Amazon Admits Employees Have Secretly Watched Ring Camera Customers

 

In a letter to U.S. senators, tech behemoth Amazon admits that it has fired employees discovered to have been spying on customers using the company’s Ring cameras.

 

Although the Ring cameras were originally marketed as a way to see who’s standing outside the door before opening it, many users have installed the surveillance equipment inside the house.

 

Ring's eight-page letter was a response to inquiries made by five U.S. senators regarding the company’s security policies and findings of the company’s internal audits. In November 2019 Senators Ron Wyden, Chris Van Hollen, Edward J. Markey, Christopher A. Coons, and Gary C. Peters co-signed the letter looking for answers to questions about stories of privacy breaches being reported in the media.

 

The letter to legislators, signed by Amazon Vice President of Public Policy Brian Huseman, explains that Ring received four complaints of its employees viewing of Ring data “that exceeded what was necessary for their job functions.” Huseman reports in the letter that “after determining that the individual violated company policy, the individual was terminated.”

 

It is unclear whether Huseman means that one individual in each of the four complaints was fired, or whether the abuse of access to data reported to Ring resulted in the termination of only one of the employees investigated by Ring.

If there is any mystery surrounding Soleimani’s death it is why there was such a long delay, as he was known to be the hand fomenting mischief in Iraq for years. Respected and feared even by Iran’s religious leaders, he walked openly throughout Iraq while conferring with his disciples. As is known, the Middle East is afflicted with religious battles between the Sunni and Shia factions. Iran and Assad, the leader of Syria, are Shia. Saudi Arabia, a US ally, is Sunni. Hussein, the deposed leader of Iraq was Sunni. ISIS was formed from the remnants of his guard when Hussein was deposed by the US.

 

Where not discussed openly in the media, there have been secret End Times wars where factions wanting ultimate control of Planet Earth try to foment World War III, via various means. Instigating religious battles, as was attempted during the Notre Dame arson, is one approach. Creating a major war between Iran and the US is another. McCain was executed by the Tribunals for assisting ISIS. Though Obama gave lip service to repressing nuclear development by Iran, sending a bribe of over 1.5 billion annually to Iran, no nuclear inspection followed. The Obama shadow government whispered to Iran that the good times would return.

 

Meanwhile, ISIS appeared to be defeated, but despite Baghdadi’s death in October there were hints that it was regrouping. Baghdadi, an acknowledged leader of ISIS, was Sunni. But the attack on the Baghdad embassy in December was done by Hezbollah, who are Shia and an Iranian ally. Thus with Hezbollah attacking Israel, a US ally, and the US strongly allied with the Sunni Saudis, the battle lines were drawn.

 

Soleimani had convinced himself that he was invincible, actually believing the reassurances from Obama’s shadow government that President Trump was soon to be removed and business as usual would return. Even Pelosi, during her cooperation with coup attempts, felt the US Military would turn on President Trump. Where does this leave Iran? Iran does not want war with the US, nor do China and Russia wish to see this outcome. Meanwhile, where the head of the snake among both Sunni and Shia backed terrorists has been removed, peace in the Middle East will continue to be elusive.

Ok, here's my '2 irish whiskey' take on Harry and Meghan.

 

We're watching a movie.

 

I believe Harry got caught up in spying on POTUS and was a backchannel to Obama.

 

In July 2018, Trump presented the evidence to the Queen on Harry's treason and Andrews racket with the blackmail (like the Queen didn't already know).

 

The plan was to have Andrew leave quietly and when he didn't, White Hats dropped evidence on him till he was forced out.

 

Harry, who has been told to leave the Royal Family at least a year ago, was forced out to cover for Andrew's crimes.

 

Basically FISA is already being de-classified to get rid of these people, one by one.

 

If you look at the evidence, Harry started patenting 'Sussex Royal' in July of 2018, about the same time Trump visited the UK.

US To Remove China "Currency Manipulator" Designation Ahead Of Treade Deal; Yuan Jumps

 

For anyone still seeking definitive confirmation that the Treasury's "Currency Manipulator" designation is nothing more than a political tool, here it is: moments ago Bloomberg reported that just five months after the Treasury slammed China as a currency manipulator on August 5 when the trade war between the two nations was near its apex, the US would lift said "manipulator" tag hours ahead of the Phase One trade deal which is now set to be announced to much fanfare on Jan 15.

 

According to the report, the Treasury Department will make the move in the latest semi-annual currency report, which is expected to be released ahead of Jan 15 after being delayed as the U.S. and China finalize a “phase one” trade pact.

 

As we reported at the time, On August 5 Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin first formally labeled China a currency-manipulator since the days of the Clinton administration, a move that further escalated the trade war with Beijing after the country’s central bank allowed the yuan to fall in retaliation to new U.S. tariffs. The designation followed just hours after the Yuan tumbled below the critical level of 7 against the dollar.

 

And since it is now clear that this designation was merely a political ploy to push China, now that a deal is in sight, the designation is being lifted.

 

The administration had at one point considered maintaining the label and instead announcing it would monitor the yuan with the possibility of lifting the designation in August of this year, according to the people.

