How about if we push requiring onsite oximeters when masks are required?

All places mandating wearing masks should be required to provide an easily accessible oximeter station that allows any person to check their blood oxygen level and heart rate. Since mask wearing reduces oxygen to the body and brain and increases heart rate by constricting airflow, on-site oximeters should be mandated by OSHA as this is clearly a safety issue.

A Terrorist’s Ties to a Leading Black Lives Matter Group

New bill would protect Netanyahu from former spokespeople court testimony

 

Spokespeople for politicians will not be able to testify against them, according to a new bill submitted this week by Likud MK Shlomo Karhi.

The bill would institute client privilege for spokespeople, just like there is with lawyers and psychologists who cannot testify against their former clients.

For instance, state’s witness Nir Hefetz would not be able to testify against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. But Hefetz could be grandfathered into the law, which is unlikely to be able to be applied retroactively.

The Likud is expected to fast-track the bill. It was unclear whether the bill would apply to recent cases of spokespeople who testified against politicians who were accused of using drugs, sexual harassment and rape.

The proposed legislation is another in a series of bills submitted by Likud MKs that have been aimed at helping Netanyahu with his criminal cases.

For instance, the Likud MKs have sponsored the French Law, which would prevent a prime minister from being probed, a bill preventing taped conversations from being used as evidence and the recommendations bill, which tried to prevent police from publishing their recommendations. None of the bills passed.

Hamas Says Planned Israeli Annexation A "Declaration Of War" While IDF Vows 'We're Ready'

 

In late April Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shocked the region in declaring he expects that by middle of summer Israel would move to annex broad swathes of the West Bank, including the Jordan Valley, as part of Trump's "deal of the century" peace plan. The date consistently referenced in Israeli media reports is July 1st.

 

“President Trump pledged to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Jewish communities there and in the Jordan Valley,” Netanyahu said. And just this week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo responded to an urgent United Nations appeal not to go through with it ahead of the July 1 target date by saying the matter is solely up to Israel to decide.

 

This as senior Trump aides reportedly met this week to hash out the matter of whether the administration should give the final "green light" - given it appears Tel Aviv is awaiting the moment of unambiguous backing before annexation. This is because it is sure to spark conflict on the ground. Hamas on Thursday said that annexation will be "a declaration of war".

 

Hamas military spokesperson Abu Obeida vowed that Israel will "bitterly regret" such a provocative decision and act of aggressive, Fox News reports. He called it a "declaration of war against the Palestinian people" in a video message directed both at Israel and for supporters. He vowed his Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades will fight as a "loyal guard in defending the Palestinian people and their lands and holy sites."

 

Previously senior Hamas officials also said any hope for political dialogue or settlement would be forever destroyed. “Palestinians would not accept these plans at all. They are going to resist these plans by all means available. Gaza is not excluded from this,” another official, Basem Naim, said.

 

Already the planned annexation has resulted in large protests this week in West Bank cities and towns.

 

It also appears the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are making ready: “The upcoming events can develop into fighting in Gaza,” IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi said as Israel braces for a possible new intifada. The IDF has essentially said 'we're ready to go'.

California Legislature Votes to Allow Discrimination by Race, Gender, National Origin

 

This week, the legislature in California voted to remove the constitutional prohibition on “discriminating against or granting preferential treatment to persons on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in public employment, public education, and public contracting.” That’s right, California just voted to allow racial and gender discrimination in all its public activities. The bill will move to the ballot in November for a popular vote.

 

The measure, ACA5, repeals section 31 of Article 1 of the California Constitution. The strikethrough language below is what’s being removed—and this is a really bad look:

 

(a) The State shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting.

 

(b) This section shall apply only to action taken after the section’s effective date.

 

(c) Nothing in this section shall be interpreted as prohibiting bona fide qualifications based on sex which are reasonably necessary to the normal operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting.

 

(d) Nothing in this section shall be interpreted as invalidating any court order or consent decree which is in force as of the effective date of this section.

 

(e) Nothing in this section shall be interpreted as prohibiting action which must be taken to establish or maintain eligibility for any federal program, where ineligibility would result in a loss of federal funds to the State.

 

(f) For the purposes of this section, “State” shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the State itself, any city, county, city and county, public university system, including the University of California, community college district, school district, special district, or any other political subdivision or governmental instrumentality of or within the State.

 

(g) The remedies available for violations of this section shall be the same, regardless of the injured party’s race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin, as are otherwise available for violations of then-existing California antidiscrimination law.

 

(h) This section shall be self-executing. If any part or parts of this section are found to be in conflict with federal law or the United States Constitution, the section shall be implemented to the maximum extent that federal law and the United States Constitution permit. Any provision held invalid shall be severable from the remaining portions of this section.

 

The proponents of the bill, the most radical progressives in California (which is really saying something), say it’s about removing the ban on affirmative action, first passed in 1996. The University of California Board of Regents, headed by Janet Napolitano, supports this bill. Many have absurdly cited the CCP coronavirus pandemic and the murder of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department to say the era of affirmative action should end. Opponents call it nothing more than a racial spoils system designed to grant preferential treatment to some communities of color over others.

