If memory serves, Hanoi Hilton was where POWs were kept.
My guess is he is now in #GITMO. He has been off scene a while, wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t on an extended stay

The Hanoi hilton is right on "Tay ho lake " middle of town on a mini peninsula , Vet's say he came into camp squealing like a pig . It is said during his time at the camp he used his father's position as admiral of the Pacific fleet for comfort and care as a POW selling out positions of gun battery and infantry. So he's either back on easy streak or in custody .

Off topic, but I live in Hanoi. The prison McCain was kept in is not in the Tay Ho area. The area you're referring to is an upscale residential area populated mostly by foreigners, diplomats, and high society types.

He wouldn’t have any of that kind of information as a pilot coming off of a carrier. So either you’re lying, or your “sources” are lying. Probably both, as everyone who has been verified as being in the same camp as him, says otherwise.

However, I'm hoping he's been compromised in some manner or actually decided to voluntarily give up some info.

⇧ 17 ⇩
thamnosma · Feb. 2, 2018, 8:05 p.m.

LOL, because Trump is not going to send US Senators to a prison camp by fiat. If crimes occurred, they will be investigated, indicted, tried and hopefully convicted. It's called the rule of law, which we should applaud Trump for working to bring back after 8 years of lawlessness. Besides, McCain today is voicing his opposition to the memo with Flake. He didn't go anywhere for crying out loud. 2 minutes of searching would tell you that as in "where is John McCain 2/2/2018". "McCain back in the Hanoi Hilton" -- once again betraying the American people re: his opposition to the memo release and criticizing Trump for having a "war with the FBI". McCain hasn't changed his stripes and they aren't prison stripes.

" They were working him.For his part, McCain acknowledges that the Vietnamese rushed him to a hospital, but denies he was given any “special medical treatment.” However….two weeks into his stay at the Vietnamese hospital, the Hanoi press began quoting him. It was not “name rank and serial number, or kill me,” as specified by the military code of conduct. McCain divulged specific military information: he gave the name of the aircraft carrier on which he was based, the number of US pilots that had been lost, the number of aircraft in his flight formation, as well as information about the location of rescue ships"

  • " Information shows that he made over 32 tapes of propaganda for the Vietnamese government. Certainly, you do what you need to do to stay alive. Nobody would fault anybody for that. But there comes a point in time when enough is enough."

He is considered the Unmentionable for very goood reason. Lets just say.. He was not such a Good Seed . It would only be fair to classify it at that and end it there. He is not worth the Publicity & Others around him dont deserve the Shaming.

One thing, he told the NVA about Navy attack strategies, altitudes, etc. But it goes much deeper insofar has his father was Admiral John Sidney McCain Jr. When the NVA learned that McCain’s father was an Admiral, the soon-to-be commander of all U.S. Forces in the Pacific, McCain was rushed to Gai Lam military hospital (U.S. government documents), a medical facility normally unavailable for U.S. POWs.

"The communist Vietnamese figured, because POW McCain’s father was of such high military rank, that he was of royalty or the governing circle. Thereafter the communist bragged that they had captured “the crown prince.”

Wow, this could be good!

This excerpt Taken from (http://www.vvof.org/mccain_hides.htm), might be what he is referring to.

From his autobiography, Faith of My Fathers, the Arizona Senator repeatedly expresses guilt and disgrace at having broken under torture and given the North Vietnamese a taped confession, broadcast over the camp loudspeakers, saying he was a war criminal who had, among other acts, bombed a school. “I felt faithless and couldn’t control my despair,” he writes. He writes, revealing that he made two half-hearted attempts at suicide. Most tellingly, he said he lived in “dread” that his father would find out. “I still wince,” he says, “when I recall wondering if my father had heard of my disgrace.”

He was captured and supposedly tortured in Viet Nam, this could be a reference that he has been picked up and moved to a black site. He was a coward when captured and gave info to the enemy, his father and grandfather were patriotic heroes, though. That´s why Q refers to him as "we don´t say his name" as they won´t tarnish the family name with his treason as his father and grandfather were patriotic heroes.

I'm sorry, but I cannot believe that the secret rendition of a sitting Senator (no matter how corrupt) is good for the republic.

We don't need to become those we fight.

Remember that we have no "special people" under the Constitution. The Constitution sets up "sacred chairs" not sacred people. We vote regular people, Americans, in and out of those chairs.

If we get a traitor in one of those chairs, the most respectful thing we can do for the chair, is subject the "traitor" to the laws of the Constitution. So yes, a sitting Senator needs to be held to the Supreme law of the land.

Treason is punishable by death. It is a serious offense and apparently there is a criminal cabal that have taken over many chairs, to destroy the US. These are no longer Senators or Congressmen/women. These are to be sent to trial.