 

Mnuchin’s August 2019 announcement prompted authorities in Beijing to increase transparency around how they manage the yuan. Some of that data has provided support for Treasury’s view that the People’s Bank of China engages in competitive devaluations of its currency, the people said.

 

ronically, when China branded a currency manipulator it was for devaluing its currency when in reality Beijing has been fighting tooth and nail to keep its currency stronger than it should be based on the shadow outflows from the country's closed capital account; as a result economists slammed the August decision: the IMF said in September the yuan is fairly valued and that there’s no evidence of manipulation, noting that China’s weakening currency could also be attributed to a slowdown in growth.

 

More to the point, China also doesn’t meet the criteria outlined in a 2015 U.S. law for formally designating a country a currency-manipulator. Mnuchin instead relied on a 1988 trade law that has a looser definition of currency manipulation to justify the claim. He did so after the yuan broke the 7 per dollar level for the first time since 2008, drawing Trump’s ire.

 

As a reminder, the August announcement was made in a press release, outside the normal issuance of the report. That left currency strategists and policy experts without a full explanation for the decision. Treasury’s currency report examines 20 countries for possible currency manipulation, a number that was increased from 12 in May.

 

And, as Bloomberg discloses, "Trump was involved in drafting the press release, which on his direction refers to China as a “Currency Manipulator,” using capital letters."

 

Hinting at what's to come, last October Mnuchin said that if a trade deal with China were signed, he would consider removing the manipulator tag, saying that signing an agreement would be “a big step in the right direction.” And now that a deal is imminent, this is precisely what has happened.

 

Following the bloomberg report, the Yuan rose to fresh session highs, with the USDCNH dropping to levels not seen since July.

How do banks fail, softly or with a hard crash? The next big wave of Wi-Fi technology, 802.11ax, is going to become more commonplace in enterprise installations over the course of the coming year, just as the marketing teams for the makers of Wi-Fi equivalent will have you believe. Yet the rosiest predictions of revolutionary change in what enterprise Wi-Fi is capable of are still a bit farther off than 2020, according to industry experts.

 

The crux of the matter is that, while access points with 802.11ax’s Wi-Fi 6 branding will steadily move into enterprise deployments in, the broader Wi-Fi ecosystem will not be dominated by the new standard for several years, according to Farpoint Group principal Craig Mathias.

A previously unnoticed passage in Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on federal surveillance abuse suggests Bruce Ohr and his compatriots were willing to bargain with a Russian oligarch to take down Donald Trump.

Two-hundred-plus pages into the IG report, while discussing former Associate Deputy Attorney General Ohr’s continued contacts with Crossfire Hurricane dossier author Christopher Steele, Horowitz revealed a significant detail that to date has been overlooked: “On December 7, 2016, Ohr conveyed an interagency meeting (including representatives from the FBI) regarding strategy in dealing with Russian Oligarch 1.”

 

The IG report added that after the meeting “one of Ohr’s junior Department colleagues who attended the meeting” asked “Ohr about why the U.S. government would support trying to work with Russian Oligarch 1”—the moniker used in the IG report to refer to one of Vladimir Putin’s closest confidants, the aluminum oligarch Oleg Deripaska.

Ohr’s reported response is shocking: “Ohr told her that Steele provided information that the Trump campaign had been corrupted by the Russians,” and that the corruption went all the way to president-elect Trump. Ohr’s junior colleague told the IG that Ohr explained “this information was ‘the basis for the [Deripaska] discussion” in the interagency meeting they had just left.

DARPA Names Qualifiers for the Subterranean Challenge Urban Circuit

 

Seventeen teams have qualified to participate in the DARPA Subterranean (SubT) Challenge Urban Circuit. Eleven teams will compete in the Systems competition at Satsop Business Park in Elma, Washington, Feb. 18-27, 2020. Eight teams qualified to participate in the Virtual competition, which will run Jan. 23-30. Two teams will compete in both Virtual and Systems events.

 

The DARPA Subterranean Challenge seeks to better equip warfighters and first responders to explore human-made tunnel systems, urban underground, and natural cave networks, while decreasing risk to human lives. The SubT Challenge Systems and Virtual competitions aim to create a community of multidisciplinary teams from wide-ranging fields to foster breakthrough technologies in autonomy, perception, networking, and mobility for underground environments. The Tunnel Circuit took place in August 2019. The Cave Circuit is planned for August 2020, and the Final Event incorporating all three underground environments is targeted for August 2021.

 

To compete in the Systems competition, each team had to demonstrate baseline performance capabilities and appropriate safety measures. Teams in the Systems competition will deploy autonomous ground and aerial systems to attempt to accurately identify and map as many artifacts as possible along two competition courses. Each course will include 20 artifacts representing items a first responder or service member may encounter in an urban underground environment.

 

Qualified Virtual competitors will submit their solutions through the SubT Virtual Portal during the submission window. Selecting from a repository of robot models and a variety of sensors, each team can assemble an esports style solution to map, navigate, and search dark, dangerous, and unpredictable underground scenarios.

