Anons, I have some insider info re: fast & furious. This is all anecdotal. However, any of you than have done digs in this area, I think this will help you.

I just red pilled the shit out of my friend, and he started talking.

He is a truck driver and has FFL, sec clearance to transport weapons & hazmat materials for DOD. He told me what he could about his involvement in the fast & furious op.

Here is a transcript of our conversation.

Driver: “That they sure did and still do.

Remember a few years back the cia dudes that got shot up in Mexico in that suburban? I used to haul them to the Laredo crossing. Small world hu?

Iran contra was muh wake up call btw.”

Me: “Those guns ended up killing Americans in Mexico”

Driver: “Yup.

The fatal flaw was the door lock opens when it's in park. It's easily disabled in the settings menu but noone did.

Alot of ffl dealers were brought into the whole walking part.”

Me: “explain”

Driver: “I used to also haul DOD stuff in sealed trailers and the bill of lading only said "contents not to be disclosed" when I got pulled over or inspected at a scale I'd hand the officer my paper work and they would immediately hand it back and tell me have a great day.”

Me: “To Mexico?”

Driver: “Swear to God.

Yes to Mexico but I dropped the trailers near international bridge one in a secure yard. The ffl guys were told to sell the weapons regardless to straw buyers, that's the walking part. Along with other supply lines I'm sure.

The high security loads paid 300 a day flat. Plus per deim.”

Me: so what does walking mean in this context?”

Driver: “They were told to let the guns "walk". Ordered and or paid or both to let them "walk".”

Me: “So, you would drop trailers in yard by intl bridge. What did other FFLs do? Were they meeting with buyers? And were you going through Arizona?”

Driver: “I never saw anything. I picked up at generic yards in TX and AZ and took them to Laredo and dropped the trailers in the yard. Sometimes long island.

Everything out of LI and Columbus went to Laredo. When I wasn't on dod I hauled cash to and from denver mint.

That all went to obscure unmarked buildings and facilities all over the place.

After calling off the launch of a smart display device earlier this year, Facebook is reportedly planning to announce it next week. Here are the details from Cheddar‘s Alex Heath, who cites unnamed sources:

The main feature will be video chat, and Facebook will use facial recognition to tag users and follow them around the room. (Amazon’s Echo Show and Google-powered smart displays don’t identify users’ faces, though some security cameras do.)

The device will have a privacy shutter to disable the camera tracking, but amazingly, Facebook may have only thought to include this in response to its own recent privacy scandals.

While the device was once rumored to rely a homegrown voice assistant to handle basic commands, Portal may instead lean on Amazon’s Alexa for things like music, recipes, and news briefings.

Portal could come in small and large sizes for $300 and $400, respectively.

We reached out to Facebook for comment and will update if we hear back.

Recent polls have shown that a majority of Americans don’t trust Facebook to protect their personal information. For the most part, this doesn’t appear to have stopped people from using the social network, but buying a Facebook-powered, always-on video camera is a much bigger ask than habitually opening an app. We’ll see how the company pitches it to the public soon enough.

According to NYT, the sources were either briefed on Rosenstein's plans, or learned about it from the files of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who was fired after being disgraced by an inspector general investigation. ABC News, which also reported the story, cited sources familiar with McCabe's files.

Mr. Rosenstein made the remarks about secretly recording Mr. Trump and about the 25th Amendment in meetings and conversations with other Justice Department and F.B.I. officials. Several people described the episodes, insisting on anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. The people were briefed either on the events themselves or on memos written by F.B.I. officials, including Andrew G. McCabe, then the acting bureau director, that documented Mr. Rosenstein’s actions and comments.

None of Mr. Rosenstein’s proposals apparently came to fruition. It is not clear how determined he was about seeing them through, though he did tell Mr. McCabe that he might be able to persuade Attorney General Jeff Sessions and John F. Kelly, then the secretary of homeland security and now the White House chief of staff, to mount an effort to invoke the 25th Amendment.

According to the NYT, this all happened during the spring of 2017, shortly after Trump cited a letter that Rosenstein had penned criticizing former FBI Director James Comey's handling of the Clinton probe as justification to fire Comey. Rosenstein reportedly felt he had been "used" by the president as an excuse to fire Comey.

Rosenstein also tried to recruit some of his would-be co-conspirators to surreptitiously record Trump in the Oval Office.

Mr. Rosenstein then raised the idea of wearing a recording device or "wire," as he put it, to secretly tape the president when he visited the White House. One participant asked whether Mr. Rosenstein was serious, and he replied animatedly that he was.

May’s Statement on No-Deal Brexit Preparations is ‘Dreadful’ - Sturgeon

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - First Minister of Scotland blasted UK Prime Minister Theresa May's announcement on London continuing preparations for a no-deal Brexit and noted that "the only remotely workable way" is for the United Kingdom to stay in the Single Market and the Customs Union.

"PM [May’s] statement was dreadful. The EU view was bluntly expressed yesterday but not new — she just hasn’t been listening. If her tactic now is to double down on the Chequers dead duck and then blame EU for a no deal, she will do huge damage to all those she is supposed to serve," First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon wrote on Twitter on Friday.

There was no other option for London in Brexit than to stay both in the Single Market and the Customs Union, the Scottish minister underlined stressing that if PM was not prepared, then "Brexit shouldn’t happen".

"‘No deal’ or ‘no detail‘ Brexit simply not acceptable — especially for Scotland, where we did not vote for this," Sturgeon stressed.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn joined criticism of May’s plan on Brexit, calling Theresa May’s Brexit negotiating strategy "a disaster" and urging both London and Brussels to end "political games."

Corbyn also noted in a statement, released by his party’s press service, that "the Tories have spent more time arguing among themselves than negotiating with the EU" and "from day one, the Prime Minister has looked incapable of delivering a good Brexit deal for Britain."

Earlier in the day, May said that no-deal in the divorce between London and Brussels is highly likely as the European Union’s rejection of the Chequers Brexit plan has led the sides into an "impasse." The prime minister noted that Brussels' options for the United Kingdom – either staying in the European Economic Area and the Customs Union or a basic free trade agreement with Northern Ireland remaining in the Customs Union – are completely unacceptable for London.

According to the Chequers plan, adopted by the UK cabinet in July, London and Brussels could create a free trade area for goods and maintain a "common rulebook" for all goods. The European Union, however, rejected the proposal as undermining the single market.
