…What makes this Horowitz statement so ridiculous, political and hypocritical, is that only four days earlier IG Horowitz was so alarmed at the gross incompetence of Atkinson that he submitted an interim memorandum noting extreme deficiencies in the FISA work product of Michael Atkinson as legal counsel for the DOJ-NSD.

The DOJ and FBI have an internal FISA self-check mechanism. The DOJ National Security Division (DOJ-NSD) chief counsel Michael Atkinson, and the chief counsel for every FBI field office are required to conduct an “Accuracy Review” of selected FISA applications. One per field office (25 to 30 field offices),which are also sent to DOJ-NSD (main justice) for general counsel Atkinson inspection.

Horowitz detailed 39 examples of Michael Atkinsons’ willful violations of law and policy within 42 “accuracy review” files at the DOJ-NSD. The error rate within the DOJ-NSD files that Atkinson was responsible for was over 93%.

IG Michael Horowitz was so alarmed by the gross incompetence he sent an urgent interim memorandum to the DOJ and FBI notifying the Attorney General and FBI Director of the systemic violations discovered. Two days later the FISA court responded to the IG memorandum by demanding the DOJ/FBI reveal the names of the application targets.

So it is more than a little disingenuous and self-serving for Michael Horowitz to be clutching his pearls about Michael Atkinson getting fired as ICIG, when only a few days earlier Horowitz was raising alarm bells about Atkinson’s gross incompetence in his former position as general counsel for the DOJ National Security Division.

Perhaps Horowitz didn’t think anyone would notice?

Perhaps Horowitz was so assured of MSM providing cover, that he didn’t think anyone would connect the dots from his recent memo on the DOJ-NSD incompetence, to the man who held the job, Michael Atkinson?

Regardless of Horowitz’s anticipatory outlook, the recent IG report outlining Atkinson’s gross incompetence in the FISA scandal, vis-a-vis the 42 DOJ-NSD Accuracy Reviews, is the atomic shield against the political narrative Horowitz, Atkinson and their political allies might attempt to deploy.

Levin said Obama worked with the FBI and intel agencies, knew everything about the counterintelligence program targetting the Trump campaign, and yet he is the one man that was never questioned about the Russia-Flynn probe.

Levin said documents released Thursday as exhibits to the government's motion to dismiss the Flynn case reveal that Obama knew about Flynn's visit with then-Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak. Levin believes this is what contributed to the formation of a strategy to "take out Flynn." The nationally-syndicated radio host also said Obama knew about the FISA abuses because it is unlikely that the president was not alerted when the FBI went to the FISA court to get surveillance warrants. Otherwise, Levin said, the FBI, DOJ, CIA, DNI, NSC, and other intel agencies went rogue.

The Justice Department on Thursday moved to drop its case against Flynn after internal documents were released raising serious questions about the nature of the investigation that led to Flynn’s plea of guilty to a single count of lying to the FBI.

In a court filing, the DOJ said it was moving to dismiss the case "after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information."

DOJ officials said they concluded that the FBI interview of Flynn from which his guilty plea stemmed was "untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI's counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn" and that the interview was "conducted without any legitimate investigative basis.""

It was a shit show two breads back. Baker syndicate took dough next bread, early on as baker who put that in notables requested hand off at dough post. "Newly declassified transcripts released Thursday by the House Intelligence Committee reveal that top Obama administration officials had no concrete evidence that the Trump campaigned colluded with Russia in the 2016 Election.

The transcripts come from 57 witnesses who were interviewed by the committee during the Trump Russia probe. Obama's National Security Advisor Susan Rice and Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch were among those who gave their testimony.

In her interview with the House Intelligence Committee, conducted on September 8, 2017, Rice admitted there 'wasn't anything smoking' that showed the Trump campaign had helped with Russia's election meddling.

'I don't recall intelligence that I would consider evidence to that effect… prior to my departure,' she stated."

And while businesses are slowly opening again, an influential model often cited by the White House has said the death toll from the virus could exceed 130,000 by August. Meanwhile, some local leaders have said their communities are not ready to undo the restrictions.

The lack of a unified approach in addressing the pandemic may cause problems in eradicating the virus – even with a vaccine, Garrett said.

I read every word of the Susan Rice transcript newly released. Frankly, I was surprised that many places were still covered for security reasons. No earthshattering reveals.

In general: Starts with her two roles and type of intelligence from NSA to UN ambassador.

• Repeatedly states she was ask briefer if she wanted to know a name (didn’t like term unmasking), and briefer seemingly would return the name to her in person. The document would not be given again with names revealed. So her briefings released would not reveal unmasked names.

Gowdy pressed her on this point of leaking after unmasked, page 91

Rice: But I haven’t seen a connection established there

• Find this quite telling regarding Trump and his people talking to foreigners and not being interested in meeting with Obama now that he was outgoing.

• Rice goes on and on about how Trump administration incoming did not function as any other administration normally would have.

Trump people – such as General Flynn – were directly beginning to make contacts with and meeting foreigner during the transition and several times the foreigner would not also meet with current Obama administration.

Rice complained with such comments more than once:

“we had ample reason for concern” because Trump transition people were communicating with “foreigners about policy in a way that is clearly antithetical to the sitting administration’s policy.” And “it is even more concerning if they are doing so secretly”

“Flynn was pursuing backchannels for conversations with foreigners” ALARMED HER as UNAMERICAN.