I initially thought the "art of the deal" persona was a bunch of crap, but I have come to realize it may be very real. Trump understands that EVERYTHING is a negotiation. Negotiating and deal making constitutes every molecule of Trump's being and makes up his entire psychology. Trump is the quintessential negotiator. He negotiates every time he breathes. His entire life has been predicated on negotiating multi-million dollar deals over and over until it has just become second nature.

 

He understands thats how the world really works. You have your objectives and I have mine, and although they may be conflicting or even opposite, we have to meet in the middle and agree on a price. He has specialized in this process most of his life. Thats how every bit of foreign policy and lobbying and piece of legislation gets done.

 

He doesnt try to paint a utopian image and fool us into thinking that its not that way. And he doesnt pass value judgements on whether or not it should be that way. He just recognizes the TRUE realities of human nature that exist and through negotiation and deal making he navigates them.

 

He literally views everything through the spectre of negotiation. He's negotiating everybody and everything he comes in contact with at all times. It's his worldview. Its the Trump Social Theory. Just like Marxists view everything in the world through a class conflict paradigm, and feminists view everything in the world through a male dominance paradigm, and some racial theorists view everything in the world through a racial conflict/oppression paradigm, Trump views literally everything in the world through the DEAL paradigm.

 

On his first day at the white house, the REAL deep state handlers approached him and I imagine it went something like, "Mr. Trump we probably dont have to tell you this, you probably know we're in charge here, and all that draining of the swamp, ending foreign wars, fundamental reform, America 1st stuff you were promising isnt going to fly. I dont know for sure who killed JFK. But it was obviously elements of the deep state. I have a general theory that he simply wasnt willing to negotiate on some deeply held belief. He wasnt willing to compromise on something. He wasnt willing to "play ball" as they say in American politics (and in the mob.)

 

It may have been a just and noble position. Some people say he wanted to eliminate the fed. Who knows. Either way, what i think happened is JFK defied the deep state on some key issue and instead of coming to a deal with them, he decided to take his case directly to the American people, bypassing the deep state completely. He overplayed his hand and underestimated his opponent. So he died. But what did that accomplish? Whatever he was standing up for or against surely happened, and now the deep state just hardens its shell and gets more removed from any oversight, and more belligerent.

 

But if you recognize the deep state as an inherent material reality of the American system, something that will be there whether we want it or not, you have to come to a decision point if you want to change it. Should you fight against it? Well that may be the inherently moral thing to do, but is it the best strategic thing to do? No. Because you cant beat it. You'll only anger it and become further removed from any chance of changing it in any way.

 

So whats the next best thing? It is said "If you cant beat em, join em" But actually the best option is if you cant beat them NEGOTIATE with them. In other words "play ball."

 

Establish your position firmly. In fact you EXAGGERATE your position loudly, then when you finally come to the table and they see your terms are actually reasonable, they are willing to come off their position that much more.

 

This is pure negotiation psychology at work. And its how things really happen and how things get done anytime humans are doing them. Trump understands this completely. I think the deep state actually respects him to a degree because he is the ultimate "ball player" so to speak. So much so, theres at least an argument to be made that Trump might be playing THEM.

He recognizes them as a reality that he has to navigate. And he does it through deal making. He understands the-neo cons and the military contractors and the DOD and the Pentagon industrial complex are going to maintain their strangleholds. They arent going anywhere. Through lobbyists and various other means, they will make sure one 5th of our GDP or 3.5 trillion dollars goes to them. You cant avoid that right now. That's an entrenched reality in the American system. So what can you do if you actually want to change that and end the wars and focus more on domestic spending? You dont try to defeat it head on. You do it slowly and incrementally through negotiations and making deals.

 

Not necessarily saying he is, but the argument could be made i think.

 

Just follow the logic. Like we said this 4 trillion for military is happening either every year either way. But what if we create a new branch of the military that focuses on space exploration, and lets divert a few billion of that bloated DOD budget over there. Then we'll declare the border an emergency situation which allows us to divert a few more billion there. See the pattern yet?

 

Its a win win. You guys get your way, which was going to happen anyway, and Trump moves the needle just a bit. Those billions that were bound for foreign military contractors in places we shouldnt be are now being used on our continent on our southern border, just like he campaigned on. Its a start in the right direction, eventhough im not huge on the wall, at least its being spent in this country and not being used to blow people up. And he may be just diverting funds from one part of the deep state to another, but it seems like some progress.

 

Trump came out loudly attacking opiates. He made the words "opiate crisis" a household term. So he vilifies big pharma publicly. Then he sits down at the table with them and he actually has reasonable terms they agree and small change actually happens. We have price ceilings and hospital price transparency coming for the first time in history. We have big pharma executives being prosecuted for the first time in history. He's vilified opiates to the extent demand has reduced for pharmaceutical production. Most of our presence in Afghanistan was centered around opium. He's driven down the global price just by tweeting about it.

So he takes an outlandish brash position and sets unrealistic expectations in people's minds about what he wants. Then he actually brings them to the table and incremental small things that never would have happened actually get done.