SDOT turned away after attempting to remove CHOP barricades

 

Representatives from the Seattle Department of Transportation, Mayor’s Office, and Fire Department were all down at the CHOP Friday morning, intending to remove concrete and wooden barriers from the area.

Jim Jordan Calls On Nadler To Help Obtain Trump-Russia Documents Before Barr Hearing

 

Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, is calling on Rep. Jerry Nadler to help obtain documents and testimony related to the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign prior to a hearing in July for Attorney General William Barr.

 

“The Attorney General’s appearance is also an opportunity for the Committee to conduct oversight of the Obama-Biden Administration’s weaponization of the Justice Department and intelligence community against the Trump campaign,” Jordan wrote in a letter to Nadler obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

 

Barr is scheduled to testify before the panel on July 28, the first time he has appeared before Congress since 2019.

 

Nadler has already indicated that he plans to quiz Barr over his handling of several politically charged investigations involving Trump associates such as Roger Stone and Michael Flynn.

 

Jordan is calling on Nadler to also dig deep into the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign, and surveillance conducted against several Trump associates.

 

“As you claim to be so concerned about politicization at the Justice Department, this information should shock and alarm you,” wrote Jordan, who said that Nadler has “been oddly silent and disinterested.”

 

“To allow the Committee to better understand the scope and extent of the Obama-Biden Justice Department’s targeting of the Trump campaign and transition team, the Committee must obtain specific documents and testimony from relevant Obama-Biden Administration witnesses,” said Jordan.

 

Jordan did not specify the documents and witness interviews he is seeking. But he listed several revelations from the Justice Department inspector general’s report on the FBI’s Trump-Russia probe, as well as documents from the investigation of Flynn.

 

On Wednesday, the Justice Department disclosed notes that former FBI counterintelligence investigator Peter Strzok took during a Jan. 5, 2017, meeting that indicated that former Vice President Joe Biden brought up the Logan Act in reference to Flynn.

 

“The notes show that Vice President Joe Biden suggested using the Logan Act to target LTG Flynn, which wound up as the basis for the FBI’s subsequent interview of LTG Flynn,” wrote Jordan.

So I've been wanting to get this off my chest for almost a week now. I'm a new poster and a long time creeper.

A bid to allow 17-year-olds to vote in California primary elections is headed for the November ballot, 16 years after it was first introduced in the Legislature.

 

A bill that won final approval Friday, ACA4, would allow 17-year-olds to vote in primary elections if they would turn 18 before the general election. As a constitutional amendment, it must be passed by a majority of voters in November before it can take effect.

 

For Assemblyman Kevin Mullin, the San Mateo Democrat who carried the measure in the Legislature, the bill is a matter of simple justice.

 

Young voters eligible to vote to candidates in a general election “should have the right to shape that field in the primary,” he said. “We should look at elections as a cycle,” with the primary and general considered as parts of the same election.

 

It was a family effort — Mullin’s measure was first introduced by his father, former South San Francisco Assemblyman Gene Mullin, in 2004.

 

“This is the sixth attempt and the third time I’ve introduced the bill,” said Kevin Mullin. “But this is the first time it ever got as far as the Senate floor.”

 

The key vote was in the state Senate on Thursday. The Legislature requires a two-thirds vote to put a constitutional amendment on the ballot, and Mullin was short just a few hours before his measure came up.

 

“I need 27 and I’ve got 25 for sure and three or four others who are leaning my way,” he said before the vote. “It’s tough to lock in 27.”

 

He didn’t have to worry. The final vote was 31-7, and while all the opponents were Republican, Mullin even pulled a couple of GOP votes for the measure.

 

The bill breezed through the Assembly Friday afternoon when it was returned for concurrence with Senate amendments. It now moves directly to the ballot.

 

In the past, it’s been Republicans who have blocked efforts to allow 17-year-olds to vote.

 

“The issue has always been framed in a partisan context, with Republicans arguing that we’re trying to build more Democrats earlier,” Mullin said. “But today most young people don’t register Democrat or Republican — they register as no party preference.”

 

That’s not exactly true. In California, 16- and 17-year-olds are allowed to pre-register to vote, which makes them automatically eligible to cast ballots when they turn 18. Of the 162,921 teenagers pre-registered as of Feb. 18, the most recent state report, 42% declared themselves as Democrats, 15% as Republicans and 36% as no party preference.

 

Among the state’s 20 million-plus registered voters, 45% are Democrats, 24% Republicans and 25% no party preference.

 

Republicans aren’t the measure’s only opponents. The Election Integrity Project California argued in a letter to the Legislature that 17-year-olds, most of them still high school students, don’t have the life experience they need to cast an educated vote.

 

At 17, teenagers “are still legally children and can’t even go to a tanning salon without a parents’ permission,” said Ruth Weiss, vice president of the organization, which recently filed a suit forcing Los Angeles County to purge its rolls of inactive voters. “We have to draw a line somewhere, and the government draws that line at 18.”