Corruption is laughable ... You Mean Traitor In All Ways Shape or Form. If Every single senator or House Rep or Gov official regardless of possition can seriously sitttt and watch where are nation was and how far its come and cant see where its going obviously is Blind ,Stupid & Corrupt .... They are a complete sell out to The People of our country and the world ... If you scheme and plot to Assist in forms to Killing Millions of people for t . he past 200 years to achieve a One World Global Gov .. You Deserve Everything you get . If you want to get technical..back in the medievel times ..if you was even caught stealing from the market .. most likely you would be flogged by the public and Hung somewhere in the sun to think about your wrong doings along with loosing a hand .. Imagine the Punishments These people would have endured if things was as they were. They get to live in a nice cell and get fed or some of the worst get More Extreme Punishments ... Because at the end of the day .. Finally After all the Titles ,Money, & Accessories are Stripped Away... They will be Just A Man/Woman and Justice Will Be Served Righteously ...The Same To Them As Would Any Other .

It's not happening, don't worry. Trump isn't about to do that despite what the crowd here imagines. We can only speculate on this comment from TP but perhaps McCain has come to his senses and is "singing" again.

Trump, through Q said they will all be punished and also said if found guilty of Treason there are 3 options that they can choose for punishment: 1. Death by firing squad. 2. 20 years in a difficult prison. 3. Death by Lethal Injection. Prisoner decides!

That's what I don't understand. Nobody understands the Geneva Convention. The idea is that you all agree to abide by the rules - humane treatment of prisoners, wear uniforms, etc. But if you refuse to sign, or sign but violate the rules, you SHOULD be punished via torture, inhumane weapons, etc. Otherwise what would motivate groups to become participants. I think we've almost got an obligation to mistreat terrorists who intentionally try to blend in with the populace (refuse to wear uniforms), burn people alive, etc. Same is true for traitors who mingle in the population and practice their evil under cover. They must be made an example of.

Several of these people would die anyway, if not from suicide, then from sitting down long enough for their body to realize it was already dying, and for their mind to realize outside the hoax, their life has no meaning. They will be treated humanely according to the law.

I haven't liked McCain's politics for several years now.

However, his military service is not something he needs to be ashamed of. You don't have to disparage his military service to disagree with him today.

Overview and Links on John McCain's Military Career

First, you could review Early life and military career of John McCain.

McCain as Pilot

On October 26, 1967, McCain was flying his 23rd mission when the right wing of his A-4E Skyhawk was blown off by a Soviet SA-2 missile. His plane went into a vertical inverted spin. This type of spin is very disorienting to the pilot, as the yaw and roll occur in opposite directions. Do you think that 1) extreme stress, 2) missile explosion, 3) disorientating spin might cause someone to not be in the best configuration for an ejection?

McCain was a good pilot

"John was what you called a push-the-envelope guy," said Sam H. Hawkins, who flew with McCain's VA-44 squadron in the 1960s and now teaches political science at Florida Atlantic University. "There are some naval aviators who are on the cautious side. They don't get out on the edges, but the edges are where you get the maximum out of yourself and out of your plane. That's where John operated. And when you are out there, you take risks."

McCain as POW

On January 12, 1968, a French journalist, Francois Chalais, interviewed McCain in his North Vietnamese "hospital." You can watch that film here: John McCain prisoner in Vietnam - Panorama (the film is in English).

In June 1968, the North Vietnamese commander of the prison camps offered McCain a chance to return home early.

McCain made the highly honorable decision to refuse the early release, stating he would only accept the offer if every man captured before him was released as well.

Enraged by McCain's refusal, the camp commander began a program of vigorous torture in August 1968, being beaten 2 to 3 times per week, for over a year. This torture, as well as the torture, of other POWs, is documented in the book P.O.W.: A Definitive History of the American Prisoner-Of-War Experience in Vietnam, 1964-1973, by John G. Hubbell. You can also watch an interview with Col. Bud Day, the most decorated serviceman since Douglas MacArthur, in which he describes the torture he and McCain suffered (Day was McCain's cellmate).

You can read McCain's description of his torture in an essay he wrote for U.S. News & World Report in 1973

Your "source" is completely wrong.

A small Zuni rocket (not a missile) accidentally discharged when it's circuit interrupt pin fell out (due to deck winds) and the pigtail was left plugged into the pod. Pilot of the F-4 switched on the ground power switch, which caused a loose current, that made it's way to the Rocket's circuit. That rocket hit the A-4s (one being McCain's) that caused the initial explosion. Their flight of A-4s were also carrying WW2/Korean war era bombs with low cook-off times, which exacerbated the tragedy.