 

Not only is Trump hustling the deep state, he's hustling Iran, Israel, Iraq and the entire mideast. He's hustling the the United nations, The EU, britain, democrats, the entire US and world media, and yes even the American public to a certain extent. He hustles everything and everyone he gets in contact with on a daily basis. He hustles Baron and Melania at home. But it may not be a bad thing or a bad hustle. He understands they are all material realities he must navigate ad deal with. He understands these are all forces of inertia that he as to flow with. He uses one's momentum against another. He has to capitulate all sides. He has to grease all wheels to move anything.

 

But to what end? His unquenchable ego? Could be. Or it could be a person actually secretly working to bring real change of the unmoveable elements of big pharma, big medicine, and big war The 3 biggest problems in the US? Or maybe both. Perhaps we can harness the power of that ego for good. Maybe his ego is so immense that he wants to be known as the dealmaker that made unmakeable deals happen. Perhaps we can use that ego as leverage to slowly and incrementally "deal" the deep state, not into submission, because they'll always be here, but at least into terms that are slightly more agreeable and more tenable for the world and for the American people. If thats the case im all for it.

 

I havent read any Q anon, but someone posted a quote from him that I think sums up quite well what could be going on in terms of Trumps relation to the deep state.

 

"If you're gonna wrassle the Devil, you gotta get in real close so you throw the fucker around."

 

And thats what could very well be happening. He cant move the unmoveable objects that are entrenched in America like the deep state, but he has to get close to them to shake their hand and make a deal.

Global debt shattering records - IIF

 

Global debt is expected to climb to a new all-time high of more than $257 trillion in the coming months, the Institute of International Finance estimated on Monday, adding there was no sign of it retreating either.

 

The amount works out at around $32,500 for each of the 7.7 billion people on planet and more than 3.2 times the world’s annual economic output, but the staggering numbers don’t stop there. Total debt across the household, government, financial and non-financial corporate sectors surged by some $9 trillion in the first three quarters of 2019 alone.

 

In mature markets total debt now tops $180 trillion or 383% of these countries’ combined GDP, while in emerging markets it is double what it was in 2010 at $72 trillion, driven mainly by a $20 trillion surge in corporate debt. “Spurred by low interest rates and loose financial conditions, we estimate that total global debt will exceed $257 trillion in Q1 2020,” the IIF said, adding non-financial sector debt was now approaching $200 trillion.

 

Global government debt alone is set to break above $70 trillion.

 

China’s debt is fast approaching 310% of its GDP — one of the highest in emerging markets - and following a marked slowdown in 2017/18 when Beijing made a big push for deleveraging, there has been a pick-up again in corporate debt. China’s government debt also grew at its fastest annual pace last year since 2009, the IIF said, and household debt and general government debt are now at all-time highs of 55% of GDP.

 

All parts are the world are loading up however. Household debt-to-GDP have reached a record high in Belgium, Finland, France, Lebanon, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. Non-financial corporate debt to GDP topped in Canada, France, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States. Government debt-to-GDP has also hit an all-time high in Australia and the United States.

 

The IIF’s data is based on Bank for International Settlements and International Monetary Fund figures as well as its own. Another potentially risky trend is that the amount of emerging market ‘hard currency’ debt - debt sold in a major currency like the dollar that can become hard to pay back if a crisis hits a local currency’s value - reached $8.3 trillion in Q3 2019, $4 trillion higher than a decade ago.

 

Dollar debt accounts for over 85% of this increase.

Explanation: When the sun goes through a period of abnormally low solar activity, the magnetic field strength of the planets decrease. Because these magnetic fields act like planetary "force fields" they function to protect the planets from excess radiation whether from the sun (solar wind or a CME) or from cosmic rays originating from deep space. This increased radiation (19% increase of the next decade) impacting Earth is likely causing increases in earthquakes, volcanoes, and extreme weather.

In one week, President Obama will allow what remains of the United States'

control over the Internet to pass to a California non-profit organization,

the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). This is

a reckless and dangerous decision that has serious national security

consequences that have not been fully considered.

 

Currently, ICANN has a contract with the Department of Commerce's National

Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) to manage the

naming and numbering functions associated with the Internet. The most

important of these is the assignment of Internet Protocol Addresses

(IP Addresses) to domain names. This is called the IANA function --

Internet Assigned Numbers Authority. ICANN performs this function pursuant

to its contract, then NTIA reviews the assignment, and authorizes Verisign

to post the IP Address to the "A server" -- the authoritative root zone

server that is the "master" file of all IP Addresses. This A server is

replicated to all of the other root zone servers globally on a daily basis.

IDF to Establish Field Hospital in Haiti

 

At this time the members of the delegation of the Home Front Command have begun receiving vaccinations and medical information in preparation for their departure to the Haiti disaster zone. Members of the delegation will receive 5 vaccinations against swine flu, diphtheria, salmonella, yellow fever A and B, and treatment against malaria.

 

This evening or early tomorrow morning, the IDF delegation is scheduled to depart for Haiti, where they will build a Medical Corps field hospital and will aid in Search and Rescue missions. The delegation will depart in two ELAL charter airplanes: one will carry Medical Corps and Home Front Command personnel, and the other will carry the medical and logistical equipment to be used in the field hospital.