 

Supporters of the measure include Secretary of State Alex Padilla, the California League of Conservation Voters, the state’s League of Women Voters and the California School Boards Association.

One man dead, 40 infected at Sonoma County nursing, senior homes

 

A man who died Sunday was one of 40 people who have been infected in Sonoma County senior care and nursing homes since the start of the month, officials said.

 

County health officer Dr. Sundari Mase announced the new cases, which include 21 residents and 19 staff members, as well as the death Tuesday. She did not say which senior and nursing homes have been affected.

 

Until June, the county had only 13 total infections in senior care and nursing homes, Dr. Mase said. The man who died Sunday was the fifth person killed by the coronavirus in Sonoma County and one of 974 total confirmed cases since the pandemic began, according to data from the California Department of Public Health.

 

County health officials confirmed Tuesday that the man who died Sunday was a resident at a nursing home, but they did not disclose which facility. The nursing home Broadway Villa Post-Acute recently reported at least one resident death, according to the California Department of Public Health.

 

State data also shows active coronavirus cases at nursing facilities Petaluma Post-Acute Rehab and Santa Rosa Post-Acute. Heather Hunter, a spokeswoman at the Brookdale Paulin Creek senior living center in Santa Rosa, confirmed the facility has “more than one” coronavirus case.

 

Rohish Lal, a spokesman for the Sonoma County Department of Health Services, said that a recent outbreak at a single nursing home contributed to the 50 new infections reported countywide this week. He declined to identify the nursing home, citing ongoing litigation.

During World War I, the Rockefeller Institute also sent its experimental serum against meningococcal disease to England, France, Belgium, Italy and other countries, contributing to the spread of the epidemic worldwide.

 

During the 1918-1919 pandemic, the so-called "Spanish" flu killed fifty to one hundred million people, many of them soldiers.

Major COVID-19 outbreak at rural California prison. Officials blame state for inmate transfer

 

Three prison inmates who were moved from San Quentin to rural Lassen County earlier this month have tested positive for COVID-19 and likely sparked an outbreak that’s left county leaders fuming as case counts soar and reopening plans hang in jeopardy, local officials said.

 

As of Friday morning, at least 159 inmates at California Correctional Center in Susanville have tested positive for the disease in the past 14 days, according to the state’s online testing dashboard. It’s the first outbreak of its type in Susanville, the county’s largest city where prisons are a major employer.

 

The outbreak happened after the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation transferred three inmates from San Quentin earlier this month, said Richard Egan, Lassen County’s administrative officer.

 

By Thursday this week, 76 inmates tested positive. The number doubled by Friday morning.

 

The transfers initially tested negative for COVID-19 and were housed with other inmates, Egan said. It was unclear whether people from any other facility had also been transferred into Susanville.

 

But local officials said the source of the recent outbreak must be the San Quentin transfers, rather than a staff member coming into the prison for work, since the county has an extremely low infection rate.

 

San Quentin this month has rocketed to the top of a list of state prison outbreaks after inmates were transferred from another infected facility. At least 539 people in custody have contracted the disease. The state on Monday issued a two-week freeze on most inmate transfers.

 

Originally built in 1963, California Correctional Center has four facilities and 18 conservation camps. It houses more than 3,000 minimum and medium-security inmates and serves as a gateway for training and placement into California’s prison wildfire program.

 

“Frankly, we were disappointed that the institutions made the decision to continue to transfer inmates in and out of CCC,” Egan said in an interview Friday. “It seems like that concern was warranted.”

 

The outbreak raises the possibility that staff members could get infected and spread the disease to the community. Egan said the county has struggled to get information from the state about the outbreak in their prison. The health officer does not have jurisdiction over the prison and was not consulted about the transfer, Egan said.

 

CDCR declined to address the county’s concerns about infected San Quentin inmates bringing COVID-19 into the facility. Spokeswoman Dana Simas said in a statement the department was monitoring the situation and that prison-wide testing finished this week, meaning additional positive cases could be expected.

 

California’s prison medical system was placed under federal receivership in 2006, after a federal court ruled that conditions for inmates violated their constitutional rights. The receiver is still in place.

 

“Additionally, we are working closely with the court-appointed Federal Receiver on inmate transfers, as well as public health agencies and stakeholders for the safety and security of our inmates, staff and communities,” she said.

 

Not counting the prison outbreak, Lassen County has just three other COVD-19 positive residents. It has reported only 12 infections since the pandemic began. No deaths have been reported.

 

David Teeter, chair of the Lassen County Board of Supervisors, on Thursday evening said he was “mad as hell at the State of California” for bringing an outbreak to his county. Now, residents in his county are at increased risk of contracting COVID-19, despite months of work to keep the virus at bay.

I have a personal connection to the Spanish flu. Among those killed by the disease in 1918-1919 are family members of both my parents.

