain to the sheriff that traffic cameras would prove that he had initiated the traffic stop within city limits, the video showed.

 

“There’s cameras at Bolero and there’s cameras at Napa that…” he started to explain but the sheriff cut him off.

 

“Shut your f-king mouth,” Sheriff Henderson told the police sergeant, referring to him as “boy” more than once.

 

“Don’t talk to me like that, I’m not your ‘boy,’” Sgt. James shot back.

 

But that only made the sheriff angrier, the video showed.

 

“You’re a f-kboy! You’re a f-kboy,” Sheriff Henderson yelled at Sgt. James.

 

The video showed that the sheriff followed the sergeant to his vehicle and continued yelling at him the entire time.

 

Instead of yelling back, Sgt. James thanked the sheriff a few times as he jumped back into his cruiser.

 

Sgt. James did not lose his temper during the exchange and didn’t use any foul language until after he was back inside his vehicle with the door shut.

 

At that point, bodycam video showed he called Sheriff Henderson a “motherf-ker,” WXIA reported.

 

Hiawassee is a tiny city on Lake Chatuge in Towns County, near the North Carolina border.

 

Sources told WXIA that Hiawassee is so small, many drivers don’t stop for police until after they have crossed out of the city limits, WXIA reported.

 

It wasn’t the first time that Sheriff Henderson has gotten into it with the same Hiawassee officer.

 

Sources told WXIA that on Memorial Day weekend, the sheriff ordered Sgt. James to stop a pursuit that had crossed out of the city limits and the sergeant ignore his order.

 

Hiawassee Police Department policy allows an officer in “hot pursuit” to follow a suspect into another jurisdiction.

 

WXIA made an open records request for “recording(s) of Towns County Sheriff Kenneth ‘Ode’ Henderson talking with and/or about Hiawassee officer(s).”

 

One of the audio recordings that was released contained a clip of the sheriff telling his deputies that Hiawassee officers are “enemies” of the sheriff’s office and not to fraternize with them.

“We regret that this unfortunate event occurred,” the statement read. “The Hiawassee Police Department will continue to strive for excellence in safety and service to our citizens and visitors while working with all public agencies to accomplish that goal.”