 

The delegation will consist of approximately 220 people, among whom are Search and Rescue teams of the Home Front Command and medical teams of the Head Medical Officer headquarters. Leading the delegation will be the Commander of the Land Search and Rescue Squadron of the Home Front Command, Brig. Gen. (res.) Shalom Ben-Aryeh. Delegation members are preparing to sty in Haiti for at least two weeks. At the end of this period there will be a situation evaluation to determine if the delegation will continue their activities in the region.

 

The field hospital will have 40 doctors, 24 nurses, medics, X-Ray technicians and paramedics. Also to be brought over from Israel to Haiti are: a pharmacy, X-Ray equipment, an interview room for registering wounded people, two surgery rooms, a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit), a pediatrics ward, a maternity ward, a surgical ward and an internal care ward. According to the assessment, the field hospital will treat approximately 500 people per day in addition to performing preliminary surgeries. At this stage about 10 tons of medical equipment will be flown to Haiti from Israel. In total, the field hospital will have about 90 beds, 66 intensive care beds and 2 delivery beds.

 

In addition, the delegation will be joined by a psychiatrist and a Mental Health Officer who will treat the local wounded population, and if need by, they will also treat the Israeli delegation members.

 

The Search and Rescue personnel of the Home Front Command will include about 30 searchers and tens of operations personnel, logistics and operational intelligence officials, computer networking and communication department personnel, and search dogs. Additional experts in the search and rescue field and in population aid will join as well.

 

Members of the preliminary staff that departed on Tuesday to Haiti are currently crystallizing the full picture of the situation in the disaster zone and are coordinating aid activities including organizing transportation and the location for the field hospital until the Israeli delegation arrives.

 

The delegation will also include a media pool of reporters (Israeli television cameraman, a radio reporter, a newspaper reporter, and an international reporter) who were chosen in a lottery held by the Reporters’ Union, and was drawn by a lawyer.

 

Today all members of the delegation will receive detailed briefing in Ben Gurion Airport by GOC Home Front Command, Maj. Gen. Yair Golan, and by the commander of the delegation, regarding the mission and the actions needed to ensure their personal and medical safety in the region.

The commander of the field hospital to be built in the area, Lt. Col. Dr. Itzik Kries, told the IDF Website, “We are going to build a very large and diversified hospital in the area, which will be able to treat hundreds of injured people. 10 hours after our arrival it will operate in a basic way, and 15-20 hours form our arrival it will be fully operational.”

 

The commander of the Medical Center, Lt. Col. Moshe Meyuchad from the Medical Corps explained, “The majority of the assistance being sent over is from the existing equipment of the Medical Equipment Center. We are sending over all of the medicines that exist in the hospitals, tens of thousands of syringes, CPR equipment, oxygen bags, respirators and much more equipment. We are also sending equipment that is non-medical, such as sheets, pajamas, crutches, walkers, diapers and pacifiers. We see in this departure a huge opportunity to represent our country and to help a country which was his by a disaster in which the medical infrastructure collapsed. The hospital we will build will give them more then aid, it will give them quality treatment and will save lives.”

Libya ceasefire talks in Moscow: Good progress made although not all sides signed the deal, Lavrov says

 

Negotiations in Moscow helped to achieve some progress in the Libyan peace process, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said. However, not all parties signed the document.

 

The Libyan National Army (LNA) and the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) have agreed upon some ceasefire details, but they are still working on a document to elaborate upon some aspects of the ceasefire deal.

 

Some warring parties signed the agreement immediately, but General Khalifa Haftar, the LNA commander, wanted to wait until Tuesday morning to have more time to study the document.

 

The talks in Moscow, which involved the leaders of the major Libyan warring parties as well as foreign and defense ministers of both Russia and Turkey, lasted for more than six hours and were mostly focused on detailing the terms of the ceasefire regime. The draft document suggests that the hostilities would stop and all parties would observe the ceasefire without any preconditions. A commission is also to be established to determine the contact line between the GNA and the LNA.

 

Lavrov also made it clear that Russia and Turkey would further lend their support to all Libyan parties to help them implement the agreement reached in Moscow.

 

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also expressed hope that both sides would eventually commit to complying with the newly-reached agreement, paving the way for the start of political process in Libya.

 

According to Lavrov, the agreement was signed by Fayez al-Sarraj, the head of the UN-backed Tripoli-based Government of National Accord, and Khalid al-Mishri, the head of the High Council of State, an advisory body formed after the UN-backed 2015 talks, which is technically able to advise both the GNA and the Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR) aligned with Haftar’s LNA.

 

Aguila Saleh, the head of HoR, did not sign the document. However, Lavrov hopes the group will sign it on Tuesday.

 

Both leaders “view this document positively and just want some extra time, until tomorrow morning, to make a final decision about signing it,” the Russian minister told journalists. “I hope, this decision will be positive,” he added.

On September 27, 2016, Carlin announced his resignation. He formally left the NSD on October 15, 2016. Carlin had been named Acting Assistant Attorney General in March 2013 and was confirmed in the spring of 2014.

 

Carlin had previously served as chief of staff to then-FBI Director Robert S. Mueller.

 

Carlin was replaced with Mary McCord – who would later accompany Acting Attorney General Sally Yates to see White House Counsel Don McGahn regarding General Michael Flynn.