 

On my father's side, his grandmother Sadie Hoyt died of pneumonia in 1918. Sadie was chief secretary in the navy. When she died, my grandmother Rosemary and her sister Anita were raised by their aunt. Sadie's sister, Marian, also joined the navy. She died of the "flu" in 1919.

 

On my mother's side, two of her father's sisters died in childhood. All the family members who died lived in New York.

 

I suspect that many American families, and many families around the world, have been similarly affected by the mysterious "Spanish" flu.

 

In 1918, "flu" or "influenza" was a catch-all term for a disease of unknown origin. It did not have the specific meaning it has today. This term meant a mysterious disease falling from the sky. In fact, the term "flu" comes from the medieval Latin influenceia in the astrological sense, which means coming from the influence of the stars.

 

Why is what happened a hundred years ago important today?

 

Between 1900 and 1920, enormous efforts were made in the industrialized world to build a better society. I will use the example of New York to talk about three major changes in society that occurred there at that time and their impact on mortality from infectious diseases.

 

  1. Clean water and sanitation

 

From the late 19th century to the early 20th century, New York built an extraordinary system to bring clean water to the city from the Catskills, a system still in use today. New York City has also built nearly 10,000 kilometres of sewers to evacuate and treat waste, which protects drinking water. The World Health Organization recognizes the importance of clean water and sanitation in the fight against infectious diseases.

  1. Electricity

 

From the late 19th century to the early 20th century, New York built a power grid and wired the city to make electricity available in every home. Electricity allows refrigeration. Refrigeration is a little-known hero as a public health benefit. When food is refrigerated from farm to table, the public is protected from potential infectious diseases. Cheap renewable energy is important for many reasons, including the fight against infectious diseases.

 

  1. Rockefeller's Pharmaceutical Industry

 

From the late 19th century to the early 20th century, New York became the headquarters of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research (now Rockefeller University). The Institute is the birthplace of the modern pharmaceutical industry and was the pioneer of many approaches used today by the pharmaceutical industry, including the preparation of vaccine serums, for better or for worse. The vaccine used on soldiers in the Fort Riley experiment was grown on horses.

 

Data on mortality rates in the United States from the early 20th century to 1965 clearly indicate that clean water, flush toilets, efficient sewer systems and refrigerated foods have all combined to effectively reduce mortality from infectious diseases BEFORE vaccines against these diseases are available.

 

Have doctors and pharmaceutical companies boasted of reducing mortality from infectious diseases that legitimately affect urban miners [who work in underground or underwater construction projects] , plumbers, electricians and engineers?

Watching an episode of American Experience on PBS a few months ago, I was surprised to learn that the first cases of "Spanish flu" occurred in Fort Riley, Kansas, in 1918. I wondered how it was possible that this event of historical importance could have been so mis-named a hundred years ago and never corrected.

 

Why "Spanish"? Spain was one of the few countries not to have participated in the First World War. Most of the countries involved in the war have censored their press.

 

Freed from censorship concerns, the first press reports of deaths of sick people in large numbers came from Spain. The countries at war did not want to scare the troops further, so they merely made Spain a scapegoat. Soldiers from all sides had to cross no man's land under machine gun fire, which was already quite frightening without knowing that the trenches were a breeding ground for disease.

 

One hundred years later, it is high time to drop the word "Spanish" from any discussion of this pandemic. If the so-called "Spanish" flu started at a U.S. military base in Kansas, then this pathology/pandemic could and should be named more appropriately. To prevent future disasters, the United States — and the rest of the world — must carefully consider what really caused the pandemic.

The name "Spanish" influenza may never have been corrected because it helps in part to conceal the origin of the pandemic.

 

If the origin of the pandemic is related to a vaccination experiment on American soldiers, the United States may have preferred to call it "Spanish flu" rather than "Fort Riley bacteria" from 1918, or any similar name. The so-called "Spanish" flu started at the very site where this experimental bacterial vaccine was administered, making it the main suspect as the source of bacterial infections that caused the deaths of so many people.

"Preparing for a pandemic" became a recurring topic of discussion in the mid-2000s. To develop vaccines to prevent any other deadly pandemic "flu" such as the one in 1918-1919, influenza vaccine manufacturers in the United States received billions of dollars from taxpayers.

 

Even though scientists knew at the time that bacterial pneumonia was the real cause of death, vaccine manufacturers were able to obtain billions of dollars in government subsidies by capitalizing on the "flu" component of the so-called "Spanish" flu.

 

Today, I believe that bacterial pneumonia was responsible for this pandemic — thousands of autopsies confirm it.

 

According to a 2008 National Institute of Health document, bacterial pneumonia was the cause of death in at least 92.7 percent of autopsies conducted in 1918-1919. It is even likely to be more than 92.7 per cent, since of the nine thousand autopsies performed by scientists, "none had negative (bacterial) results in lung cultures."

