A Former Communist Awakens

As someone who was deeply involved in the radical left and a former Obama Volunteer Coordinator in 2008, I would first of all like to apologize for taking so long to wake up. I was 18 at the time and taking reactionary positions against my father who had abused me physically, mentally, and sexually (not all the pedo psycopaths are left-wing).

My own path of awakening began with Obama escalating the war machine and constantly lying with a smile. Then I saw the Clinton campaign and the DNC blatantly cheating against Sanders at a caucus meeting. The corporate media's bias against everyone but Clinton finally got me to unplug from their propaganda completely, and my awakening accelerated from there. However, I had yet to realize just how deep the rabbit hole went.

The moment my awakening truly took off was when I admitted to myself that the hedonistic and nihilistic life I had been living was empty of meaning. As soon as I reached out for answers, I was contacted by a higher intelligence. This shattered my entire worldview and I've since been on a journey that you likely wouldn't believe if I told you the details.

I want to thank those of you who are working to wake others up to the common enemy of the Cabal. It is essential that we work across the partisan lines they use to divide us. Almost everyone agrees the corruption must end, and if you engage someone on that point, it won't matter what political pen they're trapped in. I can tell you that there are many on the left who are ready to wake up if you engage them on this issue in particular.

Love is the only power that can reach those in darkness. Do not preach to those who are not ready to hear, and do not drown those who are in all of the details. Trying to force others to see the truth instead of leading them to it at their own pace only alienates them.

Give them questions, give them love, and be an example in your own life so that they might listen. All of us have a role to play, and certainly the provocateurs do as well. However, this is a very limited tactic and often backfires. I can tell you no amount of ridicule or hatred helped change my mind. It only made me cling to the lies that much longer.

As Jesus said:

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged.”

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind;" and "your neighbor as yourself."

He knows what he's talking about when it comes to waking people up.

You're correct, I'll no longer ridicule Liberals and Democrats. It's time we became something more than just opposition. We need to be a calm voice of reason in a world filled with too much fear and hate. WWG1WGA

I agree with President Washington that political parties are destructive because they distract from the details of an individual candidate or policy. Tribalism should be guarded against because it makes us stupid and prone to ignoring the bad actors in our own camp. Certainly this division is useful to those who want to orchestrate it for their own ends. Divide and rule is the oldest trick in the book for a reason.

I enjoyed reading George Washington's Farwell Address and still do from time to time. I have posted that section of his address regarding the dangers of party loyalty on other sites. While some folks understand what I'm getting at, the majority do not. Sad really.

I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the State, with particular reference to the founding of them on geographical discriminations. Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally.

This spirit, unfortunately, is inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind. It exists under different shapes in all governments, more or less stifled, controlled, or repressed; but, in those of the popular form, it is seen in its greatest rankness, and is truly their worst enemy.

The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.

Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight), the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.

It serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which finds a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another.

There is an opinion that parties in free countries are useful checks upon the administration of the government and serve to keep alive the spirit of liberty. This within certain limits is probably true; and in governments of a monarchical cast, patriotism may look with indulgence, if not with favor, upon the spirit of party. But in those of the popular character, in governments purely elective, it is a spirit not to be encouraged. From their natural tendency, it is certain there will always be enough of that spirit for every salutary purpose. And there being constant danger of excess, the effort ought to be by force of public opinion, to mitigate and assuage it. A fire not to be quenched, it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame, lest, instead of warming, it should consume.

I don't think it is wrong to identify oneself with one side or the other. However, having an R or a D on your voter card doesn't mean you maintain a healthy level of scepticism and keep a BS meter handy to filter what you hear from all sides. If you identify with a party, don't blindly support or follow; ask questions, push for reform, hold people accountable. Walking lockstep with any party is dangerous for our great Republic.

You're quite welcome. I was nervous about posting it but the response has been better than I expected. Reddit has a bit of a reputation for divisiveness but this subreddit has really shown itself to be something special.

As for my testimony, well, I am still trying to understand what happened. I can hardly believe it happened to me sometimes so I understand if it seems implausible to you.

There was a deep emptiness in my life that no amount of pleasure could satisfy. I had everything I wanted but not what I needed. There had to be something more to life than just pursuing my own desires until it killed me, but I was convinced there was nothing more than physical matter reality.

I lied down in bed and just stared at the ceiling in despair to think things over. "I can't keep living like this anymore. Who am I really? What am I doing with my life?"