 

Carlin announced his resignation exactly one day after he filed the Government’s proposed 2016 Section 702 certifications. His signature can be found on page 31.

 

Carlson went on to address the many actions that Carlin took going against the law to provide the FISA Court information that the FISA 702 process was not broken. However, at the same time audits of the area that Carlin oversaw showed massive irregularities, corruption and crimes. Carlin covered this up and did not report it to the FISA Court.

 

Irregularities were later provided to the Court after Admiral Mike Rogers performed audits of the FISA process and provided his results to the Court in October 2016, shortly after Carlin left the DOJ. Admiral Rogers is admired for later showing up unannounced at Trump Tower after the 2016 election and telling the President elect that the Trump Tower was being spied upon. The day after the Admiral’s visit to Trump Tower, the Trump transition team moved to one of Trump’s golf courses and out of Trump Tower.

Pakistan court annuls ex-president Musharraf’s death sentence

 

Lahore High Court (LHC) has annulled the death sentence handed to former president Pervez Musharraf, ruling that a special court which found him guilty of high treason was unconstitutional, according to a government law officer.

 

Following the LHC ruling, the ex-president is now a “free man,” Ishtiaq A. Khan, Additional Attorney General of Pakistan, who represented the government in the case, told AFP. The whole process against Musharraf – including the creation of a special court – was deemed to be void.

 

LHC “has declared everything from the initiation of the complaint and its conclusion unconstitutional,” Khan said, as cited by Reuters.

 

Earlier in the day, Musharraf’s lawyer Azhar Siddique told the media outside the court that the judges have “nullified everything” against his client.

Colorado judge denies request to take man's guns under new 'red flag' law

 

In a first, a judge declined a motion to confiscate a man’s guns under Colorado’s “red flag” law, according to CBS4.

 

The unnamed woman who filed the request, who lives in the town of Limon, is one of four known people who have made filings to confiscate guns under the law, with others filing in Denver and Larimer County.

 

The filing claims the man in question has a drinking problem and has verbally and physically threatened the person making the request with a handgun, according to CBS4.

 

Lincoln County, where Limon is located, has indicated it will not honor the Colorado law, but state Rep. Alec Garnett (D) said the law allows for requests to be turned down.

 

He told CBS4 that in this case, the mechanism for denying a request worked as intended. The reasoning behind the judge's denial was not immediately made public.

 

The details of red flag laws vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, but Colorado’s allows law enforcement to seek temporary protection orders or confiscation orders from a judge for a person deemed a danger to themselves or others, with a court hearing required within 14 days of an order being granted to determine whether to extend the confiscation, with a cap of 364 days.

Injured Mexican Cartel Gunman Fled into Texas After Shootout that Left 8 Dead

 

PIEDRAS NEGRAS, Coahuila – A Los Zetas gunman fled to Texas after being shot multiple times during a fierce firefight with Mexican authorities this week. U.S. Border Patrol agents tracked and apprehended him before eventually giving medical assistance. The incident ultimately resulted in the deaths of eight cartel members.

 

The shootout took place on Thursday shortly after 3 p.m. when a group of Cartel Del Noreste (CDN) faction Los Zetas gunmen attacked a police checkpoint near the town of Guerrero and close to the banks of the Rio Grande, information provided to Breitbart Texas by the Coahuila Public Security Secretariat revealed.

 

Gunmen rode in several vehicles to a police checkpoint and began shooting at the officers. Authorities fought off the attack and called for backup as dozens of state police and soldiers rushed to the scene. Initial information indicated four gunmen were killed. The officers seized several weapons and body armor with the CDN-Zetas logo. Coahuila authorities later revealed a total of eight gunmen died in the clash.

 

After the shootout, Coahuila authorities contacted U.S. Border Patrol agents, notifying them that at least one gunman fled across the Rio Grande. According to a Border Patrol statement, the agency deployed helicopters, multiple agents, and a special unit called BORTAC to search for the fleeing man. Authorities found foot signs and a trail of blood which led to a man with multiple gunshot injuries. After agents provided aid, they airlifted him to a hospital where he remains in custody.

Because government is the antithesis to freedom, industrial hemp has been banned nationwide since 1937 ostensibly due to the plant’s similarities to marijuana. Many have speculated that this move was also due to the fact that cannabis is in direct competition with the pharmaceutical industry by providing far safer alternative treatments as well as directly competing with the petrochemical industry. However, all this changed in December 2018 after President Donald Trump signed the Agriculture Improvement act of 2018, legalizing industrial hemp on a national scale.

 

Despite this move, law enforcement across the country continue to go after entirely legal businesses for selling this THC-free version of the cannabis plant. However, they are quickly being exposed for the tyrants that they are. Even the mainstream media—who have long suppressed and ignored the benefits of the hemp plant—are now forced to cover its benefits.

 

In spite of knowingly forging a name for themselves on the wrong side of history by prosecuting innocent farmers, tyrants in the enforcement class wage on. A struggling farmer in South Carolina just learned this the hard way when dozens of cops raided his farm and bulldozed his entire hemp crop, he says was worth several million dollars.