 

[…] In the 68 of the most qualitative rounds of autopsies, in which the possibility of unreported negative cultures could be ruled out, 92.7 per cent of autopsy lung cultures were positive for the bacterium. … in a study of approximately 9,000 subjects who were followed from their clinical presentation due to influenza to recovery or autopsy, the researchers obtained pneumococcal or streptococci cultures using a sterile technique from 164 of the 167 lung tissue samples.

 

There were 89 pure pneumococci crops; 19 cultures in which only streptococci were present; 34 cultures resulted in mixtures of pneumococci and/or streptococcus; 22 cultures resulted in a mixture of pneumococci, streptococci and other organisms (mainly pneumococci and non-hemolytic streptococci); and 3 cultures resulted only in non-hemolytic streptococci. No negative results were obtained from lung cultures. (3)

Pneumococci or streptococci were found in "164 of the 167 pulmonary tissue samples" autopsied. That's 98.2 per cent. The bacterium was the pathogen.

 

Where does the bacterial pneumonia of the Spanish flu of 1918-1919 come from?

 

When the United States declared war in April 1917, the nascent pharmaceutical industry had an unprecedented resource — a large number of human subjects for testing as the first draft of the U.S. military.

 

Before the war, in 1917, the U.S. army had 286,000 men. After the war, in 1920, the U.S. military disbanded and had 296,000. [Although the armistice was signed on November 11, 1918, the First World War did not end that day: on the Western Front, demobilization was slow and partial until 1921, and in the east, new type of fighting continued until 1923.

 

During the 1918-1919 war years, the U.S. Army had grown to 6,000,000 men, of whom 2,000,000 were sent overseas. The Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research took advantage of this new reservoir of human guinea pigs to conduct vaccine experiments.

The vaccine program was designed on the basis of three doses. The first dose was administered to 4,792 men, but only 4,257 received the second dose (a decrease of 11%), and 3,702 received all three doses (a decrease of 22.7%). A total of 1,090 men did not receive the third dose. What happened to those soldiers? Were they sent east by train from Kansas to board a boat bound for Europe? Were they at the Fort Riley Hospital? Dr. Gates' report doesn't tell us.

 

An article accompanying the show "American Experience" that I watched sheds light on where these 1,090 men might have been. Gates began his experiments in January 1918. In March of that year, "one hundred men a day" entered the Fort Riley Infirmary. Are some of these men the ones who are missing in Dr. Gates' report — the very men who did not receive the second or third dose?

 

[…] Shortly before breakfast on Monday, March 11, the first domino fell, signalling the beginning of the first flu wave of 1918. The company's cook, Albert Gitchell, showed up at the camp's infirmary complaining of a "bad cold." Just behind him was Corporal Lee W. Drake expressing similar complaints. At noon, camp surgeon Edward R. Schreiner was in charge of more than 100 sick men, all apparently suffering from the same pathology… (5)

Gates reported that several of the men who participated in the vaccine experiment subsequently developed flu-like symptoms: cough, vomiting and diarrhea. These symptoms are a disaster for men who live in barracks, travel by train to the Atlantic coast, sail to Europe, live and fight in trenches. Unsanitary conditions at each stage of travel provide an ideal environment for the spread of a contagious disease such as bacterial pneumonia.

According to Dr. Gates' report:

 

Several cases of bowel relaxation or transient diarrhea have been reported. This symptom had never been seen before. A thorough investigation of individual cases often revealed that men who complained about the effects of vaccination were suffering at the time of injection of light coryza, bronchitis, etc.

 

Sometimes the reaction was triggered by a feeling of cold or chilliness, and a number of men complained of fever or feverish sensations the following night.

 

Then there is nausea (sometimes vomiting), dizziness and general "pain" in the joints and muscles, which in some cases are particularly localized in the neck or lower back area, causing stiff neck or back. Some injections were followed by diarrhea.

 

The reactions sometimes resembled the onset of epidemic meningitis and several vaccinated men were sent to the Base Hospital for diagnosis. (4)

 

According to Gates, they injected soldiers with random doses of an experimental vaccine against bacterial meningitis. Subsequently, some of these soldiers developed symptoms that "imitated" those of meningitis, but Dr. Gates said whimsically that it was not real meningitis.

 

Soldiers developed flu-like symptoms. Bacterial meningitis, both then and now, is known to cause flu-like symptoms. (6)

 

The similarity of the early symptoms of bacterial meningitis and bacterial pneumonia to flu symptoms may be the reason why vaccination experiments at Fort Riley may have escaped scrutiny as a potential cause of the so-called "Spanish" flu for a hundred years or more.

 

How did the so-called "Spanish" flu spread so widely and so quickly?

 

An element that creates a perfect storm exists in the way Gates' bacteria spread. The First World War ended only ten months after the first injections. Unfortunately for the 50 to 100 million dead, the soldiers who were injected with horse bacteria moved quickly during these ten months.

A 2008 article on the CDC website describes how sick Soldiers of the First World War were able to transmit the bacteria to others by becoming "vectors of spread."