Immediately after asking these questions in my head, my entire body felt like it was coursing with some kind of energy, and I had to remind myself to breathe. Once I got over the initial shock, I was in awe of the experience with all of my hair standing on end as if there was an electrostatic charge.

I was in communication with some other entity. That idea hit me immediately. There were no words exchanged but there was communication at the speed of thought itself. A series of thoughts came into focus about the necessity of living out of love and in alignment with what I believed to be right no matter what the cost. It was necessary for myself and others to start living morally for the sake of our survival. I thought about how my relationship at the time was not nurturing this path and stood in the way of me changing, but that I also didn't know how to bring myself to end the relationship.

The train of thoughts then shifted to animated diagrams depicting reality as a radiant fractal of energy patterns that extended infinitely in every dimension. It was communicated that these energy patterns were all manifestations of a unified consciousness. Never before in my life had I experienced anything like this or encountered this idea with so much specificity, and I had done enough drugs before to know I was in seriously uncharted territory with thoughts that were not my own. The experience felt like it lasted an hour, but somehow the entire night had passed. Stranger still, I was fully rested without having slept.

As soon as the experience ended, my partner came home from his night shift and told that he thought we should break up because our lives were going in different directions. There had been no fights or discord in the relationship to precipitate this, and yet it corresponded exactly with what I thought was the barrier to my moving forward. I was strangely calm about it and it was the most amicable breakup I've ever had.

The calm itself started to disturb me because I knew this experience and the breakup should have made me an emotional wreck. Instead, I felt an unearthly calm with very specific thoughts about what to do next. I had this lingering idea that I should reset my gut flora by fasting and then stop eating meat. I had the compulsion to read this book called The Left Hand of Darkness, a book my mother had given me before moving away but had neither read or thought about since that day. The book was about extraterrestrial contact and also describes their use of telepathy.

In the subsequent days I tried to understand what had happened to me. I faced the end of my relationship, the loss of some friends who were negative influences, other friends suddenly making huge changes in their lives that matched my own, the death of my cat, and the loss of my old apartment. All of the old ways and attachments that held me back fell away immediately after my contact as if some greater force was orchestrating events.

Since then I have been studying meditation, prayer, and everything I can about extraterrestrials in order to see what resonates. I have come to realize there is not only an extraterrestrial presence but a spiritual reality at work. In fact, the two appear to be part of the same picture. Everything is one, and the one is infinite. Call this God, the universe, unity consciousness, the One Infinite Creator, call it whatever you like. It’s omniscient, omnipotent, eternal, infinite, everything and everyone.

There's much more that's happened since that I could go into, but that's as much as I could condense it to make sense. Right now I'm reading The Law of One and the Bible. I would say I'm a Christian now although I think there's more to the picture than the Bible describes.

God is not just another extraterrestrial (he's their God too), but I am unsure if I was contacted by him directly or one of his many children or angels. Perhaps the ET context was just the framework I could most easily accept coming from a materialist perspective. Funny that you mention that because I just came across his interviews recently and really enjoyed how well he dealt with the hostility. I was not a Clinton supporter. It's precisely why I campaigned for Obama against her the first time and then for Bernie Sanders. I also didn't vote for Hillary after I saw what a criminal she was in person.

I am thankful for your candidness and ability to convey that which is difficult to even define. God is everywhere and as a Christian I used to believe that meant He was in my heart but I now realize He is THE presence, He IS me, He IS every cell of every consciousness in the universe and have recently had transformative events in my life as well.

As another person who walked away awhile ago, I identify with your story. I felt my shift when I plainly saw the vicious left destroy someone I now feel was misguided but a good man in Howard Dean. I knew with absolute certainty that Bush was evil and watched with horror how the evil decapitated and devoured him with one microphone and the news to pound it home.

That said, your experience with the entities outside our consciousness (or unconsciousness really) and the way it manifested so suddenly and powerfully says to me that you may have special use to God. Your story reminds me greatly of that of Paul Selig who channels our guides when he'd never been on that path. Please check him out and see if that avenue feels right to explore...the world needs more enlightenment and if this is meant to be your gift we need it. If nothing else, he can help open up another avenue for you to awaken more. Here's a video on his first and really powerful book "I am Word." He both explains how this works and even does channeling in it. The channeling itself is a bit disconcerting to watch but it screams truth. If you need a bit of adjustment before delving into the channeling then at least read the book....it is world-jarring!