 

After hemp was legalized with the farm bill, John Pendarvis got to work plowing it into his fields last year. Unfortunately, his crop was in the path of hurricane Dorian last year and took a massive hit. The plants were flattened and the land was flooded so he was then forced to use land that wasn’t officially permitted for hemp by the state agriculture department.

 

According to WaPo, he called the agency to ask whether he should hire a crew to manually prop up the 25,000 plants. “They said, ‘Keep doing what you’re doing,’ ” he remembers. Days later a platoon of militarized police showed up and raided his farm, handcuffing and arresting him for illegal hemp cultivation on his own property. These hero public servants then bulldozed his crop.

 

“It must have been 30 of them coming from everywhere,” Pendarvis said. “Now it’s just all rotted up.”

 

As WaPo reports:

 

Pendarvis first ran into trouble after raising a first round of seedlings in a greenhouse in May and realizing that the water supply for his permitted field was insufficient. With a limited planting window, he utilized an adjacent field and another two acres in a field owned by a colleague 100 miles north.

 

He says he called the state agriculture department and was told to submit an amendment form. According to agency spokeswoman Eva Moore, he did not complete the form until after officials inspected his property. Weeks before the hurricane hit, they reported him to the law enforcement division that handles state-level drug crimes for willfully planting on an unpermitted field.

 

His attorney, state Sen. Brad Hutto (D), contends that Pendarvis was treated like a drug trafficker by the officers who showed up and that his crop was destroyed despite the South Carolina attorney general saying judicial review should first be sought in such cases. Citing pending litigation, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division declined to comment on the case or its execution of hemp law.

Israeli Intel Helped the United States to Take Out Soleimani, Report Says

 

Israeli intelligence helped the United States to assassinate Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani in a drone strike in near Baghdad, NBC reported on Friday.

 

According to the report, informants at the Damascus international airport tipped off the CIA about the time Soleimani's plane took off for Baghdad, while Israel confirmed the intelligence provided to the Americans.

 

According to The New York Times, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo before Soleimani was assassinated, being the only leader in the region that was informed about the operation.

 

As the Cham Wings Airbus A320 carrying Soleimani landed outside the Iraqi capital, CIA agents at the Baghdad International Airport confirmed the exact location of the plane, the NBC report said.

 

Then, U.S. drones armed with four Hellfire missiles, moved into position in the Iraqi airspace, fully controlled by American forces.

 

In a bid to unravel the chain of events that led to Soleimani's killing, NBC interviewed two sources directly familiar with the details of the operation that took out the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force, as well as other senior officials who were informed about it.

 

Iraqi authorities are currently holding four people suspected of aiding the U.S. – two Baghdad airport employees and two Cham Wings airline workers, who are believed to be part of a broader network that provided information about Soleimani to the United States. The authorities suspect that the four informed the CIA about Soleimani's arrival in Iraq on the night he was killed.

 

In addition, two U.S. officials told Reuters on Friday that their country carried out a secret operation in Yemen that targeted, but failed to kill, an Iranian military official last week.

 

The strike was carried out on the same day that the United States struck Soleimani, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

 

The timing could suggest that the United States had sought to take out a broader swathe of the Iranian military leadership when it killed Soleimani, citing an imminent threat from him.

 

The Pentagon declined comment on the failed strike in Yemen, first reported by the Washington Post.

 

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the United States killed Soleimani because "they were looking to blow up our embassy."

 

Trump said the United States also carried out the strike because of a rocket attack on a U.S. military base in Iraq by an Iran-backed militia in December that killed a U.S. contractor, which U.S. officials believe Soleimani had a role in orchestrating.

 

Asked about Trump's remarks on the plot to blow up the Baghdad embassy, a senior U.S. defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity, noted Soleimani had orchestrated protests at the embassy and acknowledged there had been such plotting to blow up the embassy.

Conceivably this means Harry could be on Canadian coins within the space of a month.

Big Tech Firms Are Joining Trump’s All Out War Against Iran

 

Deleting messages of support for Iran may seem a petty, childish retaliation for opposing the Trump administration, but it has profound ramifications for freedom of access to information.

 

Silicon Valley giant Facebook announced Friday that it would be deleting all positive posts about recently assassinated Iranian general Qassem Soleimani on its platform and its subsidiary Instagram. The reason for this, it explained to CNN, was that the new U.S. sanctions made it illegal to promote any message supporting a person or group that the government describes as a terrorist organization. “We operate under U.S. sanctions laws, including those related to the U.S. government’s designation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its leadership,” a Facebook spokesperson said. Instagram had already closed Soleimani’s account in April last year, following Trump’s designation of the IRGC as a terrorist group. Following the news Friday, Twitter suspended Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s account for “unusual activity.” It was later reopened.

 

Last week Trump threatened to wreak havoc and destruction on Iran, promising to destroy dozens of major Iranian cultural sites, recognized immediately by the international community as a major war crime and a crime against humanity. The president has backed away from open war, but also announced new “punishing” sanctions on the Islamic Republic

 

In the rush to comply with these new rules, big American companies have gone overboard. Paypal, for example, began blocking donations to alternative media website The Grayzone that mentioned “Iran” in the title or text. The Grayzone has been a rare source of pushback to the Trump administration’s plans for war in the region.