 

Finally, for brief periods and to varying degrees, affected hosts became "spread vectors" that increased aerosolization of strains of colonizing bacteria, particularly pneumococci, hemolytic streptococcus, Haemophilus influenzae and Staphylococcusaureus [Pfeiller's bacillus and Golden Staphylococcusaus]

 

For several days during local outbreaks - particularly in busy places such as hospital wards, military camps, troop transport ships, and mines (and trenches) — some people were immunologically sensitive, infected or recovering from influenza infection.

 

People with active infections sprayed bacteria that had colonized their noses and throats, while others — often [confined] in the same spaces — were extremely vulnerable to invasion and rapid spread in their lungs of their own colonizing bacteria or those of others. (1)

 

On three occasions in his report on the Fort Riley vaccine experience, Dr. Gates states that some soldiers had a "severe reaction" indicating "unusual individual sensitivity to the vaccine."

 

Although the vaccine made many people sick, it only killed those who were sensitive to it. Those who became ill and survived became "vectors of spread" that passed the bacteria on to others, creating more vectors of spread, which spread to others by killing vulnerable people. And the cycle repeated itself beyond the conditions of unsanitary conditions that prevailed in times of war, and the millions of soldiers on whom to experiment were no longer there.

 

The toll for American troops was enormous and well documented. Dr. Carol Byerly describes how the "flu" spread like wildfire in the U.S. military — Substitute the terms "flu" or "virus" used by Dr. Byerly with "bacteria":

[…] Fourteen of the largest training camps had reported flu outbreaks in March, April or May, and some of the infected soldiers had carried the virus with them on ships bound for France…

 

When the soldiers in the trenches fell ill, the soldiers evacuated them from the front lines and replaced them with healthy men.

 

This process continually put the virus in contact with new hosts — healthy young soldiers in which it could adapt, reproduce and become extremely virulent without the risk of exhaustion.

 

[…] Before a travel ban could be imposed, a contingent of replacement troops left Camp Devens near Boston for Camp Upton on Long Island, which was the army's boarding point for France, and took the flu with him.

 

Upton's doctors stated that she arrived "suddenly" on September 13, 1918, with 38 hospital admissions, followed by 86 the next day and 193 the next day.

 

Hospital admissions peaked on October 4 with 483 people and in 40 days Camp Upton sent 6,131 men to hospital for influenza. Some developed pneumonia so quickly that doctors diagnosed it simply by observing the patient rather than listening to his lungs… (7)

 

The United States was not the only country to have the Rockefeller Institute's experimental bacterial vaccine.

 

A 1919 report by the Institute states that "it is worth mentioning that before the United States entered the war (in April 1917), the Institute had resumed the preparation of anti-meningococcal serum, in order to meet the demands of England, France, Belgium, Italy and other countries."

 

The same report states that "In order to meet the suddenly increased demand for curative serums developed at the Institute, a stable specially dedicated to horses was quickly built… » (8)

What could go wrong, then, that an experimental anti-meningococcal serum is made from horses and injected into soldiers about to be subjected to the cramped and unsanitary living conditions of war?

 

Is this bacterial serum manufactured at the Rockefeller Institute, injected into American soldiers and distributed in many other countries, responsible for the fifty to one hundred million people killed by bacterial lung infections in 1918-1919?

 

The Institute claims to have distributed it during the First World War in England, France, Belgium, Italy and other countries. Little is known about how these countries conducted their own experiments on their soldiers.

 

I hope that independent scientists will take an honest look at these issues.

 

Hell is paved with good intentions

 

I do not believe that anyone involved in these vaccine experiments attempted to harm anyone. Some will see the Rockefeller name and shout "Illuminati!" or "Population Reduction!"

Doctors and the vaccine industry have usurped the credit that goes right to plumbers, electricians, urban miners, engineers and urban planners.

 

For these reasons, policy makers at all levels of government should protect the human rights and individual freedoms of individuals from evading immunization programs through exemptions. The pride of the medical community will never go away. Policy makers need to know that vaccines, like all medical interventions, are not foolproof. Vaccines are not magic. We all have a different sensitivity to disease. Human beings do not respond to a good approach for all and have needs that are specific to each individual.

This story will probably be ignored by the mainstream media because their salaries are paid by pharmaceutical advertising.

 

The next time you hear someone say "vaccines save lives," remember that the true story of the cost-benefit ratio of vaccines is much more complicated than their three-word slogan. Also, remember that vaccines may have killed 50 to 100 million people in 1918-1919. If true, these costs have far exceeded any benefit, especially considering that plumbers, electricians, urban miners and engineers have done, and continue to do, the real work that reduces mortality from disease.

 

Vaccines are not magic. Human rights and bioethics are of paramount importance. Policy makers must understand the history of medical pride and protect individual and parental human rights as described in the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights.

BLM Co-Founder Appears To Violate IRS Laws On CNN

 

A co-founder of the Black Lives Matter Global Network weighed in on the 2020 election, in an apparent violation of Internal Revenue Service laws prohibiting 501(c)(3) organizations from engaging in campaign activity.