• Rice claims “And I have no idea what the hell a political unmasking is.” And “I don’t know how one would use that information for a political purpose”

• In Rice opinion the integrity or work product of James Comey was “unquestioned”.

Remember the '08 Housing crash?

Supposedly the Mortgage GSE'S (Government sponsored enterprises) that are entity established to enhance the flow of credit to specific sectors of the American economy, in this case the mortgage industry, FNMA (Fannie Mae) and FMCC (Freddie Mac) became insolvent in the crash.

There's plenty of controversy surrounding that declaration by the Bush Administration and funny accounting has been the substance of numerous law suits.

But either way, what happened illegally or not (though it was obviously illegal to anyone with half a brain), was that the companies were nationalized.

So they've been under the conservatorship of the FHFA. Under FHFA, the funny accounting was reversed and the entities became hugely profitable. So during Obama administration, they pulled the cash out and spent it.

The Secretary of Treasury Mnuchin stated once during an interview, it was used to fund Obamacare. Rather that can be proven, I don't know.

But under Trump administration, POTUS placed Dr. Mark Calabria into the position to lead the FHFA and this conservatorship of Fannie and Freddie. Of which there has been a plan to recapitalize and release them back into private hands.

Well, the China Virus was supposed to crash us again and hurt the process of releasing the GSE'S and cause generalized shockwaves through the economy.

But (they) couldn't kill the GSE's during the Bush and Obama years, though they tried. And because Calabria strengthened their books during his term, Fannie even turned a slight profit in Q1 of this Plandemic and was prepared for up to ~ 12 or so weeks of shutdown per Mr. Calabria.

A caution on the Flynn case.

THREAD

Following the government’s motion to dismiss the case, the defense has agreed to withdraw all pending motions, including the plea to withdraw the guilty plea and compel further productions from Covington. This will probably be filed very soon (or while I’m typing this)

Obviously this makes sense from the individual standpoint of General Flynn, who surely wants the case over with after 3+ years of hell

But from the standpoint of spygate, it means we won’t be seeing the original 302 & any other evidence that could have been disclosed via more court filings. In fact, the motion relies on the “edited” version of the 302, rather than the original, and doesn’t say if it still exists

It also means, after Sullivan accepts the governments motion, the case obviously never goes to trial. So no Strzok, Comey, McCabe, Yates or Pientka on the witness stand. No pre-trial discovery. No extensive press coverage leading up to & during the trial. No “not guilty” verdict

And the DOJ’s motion, while devastating to the credibility of Comey and co, withdraws the case on the least bad outcome for the DOJ/FBI, basically a poor application of process defense: e.g. the lack of a “predicted” investigation, and “materiality” statute requirements not met

The motion doesn’t accept that egregious misconduct occurred. Or that the interview was a set up to entrap Flynn (though it hints it). It just says there was no basis for the FBI’s interview, which isn’t the same thing at all. It doesn’t say WHY Comey & co. did what they did

It’s a little like the IG report in that respect

DOJ: The FBI had no basis to open a case on Flynn and no basis to interview him, as no crime occurred

ALSO DOJ: We don’t say why that case was really opened, why the interview occurred, who ordered it, & covered it up, and why

Maybe that will be part of Durham’s investigation. Maybe it wont. But what we can say for sure is that the DOJ’s motion ensures we won’t find out those answers via the legal route of the Flynn case

Flynn’s had to carry enough of a burden over the last few years though. It’s not on him to keep this case open just to expose what happened to him AND everyone else. Thats AG Barr’s job. And he needs to finish it.

ABC said on Monday it would include a disclaimer about the plot line of the debut episode of the drama “Eli Stone,”

which links childhood vaccines to autism, and direct viewers to a government Web site that discredits such a link.

ABC’s decision follows a call by the American Academy of Pediatrics for ABC to cancel the opening episode of “Eli Stone,”

which is scheduled to be broadcast at 10 p.m. Thursday.

In a letter to ABC executives on Friday, Dr. Renee R. Jenkins, the president of the pediatrics academy,

warned that the episode “could lead to a tragic decline in immunization rates.”

The first episode portrays a lawyer who wins a case against a drug company on behalf of a mother who believes

that a preservative in a vaccine caused her child’s autism.

The link between a vaccine preservative called thimerosal and autism has been debated for much of the last decade,

but many scientific studies have failed to show any causal link between the two.

The letter from the pediatrics group followed an article in The New York Times last week highlighting the episode.

Greg Berlanti, a co-creator and executive producer of the series, said that executives at neither ABC nor its

ABC Studios production unit had any qualms about the episode, which he said he believed showed both sides of the argument.

Most public health organizations believe there is only one side, however.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration,

the Institute of Medicine and the World Health Organization are among the organizations that have studied and rejected

possible links between autism and the preservative in vaccines.

“Many people trust the health information presented on fictional television shows, which influences their decisions about health care,”

Dr. Jenkins wrote.

Her letter said that beginning in 1998 in Britain, “erroneous reports linking the measles vaccine to autism prompted

a decline in vaccination and the worst outbreak of measles in two decades, including the deaths of several children.”

ABC will present a written notice and voice-over saying:

“The following story is fictional and does not portray any actual persons, companies, products or events.”

A second card will direct viewers to the Center for Disease Control’s autism Web site, www.cdc.gov/autism.