 

Last year Medea Benjamin traveled to Iran to catalog the effect of the already existing sanctions. She described a population of 80 million who had seen their savings wiped out as the value of the Iranian Rial had plummeted. “Sanctions are suffocating people’s life choices,” she explained, meeting women who could no longer attend foreign universities and men who could not afford to get married. The sanctions have also greatly increased poverty and homelessness and made it much harder for people to get lifesaving medical treatment, as foreign drugs are nearly impossible to come by. Instagram is extremely popular in Iran, with at least 24 million users as of early 2018– around a third of the entire population. That is why banning positive descriptions of Soleimani is such a far-reaching and problematic issue. While deleting messages of support for the government or suspending Khamenei’s account may seem a petty, childish retaliation for opposing the Trump administration, it actually has profound ramifications for freedom of access to information.

During President Trump’s speech to the nation on Wednesday he accused Soleimani of directing recent attacks against US personnel in Iraq which injured four and killed one American.

 

In an interview with Fox News that aired on Thursday, Pompeo said “There is no doubt that there were a series of imminent attacks that were being plotted by Qassem Soleimani,” He went on to say, “we don’t know precisely when, and we don’t know precisely where, but it was real.” Maybe it’s just me, but without having any specifics whatsoever Pompeo’s statements do not make Soleimani sound like a “real” threat, if anything this solidifies the notion that the White House used a lie that lacks any evidential backing to bring us inches away from war with a nuclear regional power.

 

Iraqi Prime Minister Abdul-Mahdi called the assassination of Soleimani and al-Muhandis an act of aggression against Iraq and the Iraqi people, and a flagrant violation of Iraqi sovereignty, and stated it was a dangerous escalation. Since then US troops have been asked to leave Iraq but the request has fallen on deaf ears. Iraq does not want to become a battlefield for war between the United States and Iran.

 

Lt. General Soleimani was an instrumental figure in the fight against Daesh in Syria and Iraq and saved countless Christian and Muslim lives by thwarting missions that put their civilian lives in danger. However, as is the case in many of Washington’s manufactured pretexts used to justify unwarranted wars and invasions, heroes are vilified and terrorists (along with their sponsors) are revered.

Im British, and have been on the Trump train for about a year and a half. Like most people, when i first heard Donald Trump was running for president i was very skeptical.

 

But then something magical happened. I watched one of his rallies. And i saw the look.in his eye. The words in his tounge. He spoke about draining the swamp, and didnt care for Politically Correct nonsense that is killing society. He bellow words of America First. And it was glorious!

 

The moment that 100% solidified in my mind that DJT was legit was at the new york dinner. Where he and Hilary had to make a speech infront of the elite. I rememebr Mr Trump imsulting them to their face - the look on their faces was something i will never forget.

 

He has had the MSM attacking him 24/7 and still stands strong. Immigration is down, black unemployment is down, Hispanic too, and lets not forget how the value of the USD value skyrocketting.

 

I think that President Trump is the greatest person to have walked this Earth. And so are persons like Q, who have been working in the shadows for the good of all.

Tribunals Timeline

Over this past year we have had hints of US Military Tribunals. Dunford’s marines landed at Langley on November 20, 2017 and confiscated their files, in a lawful snatch of intel, and almost simultaneously Hillary and McCain wore ankle boots signaling they were under House Arrest. McCain later showed up wearing his boot on the wrong foot. Then, in apparent good health, he suddenly died of cancer and had a closed casket funeral. Q implied he was executed for treason, and Q called his moment of death to the minute a month earlier. On December 21, 2017 President Trump wrote an Executive Order (EO) stating that funds involved in human rights abuses could be confiscated. What does Trump’s Executive Order mean? It means that all Hillary funds, laundered through the Clinton Foundation, will be confiscated. None of these matters will be in the press, per se. On March 1, 2018 Trump issued another EO clarifying that both civil and military courts were valid, and allowing civilian courts and lawyers to be used to augment military staff during military Tribunals. It also alluded to the current law allowing Martial Law to be declared during times of National Emergency. There was an odd delay in this EO to January 1, 2019 but what did occur were multiple subpoenas served during the Bush 41 funeral on December 5, 2018. How to take those under House Arrest out of circulation? How to inform the public? Trials await, and this latest EO by Trump allows them to proceed according to Military Law. Between March 1, 2018 and January 1, 2019 Trump won a solid Republican Senate, to guard against impeachment. Kavanaugh was confirmed to solidify a favorable SCOTUS. Barr was confirmed as the new Attorney General, and declared he would only release that portion of Mueller’s pending report he deemed appropriate. Because the government shutdown lasted over 31 days, Trump can now legally dismiss members of the entrenched Deep State, and restricted rehiring of these individuals via yet another EO on January 17, 2019. Then, due to the illegal immigrate crisis at the Southern border, Trump declared a National Emergency in yet another EO on Feb 15, 2019. Where are we now? Tribunals are openly discussed. Senator Graham confirmed the legality of Tribunals during the Kavanaugh hearings. And apparently Trey Gowdy can now talk openly about Tribunals, as he did on a recent Fox News show with Maria Bartiromo. Is the public being educated?