 

Patrisse Cullors, in her official capacity as a co-founder of the BLM Global Network, told CNN on June 19 that “our goal is to get Trump out.”

 

“Trump not only needs to not be in office in November but he should resign now,” she insisted. “Trump needs to be out of office. He is not fit for office.”

 

According to the IRS, a 501(c)(3) organization “may not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates.”

 

The prohibition includes “public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office.” Organizations that violate this policy may lose their tax-exempt status.

 

The donation page for BLM is linked with ActBlue Charities, the 501(c)(3) wing of the Democratic political action committee ActBlue.

 

The BLM Global Network is not individually registered as a 501(c)(3), but instead operates through a fiscal sponsorship agreement with the nonprofit organization Thousand Currents. Fiscal sponsorships allow the sponsoring organization to accept and direct donations on behalf of the sponsored group. But an organization sponsored by a 501(c)(3) is still required to comply with the regulations governing nonprofits, and is still prohibited from making partisan political statements.

 

Cleta Mitchell, an expert on campaign finance regulation and tax laws governing charitable organizations such as BLM, told The Federalist that partisan political activity by tax-exempt 501(c)(3) groups is “completely prohibited” by federal tax law.

 

BLM “must comply with all the rules that govern 501(c)(3) organizations,” Mitchell said.

 

Thousand Currents, the nonprofit that fiscally sponsors Black Lives Matter, was also recently exposed for having a convicted terrorist on its board of directors.

 

The Black Lives Matter Global Network and the IRS did not return requests for comment.

Astor was of German stock, born Johann Jakob Astor on July 17, 1763, in Walldorf near Heidelberg. His father was Johann Jacob Astor, a butcher, and his mother was Maria Magdalena vom Berg. He worked first in his father's and also sold dairy. In 1779, at the age of 16,he went to Londonto join his older brother George to work for an uncle at his piano and flute factory, Astor & Broadwood. He soon learned English and changed his name accordingly. Around late 1783 or early 1784, Astor immigrated to NYC, staying in the boarding house of Sarah Cox Todd, a widow. He and her daughter by the same name married in 1785. He had gone to NY to work for his older brother Henry in his butcher shop, but on the voyage there he had met a fur trader. While working for his brother, he also bought hides from descendants of Pre-Columbians, tanning them himselfand selling them in Londonfor a huge profit. He soon established his own shop in NY in the late 1780s, while also working as a representative of his uncle's musical instrument factory. The discovery of gold impelled him to branch out around the country. With the Jay Treaty passed in 1794 between Britain and the U.S., he was able to open establishments in Canada and around the Great Lakes, ===and in London, he procured a contract with the North West Company, perhaps with the aid of Alexander Henry.

 

Astor was recruited by the British/British spies.

 

Alexander Henry (called "the elder" to differentiate him from another younger relative), was a justice of the peace in Montreal, Canada, and had been since 1794, and would continue to be until 1821. He had previously been a captain in the militia.He was in the habit of entertaining the top merchants in his home,and attended parties. Born in 1739 in New Brunswick, NJ, of a merchant family, he was a relative of the minister Matthew Henry.His father, Alexander Henry, had emigrated to British North America from the West of England. Alexander, his son, was also a merchant in Albany, NY, supplying the British army during the French and Indian War. He was the first Englishman known to have visited the area of Milwaukee, in 1760.

 

In early 1761, Henry met the one time fur trader Jean Baptiste Leduc, who encouraged him to trade in the area and around Lake Superior.He then got a fur-trade permission at Montreal from the British who had just taken over the New France in Canada.He hired a guide who would be his longtime canoer, Etienne-Charles Campion. In 1765, Henry got a license to trade in the Lake Superior area. ==Backed by British funds, and having had relations with French Canadians, able to deal among both groups, and formed a partnership with Jean Baptiste Cadotte, Sr., a man he had met during that time of adventure. He had the trade monopoly of the area for a few years since he had no competition. He made a killing with overcharging.

 

In 1767–68 he added to his partnership Sir William Johnson, the Duke of Gloucester, along with others, forming a silver mine around Lake Superior, but it went bust. In 1775, Henry, in canoes, explored with with forty men northwest of Lake Superior, and his partners became rivals of the Hudson Bay Company. He returned to Montreal with plenty of furs, giving the governor, Sir Guy Carleton, a map of the western region through which they had traveled. Apparently, fur trading was really his cover/side job, as he seemed to be gathering intelligence for the British while maintaining contacts with French Canadians. He then was to explore the northwest territories, so he traveled to England in the fall of 1776 with the cover of making a deal with the Hudson's Bay Company, but he was transmitting intelligence to the British.

Henry returned to British North America in 1777 now partnered with Jean-Baptiste Blondeau to continue to travel around the area of Sault Ste Marie, again joined by Cadot.Between 1778 and 1781 he returned to England on three occasions, in contact with Sir Joseph Banks, the advisor of King George III. He was detailed to find a passage to the Pacific Ocean based on faulty intel from Captain Cook.

 

He then "settled" in Montreal as a general merchant in 1781.His mission however was to continue to gather intel and set up a scheme to gather together successful traders to "trade stories", while he regaled them, and making occasional trips to Detroit or the previous areas for the fur trade, his original cover. The Beaver Club was a gentleman's dining club of English speaking traders and some French traders trading in Montreal.

 

In 1786, led by Simon McTavish and the Frobisher brothers, 28 partners had established thethe North West Companywith an army of 2,000 men and pre-Columbian descendants working with them. In 1792, Henry and his nephew Alexander Henry the younger, got a share in the North West Company. They all made a killing trading furs.Having earned their laurels, they turned to conduct trading with London and Paris out of Montreal.They would parade in their canoes with the finest of luxuries with giant canoes filled with guides and hunters whom they paid very well, ensuring their loyalty.Some portion of the members lived so large, they would spend their fortunes, unable to curb their lusts making up for the years they had spent in their wilderness journeys. This played right into the scheme, since when they were broke they could be lured with funds in exchange for doing other "jobs".

 

Potential members were selected by ballot and then invited as a guest to one of the gatherings. Following the dinner, a vote was taken and only if approved of unanimously would they then be invited to join the Club. Members were Highland Scots, French Canadians, English, Irish, and Loyalists. They would also meet at hotels and taverns around Montreal. Among famed guests were Lord Selkirk, General Sir Gordon Drummond, General Sir Isaac Brock,Washington Irving,General Sir Roger Sheaffe, Sir John Franklin, Thomas Moore, Lord Dalhousie,and out of NY, John Jacob Astor.(Note: ==Irving modified the history of Florida, exaggerating the myth of the Fountain of Youth in two books on the Spanish conquest of the Americas. Anyhow, a long story to set the stage onhow John Jacob Astor became what he was, and what he was really doing--working for Britain after he had compromised himself.However, he was richly rewarded, beyond what he could have imagined, but he had made a deal with the Devil. Congress passed the act banning all exports to foreign nations. The embargo aided France in its war with Britain, keeping U.S. neutrality intact. The U.S. economy fell, resulting in some ignoring the embargo, causing Jefferson to send federal agents to find violators and smugglers. Jefferson felt if the embargo would have been obeyed, the U.S. could have avoided the war in 1812. He said he would not run for a third term. Monroe returned to Virginia, pressed to run in the next election for president. After J.Q. Adams had backed the embargo, the Massachusetts legislature elected his replacement before the end of his term, so he stepped down from the Senate. The embargo cut into Astor's import/export business who could no longer legally trade with Canada.

 

1810 - 1812: Astor financed the overland Astor Expedition to reach the area in Columbia to establish an outpost, and the South Pass was discovered, which would be used by thousands of settlers on the Oregon, Mormon, and California trails to pass through the Rockies.

 

1811: Astor established a trading post at Fort Astoria at the Columbia River location, the first U.S. settlement on the Pacific coast.

This went right along with the British plot to change the U.S. economy to one of a debt economy, under the control of the City of London, the banking center of Britain.In the meantime, the election was being held, Madison's challenger beingDeWitt Clinton, leading Federalists and dissenting Democratic-Republicans, in the pockets of the British.Clinton only won the Northeast, while Madison won the South and the West and Pennsylvania (one begins to see the early desire for western expansion because Britain had gained a foothold in the Northeast). Back at the war, Tsar Alexander of Russia offered to arbitrate, and Madison accepted. When Secretary of War William Eustis resigned, Madison wanted Monroe to be both Secretary of State and Secretary of War, but the Senate rejected this, allowing him to serve as acting Sec. of War until Brigadier General John Armstrong was confirmed.Because Monroe and Armstrong were at loggerheads, Armstrong blocked Monroe's plan to lead the invasion of Canada. Van Buren worked with Clinton, Governor Tompkins, and Ambrose Spencer in support of Madison during the war (for what deals, one wonders), and was named a special judge advocate prosecuting William Hull during Hull's court-martial for the surrender of Detroit, even while criticizing Madison during the war. Astor's fur trading business was again disrupted, with the British capturing his trading posts.==

 

1815: William Astor, Jacob's son,having attended school in Germany,returned to the states, and became his father's partner, who changed the firm's name to John Jacob Astor & Son.The Astors continued their China trading.William was also in charge of their subsidiary, the American Fur Company.He would carry on his father's real estate swallowing of NYC, mainly between 4th and 7th Avenues below what is now Central Park.

 

1816:Astor joined the opium-smuggling trade, purchasing ten tons of Turkish opium, and shipping it to Canton on the cargo ship Macedonian. This was a British plot to weaken the Chinese so they could get control of Chinese ports and their market. After Astor did his part, he stopped the opium trade and continued his trading, with Britain.

 

1817: Astor's trading firm became the dominant firm around the Great Lakes after Congress passed passed a protectionist law barring foreign fur traders from U.S. territories. He ate up rivals, creating a monopoly.
